had an amazing experience here! well worth the stop! they pressured me into sampling several things from the menu as i had not been before and i deffinantly dont regret any of it! all of their food is amazing! they had some good country tunes playing also, added that southern charm!

The staff are absolutely fantastic, the brisket chilli is out of the world. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order here and the staff won’t steer you wrong. We were just driving past and were hungry but would make a special trip to come back here! We tried pulled pork, brisket, ribs, baked potato and sausage! The sides are self serve which is great

A+ experience. Worth the stop. Their Banana 🍌 pudding game is A+. Don't pass up the sides they are executed well. The service was great and it was super clean! (That is why there is a picture of the bathroom in this review. My favorites of the proteins were the smoked bologna and the turkey. We fed a family of 6 with deserts and drinks for 110$. That is a really great value for Texas BBQ.

Let me put yall on something, everything I had was top notch, I got the 3 meat plate, Brisket was tender and juicy, the sausage was absolutely a knockout, the chili o dear lord forgive me it felt like a sin to eat it, I truly believe it could bring world peace and end every war that’s going on!!!!!!!! Do not pass up the chance to stop in and try their food, I will stop every time I get the chance. I almost forgot if you need their bbq sauce just don’t, you’ll ruin the experience. It’s phenomenal sauce by the way, the meats so good you just don’t need it.

The 2 young men working provided excellent, fast, friendly service!!! Food was good, just wish the brisket had a little flavor but both the BBQ sauces were very good. Good portions for the price.

We were on a road trip & stopped by this restaurant. From the moment we got in we felt so warm and welcomed by the friendly and kind owners. The barbecue was amazing and worth every penny. Totally recommend it if you like authentic Texan cuisine.

Absolutely blown away by Buffalo Creek BBQ. The ribs were incredible! Smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. The brisket? Melted in my mouth. Every side we tried was spot-on, clearly made with care and attention. What really stood out, though, was the service. The two brothers who own and run the place not only cook the food themselves, but also make you feel like family the moment you walk in. It’s hands-down some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced in a long time. I’ll be stopping by every chance I get. Thank you, gentlemen—you’ve got something special here. 🙏

My wife and I dropped in and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I tried the 3 meat plate with brisket, sausage and ribs. All three were excellent, but I would say the highlight was the ribs, but you won't go wrong with any of them. They also shared a sample of the turkey and it is excellent and moist. The regular bbq sauce is perfect also. We tried the spicy, and it has a great flavor profile but it was a little too spicy for me to thoroughly enjoy, but if your spicy hot tolerance is a little higher you might like it. Sides are solid too. Nice and clean bbq joint. Definitely worth stopping in here!

We went in late to get brisket for a family dinner the next day. We were also hungry and on our way to visit other family members. We grabbed a few dinners plus three pounds of brisket. The service was friendly and great! The food was exactly what we wanted and the brisket had a perfect smoke.

Really good food. Buffet service on sides. Very friendly service. Prices are a little high but you get plenty for what you pay.

This place is a hidden gem. Right off 35 in Hillsboro! Never heard of it before until my aunt told me about it. First of all, Chuy is amazing. Such a great personality. Even let us try a few items. You know the bbq is amazing when you don't need bbq sauce. Those ribs!! Perfection. Now they did sell out kinda early. I got the last three ribs at around 6pm on a Saturday. Thought that was kinda crazy. Hope they are prepared for the solar eclipse next week. Now we didn't get any sides but the beans looked good. Brisket was tender. Ribs were so good. We got bologna but that was for my child so I didn't taste it. I tried the brisket chili as a sample and it was good as well. Pie wasn't homemade. It was ok.

Stopped on the way home from Waco with our son and grandsons from Illinois and loved it!! We had to try everything and it was all delicious ! The brisket was outstanding as was the smoked turkey! A meal came with 2 sides all of which was wonderful! Loved the cornbread salad! So glad we stopped here! The staff was very helpful answering all our questions ! Will definitely go there again!

Great service and friendly greeting when you walk in the door. We all got the mini brisket plate which comes with two sides. Brisket was flavorful and tender. They also have spicy sauce which was good but a little too spicy for some.

Tried it for the first time tonight and it was delicious!!!! Friendly service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Great place right off the highway with good food a retro vibe and really super friendly people working there

I am a resident of Town Hall Estates in Hillsboro, Texas. Several of us ate lunch at you restaurant. It was rave reviews all around! Having had Buffalo Creek in Cleburne for many years I knew somewhat about their menu. Cornbread Salad was my choice side to go with my chopped bbq sandwich. It was delicious! Oh yea I forgot the banana pudding was fantastic too. The staff was very courteous,and helpful. We definitely will be back ! Thank you for making our luncheon special!

Food was good and service was nice and friendly. Have to try the brisket chili, best dish I've had in a while. Full of flavor, I really enjoyed it.

Staff is very friendly. But would not recommend this place if craving real bbq. Brisket and ribs taste like they are cooked in oven with liquid smoke.
