"This tiny new bar in The Arcade is a slice of old-school Americana, and it reminds us of what Downtown Nashville was like before it became a theme park parody of itself. Afternoons and evenings should be whiled away here listening to steel guitars on the stereo and knocking back beers and bourbon. There are actual peanuts at the bottom of the Jack and Cokes, six packs of High Life ponies, and tiny bottled Negronis you can drink at the bar or take with you for later. Whatever you’re drinking, order a “Slutty Joe” to go with it. The extra saucy beef mixture, topped with melted cheddar and a tomatillo salsa, is messier than a celebrity divorce without a prenup and tastes like a frito pie minus the crunch." - Ann Walczak

We found a gem in this place. Great music, fun atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, darts, and other bar games. The different bartenders we have had this week have all been top notch. This place is our vibe much more than all the chaos on Broadway.

From the moment I stepped inside, the vibe was electric — the live music pulsed with authenticity, the song selection felt curated to tell Nashville’s story, and the staff made me feel like part of the family. The drinks were solid, service was fast without feeling rushed, and everything about the space — from the lighting to the sound — was done right. It’s fun, authentic, and a place where you can let loose, laugh, and soak up real Nashville culture. If you’re looking for a top-notch honky-tonk experience, Buddy’s Tiny Tonk is absolutely one of the best. Can’t wait to come back.
