Google
Best coffee shop in Chicago for many reasons, but I ask you to go for yourself to see why. I’m blessed to live a couple blocks away. Paloma is extremely kind, genuine and provides quality service. Kind community focused people. Much love always!

Google
Confleis and quiche combination was more than enough for a breakfast and americano was good. Very relaxed vibe and wasn't very crowded on a late Sunday morning. Must try!

I live in Pilsen but will take the 21 Cermak bus specifically to go to Buenos Days and Tamales Uruapan afterwards 🤗☕️🫔 At Bueno Days, they have a rotating menu of experimental drinks as well as core everyday menu items. I tend to get an iced latte and an experimental drink each time I go in - I can’t just choose one! My favorite so far has been the Confleis. It was the best drink I’ve ever had in my life and I need it to be around permanently 🤠 The hibiscus cold brew is also unexpected and delicious, I wish I tried it with some milk to make it a bit creamier (can run a bit acidic), but it was still fantastic. Please run don’t walk to Bueno Days and support this amazing business en La Villita 💕

This is such a unique spot. The set up is beautiful, inviting and gives a cozy feel. Great place to work or just vibe with a friend. I tried the Abrazos latte, it really does taste like a tortilla. The cinnamon bun muffin was ok, it was dry, the topping helped a but wouldn't get it again.

Google
A third space to call home. If you enjoy a drip that is deep in flavor and good caffeine kick you’ll be hard press to find a better one in the city. They also rotate experimental drinks which keeps me u fresh. Above all the friendly staff that welcomes and connects with friendliest of intent is refreshing and makes the space feel warm.

Google
Ridiculously great coffee shop. The interior is fantastic - it's a great place to hang in the local community. But, most importantly, the coffee and drinks are delicious. We tried quite a few of the specialty drinks and they were all so good. Easily one of the best coffee shops you could spend your time and money at in Chicago at the moment.

Google
This is where you need to be. Whether you need inspiration, a moment to connect with friends, or just a place to knock out your to-do list, look no further. The atmosphere is amazing. The coffee is even better. I tried the Arrozito Latte. I never knew I needed a savory coffee until now. Just stop by. I had to bring friends. They all loved.

Google
Wow super impressed with this cafe/exhibit combo. The Chili Con Leche is one of my favorite lattes in Chicago: spicy, creamy, savory and sweet - can’t beat it! They have great wares for sale and their bakery goods didn’t disappoint. We’re adding this place to our list of favorite coffee shops in Chicago ASAP

Yelp
Priced fairly, great coffee with innovative and unique variety of drinks. Quick and polite service. If you could describe the ambiance of this cafe with a song, it would be "no one noticed" by the Marias. To me the interior design looks to be inspired by Latin culture infused with a modern bohemian touch. It's decorated with small square tiles, terracotta, and exposed wood with north and east facing windows that makes for both a beautiful color combination and beautiful lighting. If you come don't tell your friends because you're gonna want to keep this place to yourself.

Yelp
I was really excited to check out this cafe after hearing great things and seeing their menu, but my experience fell a bit short. I got the smoky matcha, which sounded super interesting, but it mostly tasted like cereal milk and didn't have that distinct matcha flavor I was hoping for, especially at nearly $9. That said, the space itself is beautiful. There's plenty of seating, including some large communal tables, making it a great spot to hang out or work for a while. I'd definitely come back to try something else since the atmosphere is lovely, but the drink didn't quite live up to the hype for me.

Yelp
Bueno Days is such a thoughtfully designed spot. The location itself has been transformed beautifully--it's full of natural sunlight, plenty of plants, and comfortable seating that makes it feel welcoming the moment you walk in. The service was good, and I could tell they take pride in the setup, which made me even more curious about the story behind the café. Inside, people were studying, relaxing, and just enjoying the space, which says a lot about the vibe they've created. Definitely a place I'd come back to if I wanted a calm atmosphere with great energy.

Yelp
Really cool coffee shop in the little village area. Seems like a nice place to meet friends or just chill for a bit. Ordering took quite a while, probably about a 15 minute wait to place an order then another 10 minutes to receive it since there was only 1 gal working both the register and bar. I felt bad for her!! She apologized to us many times so I'm sure she was feeling pressured. We were very understanding! Overall I wouldn't recommend stopping here if you're in a hurry, but it's a great spot to sit and hang for a bit. I absolutely loved the menu, it was hanging in the window with one side, showing all the photos of the drinks, which was really cool, and the other side, the drink names and descriptions. I've never seen a menu quite like this so I found it really awesome and appealing. There weren't a ton of food or snack options, a couple grab items and a few bakery items but nothing that looked too appealing to me so I passed. Since they don't have actual breakfast sandwiches, I would not recommend coming hungry. They also did not have a ton of seating if you are there to work from a laptop, and the Wi-Fi seemed to be a bit spotty, so I think it would be best to sit here with a book or meet up with friends to chat. Also I found it to be freezing inside and had to go to my car to get a sweatshirt! TL;DR: great spot to sit and hang with a friend or read a book, don't expect it to be a super quick grab and go spot, best for a good coffee drink.

Yelp
Cute upscale but approachable neighborhood coffee spot. Ordered the Piña cold brew and the affogato with tortilla ice cream. Both drinks looked beautiful but the affogato was my fav as it was unique but approachable. Also really liked the cafe de olla - creamy, earthy, and relaxing. They really shoot outside the box here which is fun and refreshing as vanilla lattes are nice but where else is making piña lattes?

Yelp
Bueno Days is so beautiful! The space was light, open, and very aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the guayaba matcha and it was SO yummy!! I don't drink coffee but my friend said their drink was good as well. There's some nice seating, and I could definitely see this as a place to come and hang out for a bit.

Yelp
Came in on a Monday around 11am, very chill and beautiful space. I got the Piña Vera Cold Brew and it's pretty original giving a refreshing taste of a pina colada minus the alcohol and have the caffeine from the cold brew. Service was quick and the worker, wish we got their name, was very helping giving suggestions for everything and explaining everything. After mentioning we had a flight to catch they tried their best to get the drinks out on time. We made our flights btw.

Yelp
Everything is amazing on my first time visiting, only issue if you visit this cafe to work too, their seating is very limited to where you can place your laptop at with nearby plugs + a table to reach :( Although, if you need somewhere to work for maybe 1-3 hours or a quick meeting with some matcha, this can work! Super photogenic location though and great drink service.

Yelp
I drive by few times but this Sunday I stop by to enjoy a cappuchino Nice cozy place Friendly staff i will try something different next time

Yelp
Cute and bright coffee shop. The ladies were very friendly. Drinks were on the experimental side to incorporate Mexican elements. Drinks are pricey but worth the experience.
google avatar

Aminah K.

Yelp
This cafe reminded me of the coffee shops in Mexico City. The interior is bright and vibrant. The confleis latte is so delicious and tastes like corn flake cereal. Highly recommend trying it out!
google avatar

Amelie K.

Yelp
First off, service was amazing. The lady offered us samples of the hibiscus cold brew. How sweet Definitely get a latte here. Their plain latte had great espresso to milk ratio. Add the pilloncillo syrup. 5/5 Cold brew is good for those who like lighter fruity flavor, slightly acidic as well. 4/5 Ambiance speaks for itself. Very quiet. Bring a portable in case cus outlets aren't everywhere. Critiques; - minimal menu with seasonal items - pricey . You will spend 8 dollars for 12 oz.
google avatar

Layna L.

Yelp
This is a beautiful space with friendly staff. Definitely reminds me of coffee shops I visited in Mexico. The drinks are definitely on the sweeter and milkier side, so if you are looking for a strong coffee flavor, these may not be to your liking. There is also no Wi-Fi and no outlets, so not a great place to do work. However, this is a great place to meet up with friends and chat.

Yelp
The ambiance inside was great. Very cozy chill vibe. Not too much seating but that's okay. They were nice and gave us free Perrier with our drinks but I think this was a limited time thing. I did like the coffee we got. It was pretty good, though I'd say not special. My cousin loved his. They also have this very cool concept of giving cold brew concentrate sort of to go. Then once you bring the glass back there are refills for a cheaper price. This is nice cause you can taste all their cold brew and make yourself a cold brew latte at home and such! I wish I was able to try more things, this had the potential to be a 5/5! I'd definitely give it a shot. Parking is street

Yelp
Love coming to Bueno Days in Kiubo Space in South Lawndale. I came with a friend and treated her to a drink and she loved her matcha tutti frutti drink. I always end up choosing something off the lab menu and went with confleis and loved the concept and the delivery of the drink. Slightly sweet with all the nostalgia feels I enjoyed this caffeinated drink that tasted like elevated cereal milk. The space itself is beautiful, and thoughtfully curated with other artisanal goods. The owners, Alma and Cris, are lovely as well and it's been fun to see the business thrive and bring attention to their community.

Yelp
Love the decor and ambience. As others have said, it's a a bummer they don't allow outside food to support other local businesses. If you purchase an item I don't see what the big deal is. In addition, I got a hot matcha which has cardamom and I got it with oat milk. I appreciate their spin to this drink, but I didn't really like it. It had the spice which was ok, but it had a salty aftertaste which was overpowering the matcha. That was really strange for me and I could not finish it. I don't like my matcha sweet either but I guess their matcha is a pre-mix is what the employee told me, after inquiring about the sweetness level. I don't drink coffee and from what I remember I think matcha was the only non coffee item. On the menu. Probably would not come back, unfortunately.

Yelp
Such a lovely aesthetic with one of the best matchas I've ever had! The originality of the orange/cardamom flavor added in was so next level. Will definitely be back!

Diana R.

Yelp
So yummy cozy and friendly For me the taste reminded me of the polvorones As a kid I lived a few houses down and always wished they made this spot a coffee shop and to my surprise, it's perfect.

Yelp
Beautiful space, intimate , not alot of seating. Great place to catch up. The woman working the register was super sweet and led us through the menu and offered suggestions. Ultimately their specialty drinks were a tad too experimental for me.

Danny J.

Yelp
People keep talking about it being a gentrifying coffee shop, but this place walks the walk. Fullly latin owned and oportated, the owners have been in this naborhood before I have. The only reasons I think people think this place is a "gentrifying" coffee shop is becuse of the price, which is a litte more then your avrage coffee shop, but it's an expernmantal coffee shop it's gonna cost more then a drip coffee form Dunkin or Starbucks. (Which by the way, is much more genterfying of our naoborhood then Bueno Days) I'm glad that as a community of color we now have a space that offers this experance, and we still have La Catedral, which is a diffrent vib and I enjoy as well, but somtimes I want to try somthing new, now we have that option without going to the northside. Come by and give it a try, love their lab menu. I'd also highly recommend the tortilla affogoto 10/10.

Yelp
Was excited to try out this cafe in little village that seemed Latinx owned and inspired. Unfortunately it feels more like a cafe that is profiting off of Latinx aesthetic. The first thing that struck me is that they do not allow outside food when they are literally sharing space with the very popular and delicious tamale ladies on the corner of Marshall and Cermak. I was disappointed to see that as a Latinx coffee shop they wouldn't support the small woman owned and operated business by allowing outside food. Secondly, their cafe de olla which appears to be their house speciality is not good. It lacks the flavor and sweetness that is a staple of cafe de olla. Honestly if you're looking for a good cafe de olla stick to La Catedral and if you're looking for Latinx inspired coffees take a look at Cup of Joe's mazapan latte.

Yelp
The best coffee spot in Chicago! Their lab menu is amazing & I especially love the matcha drinks they invent. Espresso con panna changed me forever. The family who owns this is so incredibly lovely & the entire staff will brighten your day.

Yelp
Mexico City style cafe in Little Village. The coffee offerings are heavily influenced by Mexican ingredients and Mexican-sourced coffee beans. Stunning and modern decor that is reminiscing to Mexican cafes in Mexico City (Roma/Condesa type vibes). The space is also a boutique store and flower shop. Friendly staff explained their menu items. Deducted a star because I was dismayed the café does not offer WiFi at all, so this is not ideal for getting work done or some studying on your laptop. Another gripe is the limited amount of seating space. Had to wait standing for a while until some patrons left. I think they can fit 2 or more tables in the space. Other than that, it is an elegant and cozy cafe worth checking out.

Afi D.

Yelp
This was some of the best coffee I've ever had. I love the way they incorporated staple Mexican flavors with their own spin. I love the taste of toast, a tortilla in my latte. Amazing

Yelp
I had my hopes up for this coffee shop and they were EXCEEDED!! As a coffee lover and an advocate of community member ran businesses I was excited when I saw this business open up. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with friendly faces and welcoming smiles. I was glad they had the classics (Espresso shots/Americanos) and an experimental menu. Awhile waiting for my drink I was able to take a better look around at the crowd of people in the shop - everyone was enjoying themselves and the staff was extremely engaging. Diverse mindsets chatting, catching up and experiencing the space as the community intended. This isn't your typical coffee shop, it comes with a hint of experimental beverages, a space that's welcoming to all, and a strong focus on community, culture and connectivity. I love that the business markets itself as a Mexican coffee shop and offers not only the flavors of Mexico but also the ambience and decor. I love how accessible this business is and how much they care about the community and the great value it adds to the surrounding people and area!

Yelp
We had the opportunity to go to this great place twice over the past few days. The incredibly attentive and knowledgeable staff recommended their special winter coffee abrazos DE invierno. It was incredible. A very special drink. A beautiful combination of flavours and scents. Highly recommend this establishment and their special coffee.

Yelp
one of the best cafes in the city to chill and get great service and delicious coffee

Izzy H.

Yelp
This place is like a small sliver of Mexico City and my partner and I love it! It's a few blocks from us and I can't believe it doesn't have more stars. Super friendly staff, cute boutique shop, and a great little casual place to sit and enjoy good espresso.

Lupe M.

Yelp
Great Coffee. Lady at the register is hilarious. Mexican owned. Unique coffee flavors that I promise you won't find anywhere else.

Aidan O.

Yelp
No wifi, awkward atmosphere, unenjoyable coffee. This overpriced coffee shop is not what little village deserves.

Ellie B.

Yelp
I truly had my hopes up for this coffee shop. As a coffee lover and a member of the neighborhood I was very excited when I saw this business open up. Today I walked in and decided to give it a try. I was greeted at the counter and tried to order a dirty chai ( a very commonly ordered drink at a coffee shop) I was quickly dismissed and was told they don't have chai. (Wtf?) After a few seconds of confusion I quickly ordered the next drink on the menu that sparked my interest. Awhile waiting for my drink I was able to take a better look around at the crowd of people in the shop. All young white people typing away in their laptops. Now I know what you're thinking... typical coffee shop. Not in this neighborhood. Little Village is know to be a predominately Hispanic and Latina community and I was shocked that this business markets itself as a Mexican coffee shop but doesn't offer a drink for less than 8 dollars (just a sold brew) and doesn't have wifi. This was truly shocking. If you care about cultivating community and staying true to your culture then you would make ur business more accessible. Outsider looking in: just a bunch of gentrification that was unnecessary and did not add any value to the neighborhood.
