The 12 Best Argentine Restaurants in Miami | Eater Miami

"Anival Constanso and his family opened this convivial restaurant in the “Little Argentina” area of Miami Beach in 1992. It operates with counter service from morning to night, offering a coffee bar, a selection of empanadas, sandwiches, and entrees like matambre, thinly-sliced stuffed veal served inside mini French bread, and Fugazza, an Argentine-style onion pizza. The pastry window is dedicated to facturas, the country’s classic pastry, and tropical cakes with peaches, dulce de leche, and passionfruit mousse." - Juliana Accioly

The 10 Best Empanadas in Miami, Florida | Eater Miami

"This family-run Argentine bakery has had a loyal clientele since opening in 2001, thanks to delicious facturas (Argentine pastries), breads, sandwiches, and cakes. The baked empanadas (spinach, ham and cheese, meat, and chicken) are pocket-sized and flavorful. They are also big hits at parties, which is handy because this bakery offers catering." - Alona Martinez

1.14.25 After walking by this cafe many times, I finally stopped in. They offer various types of coffees, sandwiches, and the most amazing pastries. I really struggled with what to get because they looked so good. When you walk in take a number so you don't lose you place in line. They only accept credit cards over $5 min purchase. Once you order and pay, they give you a number to put on your table. You seat yourself, and they bring you your food. There are several tvs on and music plays in the background, so it's a bit loud. They also have a few seats outdoors. If you're in the area, I'd say this a must stop.

I had an amazing time at this Argentinian bakery with my friends! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a fun and relaxing outing. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish we tried was packed with authentic flavors, and the pastries were to die for. It’s the ideal spot to gather with friends and enjoy great food in a cozy setting. If you’re looking for a place to indulge in incredible Argentinian flavors while having a good time with friends, this bakery is a must-visit!

Google
Delicious to say the least. Great selection of succulent and well presented Argentinian dishes from Empanadas to the scrumptious sandwiches de pan de miga. Great coffee and a vast variety of sweets. I’ll be back for more. Thanks

Google
Visiting in town and wanted to try a cute cafe! So good! Amazing desserts 😍

Google
Great assortment of pastries and Argentinian food. Only reason for the 4 stars is because coming at 7pm the empanadas weren’t too fresh. Understandably. But I’ll definitely come back and try more food items, especially their sweet offerings.

Google
Give us this day, our daily facturas! Oh how we will miss daily breakfast at this cafe. We stayed nearby for 5 days and thus was the perfect post workout indulgence. The pastries were fresh and tasty! We’re used to similar pretty Mexican pastries but I found these to be far superior!

Google
We bought some food to go from here for breakfast this morning and were really impressed with all the items we purchased. It was super fresh, and delicious. Service was super fast and friendly too. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant and I would advise potential diners to proceed with caution. During my visit, there was a concerning issue with the payment process. The staff claimed that my transaction wasn't successful, despite it being reflected on my debit card. It seemed as though there was an intentional effort to charge me twice. When I raised the issue with the manager, her solution was for me to pay again and then sort it out with my bank. This approach was both inconvenient and frustrating. Additionally, diners should be aware of an automatic service charge that is added to the bill, which feels misleading. Overall, this experience left me feeling quite uneasy, and I would recommend not to go. This is a scam

Yelp
Ambience was great. Service not so great, not gonna lie, asked for ice three times but everyone was nice. But this is hands down the best place for Argentinean pastries. Great price, $1.10 each and also best place for churros with dulce de leche. Skip the pizzas. To order you must know Spanish bc most of the staff speaks Spanish, so a great place to practice your Spanish skills. I appreciated this place as it is a little nugget of my country. Highly recommended for pastries ( facturas) and churros.

Yelp
Grab a number and order at the counter. They have baked goods, coffee, pizza and burgers. We grabbed a number and waited to be called and then ordered our food at the counter. The inside is kind of modern and comfy with different types of seating. I got an iced latte ($7) and grabbed a seat. The latte was pretty good.

Yelp
Buenos Aires Bakery is a beautiful cafe & Bakery , Argentinian pizza is extremely delicious with Argentinian flavors. If you enjoy delicious coffee and delicious pastries this is your place. Staff were polite and professional, place was clean and spacious.

Yelp
Not the best cafe, but not the worst. The pastries didn't taste fresh and I felt like I could get something more flavorful and cheaper at a small family-owned cafe. The food looked a lot nicer than it tasted and it was pretty pricey! There was adequate seating inside and the servers were very kind. Probably wouldn't come again to be honest because the pastries just weren't the best for the price
google avatar

Yelp
Great products and very friendly staff. Unfortunately it is impossible to enjoy a coffee or an empanada when the air conditioning is blowing on ur neck constantly and the temperature inside the store is freezing. Maybe it'll b a good idea for the owner/manager yo put themselves in the customer's shoes and sit and try to enjoy a meal in the freezing store.

Yelp
We were in Miami for 3 days on a vacation and ate here at least once a day! It was reasonably priced, had very nice employees and we loved the breakfast sandwiches, pastries, fresh orange juice and coffees that we got daily. It was also very clean inside.
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Stopped in for a coffee and croissant. Coffee was fine. They were open early on a Saturday morning before the nearby cafes. The croissant was meh. It may not have been a croissant to be fair. I thought it tasted like standard processed fare. Meh. Everything lacked authenticity. Everything was sorta meh. Service was ok. There are lots of tables inside and out. Prices were good.

Yelp
Coming after many years to this location in Miami Beach Not amused at all 1. Only one cashier /attendant for all matters, they could improve this operation in front to attend more customers 2. Long and slow lines weekday mid-morning (30 minutes to get served on the counter) 3. Got ham and cheese sandwiches box but honestly remember them way better4 units for $6.40 4 Fresh orange juice was very delicious $6.95 5. All pastries and cakes looks fenomenal and I owe myself a tasting visit but need to check less busy time won't waste half an hour again on a slow line

Yelp
So yummy! I LOVE migas so we stopped here to pick some up for beach day! We got some prosciutto migas and for the first time some tuna and cheese migas which blew my mind. So delicious! Also recommend the chicken empanadas they were so delicious for breakfast! Love the new location! Def coming back!

Yelp
I visit Pembroke Pines pretty often and I always like to grab facturas or empanadas for my friends. However when it comes to facturas, pastries, they were ok and their empanadas are usually a bit dry. It could definitely improve. Sadly customer service is not great at all! Lack of attention to customers and lack of communication skills are the main reasons. For example: it is supposed to be an Argentinian bakery but the servers don't know the name of some pastries so you basically have to point out what you want and see their unapologetic response and rude attitude. Let's be clear: You don't have to be from Argentina to know the names of Argentinian pastries to order or work at this bakery but it will be helpful that when you're ordering the server will understand . By the way if you ever got a chance to visit Argentina you will probably learn the names of most of the 'Facturas' fast since they are so delicious!. Ambience none, all you might see is empty tables and people getting a coffee, few empanadas all to go, since the servers are not really inviting to sit and enjoy. I really hope that changes . I love to explore and enjoy Argentinian/Uruguayan bakeries and cafes since for me it is at least a 10hrs flight to be in that beautiful part of the world.

Yelp
Do not eat meat products here!! I got a horrible case of food poisoning from the empanadas. It was truly a dreadful & debilitating experience. I emailed the company to warn them & suggest they store their meat different & clean their glass cases, so this doesn't happen to anyone else, & never received a response.

Yelp
Strolling along 71st St in Miami we came across Bueno Aires Bakery and Cafe and decided to visit. The place is so inviting from the moment you step in! The display cases with all the baked goods from tarts to cakes to croissants, sandwiches, you name it. Such a wonderful selection of everything you can possibly imagine right in front of you! Our choices are shown in the photos the Key Lime, Chocolate cake and Milhoja. And let me add none of them disappointed! Absolutely delicious! We haven't enjoyed this quality of baking in many many years. The quality is outstanding. The young lady who helped us, Ms. Valentina was so very pleasant and helpful as well. Her service was exceptional. Though on vacation we plan to come back and visit them for another great experience. Please if you are in the area come by and visit them. This bakery will not disappoint you. Thank you to all the staff for your friendly advice and fantastic customer service. We will be back before we leave. A++++++++++++ Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Wish we could bring this bakery back to where we live!

Yelp
Ordered a hot chocolate to go and when I got in the car I noticed it was watered down Nesquik. Gross . Small cup for $5.30 Would not recommend.

Don L.

Yelp
I went here a few times when I was at North Beach. Great selection. I just bought a baby Tiramisu and a small roll with caramel in it for the airport tomorrow. I do wish it was chocolate. Yesterday I bought a flan and some Cognac nips, great pairing. Unfortunately I had no microwave in the hotel room so I had to eat it cold. I'm sure they would've heated it for me. Great selection. Careful with breakfast. 2 eggs and a tiny pc of bread was about $5.00. But as I mentioned most of the pastries are well priced and I think the breakfast sandwiches are a better value than just the eggs. Enjoy. I did.
google avatar

Marcella L.

Yelp
The prices are outrageous. Ordered a mini Milanese sandwich comes with fries. They don't show a picture but for $24 you think you would get a good portion but this is what you get!!
google avatar

Sandra J.

Yelp
I really like their breakfast and alfajores!!! Service it's ok nothing special , sometimes they're super nice other not do much , ambience is much better now in their new location!!!

Yelp
"What's new Buenos Aires? I'm new - I want to say, I'm just a little stuck on you!" Traveling through North Beach and hungry, but don't quite want a heavy or full plated meal? This would be the spot to stop. A combination bakery, coffeehouse, meeting place, that brings you a taste of the far away land which gave us Lionel Messi, Gabriela Sabatini, and Manu Ginobili. Their menu is extensive and includes pizza, salads, burgers, and milanesas. But the real stars are the pastries, the miga sandwiches, and the coffee. If you're in the mood for breakfast, their croissant sandwich (scrambled eggs with cheese) with a coffee is a favorite for folks on the go. Feeling a bit more of a leisurely pace? Then, a hot chocolate with three "sweet media lunas" is what you want. I'm a sucker for empanadas, and they have a whole selection available (hot or cold). Lunch is always a rush here, and their cold sandwiches are a hit, especially the "miga sandwiches". They come packaged and ready for those folks on the clock. If you've got more time, the staff will toast them for you, which is how I recommend you have them. Melted cheesy goodness has no equal in this town. The staff is friendly, helpful, and will do their best to take care of you, especially during the breakfast and lunch rushes. Be patient with them, and tip in cash! The bakery is now located right on 71st Street; If you show up at their old location on Collins, there are signs pointing you to their new location. "Wait 'til they hear about this in Argentina!" Until nest time, SYOY!!!! What's a "miga" sandwich you ask? Here's a link to the explanation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandwiches_de_miga

Yelp
Cheap. Good. What else you need? Nothing crazy . Went there when didn't had much time to eat in a restaurant . Wasn't disappointed at all
google avatar

Marifel Maria G.

Yelp
When you come here make sure to get a ticket / number before you go in line . Got to argue with a guy because they know to get a number . ;)) pastries are good .

Sara T.

Yelp
Steal pastries, milk hojas very dry... Bad service and attitude from employees. I wouldn't go back!

Amara C.

Yelp
So delicious !! The croissants are amazing !! Sweet or salty can't go wrong. Empanadas fantastic!! Great staff, great food. They open at 7 and we got stuff here every morning
google avatar

Ivan A.

Yelp
Bad comments about this place are so unfair. I have been coming here for over 7 years and every single time it's a pleasure. Some things don't taste like your mom used to make them, or maybe your mom was a terrible cook and you got used to it. This little place is truly spectacular, and the ladies behind the counter are lovely! Give this place a shot and know that the place is an actual success. Lovely!!
google avatar

Nina C.

Yelp
The prices are really good, the hours are great with my schedule, the place is bright and airy and super clean! Will definitely be back

Michelle S.

Yelp
I came in for cafe con leche a few times in the morning right after opening. Friendly service, beautiful pastries (they could be featured in a magazine) and the BEST espresso roast! Large eat in bakery with many tables. Great way to start your day!
google avatar

Mayra R.

Yelp
So delicious! Ambiance was great! Very quick service!!! Friendly staff! Latte was great!!! Empanadas were fire!!!
google avatar

Mosa H.

Yelp
This is hands down the best breakfast spot in North Beach if you're looking for something local. The coladas are perfectly strong and sweet (if you ask for sugar). Facturas are super cheap (99 c/each) and they're all delicious. I would suggest their beef empanada and custard factura. The cashiers/servers are all so sweet. This is a great way to start your morning- don't forget to grab a number ticket when you enter!
google avatar

Angelo R.

Yelp
The worse customer service ever. I waited in line for 30 minutes and they told me that I need a ticket number? All I want is a dozen of empanadas to go and I was very nice. She refused to sell me any empanadas because I didn't have a ticket. Are you serious? Also the store is dirty. The ladies behind the counter chit chat and talk about each other and customers in front of customers. I come here everytime I'm in the neighborhood but never going back here again. They clearly dont want my business and lady told me "bye". She has no manners. I even gave them a positive review before and this is my updated review. DO NOT GO HERE! YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO A GAS STATION AND GET EMPANADAS BECAUSE YOU WILL GET BETTER SERVICE THAN THIS PLACE!
google avatar

Monica K.

Yelp
I've lived in Miami Beach for over 24 years and not a day goes by where I'm not thankful for living so close to this "heaven on earth" Argentine bakery. Everything from their "masas finas" to their "sanguiches de miga" and their "medialunas de manteca" are a delight to the taste buds. When celebrating a special event or just want to "surprise and delight" your friends and family, you can never go wrong. You must check this bakery out, you'll thank me for it! A+++
google avatar

Jesse C.

Yelp
Good food, chill spot, great AC!! seriously though it's good, reasonably priced, definitely worth a stop on the way to the beach or on the way back.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
This is my favorite pastry shop in Miami. Great service and the staff are knowledgeable about the menu. Would eat here every day if I could! The empanadas are AMAZING.
google avatar

Anna W.

Yelp
This cafe was recommended by our Airbnb host. The coffee and pastries are fantastic! I highly recommend the Alfajores as the cookies are perfect and the dulce de leche sandwiches between them is amazing. I can't say enough good things about the quality and taste. 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Dylan K.

Yelp
Really authentic Buenos Aires Bakery! Their pastries are clearly baked fresh every day and their empanadas were wonderful. I had a hot chocolate there too which was delicious. Such helpful staff. Definitely go here!
google avatar

Delsa B.

Yelp
Yes I love the energy at the new restaurant. Also the food. Best Argentinian food and the sweets are amazing.
google avatar

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Best alfajores and yummy baked empanadas! We will definitely be back when we are in South Florida.
google avatar

Daryl S.

Yelp
While I was living in Argentina, I was on the hunt for the best empanadas. Honestly...I'm not sure I found them. Growing up in Miami Beach I ate many, many, many empanadas from Buenos Aires Bakery and they are always so good. This is one place I take my friends whenever they visit me because I love them that much. It also feels like a very local and true experience where you have to wait for your number to get called and order in Spanish. Needless to say, once I went home for a visit this place was at the top of my list so that I could remember the taste of a good empanada. One thing to note here: the desserts look great, but I they tend to look better than they taste.
google avatar

Shari S.

Yelp
I have a place in NoBe Miami and I'm lucky enough to have this as 'my' bakery as it's about 2 blocks away. It's perfect when you want a cafecito and something small. The facturas (little pastries) are .99/ea and it will help if you speak Spanish but the folks behind the counter will understand you regardless. I have to admit, I come here almost every day when I'm down here- usually in the afternoon when I want a little something to tide me over until dinner. They have savory snacks as well, most notably, the empanadas. This place is that 'real deal' place that people are always looking for. If you try it once, you'll be going back too!!

Klaudia K.

Yelp
Buenos Aires Bakery & Cafe in Miami Beach at its old location used to be a popular place with locals and had a cozy, Buenos Aires atmosphere and flair. Now in its new location you will find a cold (literally temperature-wise) and modern atmosphere and much smaller show cases. The prices were raised and now even as a local you are being charged a tourist tax!!! By the way, BA Bakery & Cafe is the ONLY business in the area charging a business tax. I recently ordered 30+ empanadas for an event. When pointing out that Halfmoon Empanadas gives special incentives/discounts when purchasing more I only got a shoulder shrug. When I asked if I would get any additional free empanadas for purchasing such a large order, I received one measly factura in the value of $0.99 for free! I am not sure I can recommend BA Bakery and Cafe any more.

Ernesto L.

Yelp
The quality dropped significantly since they moved to the 71st street. Used to be the best bakery in the past

Marisol C.

Yelp
Looking for Argentinian pastries in Miami we found Buenos Aires Bakery, we bought facturas and the quality is "Zero", nothing to do with real Argentinian facturas, sándwiches de miga a little better. Overall not good.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Great eggs bacon and sausage. Friendly atmosphere. Make sure you pull a ticket when you walk in the door. Nice staff. No power outlets.
google avatar

Gabby S.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! This place has amazing food. The deserts are delicious as well. Baked Empanadas and Fried Beef Empanadas are so good. The filling is amazing and they're crispy and soft at the same time. Steak Sandwich is also really good! The bread is really soft and toasty. The churros and strawberry cheese cake are amazing as well. I adore this place and everyone Im in the area I always go. I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
This place was good but nothing spectacular. The women behind the counter were friendly and warm, which is a huge win in my book. The desserts did look good, but all I ended up ordering food-wise were two empanadas (one chicken and the other, "meat" -- there was no further specification). Again, they were nothing spectacular, but were still a good snack. The cappuccino I had was one of the best ones I've had--super creamy and rich with a great flavor. With all the coffee shops in Miami Beach, I probably wouldn't go back, but I'd recommend this place--especially for someone looking for a more ethnic and unique bakery.

Marilia D.

Yelp
Horrible service with the manager, an older lady, who discriminated against me for not having a shirt, because I came from the beach. I just went to pick up food from the beach. I felt very discriminated against if I knew I would leave the chorizo for her to eat.
google avatar

Teresa R.

Yelp
Good pastries, really poor service, poor coffee quality, and dirty. Personnel is not focused on the clients, rather on their own conversations.
google avatar

Ivette T.

Yelp
Delicious Argentinian bakery right near the Beach on Collins Ave. They have a variety of options from empanadas to sandwiches to pastries. I had the breakfast wrap and a Caprese empanada. The empanada a bit dry for my taste but the wrap was pretty good. The Cafe con leche is very tasty though I added some sugar. Didn't get to try the pastries and desserts since I came for breakfast but will definitely stop by for some in the future.
google avatar

Jes M.

Yelp
Everything I ordered here was fantastic. The milanesa sandwich exceded my expectations. The beef empanada was a great appetizer. The beer was also good and the dessert options were endless.
google avatar

Yelp
its not the $1 its the point !!!!! frequent this place often , they have great empanadas . ordered a dozen spinach empanadas to go plus a soft drink. when she walked me through to charge on the card never showed breakdown , i tipped $1 processed and signed . when i finally received the recept i noticed they charge for 6/6 empanadas @ $30 and i asked why when the sign clearly stays $28.99 per dozen . i clearly questioned it in english then spanish and i was told it was the tax, tax what the tax is on the bottom on the total, apparently she thought i was dumb or she clearly was ... again its not the dollar like i told them its the principle and 3 of them just looked st me as if i were from mars ! jf
