We found a gem in this place. Great music, fun atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, darts, and other bar games. The different bartenders we have had this week have all been top notch. This place is our vibe much more than all the chaos on Broadway.

A breath of fresh air in downtown Nashville, a good escape from the tourist chaos and a spot where the locals actually hang! The Sloppy Joe will keep you alive just long enough to order that next round of shots for the boys. Arcade Alley has a bunch of cool sports opening in there too!

Buddy’s pays tribute and honors the history of what made the Nashville music scene great which was the musicians behind the scene. It’s a classic throwback bar that is ribboned with history, great music, cold beer, tasty drinks, and the best sloppy Joe in the business!

Buddy’s Tiny Tonk is absolutely everything I wanted in a new honky-tonk in downtown Nashville. From the moment I stepped inside, the vibe was electric — the live music pulsed with authenticity, the song selection felt curated to tell Nashville’s story, and the staff made me feel like part of the family. The drinks were solid, service was fast without feeling rushed, and everything about the space — from the lighting to the sound — was done right. It’s fun, authentic, and a place where you can let loose, laugh, and soak up real Nashville culture. If you’re looking for a top-notch honky-tonk experience, Buddy’s Tiny Tonk is absolutely one of the best. Can’t wait to come back.

If you find yourself wandering through Nashville's Arcade Alley, do yourself a favor and stop into Buddy's -- the kind of bar that feels like stumbling onto a local secret. First off, order the Dickel & Dew. Trust me. Mountain Dew mixed with George Dickel bourbon shouldn't work as well as it does, but Buddy's has perfected it. It's smooth, sweet, and just dangerous enough to remind you you're in Music City. The vibe? Pure old-school country. You'll hear classics rolling through the speakers--just the right mix of nostalgia and twang. It's the perfect soundtrack for unwinding after a long day or kicking off a night out downtown. And the FOOD... holy smokes. The Slutty Joe sloppy joes are the messy, delicious comfort food you didn't know you needed. Loaded, flavorful, and unapologetically sloppy -- exactly the way a Joe should be. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the whole place gives off that "everyone's welcome here" local bar energy. If you want a break from the overly polished spots and crave something real, flavorful, and full of character, Buddy's is your stop. I'll definitely be back for another Dickel & Dew.

Have to try out Buddys. Small cozy bar in Arcade alley away from all the mess of Broadway. Get the Mexican coke drink with peanuts. Oh the sloppy joe was fire also. Will be my local spot when going to a show downtown. The bartenders were super friendly also.
