This place is cool! The animals, they just kinda chill roam around. The Leopard Cat is so cute!!! They sell healing stuff, all kinds of cool stuff. The gentleman who talked to us was super nice & great to chat with. Will definitely be coming back for herbal stuff & to check out the animals again!!

A GENERAL STORE and MORE. I love this unique friendly place. From the parking area which you see 1st. There are picnic tables all around parking lot. Great for social distancing. And you get to see a huge exotic bird cage with happy nesting cooing birds and their eggs and a couple of baby kangaroos. An ice cream shop with many sweeties. Hot dogs, Cuban and Italian sandwiches, hot and cold drinks. Not your typical snack bar, but much better. lovely outdoor seating for Larger parties. And yes you can rent area for parties. Exotic wares from far away places are fun to check out or take home. So eclectic you must see yourself. Jack and Diane are so friendly and warm and make your visit a memorable time. Hours 11-7. Open all days except Monday.

Do NOT GO HERE!!! We went to check it out and ended up buying a Yara Lattafa perfume, they charged $70 DOLLARS, later we checked on amazon and walmart and on both websites they were only $22. The workers at this place told us they would give us 10% off because the perfume was used and still charged us $70 which was MORE than what the price said on the bottle. The whole time we were buying the perfume they had this PURE EVIL smirk on their face like they knew what they were doing wrong and they were happy about charging us 50 DOLLARS MORE than the original price. Do NOT go to this place these evil people are scammers.

Owner is the best I bought some jewelry from here such great quality and I always get compliments The food is so good and all the animals are a plus Great for pictures with the kids

My daughter and her friend who are both high school students went here for ice cream and the guy who works there told my daughter that the ice cream was $1,200 or she could leave her friend. Who tells this to two high school girls very inappropriate . This place is shady if you are a female don’t go here alone. Caution.

I can't even begin to tell you why I have never stopped by before living only 3 minutes away. But it is a really awesome place. They have baby Joey's and Chinese pheasants and beautiful items inside the store. Stop by and check it out.. Highly recommended..

Wonderfully oddball fusion of the Texas hill country and 1950s Acuña. Brilliant ceramic lizards, great horned owl decoys, Mexican remedies y CocaCola grandes, honey, ice cream, sculptures, Baby Percy Medicine; stuff everywhere. Not boring. Jack and Diana are helpful and gracious. I unloaded $75 and left with a big smile.

Highly recommend this establishment! So much to look at, so much to buy! So much yummy taste things to eat! And Jack is the best host ever fully knowledgeable and extremely courteous!

My first time visiting Buenas Ideas today after driving past it many times. It's a super cute store. Very well organized and clean with a great variety of products to choose from including pottery, clothes, jewelry, medicines and more. They even have ice cream, I'd like to try some time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's worth a stop.

Over priced almost every item from pots to other items, shirts, hats, jewelry etc. Ice cream is the hook ,picturesque grounds and a friendly atmosphere. Homeopathic natural packets available. Worth stopping for pictures and browsing through the store and look for a treasure. We did not eat there but there are a good selection of ice cream.

This is a small shop but a huge wonder and find! I would pass it on my way home now for a year but never had time to stop until this weekend. The shop owner was sincerely happy to see us and showed us around the shop. The most amazing thing is the restaurant! Wow, wow, wow! We got a banana split and it was beyond amazing. The ice cream was quality. We also got nachos and corn in a cup. This is now one of my favorite places to eat. I cannot wait to show my visiting family and friends. I highly recommend this place to visit. You will not regret it.

Super cute little place. Would be nice to take your kids to. If we get our grands out this way will take them for sure. We each had an ice cream cone. Hubby got a double as its fathers day! Friendly staff, nice little gift shop. Next time we will try a sandwich.

Super cute shop, has some tejano decor, jewelry, Mexican furniture, rodeo clothing and yummy snacks, ice cream and Mexican corn, etc. Is a super friendly family shop

We found this place by chance and it's a nice little place. Has ice cream, frito pie, clothes, jewelry. They truly have a little bit of everything. Worth a stop. We ended up falling in love with a mesquite rocker and took it home with us.
