"The big bars occupied two levels of the same Dupont space, and each became an affordable staple for students, interns, and sports fans. They shut down in August because the owners were unable to renew their lease with new ownership. A liquor license application has been filed in the space for a mini-golf venue called Swingers. Over a 25-year run, Buffalo Billiards claimed some impressive statistics: over 10 million beers sold, 1.7 million games of pool recorded, 72,500 burgers consumed, 78,213 kegs emptied, and 3,091 college football games watched. Next-door fixture Front Page served its last beer this year too." - Tierney Plumb

Great bar with plenty of specials and games from darts, shuffleboard, arcade basketball etc. not sure why I've never been here before. Staff here is a bit slow and place is pretty dead during the week

Goodbye Buffalo! You've been great. Will miss the fun space for pool, football watching and happy hours.

One of my favorite bars in the city, hands down. I've been for happy hours, I've been for trivia, I've been just to hang out with friends--it's always a fun experience enjoying the pool tables and game options. Love how spacious the space is and you never really feel cramped even on busy nights. Drink and food prices are solid as well and the bar bites are mighty tasty. Highly recommend it!

This is a good place during the week and on weekends to hang out and play some games. They have pool, shuffleboard, arcade basketball, and other games to keep you entertained. The happy hour isn't exactly cheap, but they have a decent selection of beers on tap. The best part about this place is that it's very spacious, so you're never really bumping shoulders with other people unless there's a big game on or it's primetime on the weekend.

The selection of beers (and cocktails) was okay... And the house beer was pretty good. The pool tables looked like they were in great condition. The atmosphere was quite loud, though not unexpectedly so. The staff was also friendly. I was here for an event and the room wasn't quite set up to accommodate us very well, and not because it was small. It was mostly a matter of how it was put together. Otherwise it was fine and might be a place I'd visit again.

A fun bar to gather with friends and play multiple games. They have ping pong, mini basketball, pool, darts, ski ball, arcade games... Beer is reasonably priced. Can get busy later in the night but service kept up with the crowd.

This place is huge. I had never been to a bar in DC, so I didn't know what I was getting into. It has a seemingly endkess downstairs space with intermingling tables and bar stools. I didn't get a chance to play pool because I was focused on the NFL draft. Great atmosphere that brought me right back to college in a lot of ways. Good prices on pitchers.

As far as sports bars go, its a good one. Many TVs and semi-seperated areas that allow for numerous games to be on and have their corresponding fan club comfortably seated. Food was standard bar fare, pretzels were good though. Also standard beer selection.
