Yelp
First off, this place is an absolute gem. The decor was modern and actually quite nice. When we walked in, it was pretty busy, but the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. There were five of us, so we went with a family-style dinner, which was the perfect way to try a little bit of everything.
Appetizers
We started with crispy pork belly, deep-fried potstickers, crispy rolls, and plum shrimp. The crispy pork belly lived up to its name--perfectly crispy and served over a sweet, savory, and slightly sour vinegar sauce with raw onions. It was amazing. (Spoiler alert: everything was amazing, so I'll spare the excessive praise moving forward.)
The deep-fried potstickers were packed with flavor and well-balanced, and while I didn't try the crispy rolls, everyone else at the table raved about them. Their Thai sweet chili sauce was a standout--definitely not the generic bottled kind. It had a much livelier, more complex flavor.
The plum shrimp was fried to perfection--light, crispy, and paired with a perfectly sweet plum sauce that complemented the savory shrimp beautifully.
Main Dishes
For our mains, we ordered Peanut Bomb, Pad See Ew, Crispy Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad Thai.
The Pad See Ew had a deep, well-balanced flavor with the perfect mix of sweet and savory. One of the best I've had in a long time--a real standout.
The Crispy Chicken Fried Rice was hands down my favorite. The chicken was fried in a deliciously crispy batter and served over an incredibly flavorful fried rice. At first glance, it looked like simple egg fried rice, but it was anything but basic. Honestly, one of the best fried rice dishes I've had in a while.
The Peanut Bomb was exactly what I expected--rich, peanut-forward, but not overpowering. A solid dish.
Now, the Pad Thai was the only miss for me. The flavor was great, but it was way too sweet for my taste. I'm pretty sure if they dialed back the sugar, it would be fantastic. Next time, I'll mention it and see if they can adjust it because I know it has the potential to be stellar.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this was an incredible experience, and I'll absolutely be back--again and again. If you love Thai food or are trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. Honestly, it might just ruin other Thai food experiences for you because it's that good.
