My first time having Venezuelan food… the arepa I got had chicken, avocado, and cold shredded cheese. The arepa was good but didn’t feel homemade to me, and that ingredient combination reminded me of Taco Bell. I recommend the budare sampler to get a taste of everything. The fried foods and the cachapa con queso de Mano are the best to get here.

Google
Cute place! However The food is lackluster overall. The Catchapa was recommended by our waitress the corn pancake was a good balance between crispy and sweet, the cheese was melty. My husband enjoyed this. I got the sweet brisket plate and unfortunately the brisket was very dry (likely microwaved) almost inedible. The salad was a nice side as well as the beans which were flavorful. Staff was very friendly.

Google
Great experience trying Venezuelan cuisine for the first time! We ordered the budare sampler, arepas, and cachapas. No complaints!

Alyssa Trigueiro

Google
We ordered shredded beef empanadas, a cheeseburger (kids), grilled steak arepa, and churrasco. It was all amazing but the grilled steak in the arepa was by far the best thing we ate. Everything, even a cheeseburger, was perfectly done though.

Rodolfo Nunez

Google
Had a super delicious arepa with black beans and a natural orange juice (it was not cold). The space next door (also theirs) sells tons of Venezuelan candy and food

Juan Albarran Marquez

Google
Customer service was terrible, order was ok but one of the items was bad smell and taste very bad. Small portions and overprice items if you compare other Venezuelan restaurants in USA. Expecting more ...

Google
During my trip to Miami couple of months ago , I got to try one of their meals—the food was delicious, with great portions, and the customer service was excellent

Google
I have been to this spot around three times. This is one of my favorite authentic Venezuelan food spots. There is a good variety on the menu and they even have the famous Venezuelan chicha, a rice based drink (oh the memories) My husband ordered the shredded beef pepito with fries, and I ordered the Arepa pelua which comes with shredded beef and Gouda cheese. Needless to say the meat tastes fresh and it is well seasoned.

Yelp
Just tried the tequeños at budare bistro and they were out of this world! Each one was perfect on the outside and packed with warm, gooey cheese inside. The flavor was rich and savory, however service was ok in yhe restaurant the waitress wasn't very welcoming The lady that was there taking the orders didn't have a friendly face or attitude it looked to me like if she was training . i went in to buy dessert and she wasn't very welcoming. ambiance was cute little place in brickel authentic venezuela food the dessert was ok wouldn't buy again but the guy in the grocery store was very nice and welcoming they have a grocery store to buy all the venezuelan goodies and a next door the reataurant

Yelp
Place to go for some latin fast food, the arepas menu is quite ample and the ingredients of the filling options are of good quality. You can have a one size arepa or the sampler of 4 mini arepas with different fillings, which I recommend if you want to try different flavors. The place is small and has some tables to eat inside. Also good option for to go food.

Yelp
Budare is my go-to choice when ordering from Ubereats. While I was getting my nails done, I saw that it was nearby and decided to swing by for some lunch. I opted for the arepa budare with steak and cheese, along with other mouthwatering fillings that never disappoint. I also treated myself to a cachapa, a sweet Venezuelan corn dish with cheese, and for dessert, the golfeados, a delightful cinnamon bun with gooey cheese. The food was delicious and served quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant may be small, but it's perfect for a speedy meal. The decor is simple yet charming, with signatures and photos of famous patrons adorning the walls. In conclusion, a fantastic spot for a fast and tasty lunch.

Yelp
Late review, but this review was a must. We were visiting the Miami area for my birthday last August 2023. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious!!! I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area to add this to your itinerary for one of your spots to eat at. The service was great, and the ambience was pretty cozy. And I want to add the YouTube video I found this spot on was on point with their review.

Yelp
When the cravings kick in and the hunger bites we often head off to Budare Bistro. This time we were trying to behave and we chose grilled chicken salad and the plate of the day; grilled chicken with sweet plantain and salad. Both options delicious. Of course when the very nice waitress tempted us with a dessert we caved and had a pavlova with dulce de leche in a jar. Totally worth the calories. We really like this local spot. The tequenos delicious fyi. Love it better when they had a few chairs, tables and umbrellas outside.

Yelp
Look no further than budare to satisfy your Venezuelan food craving! One of the things I missed most while living abroad was arepas, and I knew I had been to budare enough times to never be disappointed by them. Met a couple of friends on a Friday at 7pm and we got lucky bc the place wasn't too packed. There was still plenty of parking to go around, so we sat down and got to work on the orders. I got the usual kabeto arepa, made with asado negro & cheese. Sooo delish! For desert, we opted for the tres leches and flan--both delicious. The AC was way too cold for me, so I had to also get a cappuccino, which did not disappoint. Id give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the AC. Every time I come here--even wearing a jacket--i still freeze. It made the experience uncomfortable :( Other than that, food was amazing!

Yelp
Terrible la atención y el sitio deprime horrible las mesas y las sillas y además la comida cara en conclusión malo Y además tienen que arreglar el horario que tienen en si publicación porque no es real y la gente llega al local y esta cerrado

Yelp
Best tequeños in Miami!! You have to try the Gouda and the Blanco. They're fresh, flavorful, and juicy. The interior is fitting for the food, and the presentation is adorable! It's connected to a market with a creative tequeno sign too. Don't miss this spot!

Mariah D.

Yelp
Wonderful service and amazing authentic food! They have a refreshing drink called "papelón". Delicious!!

Royer S.

Yelp
The asado arepa is amazing, Ive ordered many times, also the empanadas are really good

Yelp
The best cruzado chicken and beef only here ! Also they have many options like lentil soup , cachapas with one of the best and soft cheeses, real Venezuela's areas filled with tradicionals Reina pepiada, "real queso guayanes or telita, yummy. Papelon con limon and frescolita Zero.. Beside they have a mercadito full of the best and more assorted snacks, very venezuelans traditional food! Nobody in Miami have the variety that they have. Ask for Luis manager he is very welcoming all the time also the ownes too Antonio and Jesus are extremely nice.. If you are local of Brickell, Coral Gables or whatever zone don't hesitate to come here and enjoy the real and very best Venezuelans location in Miami Pssss they have plato navideño Hallacas, peril and pan de jamon

Yelp
Furniture smells funny, no good light, wrong order placed and they gave me old food idk ‍ Judge for yourself

Isabella P.

Yelp
The service was quick and so nice! The food was with no doubt the best, the food and the environment made feel back in Venezuela. I 100% reccomend this place to anyone looking for a delicious venezuelan food place in Miami

Yelp
They have delicious cáchapas, but they have a sampler platter with mini arepas, mini cachapas, mini empanadas, and other little things-- two versions.. and it's so great to taste everything. The restaurant is mid-to-small size and I saw many couples there. Every time I've gone, which maybe less than 6 it's been full.
google avatar

Sandy W.

Yelp
The Budare Sampler it's a great option to try a bit of everything and it's surprisingly filling. The arepas are yummy and super stuffed with the filling of your choice. A must stop if you want to try authentic Venezuelan fair and friendly service. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Found a little place in a strip mall and stopped in for a snack and omg. Food was delicious, staff was absolutely fantastic, friendly and answered all our questions to make a snack into a full blown meal. I couldn't tell you all we ate but there was lots of cheese and meats inside fried corn bread, empanadas and lots of other stuff. Thanks so much for everything. If we ever get back to the area will be sure to stop in again!
google avatar

Nelson G.

Yelp
The Arepa was hard and service a bit impersonal. I know sound like a couch Es but it is not as good a it use to be!

Yelp
I promise your tummy will be satisfied with this Venezuelan bistro. The hamburgesa mixta OMG! The cachapas is so unique & god oh god is it delicious! Every single bite has you saying 'mmm' haha

Yelp
We came from Pennsylvania to spend some days in Miami, and we decided to try this place. Terrible service, we decided to go somewhere else because of their attitude.

Yelp
Cool small restaurant that serve Latin food. Remember to wear your mask. Do to covid you can only order outside. They are also open late into the evening hours and the food looks good and is tasty but note its Greasy and Heavy.

Yelp
Budare Bistro is a breath of fresh air in South Florida (Miami) where mall style/team restaurant food seems to be dominating the Culinary landscape in this area. Budare is nice and cozy Venezuelan establishment that makes great comfort food which not only tastes fantastic but also comes at a reasonable price point. They have amazing lunch deals So, If your in the mood for Venezuelan style food take a look at their menu and try everything. Overall the food was great, the service was good but parking was limited. With all that in mind, and if your tired of the team restaurants food in south Florida.... Budare Bistro is well worth patronizing.

Yelp
I mean is there even a better place to go have fried food after a night out? This is my TO GO, everything here is SO great. I always go for the Perros or the Burgers but more than anything the TEQUEÑOS!
google avatar

Jacques R.

Yelp
This is a place that has an advantage to be open until late... 6 am is what i was told. Service is ok. Location is ok near Brickell. Food, this is where the stars come to play.. food is average, the "arepa" is ok. Cheese also ok, served in a basket . We also had the tequenios which were ok. All in all, will come to this place for the convenience of grabbing a very late night bite... enjoy

Yelp
After a night out driving down Coral Way, we're lucky enough to find this place open after 4:00 a.m. Is the perfect place for after hours food, so you don't have to go to the usual fast food chains. My first visit on a Saturday morning and the place was packed, really good Venezuelan place to sober up before you hit the bed. They don't sell alcohol late at night which is good, honestly i was just there because it was the only place open at that time. We started with 2 chicken soups, and then 2 sampler platters, both were amazing, but the highlight of the night was the sampler, beautifully presented with 2 mini cachapas, 2 tequeños, 2 empanadas y 2 mendocas for $14.99 so good, cheesy, tasty that we came back 2 days later for more. I highly recommend it for after a night out.

Yelp
Best Venezuelan food you will ever try. The budare sampler gets you all the essentials you need if you're craving everything. For the real deal, you can order all the items separately. Truly would recommend their amazing cachapa. It's a nice portion filled with thick cut cheese and more cheese and nata (a form of sour cream) on top. Tequeños are great! Even better are the mandocas. These are hard to find in any Venezuelan spot as not everyone makes these. Thirsty? Order a frescolita or a Malta polar. Feeling adventurous? Try the rice chicha! It feels more like a dessert drink (like a milk shake) but even better as it is made with rice, condensed milk, cinnamon and their other secret ingredients :) Don't expect anything fancy in this little hole in the wall. But it's ok! The food says it all and that's all we care about right? Great food, great little spot, very clean. Can get very crowded and if you have to wait for a seat, just eat standing or wait for someone to finish. This place is worth every moment of wait and every minute spent in here. Takes you back to Venezuela with every bite you take. If you've never been to Venezuela, hold on for the ride! Just forgot to mention the amazing pabellon if you want something more hearty and home made. Comes with rice, black beans, fried sweet plantains and shredded meat. Overall, great spot as they're also open super late. Dont look at the time on yelp, go directly on their website!

Yelp
This place was really cool on the inside but I ordered 3 empanadas for $16 which I thought was kind of steep for empanadas?? And they were not even edible. They were full of grease and had it was all a thick corn outer shell with barely any filling. I'm not sure what kind of empanada that was but it was horrible. I will not be coming here ever again.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning with my family while we were around the area. Place is located in a small shopping center (limited parking) and small space inside and a few tables outside. I decided to go with the chicken patacon and to my surprise, it was HUGE! I was afraid I would have to order something else, but definitely didn't need to. It was completely covered with cheese and a bunch of delicious sauces that added a special touch to the patacon. I have ordered this same dish in other Venezuelan places and this one was one of the best ones I've had. The arepas my family ordered were also as tasty and the cachapa my brother ordered was very good, covered in so much cheese and unlike other ones I've had. Service was good. There wasn't a lot of people, so I can definitely see why they were extra attentive. I will most definitely come back when I'm around the area and craving authentic Venezuelan food.

Cami V.

Yelp
The food was amazing. We had hard time deciding what to eat so we got the sampler and it felt like home. The staff was so kind and sweet. And the marketplace next to it was lovely too.

Yelp
Best Venezuelan food in Miami!!! Super friendly staff!!! If you want to try real venezuelan food this is it!! A+++++ El sabor mas cercano a mi lindo país!! Muy agradable personal. Gracias!
google avatar

Orlando J.

Yelp
"rude, rude, rude" should be the name of this establishment. No welcome, not even good morning, very unapproachable, their opening line only was: "there will be a long wait, over 20mins for a to go order". Customers dining in were inquiring about the status of their food. I stopped by to buy a Xmas dish for a friend who enjoys this cuisine. The owner should train staff to leave their "attitude" elsewhere or wherever they came from...service and courtesy or lack of can make or break a place. Good luck, Budare!
google avatar

Carlos D.

Yelp
Place it's great, My girlfriend and I came all the way from Maryland, I've been telling her that once we go to Miami we must go to Budare Bistro it was the first time for both and we were not disappointed, the food was exactly what we were expecting I will recommend Looking forward to come back Next time we might get lucky and get to see Kabeto haha
google avatar

Isabella N.

Yelp
(English) Venezuelan Food is my favorite! Every time I come to Budare Bistro I'll order the arepa sampler where you have the option to give a try to 4 different fillings of your choice and the guava and cheese tequeños with a side of freshly squeezed mango juice which so refreshing for this Miami heat!

Yelp
Solid lunch spot! It is pretty hidden and only saw it next to the Vintage Liquor store They have a specials in the week for lunch that are very affordable. I got the Lomo Saltado. The meat was well cooked and the rest of the food tasted good. I shall be going back once a week with my buddies Also, quick service to be in and out The patacón looks really good!
google avatar

Jon D.

Yelp
4.5 stars. The empanadas are pretty good and they really stuff the arepas so you definitely get plenty of bang for your buck. The staff is really friendly. They do serve alcohol but choices are extremely limited (2 types of "beer" if you consider "Polar" and "Corona" beer) to their defense this is a Venezuelan place and Polar is a Venezuelan beer so there's that. Bottom line: come here for the empanadas and arepas, not for the beer.
google avatar

Geoff L.

Yelp
This restaurant has ample parking unless it is super busy. I tried 1 arepa, the churros and 2 empanadas. It wasn't bad at all, however I would recommend Doggi's Arepa Bar first. If you had no spare time, this place is fine. Definitely all unhealthy, but good overall.
google avatar

Carlos C.

Yelp
I believe that customer service should be equal, I went today and they let my whole family wait standing up, with the excuse that they were 'closing', meanwhile another table was busy like a normal day. Nobody offered a table to wait, nobody offered a good explanation as to why we needed to wait standing Up, or at least to be kind because it's December 31st. I have people coming from California, Germany and Croatia and I was excited to show them the Venezuelan restaurant, and they left with a terrible impression of you guys! Again costumer service over here in America needs to be equal for everyone. There are no excuses. Happy New Year!
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
The hostess was so rude we literally left!!! I mean since we came in she had this agresive attitude, when we came in we were looking around a she was screaming BUENAS NOCHES but like pissed and then we asked for the menu and she just grunted and started pointing at the counter we couldn't tell what she wanted us to do, we figured out the menu on the phone and after a few minutes we decided to order and (in a rude way) she asked if it was here or to go, and we said here and she said bueno entonces tienen que sentarse so we went outside and she was still looking at us angry so we left. No wonder the place is empty if they have such rude people working there. You should review the cameras and look at the footage. This is absurd!!!
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
Located in the roads neighborhood in a very small strip. The hours of operation are great since they open until late! This is a very very small space however, I love the budare sampler & cachapa. Whenever I'm out late this is the place to go or just craving some Venezuelan goodies!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm digging the customer service, the late night soundtrack (Kaskade and Deadmau5), and their sampler tray. For about 14 bucks, this option let me see what I like and don't. Having picked favorites from this, I now know where I can maybe make it a 5 star review next time. That being said, on the savory front, my favorite was the shredded chicken mini arepa. The bread was warm and the chicken tastefully spicy, with enough of a kick after part one of an evening out. Mini Cachapas were up next - little pieces of SWEET corn, white cheese on top, and I could have had more of these. The mandocas (handcuffs) of sweet plantain were tasty as well, though I think sweet plantain based dishes are usually a little softer. The platter also came with shredded white cheese and nata (sour cream). The tequenos were why this isn't a five star review...not for a particular reason, just not my taste. Maybe because I'm not a huge cheese fan.. Decor is bright and casual, perfect for late night grub. The staff is friendly, and did I mention the house / EDM soundtrack?

Niki G.

Yelp
This is our favorite cheat day spot. While they do have healthy options, it is undoubtedly an amazing place to order from when you just want comfort food. I have tried every Venezuelan place in the brickell/downtown area, and I can say Budare has the BEST Cachapa. Their customer service is great, the food is consistently high quality, and you get to support a small business. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
This is a great place to get a pretty good arepa in the middle of the night. Midnight munchies? Long night out? Jet lagged? Their hours are great for that late night hunger. I only give it three stars because it's good but nothing that would "wow" you. It's simply the better alternative to a fast food joint. The service can be slow and the place is packed at 5 AM but you still receive your meal somewhat promptly and it won't break the bank. One arepa, after tip, comes out to $10. Food wise and taking the situation into consideration, this place is a 4 stars from me, but I would think much differently for a lunch or dinner, which is why I knocked a star off. But this has come to be one of my favorite "after a night out" move. PS: They have a good parking situation because they have their own lot, making it easily accessible. It's a small dining room and very casual.
google avatar

Yelp
I tried it as is a friend's favorite place. Not being Venezuelan myself I am honestly not a fan of the food at all. Things that make food taste better are salt, butter, frying. It's all of the above and not more than average. Food is pretty monotone. Great on social media pictures but below mediocre in real. Service was friendly (but some staff members only speak Spanish), and they have good opening hours.

Oriana M.

Yelp
The service is not excellent, but the food is amazing Venezuelan flavors inside and outside seating, food come out in good timing, the café con leche reminds me the one my abuelita did for me when I was a kid, give it a try

Yelp
I have been to this spot around three times. This is one of my favorite authentic Venezuelan food spots. There is a good variety on the menu and they even have the famous Venezuelan chicha, a rice based drink (oh the memories) My husband ordered the shredded beef pepito with fries, and I ordered the Arepa pelua which comes with shredded beef and Gouda cheese. Needless to say the meat tastes fresh and it is well seasoned. We also ordered a side of tequeños that were pretty good. I would say my only complaint (and this may not be the restaurants fault) is that there is no parking, there are only a couple of spots and it gets packed, so you either have to park in the street or wait for someone to leave. Overall we had great food and great service
google avatar

Ruby R.

Yelp
Saw this spot covered on a YouTube channel while looking for spots to try in Miami. Did not disappoint! The mini arepas were perfect to try their selections. Their hot sauce was so good I wanted to take the bottle home haha. My bf had the platter with the steak, chicken and sausage with fries and he absolutely loved it. Cool little spot to check out for a late night eat!

Yelp
Good food for a decent price, but first a word of warning. The times posted on yelp do not accurately represent the times that the place is open. As they open Friday and Saturday until 6 AM of the day after. Now that the times, are settled lets dive into the experience. This restaurant has a small parking lot outside so parking was not an issue for us. After you walk in the place is small, it has some tables outside, and a few others inside. But once we sat down, the server was very quick to offers us the menu and take our order. Most menu items are around $10, and each dish is a decent portion. As for the food itself, it is a good representation of Venezuelan food. Overall, I could recommend this place for someone wanting to have a late snack.
