One of the few sit down restaurants to enjoy right on B St to enjoy an evening in that area, some open air seating, window seats, real brewery. ▪︎ Gorgonzola salad delish, unsure about addition of sundried tomatoes flavor wise, but enjoyed their satisfying umami bite/texture on the salad which I tried as meatless. $18 or $26 with chicken seems like a premium entree price though. ▪︎ Poppers are uniquely wrapped in a pastry dough & so filling, shareable with 3+ ppl, be ready but soft and yummy heavy of course but less greasy than other renditions I'll say. ▪︎ Pork shortribs got 4 on HH deal, dry rub seems to have chili powder, not too saucy, not too classic of bbq flavor but flavored up & meaty, looked like a regular pork rib cut. Coleslaw wasn't so cold, it was a bit creamy & may need some tang/vinegar. May try dish next time. ▪︎ 8 chicken wings lemon pepper dry rub were tasty, perhaps salty made us thirsty, would like more lemon zest & coarse pepper with perhaps less salt. The celery carrot salad was enjoyable with it. ▪︎ We'll be back for a B St vibe evening. 3rd Thurs nights in summer the city puts on a fest live band and stage right out front of Buffalo, we started at Bills early then pursued the street fest.

“Devil mac and cheese” description says creamy and has chili was missing both 2/10 “Taz pizza” was looking forward to the pizza sauce only to find that they only put about 2% sauce waiters didn’t ask if we were happy so we decided to leave and asked for our check and boxes which took 20 minutes. Worsts experience so far not recommended

Its a cool place. Tons of free parking. The menu is well put together with pairings to the beer in mind. The only reason I'm taking 1 star off is because 2 of the 4 things we ordered were wrong. The burger was undercooked My Nachos had sour cream when I ordered it with no sour cream and it had a bunch of it, the cheese was not melted and came out luke warm. The fires were pretty good and the wings were on point. Maybe the kitchen just had a rough day or the timing was off.

Buffalo Bill's is back and better than ever! The food, beer & service is all very, very good! Sat outside with our dog, had a nice, cozy setup and when it got chilly, they turned on the heaters and made it very comfortable for all of us! Can't wait to try everything else on the menu!

Buffalo Bills now serves breakfast, we had the French Toast and breakfast sandwich and both tasted amazing. We also had the pizza and it never disappoints, don’t forget to wash these eats down with a Hayward Heffe. 💥

Lots of free parking spaces are available. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Make reservations for big groups. Great place to enjoy craft beer and watch sports. Must try their Tasmanian and Stout beers. Their fish and chips were humongous and crispy.

Outdoor space was awesome for us and our pup. Food was good and tasty and so was the beer. Service was prompt and the vibe was nice. Fair warning though, park your car out front where you can keep an eye on it. While we were there, some cars got broken into out back. Management was proactive in making sure the patrons that got hit were helped ASAP. Definitely give them props there.

Happy to see that Buffalo Bill's Brewery really is basically the same with its new owners! There may be a couple ingredient editions here and there changed, and I'm sure we'll see new menu items on occasion, but I was delighted to see so many old favorites and the same great beers. Wow, the fish and chips...delicious, fresh and so authentic. The waitress was sweet, bubbly, efficient and adorable. Ambiance was perfection on this Wednesday night in October...not crowded at all. A huge burger went by, it was the jalapeño blue cheese bacon burger...next visit Very impressed with the staff and food...can't wait to go back Thank you

Stopped by Buffalo Bills Brewery and ordered a pizza -- it was delicious! Crispy crust, melty cheese, and fresh toppings made it way better than I expected from a brewery. Solid food to go with the drinks. The atmosphere was super chill, and to top it off, there was a Love Island watch party going on while I was there. Totally unexpected but honestly made the visit even more entertaining. The crowd was into it, and it added a fun energy to the place. Service was friendly, though a little slow -- the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. Still, between the great pizza, good beer, and unexpected TV drama, I had a great time.

We went to the brewery and were seated fairly quickly, but it took over 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. When I got up to look for a manager, a waiter noticed right away, came over, and apologized for the delay. He offered to comp our drinks, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, every one of the four drinks I tried to order was unavailable, which was disappointing. The staff handled the situation politely, but the overall experience could definitely be improved. I later found out the place is under new management, which might explain some of the issues. Hopefully, they get things sorted out soon because the atmosphere and potential are definitely there.

Your basic brewery with typical bar food. Wings, fries, salads, sandwiches, pizza, and some other fried items from which to choose. They have 3-4 tvs and plenty of seating. Service was friendly.

Thank you Buffalo Bills for being a Hayward and beer institution! Been going here for 2+ decades and am happy it's been reopened. Hayward folks go support our local spots!

Apparently they don't serve women beer here. Came in for a quick pint and the server saw me and two of my friends go to the bar. Everyone at the bar had their drinks. Server saw me, made eye contact but then instead of asking me what I wanted, left the bar area. 10 minutes gone by, he came back from sorting menu's and then when I told him I want a IPA, he continued to talk to another party and serve them two other beers and had conversations. I was basically ignored and service took way too long for a pint of beer. This place was dead and it was a Monday evening around 7pm. I used to work in the service industry and this attitude of service was definitely lower than a fail.

Quality/Quantity - Guess my buddy is MORE of a regular than I am?!?! Yet I believe we always come together?!?! I guess he is just more memorable. Anyways, I just had dinner at your other restaurant, Casa Del Toro, and wanted just one more beer before going home. Got my usual red, while my buddy got his usual IPA. And I ordered the garlic fries as I still had the munchies. My buddy could not believe after eating a steak dinner (see Casa Del Toro review), that I could still eat. Well, the joke is on him as he ate more than 60% of my fries, lol. Atmosphere - Indoor/outdoor seating.150 indoor seats and 120 outdoors seats. Table, booth, bar, counter, heated patio, etc. Free wifi. Open kitchen. Plenty of mall parking; in the past when this place was crazy busy, parking was a challenge. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 9pm or 10pm. Service - Good. Well even better when the bartender knows my buddy. And the manager recognized me, lol. Anyways, we are both regulars. :) Price - $35 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1983. I used to be a regular. Thanks for reopening on 8/7/23; Hayward needs more good businesses. Congrats to Alejandro Gamarra and all his restaurants and businesses. We just had dinner at your other restaurant, Casa Del Toro.

We came here on a weeknight and were seated right away. On Mondays it is happy hour from 2 pm until close. We ordered the ribs, pork sandwich, and the minestrone soup. We also ordered a side of crazy fries. The food was just okay. Folks thought their meat sandwiches were fine and there was nothing special. The minestrone was pretty good. I think where they fell through was the fries. The crazy fries were way too soggy with the sauce and the sauce was not great while the garlic was too much. My partner enjoyed the beer and thought that was good. It is sort of dark inside and there's plenty of seating. The service was pretty good as well.

I've been here before for a Yelp elite event, so it was great coming back for lunch with my coworkers! Or a great low key place to hang out with friends. I loved that the brewery has some of its equipment for display. Parking is super easy, there's a parking lot behind the restaurant. I ordered their fried chicken sandwich and it was super crispy and juicy. The fries were cooked perfectly. I didn't try any of their beers but it looked refreshing!

Buffalo Bills in hayward is our weekend place. Great music and beers, decent food. But the waiters are the best. Ivan, is awesome, always treat us as family and we feel like we are home.

Mediocre food with mediocre service. The food is pretty standard forgettable bar food. It has a shot of being actually okay at times but not for a second did I believe this was better than air fryer frozen food. Unfortunately, the food can be quite bad too. I ordered a fish and chips and it came with the vinegar spilt which made the fries soggy and sour. I'm not a fan of vinegar on fries but I didn't get a say in the matter. Luckily the fish wasn't touched yet it was still soggy for the most part with some light crisp here and there. That's actually the good part since there was no flavor from the fish or it was ridiculously salty. No in between. The servers were okay nice but they got an order wrong and they forgot to fulfill a request and we had to remind them. The bar ambiance is w/e. Forgettable as well but nothing foul or outstanding. Not quite a 1 star but I can't say it's 2 stars either. In this day and age, Chili's and even Applebee's or Denny's has got to be a better choice.

I did not really impressed with the quality of salad and steak. Steak was fatty and not really like the salad , it was a bit wilted. One of the good parts was the beer. Super fresh and yummy . We ordered hazy style which got me after 2 sip. Service is fast and attentive. Ambience also is warm and cozy . This location has patio for nights that are quiet and not warm to enjoy.

Nice environment with indoor and outdoor seating. A decent sized menu and a full bar. I really like the pesto chicken sandwich. I like that I can sub the Swiss cheese for cheddar. The sweet potato fries are pretty good as well as the side salad. The prices are a bit high though.

Whoa, my last review for this place was back in 2008, that's 17 years ago yo, WTF. Lol. Since then long tenured Buffalo Bills changed hands a little past the pandemic. Like many other owners, not many wanted to stick around in an already hard business. New blood had to enter the equation and good for Hayward, a local empire took over. Owners of the Metro Taquero chain and Casa Del Toro next door bought the business rights to this old time brew pub and Hayward classic. Much of the inside is the same, but honestly it's been so long since I've been in, I can't really tell. But the overall vibe is the same, very urban yet industrial vibe. The food and drink, albeit more expensive due to the times and inflation, is even better than what I remember so let's jot down an update. 4 beer Sampler ($12/4*) A little pricey for trying to find out what they have but at least their beers are pretty good. I hate paying for a sampling and the beers suck. Like any where else, they have multiple IPAs, but they are on the lighter side but still quite balanced. These aren't the thick and heavy ones like Fieldwork and Drake's. I really liked their Hazy (juicy and fresh) and their Double Standard which has a stern hop finish. I also liked their Blueberry Oatmeal Stout which was smooth with just a faint blueberry hint, not in your face or artificial tasting. Half Club/Half Soup Combo - lunch special ($16/4*) You can pick between like 5 sandwiches or so, and between 2 soups. The sandwich was really good but at 3 layers can be a bit tough to bite into. Good toasted sourdough, turkey, bacon and avo slices. And the kicker I liked which you don't see often was pickled jalapenos which made it zing. I could eat pickled jalapenos on any sandwich, you just don't see it enough. I chose minestrone soup and it was hearty with big chunks of veggies and swollen shell pasta. Loved the taste of the broth and seasoning, just thought it was a bit skimpy of a portion (like cup was only filled half way) and the soup wasn't hot, barely warm. Still delicious just an observation noted. Combo Pizza ($22/4*) In my original review I was amused at how the pricing for pizza or burger was around $11 bucks. Now they are both over $20, weeeee! About small pizza in size about 8 small slices, good for 2 peeps as an app. Crust nicely charred on the edges edges but reamins soft and droopy in the center. I think the amount of cheese and sauce they use keeps it from getting totally crisp. But there is a good meaty and melty bite. I actually liked the slices cold the next day, as everything was stuck as one. Service at the bar was good, spacing was kinda tight. But I'll definitely be back and won't hold off as long as I did for this return. I'm just glad a successful local group took over an old institution to keep it alive. It's a model I can root for and support. Cheers!

Stopped in for a bite to eat after golfing nearby. Even though it was not busy it took a while to get service and since we weren't drinking beers, we waited a long time for waters. Maybe under staffed at the time. I had the PestoChicken wrap, which was pretty good. I saw some pizzas and wings that looked good too. Overall it's a good gathering place in downtown Hayward if you want a beer and some good food.

Exceptional service, excellent food & large portions! Outdoor seating with plenty of space inside too. Quiet, clean & pleasant atmosphere. Will be back!

What a great place to enjoy delicious burgers (sliders) and beer! They brew their own beer which was very tasty. Came here for happy hour and the price of the sliders/burgers and beers was only $5 each! Definitely coming back when I'm Hayward.

I came to Buffalo Bills to catch up with some friends I haven't seen in a while! Buffalo Bills have both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit offside because it was a nice sunny day. With the sun, we were concerned about one person getting hit by all those rays, but before we could ask, the hostess immediately asked if we wanted to move the sun umbrella. Very attentive! Our waiter was also super nice. He checked on us frequently and gave us recommendations for our drinks. 10/10 the peach cider (not pictured) was super good. I'm a bit sensitive to bitter taste, so this was a hit! They don't brew it there; they have it in a can. 10/10 their nachos are very filling. It definitely filled up a party of 3 with some leftovers still. If you're looking for protein, this has plenty chicken in it! 9/10 the wings were great. We did choose for a spicier sauce and there was definitely that kick in it. The ranch does help with that kick without affecting the taste too much. 9/10 chicken wrap was yummy. The sauce that comes with it reminds me of the sauce they use in gyros. Definitely come here if you're looking for a place to chill. They do play sports on their TVs and I hear people come there to watch. Though it's a bit pricey, your serving size makes up for it!

I just enjoyed Thursday night $12 pizza and $6 beer night. Super fun and low-cost with friends! They had a DJ too! My group of eight ordered Margherita pizza, beer, sangria, fish and chips, barbecued pork sandwich, chicken, wrap, and Gorgonzola salad. Everyone loved their food. My total bill including tip was $22. I'll go back soon.

I met a friend for lunch at Buffalo Bills Brewery. Second time here and I really only came back for the fried pickles because they are bomb! Their selection of beer Is pretty good. The house red was my favorite (I dont remember the name ) The food was meh. Ordered the pastrami and my friend ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries. The pastrami was greasy but decent. The massive amount of fries was fun at first but then it just felt wasteful. Server was nice but the service was slow to start. It wasn't busy at all so I was surprised that the service was a little slower than expected. All in all, not the worst place to come for A sandwich and beer.

We are long time patrons but last night really made me question returning. Service was terrible. My husband had to go look for his beer after waiting way too long. Then the server drops off some food that was not what we ordered and promptly disappeared before we could ask. Then seever comes around and asks how things are so we told her the Caesar salad was inundated with goopy dressing. The manager did talk to us and asked the chef who said it was the same as always. It was not. Then the server comes by and apologizes for the wrong order and ww re-order it. This took forever. Finally we aaked for a take out box that also took forever. I understand expenses are up for restaurants but so are the prices. But the way to keep customers is to provide competant fast service, not what we received!

Very nice craft beer. Clean food that is well made. Fish and chips in particular are excellent.

I went to the Buffalo Bills yesterday and I ate all my food after that. I woke up this morning with food poisoning. I would not recommend this business ever again, and I would not see myself coming here after yesterday.

We have been here a handful of times now, and it's been great! Ivan is suuuuuper nice and such a great bar tender! If you get the chance, just chit chat with him! He's been working here for a long time. I like that it's a local spot to chill and eat and watch sports! Their beers are good and the happy hour is FANTASTIC! Food is delicious and we always try something new every time. Again, HAPPY HOUR is worth it!

Well, history alone says you NEED to come here......The FIRST Brewpub in America.....look it up! Anyways, they closed after Co-Vid, but were bought out and reopened. They have done an excellent job of keeping what was familiar, while elevating what was needed. Their food is now amazing! No longer " pub food", you will get a culinary experience! Their Happy Hour menu is AWESOME! So many good choices! I recommend one of the 4 slider options they have.....OR all four! The staff is attentive and awesome. SO friendly! Manager Alex knows how to staff appropriately for sure! Buffalo Bill's has been here since 1983. If you have never been....GO.....if you've been before, PLEASE go back and try them out again! The beer AND the food will have you coming back in for sure!

My husband and I decided to check out Buffalo Bill's Brewery after I attended a Yelp event here not too long ago. It was our first date night in 4.5 months (since having our baby)! We came on Valentine's Day. We ordered beers, burgers, and garlic fries. The garlic fries were good and crispy. The alimony ale beer is delicious. My Buffalo Bill's burger wasn't very good. I asked for medium rare but it was beyond well done, making it very dry. I should have spoken up about it, but I really don't like food getting wasted. The side salad with vinaigrette was good. My husband got the bacon onion burger. His ended up actually being medium rare and it was a lot better than my burger. His sweet potato waffle fries were good, but super crispy. I like crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, but it was just crispy all around. Our server was welcoming and friendly. The pricing was a much more than I expected. It may be more worthwhile to come with a group to enjoy the shareables.

We thought we were loosing Buffalo Bill's but thankfully they were bought and remained open. The food is subpar to say the least. Typical sandwiches, burgers and salads. The stand out here is definitely the beet. Lots of varieties. I'm a huge fan of the seasonal ales. The atmosphere is lively (Some would consider this noisy) the staff GREAT. This also is said for the service. If you're in the mood for a burger and a beer, I highly recommend Buffalo Bills.

I've been coming here with my dad since forever and he's been coming here 1987, needless to say we've spent many a great meal at this beautiful establishment. Covid hit them hard, if you know you know, but they're back and better than ever. AND with same SICK decor absolutely love it!!! It's Iconic!!! Today we kept it simple just a happy hour $20pizza and beer deal & a little Caesar salad action on the side and it was perfect! No complaints &

Nice place with good food and outdoor seating. Parking easy to access in lot next door. Service was excellent. We had a bottle of wine, margarita pizza (so cheesy) garlic fries, buffalo wings, and the kids chicken tenders. Very nice place!

The food was great, ambience fun and relaxed, and service above and beyond incredible. My mom and I enjoyed lunch at Buffalo Bill's last week, and I must give a special shout out to Azalea, our server who treated us like royalty. Thank you, Azalea for your wonderful service patience and kindness! We will be back.

Chill spot, good brew, and the specials started at 2:00, we walked in around 1:40 - I appreciate that he let me know if he entered my order before 2:00 I wouldn't get the discounted price. Nice customer service.

Customer service is excellent from wait staff to bar to Chef, and a young lady that seems to be managing it all. I'm SO GLAD they reopened!! The Gorgonzola salad is huge & delicious combo of all things great! Candied pecans, red onion, pears, sub dried tomatoes with a perfect vinegrette that does not over power the salad. I keep saying I will try something different but I keep ordering my favorites. Go & post what you order, it's ALL been excellent!

Food came fast and was delicious!! Service was great , the restaurant was nice and clean, great music played everyone had smiles on their faces :)

So happy they're back! Buffalo Bill's has been a happy hour destination, friends' night out spot, birthday venue, so I was truly tearful when they closed. I was equally emotional when they reopened. Some old faves are gone(bring back the charcuterie board, Buffalo Bill's had the best one before they became trendy) but the brews are still amazing and you can still enjoy good bar eats. The ambiance continues to be a mix of sports fans, dates, families, folks with dogs. The new servers are upbeat and knowledgeable. I plan to return on a regular basis.

Came for lunch, burger & sandwich was really good. Potato chips were great with the secret side sauce & garlic fries were yummm. Ambiance is nice ( during lunch ) as it being a brewery we didn't try any beer but maybe next time. Living in Hayward I doubt this will be our last time here. Service was great, can't remember the names of who we talked to but they were so very kind and accommodating.

Just a little update, so new ownership is awesome, food is better, service is stellar....... But don't drop Alimony! .... Best beer Buffalo Bills made!

We had been going to BB since the late 80's. After Covid they just couldn't get their magic back. We were there for the third time since the new owners took over and I am overjoyed to say it was amazing. We had a bit of everything- Gorgonzola garden salad, combo pizza, BB cheese burger and fried zucchini. A couple different beers and soda. The food and drink were outstanding. If you were an old time buffalo Bill's customer the beers were distinct. It's the same if not better. Our server was fantastic. He had been with BB since 1999, left and lucky for us returned. We will be back... soon!! Run don't walk you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Reuben sandwich. Great salads. Cold drinks. Service is welcoming and fast [lunchtime). A local gem.

Can we start by saying how happy I am that the owners of Metro Taquero/Casa Del Toro/The Mexican were able to reopen this place. Also, I can't believe I haven't written a review for the amount of times I've came here. They have 2 outdoor patio areas which are heated, one in front and the other on the side and of course indoor dining. Their menu is very similar to before they closed, but now it's a bit more elevated and it is amazing! There's nothing that I didn't enjoy and now they have a Hazy IPA which is the first time they've produced a Hazy. I was helped by Lucy and Ivan and their service was stupendous. There is lots of Peking available as it's located in downtown Hayward. Try them out, you won't regret the food or the great beer.

Came here for happy hour to kill some time and enjoyed some delicious sliders, the pulled pork one is probably the best. Beer is good, I enjoyed my flight. It's a good find in Hayward, located in the city center flush with other restaurants.

Im glad they are open now! Seems like other people are excited as well since they were packed when we went on Thursday. Menu was still the same like before but when food arrived , it was kinda disappointing(see picture). Service needed to be improved. I am awared that they were just re-opened but asking customers if they could take a plate away while customers still eating was not an excuse. Also asking if we want some dessert or bill while still eating pizza was not an excuse either Well, will be back again to support local business and hopefully they are better

Food was good, went on a Sunday around brunch there was no wait which was a good thing for us and our food came out quick the customer service and recommended items off the menu from our serve were 10/10. Parking is easy around this area.

I had such a great experience at Buffalo Bills recently, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Courtney! From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, so sweet and funny, and genuinely attentive without ever being overbearing. Courtney really knows the menu and the brewery offerings--she gave awesome recommendations that totally hit the mark (seriously, try the jalapeno burger and ask her which beer to pair it with!). She checked in at all the right times, made sure our drinks were never empty, and handled everything with a calm, friendly vibe--even when the place started getting busy. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking to sit in her section again. She's a total pro and a bright spot in an already great spot!

The food is always extremely tasty but the service is outstanding! Especially the young girl behind the bar/ manager! She's definitely a multi talented and works the floor and the bar! She just recently changed her look with the beautiful eye glasses!! Thank you for your service

Courtney is in my top 5 of best waitresses. I came with no expectations and didn't know what I wanted, she had patience and recommendations. Food was 9/10 while service was 10/10.

I came here over the weekend with my family and I will be back! Everything was yummy but the devil Mac and cheese has my heart . Coco was our server and she was so sweet and accommodating! Such a cute spot to get some drinks and surprisingly delicious food. 10/10
