I pay to enjoy an evening out, not to be rushed by people who want to go home instead of work. The food is creative, not just the usual Thai, and I wish I could have enjoyed it without being rushed by staff trying to take my food away and giving me the bill before I was done eating. The atmosphere is casual and all the customers were seated on one side of the restaurant because the staff was cleaning the other side in an effort to leave fast. Seeing how eager the employees were to get me out, I wonder why they run a restaurant instead of a bank, they clearly don’t want me here and I AM NEVER COMING BACK. Next time I can go to McD’s if I want to feel rushed out. Attached is a picture of the food I took home to finish eating in peace after I was rushed to leave the restaurant.

I came to this restaurant based on the reviews and tried the Crispy Citrus Chicken Fried Rice, which was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would love to return another time to try more of their dishes.

I came in on the last day of Vacaville’s Restaurant Week for their special offering: Sautéed Crispy Pork Belly w/ spicy garlic sauce, rice, fried egg and Thai iced tea for $14. Buddha Thai Bistro (Vacaville Commons Shopping Center) is a sister restaurant to Rice Barn Thai Eatery & Bar (Browns Valley Marketplace). Both restaurants have many of the similar menu items. You can see the same staffs that float between the 2 restaurants. Their food is consistently good and the staff are always nice and helpful. If you like strong Thai flavors, then come and give them a try. You can hear people talking that are regular customers which is a good sign!

Google
It was a very friendly restaurant, the Thai food is quite quality. The location and environment is very nice. Food tastes are suitable for people of all regions and the food portion is big. Thai ice coffee also very nice, sweet is just nice, I like it very much. The food is suite to the price, inexpensive.

Google
My son and I popped in for a "snack" (I wasn't really hungry, but he wanted to stop in.). On a side note, I feel like they are related to the Rice Barn across the freeway. There are a lot of similarities. Both share the distinction of preparing incredible food and also nationally rated as so. This is a place you have to experience for yourself it's on another level. Taste and textures.

We were in town for a few days and tried this place for dinner. The food, portions, and service was worth every bit. I’ve eaten at quite a few Thai restaurants, but this one exceeded my expectations. We ordered the crispy pork belly, chicken Penang curry, and prawn pad Thai. All were delicious!!

Google
Probably the best thai spot in Vacaville! Authentic thai spot and super delicious. The service is also fantastic! I recommend trying the drunken man noodles and the mango sticky rice. I gave the crispy pork belly a try but I wasn't a fan unfortunately. Anyways, I know I'll be coming back here in the future! 😁

Google
Great food good service terrific atmosphere. The Staples that you'll find it every Thai restaurant are fantastic here, but one of the best parts are the more traditional Thai dishes that you don't find that many American Thai restaurants. Don't get me wrong they're pad Thai and their green courier on point, to try some of the other dishes - they're even better.

Yelp
We have visited this restaurant while in Vacaville visiting on different occasions, and each visit has been consistent with good food and service. I like this place so much that we decided to lose her two weeks apart. My first visit was a dine in experience. We came in about 20 minutes part of them taking the last order. They said our group of six fairly quickly, in sync brought drinks and took our orders. Asa table shareable we ordered fried calamari which was nice and crispy but not over done. On that particular occasion I ordered the seafood soup. It was full of shrimp, muscles, calamari, and plenty of noodles. Even though it was a hot summer day, the broth was absolutely amazing! I've had broth that was so salty you need a gallon of water to drink afterwards, Buddha Thai bistros was nothing like this! However, to stay cool after the soup, I enjoyed just a bit of their Thai Iced tea! On my return visit, we decided to do a to go order. This time around I ordered the Rad Nar and Thai Ice tea. As we sat waiting for our order, we were offered ice water and a seat while we waited. We put in a fairly large order and waited only about 15 to 20 minutes in that time. We also had a nice conversation about visiting Thailand with one of the employees, which made me even more excited about the food lol! Anytime we visit Vacaville in the future, this spot will definitely be a top place. I'd like to come back to. What I felt dimension earlier in the review was that all of the entrées are quite large, enough to probably feed 2 to 3 people! Again, great customer service, clean, restaurants, and delicious food! Unfortunately, no pictures to share this time around since we devoured it almost immediately!

Yelp
My sibling was in Vacaville and I thought maybe she could buy takeout for dinner. Looked up the category of Thai and this restaurant appeared with high ratings. Instead of ordering by phone, I ordered using the online method instead. I normally do not give out 3 stars but the food was just not there for me, takeout wise. 2 out of 3 items I ordered was sweet even though one of the food was supposed to be sour. Let's break it down: Tom Yum Seafood, spicy level. I normally do not buy this cause I can make this at home but I thought, why not. I was craving for soup. It came in a plastic container to hold the soup and the noodles were in a Chinese takeout box. Note to self, always microwave the noodles first before putting it in broth. Anyways, as I took a sip of the broth, it was sweet and not sour. I added in chili oil and siracha but it was still sweet. I thought something must be wrong with my tastebuds so I had my sister and my partner tasted and they both agreed it was sweet! My partner is mixed with Thai blood so he knows a good Tom Yum and this was not it. I did not finish the rest cause I know the next day it won't be as good due to the noodles soaking into the broth. Pad Thai, Thai Spicy. As I opened the box, the color of the Pad Thai was off cause it looked like it was not covered in peanut sauce all the way. As I continue to mix from one corner to the next, that was when I noticed the sauce. I got excited cause I like Pad Thai! They did not hold back on the spice! However, taste wise, again, it was sweet?! XD Lol! I was not sure what was going on so I took a bite from the Pad See You and that was probably the best dish out of the 3 I ordered. Pad See You, Thai Spicy with duck (+$6 charge) and mushrooms (+2). I hope to at least get more mushrooms but they were skimpy on the mushrooms...the flavor on this was savory , soy sauce-y, and spicy. Def better and overall a winning dish. Since I ordered for takeout, I was not able to experience dinning in and soaking in the ambiance but from the photos, looks like a nice place to dine. Overall, i wouldnt give this place 3 stars but more like 3.8?? Portions are huge so that's a plus. But as for the 2 dishes, it was just sweet in my opinion.

Yelp
Mom was looking for a new place to try in the area, as we were meeting some friends for lunch. Thanks once again to our fellow yelpers for directing us to this delicious establishment!! We arrived around 11:30am with a party of 5. Located in a strip mall- The restaurant is non de script from the outside, and welcoming on the inside. They saw us walk in, and before we could even say anything they were pushing two tables to make it comfortable. Our waitress was great! I asked for her recommendation between a couple dishes and she didn't steer me wrong! Now on to the food! What we had: Amber Lamb curry - mom ordered this- so good! this was bright and flavorful. Only thing that could have improved on this is if the cut the lamb up a bit smaller to make it easier to eat. We added a side of steamed rice to eat it with. Udon Duck- also delish! A little bit spicy, but not over the top. It was really good! I only wish it had more duck because YUM! Crab Rangoons- one friend ordered as their entree, and was very happy with them. I tried one and it was great! Lots of filling bursting out when you bit in (unlike some places that have barely anything inside). Deep fried pot stickers- another friend had this as their entree. I didn't get to try these, they cleaned their plate - so i take that as a good sign. She is a very picky eater that doesn't eat much, so this says a lot! Eggplant lunch special- i didn't get a pic or a taste of this one. Last friend in the group ordered this. She said she enjoyed it. Roti- i wanted this to dip in the curry sauce from mom's lamb curry. Was tasty - similar to roti i have had elsewhere. All in all it was a fab experience! Looking forward to going back and trying the other dishes I was eyeing.

Yelp
Budha Thai Bistro is one of my favorite Thai resto. My daughter and I come here quite often, and the food never disappoints. We've tried their House Fried Rice, Pad Thai, and Cashew Nut. All of them were really good. The flavors are great, and the portions are generous, definitely enough to share or take home leftovers. It can get a bit busy, especially on weekends, but it's worth the wait. Highly recommend if you're craving good Thai food.

Yelp
Buddha Thai serves up some pretty yummy flavorful and huge portioned Thai food in a spacious dining room. Location is in a big plaza with ample free parking. Some food faves: -crispy chicken with fried rice -pad see ew -peanut curry -eggplant chicken -pineapple fried rice They have more vegan curry options than other Thai places and hubz appreciates that. The servers are usually nice and prompt but we came with a big party on Father's Day and they were a bit flustered because it was super busy. We ended missing some items and getting double of others. Overall it worked out- Thai leftovers are always welcome. I'd recommend they increase the AC on hot days because you can really feel the heat near the window.

Yelp
Always such a great experience when we've come here, not only for dinner but celebrating a special event. The service is always top notch! Of course the food is very delicious and the portions are more than satisfying! The restaurant itself provides ample seating as it's a vey good size. We celebrated my daughter's birthday with a party of 60 and there was still plenty of space throughout the restaurant for regular seating! Our favorite dishes are the eggplant tofu and of course our ultimate #1 is the crispy chicken fried rice!!! Yummy!

Yelp
This came up under vegan friendly restaurants in Vacaville so thought I'd try it ! Large open dining room clean & neat w/ lots of waitstaff wearing colorful floral shirts w/ those fun but comfy looking puffy satin pants. The dish has many assorted veggies including beansprouts w/fresh tofu in small cubes !! The chili sauce is not very thick or red but pretty spicy ( they didn't ask how spicy I wanted it ) Everyone is so pleasant & polite!! By 6:30 the place was packed !! The stirfry was tasty & very veggiful but full of onions, green & white, the cabbage was cut so large it was hard to eat w/ chopsticks & the dish was a bit spicy for me !! I probably should have ordered rice but I'll take my leftovers home to eat w/some rice ! Tasty but not exceptional ...

Yelp
I met a friend here for lunch, and I was looking for a restaurant with a lot of vegetarian options and this place fit the bill. We ordered Thai basil and pad Thai both with tofu. Even though the food tasted decent it didn't taste like Thai food. The pad Thai had a sweet and sour sauce instead of a peanut sauce. The Thai basil was ok definitely could have used more seasoning. They did have a diverse drink menu and offered lunch specials. Service was good but be aware that they close between lunch and dinner. We had a late lunch so it was a bit awkward when they were trying to close up. The inside is very large and can accommodate large parties. Overall glad a tried a new spot but it wasn't exactly I was looking for.

Yelp
I haven't been to Buddha Thai in awhile and I remember this place being me and my family's favorite Thai spot! I still remember Andy, the chef, and my family and I started coming here because he used to work at Chaam in Vallejo. I was really happy to see that the place expanded! The inside is huge and there's a ton of seating. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night, and they have music playing but it's not too loud. The service was also really good and our waitress, Ann, was very kind. I asked if they had Roti curry, and she made a special order for my mom and I, since it wasn't on the menu. What we ordered: Roti curry, of course: 5/5! I love the fried pancake kind of texture with the curry sauce!! It's soooo good, I highly recommend asking if they have it! Pad thai with fried tofu: 4/5! Really good, perfect amount of tangy-ness. However, I asked for a little spicy and it wasn't spicy at all. Tom Kha with chicken: 4/5! The broth and veggies were really tasty and fresh. We did have to ask for more soup though, because when it came out there wasn't enough soup. Eggplant S'lou... something lol with beef: 3/5. The eggplant and flavor of the whole dish was DELICIOUS. However, the beef was super tough and not tender enough. My mom and I were chewing forever lol. Mango Nata: 5/5!! I missed this drink so much. I used to always order it whenever I would come here. This place is solid and satisfied my craving for Thai food. I'm happy to see this business thriving and hope to be back soon when I'm in the area!

Yelp
I came here after an awful experience at another Thai place in the area. And I am so glad I did. The service here is amazing. The wait staff came around several times to get us water and make sure we were satisfied. The food is really good as well. There were a lot of families in here and I noticed the wait staff even being kind and friendly to the children. I would strongly recommend this place.

Yelp
Buddha Thai bistro is decent. It's the sister restaurant of rice barn and the original from the two so I wanted to try it out. I joined my family's big party of 9 late so I unfortunately did not take any photos. I tried the tom yum, pad Thai, fried rice, beef pad see ew, pumpkin curry, cream cheese rangoons, calamari, veggie spring rolls, and mango sticky rice. Nothing really stood out. My critique is that the mango sticky rice was a small portion and that they used red mango as opposed to sweet yellow mango. I think because of our large party and large order, they gave us complimentary dessert- fried egg roll with banana and ice cream. I liked that they cleaned up our plates often. I also enjoyed that the space is more accommodating for larger parties compared to rice barn.
google avatar

Anna T.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and had a great experience all around. Staff were very attentive and the restaurant ambience was welcoming and clean. The yellow curry was so flavorful. I tend to go for red or green for more of a punch but my friend is a big fan of yellow. I enjoyed it a lot. Not a watery curry at all. And with adding some Thai chilis it was perfect. The pad see ew was fresh and flavorful. The dishes together were great.

Yelp
Food was fresh and tasty. Prices are decent since you'll be taking half it home. Food portions are large. Shareable for sure. Service was excellent. Ambiance is nice. I noticed the kids meal is super cute because it comes with an interesting surprise. I would return. Got the tofu eggplant with basil. Vegetables were so flavorful. My son got the duck fried rice.

Yelp
One of our top five places in Vacaville. Anytime we can't decide on dinner this is where we go. Our go to is fresh rolls followed by pumpkin curry! End the meal with mango sticky rice those are the favs but we have not had a bad meal. They are always kind and fast. We bring visitors here every time!

Yelp
Great lunch spot - I've been to Rice Barn many times but first time at Buddha Thai (same owners I've heard). They had a great menu and delicious food. I ordered the cashew chicken lunch item and had a bit leftover with a very satisfied stomach. We all got lunch specials, and were all happy with the order. Thinking next time I'll have to try out their noodle dishes! Service was great. We got seating immediately and food was pretty quick. Was not too loud, and started to get busy when we left - glad we came at 11:30!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here tonight after visiting the outlets. First time! Definitely worth it! When we came in it was busy. . They had a table next to the door available, I had asked if we could have one of the tables they were going to clean closer inside because it was so cold outside. Drinks: Lychee ice tea - I could definitely drink more than one of these! Mango ice tea- not a big mango drink fan but this was good. Appetizer: Fresh spring rolls. They are definitely fresh. The peanut sauce was good as well. I was not a fan of the sweet sauce. Dinner: Pad see you with beef. This had great flavor good portion. Had to take the rest home. I usually get pad Thai but I wanted to try something different. The pad Thai portion I saw on others plate were pretty big. Salt and pepper pork belly. This was really good the pork belly was crispy and flavorful. Egg fried rice: Everything was delicious and good portions. We could not finish everything and had to take it home. I really wanted to try the different desserts but we were so full. Next time we will come for the desserts! I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Wow! This place is popping. We got lucky and arrived just before the dinner rush on a Saturday evening. The good was delish. Love that they offer brown rice also. Ask for the spice rack if you want it SPICY. Hubby asked for "Thai hot" and had to still spice it up. The food was great. The eggplant was sautéed just right. Both dishes offered great flavor and good portion sizes. Not pictured was our appetizer from chef special - SUKUMVIT POT STICKER - steamed dumplings. So good I forgot to take a pic. The service was amazing. I can't wait to go back! So many things to try!

Yelp
yes, wow! This restaurant is a hidden gem. I love that Buddha Thai bistro is so close to home because their food is so delicious. The food is quite similar to my other favorite thai restaurant nearby, I almost thought they have the same owner. The food is definitely comparable. The service is excellent. Everyone was very attentive. I would highly recommend the pad Thai, yellow chicken and egg fried rice. My one year old LOVED the fried rice. Overall, a great restaurant, too eat casually with your family.

Yelp
came here because of how good the reviews were, and trust me when i say this... the reviews were NOT lying. the food was so flavorful and the service was amazing. the roti was super crispy and the curry was so good, we brought the leftovers home to use over rice. the only thing is that the curry is more runny compared to what i'm used to. the pad thai was packed with flavor and the noodles were chewy which was the perfect consistency. beef was slightly tough, but still tasted delicious nonetheless. prices were reasonable given the sizes. definitely coming back and trying other dishes (their pork belly looked really good!) ordered: roti with curry pad thai with beef

Yelp
My husband and I love coming here when we are in the area and are craving Thai food. They expanded their restaurant and remodeled it a while back and it looks so much better. It's bigger and more spacious. Doesn't feel overcrowded like it used to. Service is always great. They were attentive and very sweet. Our food came out pretty fast too. Oh and the portion size is huge. Each plate is enough for 2 people. Everything was delicious as always. We got the crispy pork belly, papaya and Pad Thai. The crispy pork belly was nice and crispy and wasn't over cooked or dry at all. It sits on top of a sweet soy sauce base which pairs perfectly with the pork belly. The papaya was crunchy and refreshing with flavors of sweet and sour. We got ours medium spicy so it was delicious. Also got the Chicken Pad Thai w/shrimp medium spicy also. The chicken wasn't dry at all and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The spice was a perfect addiction to the dish. Sour, sweet, spicy and savory.

Yelp
Bua Thai was fantastic! The ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. Everything was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back

Yelp
I love this place so much... I took my 102 yr old granny here today and we had a delicious meal! The red sauce pot stickers were amazing highly recommended! I usually get the red curry but today I tried the peanut bomb and both my grams and I enjoyed it a lot! She got an eggplant s'il vous plait that was delicious and had hints of anise in it... very good all the way around ! The service was a little slower than usual but they were also busy. The restaurant was clean per usual and just an all around nice night.
google avatar

Yelp
The portions were on the larger size, so you can get more bang for your buck and the food all tasted amazing! As someone who often eats the Chinese version of crispy pork at home, I really liked the way they cooked their crispy pork and the texture was amazing. The onion rings in the center of the volcano beef dish were cooked so well and were so delicious. I also loved the interior design and all the mirrors that made the room feel so spacious.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Buddha Thai Bistro for dinner for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was the best Thai food we've had. The crispy chicken fried rice is our favorite paired with the crispy pork belly and thai iced tea to drink. The servings are huge and shareable! We got seated right away and the staff were super nice and friendly. We've brought both parents here and they also loved it. 10/10 would go again!

Yelp
Probably the best thai spot in Vacaville! Authentic thai spot and super delicious. The service is also fantastic! I recommend trying the drunken man noodles and the mango sticky rice. I gave the crispy pork belly a try but I wasn't a fan unfortunately. Anyways, I know I'll be coming back here in the future!

Yelp
Staff welcomed us in and sat us down promptly (party of 2) for lunch. We ordered a pad Thai to share and it was absolutely delicious. The amount was plentiful and we barely finished the dish. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Always wonderful. Love their food. Never had anything here I didn't like. Always a go to place when we can't decide where to eat. Staff are friendly and on top of everything.

Yelp
Phenomenal. The food was absolutely top tier here!! We ordered the crispy pork belly, pad thai, pad see eew, volcano beef, and yellow curry. Service was amazing (waiters checking in on us and kindly helping us out) and portion sizes were HUGE. Crispy pork belly-- 4/5: Fried to perfection! In a sweet sauce garnished with onions. A great crispy appetizer. Pad Thai-- 5/5: Normally, I like pad thai, but would probably order pad see eew or drunken noodles over it. However, this is probably one of the best pad thai dishes I've ever had!! The flavors were well balanced and pronounced. Pad See Eew-- 4.5/5: a must order for me whenever I order Thai food! Silky, flavorful, so delicious. Yellow Curry-- 4/5: Curry didn't come with rice, so we had to order it on the side. This was lovely, great curry flavor paired with coconuty flavor. Lots of veggies and meat in it-- they don't skimp! Volcano Beef-- 4.5/5: Ordered this for fun since we were curious what this dish was. Ended up being amazed and a centerpiece for our meal, a couple of fried onion rings stacked on a bed of sweet and savory meat/veggies. So flavorful, and the fried onion was so light and airy. Would def order again!

Yelp
First off, this place is an absolute gem. The decor was modern and actually quite nice. When we walked in, it was pretty busy, but the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. There were five of us, so we went with a family-style dinner, which was the perfect way to try a little bit of everything. Appetizers We started with crispy pork belly, deep-fried potstickers, crispy rolls, and plum shrimp. The crispy pork belly lived up to its name--perfectly crispy and served over a sweet, savory, and slightly sour vinegar sauce with raw onions. It was amazing. (Spoiler alert: everything was amazing, so I'll spare the excessive praise moving forward.) The deep-fried potstickers were packed with flavor and well-balanced, and while I didn't try the crispy rolls, everyone else at the table raved about them. Their Thai sweet chili sauce was a standout--definitely not the generic bottled kind. It had a much livelier, more complex flavor. The plum shrimp was fried to perfection--light, crispy, and paired with a perfectly sweet plum sauce that complemented the savory shrimp beautifully. Main Dishes For our mains, we ordered Peanut Bomb, Pad See Ew, Crispy Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad Thai. The Pad See Ew had a deep, well-balanced flavor with the perfect mix of sweet and savory. One of the best I've had in a long time--a real standout. The Crispy Chicken Fried Rice was hands down my favorite. The chicken was fried in a deliciously crispy batter and served over an incredibly flavorful fried rice. At first glance, it looked like simple egg fried rice, but it was anything but basic. Honestly, one of the best fried rice dishes I've had in a while. The Peanut Bomb was exactly what I expected--rich, peanut-forward, but not overpowering. A solid dish. Now, the Pad Thai was the only miss for me. The flavor was great, but it was way too sweet for my taste. I'm pretty sure if they dialed back the sugar, it would be fantastic. Next time, I'll mention it and see if they can adjust it because I know it has the potential to be stellar. Final Thoughts Overall, this was an incredible experience, and I'll absolutely be back--again and again. If you love Thai food or are trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. Honestly, it might just ruin other Thai food experiences for you because it's that good.

Yelp
They just kick my favorite pad see ew from Renu Nakorn. Very tasty. Crispy chicken fried rice, indeed crispy.. Great service. Ambiance is nice too.

Yelp
Used to love coming here when I was in college. However, recently was served undercooked shrimp, sent it back. They were against the idea of getting a refund on the dish, so had to get the dish remade to-go. Server came back and said next time we want to order shrimp, we have to ask for it to be well done. Edit: just opened the to-go order they "remade", looks like it was the leftover portion we sent back.. nice

Yelp
Thai is my favorite cuisine, and I've visited Thailand multiple times. So, I have a good judgment of good Thai food. I decided to try this place since we were shopping at the Outlets nearby. I ordered the crispy pork belly, pumpkin curry, and pad thai. The crispy pork belly was good, but nothing extraordinary. The pumpkin from the pumpkin curry had a sour taste like it was bad. I love pumpkins, so I always order them when I see them on the menu. So I was extremely disappointed and ate everything besides the pumpkin. The curry flavor of the dish was also underwhelming. It needed a lot more curry paste. The pad thai flavor was okay, but what made it worse was it was undercooked, so it was chewy. Pad thai noodles should not be Al dente. The ambiance was nice, but I won't be coming back. You can't mess up on basic dishes.

Yelp
TOP 5 favorite Thai place of mine! Food: 10/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Food is always cooked to perfection. If you come with a big group and share appetizers just make sure to be ask the quantity. Some appetizers have less food than you think, for example, the veggie rolls only have 4. The calamari and pot stickers are my favorite appetizers. Drunken noodles are packed with flavor. If you don't like your noodles spicy just ask for less spice. Crispy chicken fried rice is the bomb! Must try Thai in Vacaville!

Yelp
What we got Starters We kicked things off with the Calamari and Chicken Satay - crispy, flavorful, and perfectly light yet satisfying. Drinks The Thai Tea and Mango-Nata (mango Thai soda) were incredible. The mango soda tasted like fresh mango - easily the best I've ever had. This was my husband's first time trying that tea and he said he wasn't as bad as he thought it would be he's not a milk tea guy or any tea at all guy. But I loved it. Mango Curry The sweet mango perfectly complemented the rich curry. Even my husband, who wasn't excited about it at first, couldn't stop eating it! He said this was his second favorite dish that day. Udon Drunken Noodles Andy, the owner, recommended the udon drunken noodles, and I'm so glad I listened! The thicker noodles took this bold, spicy dish to the next level. Hands down the best drunken noodles I've ever had. My husband keeps stealing bites now! This is my husband's #1 favorite dish. Crispy Citrus Chicken Fried Rice Bright, tangy, and perfectly crispy - this dish is a family favorite. A must-try for sure! Our teens loves this chicken. She sometimes orders this alone as she doesn't like fried rice, she's a plain white rice kinda girl. A Bonus Tip The owners of Buddha Thai also run Rice Barn Eatery & Wine Bar, offering dishes from a different region of Thailand. It's next on our list for some amazing Thai food and wine pairings. Can't wait to explore! Buddha Thai Bistro is 100% worth the visit. Amazing food, great service, and unforgettable flavors.

Yelp
Overall very good experience in terms of being attentive , filling our water glasses asking if we needed anything . Staff is pretty attentive, spacious and they are busy . Got there earlier than 11:30am opening Sunday morning and thinking oh we got time let's visit the awesome store Hallmark . Stepped out and walked to the restaurant and majority of the tables were occupied by customers . I will bring my mom to try this place as well. As we have a regular place in Alameda where we get good Thai food.

Yelp
Great Thai Cuisine [Vacaville CA] First time at this restaurant. After our arrival in SFO from Manila we had a tough travel back to Sac as it was traffic all the way so we decided to stop in Vacaville for dinner before continuing on home... My sister recommended this Thai restaurant and, well, it didn't disappoint. We ordered the following: Deep Fried Pot Sticker Fresh Rolls Drunken Man Noodles w/ Fried Tofu Chicken Satay Crispy Citrus Chicken Fried Rice Mango w/ Sticky Rice Fried Banana w/ ice cream Lemonade Thai Iced Tea My sister did all the ordering. This was where my hubby had his first taste of the Drunken Man Noodles w/ Fried Tofu and he loved it so when we try a new Thai place elsewhere that's what he gets all the time LoL! As for me I enjoyed the Crispy Citrus Chicken Fried Rice. Savory and delicious! The Mango w/ Sticky Rice is always my favorite dessert when available (I say this because sometimes they run out of mangoes). Service was top notch. Great, friendly servers. We will be making a pit stop here when we make a trip to San Francisco next time (or coming back). Review #3386

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance is always great and quaint at Buddha Thai. Celebrating my birthday, I opted to try something new. The Spicy Basil Duck Fried Rice. When I tell you this dish has so many flavor components that complimented each ingredient perfectly, evert bite was amazing. The Duck was crispy on the outside, the skin fried perfectly. The juicy duck on the inside was heavenly, with so much flavor. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice that is delicious on its own, allows the juices from the duck to soak into the rice as it sits on top of a nice portion. Two Thai Iced Teas to take me home, and the mission was complete. Started my new chapter with a great dinner. And a new dish to ponder over! I will be back very soon!

Yelp
The customer service is really nice. They have a nice ambience. Everything looks clean and new. The price is also great and the portions are huge definitely tons of Thai flavors. They have a pretty nice menu. Definitely need to come back and try more if you guys are in the area, please try this place, there are not a lot of places here so this should be for anyone who wants Thai food

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my mom and husband for my first time! I was aware that this place was a sister restaurant to Rice Barn so I already had a feeling I was in for a treat. It was nice to be able to go for lunch because their lunch menu had more than enough choices and decently priced. I ordered a pad thai with beef, my mom ordered the peanut curry, and my husband ordered the red curry. We also ordered crispy fried tofu appetizer and a couple of Thai tea drinks! The food came out pretty quick considering it was lunch time. My mom and husband both loved their curries. As for me, I wasn't a big fan of the pad thai only because I feel like I've had better pad thai somewhere else but it was still pretty good! My mom also wasn't a big fan of the fried tofu sauce since it was more liquidy rather than sticky for the sauce to stick on the tofu for taste. Other than that, I think next time I come back I will probably order my usual crispy citrus chicken fried rice (it never disappoints!) or event try something new on the menu.

Yelp
Satisfied my Thai cravings! We knew that we were going to have a hard time finding good Asian food after moving to this area. We decided to try this place out because it had really good reviews. And rightfully so because their food was bussin! We got the beef pad see you and chicken green curry to go. The curry was a little watery but still tasted very good. I would definitely come back to this place and hopefully dine in one day. I wonder if our curry got watery because we didn't let it air out right away. But it was still so so good! I noticed too that there weren't a lot of people during dinner time, so it'll probably be easy to get seated right away.

Yelp
Right next to EV chargers - I was pleasantly surprised by how packed this restaurant was at off hours. We got the 1) pad see you 2) shrimp papaya salad, 3) chicken satay, and get ready for it 4) a kids meal with sides served in a large dinosaur serving container. Not pictured since my kid was in the picture. The taste and freshness was excellent. I can't wait to come back in future road trip years.

Yelp
We stopped by Vacaville on the way home from Mt Shasta, and was craving Asian food, even though we cooked Asian food the entire week inside our cabin, because we had Yaks before this meal. We got drunken noodles and eggplant stir fry. I think I'm too spoiled by the Thai food in south bay, and may have been in a crummy mood from the lack of AC. But these dishes didn't really have spice or flavor. Next time I would just drive through and eat late back at home.
