PepsiCo Game Day Grub Match: Which of these three NFL athletes will win? | Eater

"Selected as the prize spotlight for the PepsiCo Game Day Grub Match, this restaurant agreed to add the winning athlete’s chicken wing to its Super Bowl LII weekend menu in Minneapolis and the competition also awarded $25,000 to a food bank chosen by the winner. Competitors were required to create wings using two PepsiCo products and one of the restaurant’s wing sauces; the ultimate victor was Nick Mangold, whose spicy Cool Ranch Doritos–crusted wings dressed with hot buffalo sauce and a Sabra yogurt dip impressed the judges and secured the feature menu spot." - Vox Creative

Google
I've ordered takeout a few times from here. Service is usually slower than your estimated pickup time, sometimes by as much as 20 minutes. Wings can be rather small at times. Food quality is fine.

The greeter, Armando, was one of the nicest guys I’ve met. Had a good chat about football (soccer) while I was waiting for my food. I told him I was low on battery and willingly offered to charge my phone while waiting. Great customer service and top quality food as always

Google
They claimed they were short staffed so it took 20 minutes to get seated. Our waiter (younger gentleman) was pleasant but not very efficient. Also, workers were lazily wandering around instead of checking in with customers or helping. It took 10 minutes to get my beverage even thought the bartender was chatting leisurely with workers. The wings were overcooked and they forgot my side of fries. My son’s burger was okay. I am not expecting much going to a restaurant at the MOA (especially BWWs…), but it failed to meet even those low standards; a little bit of supervision/management would go a long way towards improving the customer experience.

Listen to all the reviews and do not waste your time going to this location. We are from out of town and assumed this would be a safe place to eat our usual favorite but we were met with the worst service we have ever experienced in any restaurant. They sat us at a table we couldn’t use a high chair without giving us the option to wait for the proper table. After seating us and realizing this we asked to move and were told they didn’t have available tables. I got up and looked for a table that had just been cleaned and asked the manager at the front if we could be seated there instead and he said yes so we moved ourselves. Afterwards the waiters were whispering like children to themselves loud enough for us to hear that they were not going to help us because we moved. We waited 15-20 minutes before we decided to walk out since nobody took our order.

This is my second attempt and will be my last. Our server was fantastic! Just want to get that out of the way. Ordered a dryrub 10 piece and it was dry...im talking in the middle of the Mojave desert 🏜 dry. They brought out another batch...same dry chicken just slapped soooooo much more seasoning on it so still was unable to eat.

Google
My husband and I used to frequent this place. But we stopped doing it because the attention is so bad. I don't know if it's racism but really nothing else in the entrance we can wait 10 minutes for a table and then they talk rudely to you. We love buffalo but we will not attend this venue anymore.

Google
Great place for chicken wings. The best of all is the service, people really enjoy what they do. But also the food was really good. I didn't expect much from a wings chain but I was gladly surprised.

Google
First time going here, didn't disappoint... ordered chicken salad a little to much dressing but tasty, ordered chicken tacos , kids had wings with medium sauce and fries plus mack and cheese, had to send back Mac and cheese because it was dry so we had some redone and it was perfect. Everyone ate everything very please. Even went to the local store when we got back home and got some medium Buffalo wild wings sauce.

Yelp
Good prices for happy hour and a nice bartender. The 6 pc wing we ordered tasted like they were sitting for a bit. They were fine but I didn't feel great after eating them. Was a chill environment though... almost empty in a way.

Yelp
Long wait of 30 minutes to sit, the food came fast but was bad. The bone in chicken was dry, the chicken tenders were small and the fry's were floppy. We didn't get the tater tots we ordered, and then we got the wrong sauce.

Yelp
This location is very hit or miss. We've been turned away before as the restaurant was nearly empty but they were only seating a few tables due to staffing. Also times when we wait a bit at the host stand before giving up because there's no one there to seat us. When we are able to dine in, it's almost always slower customer wise when we go but the service is even slower. The food is fine. I always get a buffalo wrap w/ potato wedges. Overall it's probably not the idea dining out experience but when I crave it, I'll willing to put up with the bad service I guess.

Yelp
They were out of food options - chips, onion rings etc. its a chain restaurant. This shouldn't happen. The beer was cold. The wings were tasty. We sat at the bar. Football was on. Service was good.

Yelp
The food was great. Awesome boneless wings, the smash patty cheeseburger was one of the best I've had in a long time. Our friends enjoyed their chicken sandwich. The reason that I'm only giving it to stars is the service was terrible, but not because our server wasn't trying hard. Hey Buffalo, wild wings! I know you're not super worried about repeat customers at Mall of America, but adding a couple more servers would go a long way in adding to the guest experience. You're saving money by not fully staffing the place, but you're hurting yourself more in the end.

Yelp
I was not thrilled by this experience. The wings, curds, fries, beer were all to be expected (I've been to a lot of BWWs), but.... The greeting at the door was gut-wrenching. Actually it wasn't a greeting at all-- more like me asking if I could eat there and be seated. And apparently it took maximum effort on their part to get me a table -- one of only two occupied tables in the restaurant at that time. The level of interest never really got better throughout my stay. With a plethora of dining options at MOA, my level of interest in returning to this Buffalo Wild Wings is equally low.

Yelp
i don't usually rate places negatively but this was by far one of the worst experiences i've ever had at ANY restaurant. we ordered 2 orders of wings & the 9.99 apps. the food was not good by any means, the salsa and moz sticks were the only things even partially edible. the service was terrible to say the least. the waitress we had never introduced herself and treated us as if we were a table she could just pass by every 30 minutes. we ordered another round of appetizers and never received them. i ordered a margarita and got a flavored one instead of regular like i specifically had said. i am never and i mean never coming back here. do not go here unless you want below average service and food. worst experience ever and i've been a server for 5 years. if i could rate it negative stars i most most certainly would. 1 star is too generous.

Jack P.

Yelp
The worst service ever. The waiter (don't know her name) and other servers would constantly hang out in the last booth near the bar instead of asking us and others if we needed anything. The food was literally awful but what made it worse is the server could have cared less about us or anybody. Lazy.

Yelp
Ate lunch here on Friday. Pretty dead but during the week so understandable. Service was super fast. We asked him questions and he had quick answers. We ordered wings lunch special and the buffalo chicken wrap lunch special. Felt like they brought it out in less than 10 minutes. The tots are great (not a fan of it costing an extra $1) and the wrap was just as expected when I go to BWWs. My son loved his wings. Nothing really to complain about.

Yelp
Absolutely worst experience ever. Ordered a special of some sort and a couple of beers. They asked if our 2 daughters (both under 2 years old) wanted anything and of course I said no, we can share our food with them. The waiter proceeded to tell me that with the special you "cannot share". Like not even with my two babies? I brushed it off annoyingly and just ordered them an extra side of fries, which was a waste of food obviously. Our girls were a little wound up and not acting great so we asked for a container to go, and the waiter proceeded to tell us with the specific special you can not take your food to go. Like what in the actual F?! I cannot take the food I paid for with me? So now it's just going to get thrown away and wasted? The waiter threw a fit because we questioned that and stormed off to get a manager. The manager was cool and gave us the to go containers. At that point I didn't even want the food. Terrible waiter, terribly loud atmosphere, fries were nasty and wings were over sauced. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the manager was thoughtful and had some common sense.

Yelp
We came for Friday happy hour after checking their website for specials, but the server informed us that a advertised beer special was no longer available (voodoo Ranger IPA) even though they still had that beer on tap but it was at a higher price than currently advertised on their site. The beer came after we had almost finished our food ever though we sat near the bar. I talked politely to the server, who was defensive, then the manager who said we would get a discount but when the tab came there was none. We went to hooters and got great service.

Yelp
Came today for the AYCE boneless wings at 5:30pm. It is now 7:30pm and I've only seen our waiter 3 times. No one has come and refilled any water, or asked if we're okay. Multiple orders wrong, food takes a long time to come out. Wouldn't recommend this location for the AYCE or if you're looking for a quick bite.

Yelp
What is going on here?! BWW used to be the IT place when it first opened, but this location is NOT it! There are so many food options at MOA ... choose wisely. I wish I had looked at the reviews before we chose this one. The first 10 seconds were great with a warm welcome at the front desk. Got our food ordered pretty darn quick. Deep fried pickles were fine (and generous amount). The order of 15 boneless wings came out as traditional, but were replaced with boneless after a short wait. But half were piping hot and half were room temperature. The fries looked like they came from the bottom of the bag and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. No celery or carrots ... is that an extra cost now? Typically teen boys finish everything on their plates, but not this time. And then I made the mistake of using their restroom. It smelled like the old oil the fries were cooked in and was in need of some serious TLC.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Don't waste your time. No restaurant at the MOA is really worth it but this should be at the bottom of your options. We sat here for a few hours, had some drinks, an app, and just wanted to watch sports. The tables around us weren't bused the entire time we were there. The staff was fully capable and not that busy where that should be an issue. We couldn't get the water's attention because I get refills. Just awful.

Carlen G.

Yelp
Awful service, food was cold, was told we were unable to watch the game we wanted. If I could I would leave 0 stars

Yelp
Took to long for them to take my order, the menu was dirty with guacamole. Over it was nice and the food was delicious! Would recommend....?

Yelp
Really disappointed in the service and quality of the food. We were told by the host that the only available seating was at the bar area. The bartender ignored us for about five minutes. After placing our drink order, he rudely asked us if we were going to order food and that they close in 35 minutes. We quickly ordered our food as we felt rushed and like our business didn't matter. When I received my food I was shocked at the portion size of the Buffalo wrap. It was honestly so thin and small. For reference, my hands are small and in the winter I wear children's gloves. I could not believe I paid $12 for a baby wrap and bad service! I do not recommend going to this location.

Matt A.

Yelp
Probably one of the worst restaurant dining experiences I've had in a long time. Employees just wandering around dirty tables, music is not consistent so the vibe is always a little chaotic feeling. We got asked again if we wanted to order more food for the "all you can eat" after she had already taken our order for more food. I think if you had a genuine concern it would take an hour to find the manager.

Christy F.

Yelp
The service was terrible. The restaurant was not busy at all. 3 people at the front desk, several other employees just standing around, but it took several minutes for us to get a table. When they called us to take us to a table, they still had to go and clean one off, so it was confusing about what all those people had been doing. We waited several minutes to even have someone come to take our drink order. We were about to get up to leave when he finally came over to the table. The guy who took our order was nice, but just couldn't remember anything. We waited for some of our drinks until we were halfway finished eating. One of the employees walking around had his pants hanging so low that his underwear were clearly seen. Not very professional. The food was at least hot and good, and we didn't wait long for it. That was at least one good thing. Unfortunately, it seems as if Buffalo Wild Wings is going down. Sad.

Yelp
While in Minn, MN last Sunday, I was @ the MOA & wanted to watch my game being a HUGE Detroit LIONS fan! Yes, I knew I was in Vikings country, but we were not playing them on Sun. As I enter, the host stand staff (mgr) told me I had to go to the bar to see My Team! When I get to the bar, I sit down & I ask the bartender if she could pls put one of the bar TV's on the Lions game, like I was told by the mgr. She then points to a TV way off to the right of the bar, one in which I could not see from where I was seated. I asked her if I could sit in one of the seats near that tv, she told I had to go see the host for a table. It was only me, so I did not need a whole table. I began too trash talk about the success of my team in their previous season, in which we WON the NFC division title. I told them we were taking the division again, in my normal trash talking bantor. I was then approached by the bar mgr again, & he told me I had to leave because the "Bartender felt disrespected!" I was appalled!!! I had never been thrown out of a bar on a football Sunday, & esp not due to 'Trash talking!' This establishment is a Sports Bar, right? I am no aware of a sports bar where trash doesn't take place. I had not called her out of her name, nor said anything directly to offend her! So I was in complete surprise by his actions! I left, but told him I didn't like their food anyway! I did get his name, because I too felt disrespected and discriminated against. I will be contacting my lawyer in regard to the treatment at this restaurant/bar. I would NOT recommend this bar to anyone who is NOT a MN Vikings fan, you will not b welcome wearing your team's logo there! #humiliated

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would manger was rude and disrespectful!! So basically I tired to explain the redemption of my sides on the app and he immediately said "we don't give free food out here sorry" even tho that's not what we where trying to do!! Then as I went to put my bag down on the counter he proceeded to follow me and said to me and my kids we can't have you walk out of here and not pay even though I explained what I was doing and that his attitude wasn't very manger like ... then said he couldn't care and told us that he could get us banned ! As we where leaving he shut the door and said "you aren't welcomed anymore you Mexicans" INFRONT OF MY KIDS!! This is infuriating!! Definitely wouldn't go besides this interaction place was dirty and disgusting

Yelp
Unbelievable...one of the biggest games in college football this year and, after I'm seated and order, the server tells me the manager has decided to close early at 4:30 and not put on the Michigan/Alabama game. Not even going to show the pregame coverage. I drank my beverage, canceled my food order and left. Found another sports bar in the Mall of America who us happy to show the game and is stating open late. Wow!
google avatar

Josh N.

Yelp
Such mediocre food. I would never choose to eat here. The group I was with chose it. Foods not terrible but not great either. Nice tv set up and decent beer selections but there are so many other places to choose from. The wings are nowhere close to good either. Bonus points though for military discount.

Yelp
I hardly ever have a bad experience at the Bdubs at the mall.. Until one Friday night.. maybe it was an off night but the experience was horrible. When we were seated we figure it would be a quick bite. The place wasn't busy. Our waiter didn't not come greet us instead the hostess took over for him, this was about 20 minutes after we were seated. She then took our order.. brought out our appetizers.. Kept forgetting our condiments.. we had to ask her a few times.. (again it wasn't even busy) we sat there after we finished our appetizer for a whole hour.. then we approached the waiting staff and asked what is taking our wings so long? THEY HADNT EVEN PUT OUR ORDER IN. She "forgot".. it was very frustrating because we already went in there starving and craving wings. I gave them 3 stars because they did feel bad for forgetting and didn't make us pay for anything we had already got (drinks and appetizers). So we didn't walk out real hANGRY. just annoyed. I would still go back, maybe that just wasn't their night. Most times they are always on point.

Yelp
Recently, my family of 11 (including myself) decided to eat dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. First of all, we had a 50 minute wait, although there were lots of open seating. Regardless of this, we gave them the benefit of the doubt, because we were unsure if they were understaffed or if there were any other variables to why it was taking so long. Next, once they seated us, they separated our group, our 6-year old kids seated on one side of the restaurant, while all the adults were on the opposite side. Although we asked if our family could be seated altogether, they denied us and ignored us multiple times. There were clearly large open tables all around us that could seat our large group, but with no reason they continued being rude to our party. My family is not from the United States, we are from Mexico. So English is not our first language and it's very apparent from our accent. When speaking to any of the workers here, they were not patient with us and extremely rude with the language they were using and overall at the end refused our service. The worst of it, was the general manager, he doesn't care about the customers well beings or their needs.
google avatar

Victor D.

Yelp
Service was fantastic and friendly and the atmosphere was incredibly clean and welcoming. Overall this was a positive experience and I will consider visiting this location again when in the area. I was a bit disappointed when my wings came out and they were warm but not hot. Our orders came out very quick and to be honest we were in a hurry so I didn't say anything about the temperature of the wings. Besides this, the quality of the food was fantastic and the beer was very cold.
google avatar

Elena T.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times and never had a bad experience but was never blown away. It's always a little weird because the hosts never seem super friendly. They will always greet but don't necessarily smile. The times, however, that has been the best have been when I sit at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, and you get attentive service. The food is always solid and in line with what you would expect from Buffalo Wild Wings. I've noticed as I walk out, I am always thanked for my visit by any employee that I pass, and I really like that. It's also nice they have their own bathrooms within the restaurant. They are really only a couple smiling faces from a 5 star.

Yelp
I wish i could rate for different aspects. For seating and host services, would so get 2 stars. We got there at 5:30 on a Sunday and waited 20 minutes as we stared at many, many open tables. In fact, when we were finally seated it was at one of the tables that had been open the entire time. While we were being shown the table, the host was curt and confused when we asked for a gaming tablet. Luckily we were served by Devon who was attentive and quick with everything. Thanks Devon! Food was good and pretty quick. Wings were crispy and hot!

Jewels V.

Yelp
I am sad to say that I will no longer be giving BWW my time & money anymore and especially at this location. Too many times have my orders been wrong or something was missing. This time was even worse. I was fine with waiting 30 min for food, but unfortunately just to be disappointed again. When I brought my food home, I had an order of wings missing. So I called the location and they were able to give us wings quick- thanks to the manager. But as I took a bite out of my chicken sandwich, I noticed to my right that there was a curly black hair COOKED inside my chicken sandwich. I pulled out the hair to make sure I was not seeing things, but as you will see pictures- there was in fact a hair in my sandwich. if you can, avoid this location!!!!

Yelp
Wild wings with some beer batter onion rings is the so delicious, we tried the Asian Zing wings and some Medium Buffalo but also ask for an extra container of Asian Zing sauce to dip the wings and that was spot on! in this very cold Minnesota weather, good job wing Chef!! Now for the One Star is for the unprofessional Greeters and front entrance staff, as I arrived the employees where cursing at each other and what seem to be a supervisor also told one of the employees I will send your a** home. Now I will stick to my local BWW restaurant! And avoid MOA No respect to the Customers!!
google avatar

Dianna N.

Yelp
The Mall of America is already hectic and this Buffalo Wild Wings is no different. No issues with being seated or having our orders taken. The food was good. Been some time since I've eaten at a Buffalo Wild Wings. Their wings have improved. They're much meatier than the past and there's new flavor options. Personally, enjoyed The dry rubs. However, our service was poor. Our drinks weren't refilled and took 35 minutes until we got our bill. We had to ask another server to grab to go boxes. Overall, I wouldn't come back to this location if I can help it due to the chaotic service.

Yelp
My wife and I more than enjoyed our visit to BW tonight. The wait was short tonight considering the NFL Playoffs were on TV. Our waitress tonight was friendly and always on top of things. My wife was bummed out that they no longer serve their fried mushrooms, so instead we got the fried cheese curbs, which were a good starter. We ordered the large traditional wings with potato wedges. Lemon Pepper is always a must, the Thai Curry flavor was spot on but has zero heat to it, the Desert Heat also had no heat to it but the flavor was good and Mango Habanero was good but lacked a kick. Usually most of the wings we get pack a serious punch but tonight all of the flavors were refreshing and just tasted really good but lacked heat.

Shylin K.

Yelp
We come in, at least 5 employees are standing around when we walk in and nobody offered to find us a seat. Apparently these are "self seatings" which I've never experienced at any other BWW. We sit down, two girls are wondering who's going to be our host. They aren't proactive. Everyone is just talking and lounging around. I didn't really feel welcomed.

Yelp
This was the worst bww experience I've ever had. After traveling all day and not eating my family and I came here we were starving and thought we could get our food quick because we only saw 4 tables in the restaurant. Boy was I wrong. Our server came up to us got our drink order came back with the drinks and we then ordered appetizers. 10 minutes later she came back to take out food order. We sat there for 45 minutes waiting for our appetizer. While we were waiting I saw our server just talking to her coworkers in the back by the bar for quite a while and went back there several times to talk. When she finally came over to give us a refill my father in law asked where our food was she said she just checked and it will be right out and he said our appetizer too and she said yes. Our entrees came before our appetizer. She never apologized our explained us why it took so long she didn't care at all. Our food came she came by once to check on us didn't even ask us how are food was (which it was terrible cold like it was sitting in the window forever cause she was to busy talking to get it). Then half way through our meal she dropped our check and didn't come back until she asked us if we were ready to pay. I asked her about why the appetizer took so long and she gave us a weird excuse, but I do understand them being short staffed in the kitchen but they were not busy at all, and still no apology for the appetizers coming out after 45 minutes. It was a very poor experience. #stillhungry

Yelp
I like Buffalo Wild wings normally but I have tried this place several times and it is usually a 3 but today was worse than my other visits. My visit actually started well with an attentive, friendly host but the waitress sounded monitored and like she was being held at gunpoint to talk to me. She was okay Service - wise. My visit keeps getting worse. I love Buffalo wings and I haven't had them in awhile. I usually get the bone in wings but the boneless were on a. 70 cent special today. I thought that I would give them a try. There was plenty of sauce which I have found to be an issue in the past at other locations. As I ate them, I didn't care for the breading so I started directing them and removing the batter from them. That is when I see that the batter didn't seem cooked and I touched it and it felt gooey. I wasn't concerned just picking at my food and a young (looked 20) man came out, I can guess that he was a manager and he asked me about my food and I showed him. I stopped eating my meal at this point. He asked if I wanted 1 or 2 more and I expressed to him that I was finished and pushed my half eaten, dissected meal away from me. He said I haven't seen that before and just walked away. Didn't see him again. I asked the waitress for my bill and paid and left. I am done here. You would think he could have apologized, gave a discount or at least take the food back to the kitchen to show them and teach the staff but no. I will have to go upstairs to Hooters from now on. I just have to make sure to cancel the breading they put on the wings.

Yelp
We had excellent customer service. The wait went fast; and the server we had was very kind and efficient. The cheesecake bites are the best! The boneless wings are very good; but hot!

Tatiana T.

Yelp
1) when we came there were 3 employee chatting at the hostess station and It almost felt like we bothered or interrupted them when we arrived 2) the place was half empty between 2-3 pm but we waited for our food for over 30 min 3) my salad had rotten avocado and lettuce... 4) manager said he agrees w avocado but could live with spoiled lettuce ‍ Lastly the manager came to the table and told us not only would he remove the salad off the bill but he would also offer an additional discount for the lengthy wait. When the bill came there was no additional discount though he did remove the salad. Terrible experience overall. The owners should not be allowed to franchise as they have extremely poor customer service and quality food control. Overall this was the worst experience we've ever had with Buffalo wild wings in the last five years that we have started frequenting this brand.

Yelp
We've always had a good experience coming to this location prior to COVID, and now with the precautions they are still a great place! The hosts (Eli I think was one of their names, the other I didn't catch his name but he was tall and walked with a limp when he showed us our table - both very nice gentleman!) We had a 15-20 mins wait and they sent us a text when it was ready which was great so we could browse the mall a bit while waiting. The dining area followed distance guidelines by only having 50% capacity. I loved it so much because it made it so much quieter in the restaurant! Our waiter was John, who was very nice and happily answered any questions we had. Their new cauliflower wings are VERY good. The batter on them is light, which made them perfectly crispy! Not thick battered like their regular boneless wings. I got the Asian zing flavor with ranch. I will definitely want to get those again!

Jo s.

Yelp
I'm usually consistently disappointed at BWW. I somehow always make it back because I can't find spicy enough wings anywhere else. The spiciest wings at Wing Stop are just mild. This time it was pretty good. Bartender was good. Food took too long but the wings were worth it. Blazing Carolina Reaper and Mango Habañero satisfied my craving. Bartender was pretty good and fries were small and just ok. $30 for just myself for wings, fries and 1 beer. That's a bit pricy in my book.

Been here afew times but gotta say this last time was a joke. About 20 workers about 10 customers and took 10 minutes ATLEAST to get a server. Then took 17 minutes to bring drinks out then another 12 minutes for food order. Watched the girl stand around was the worst part. The food came out after being there an hour. We both asked for extra crispy but was slimy so asked for them to be fixed. Wanna talk about pissed off they brought them back and you could tell they didn't rinse sauce off at all so the sauce burnt on them from throwing them into the oil with it on. So my wife didn't eat and the girl didn't get a tip and we will stay across the hall at BUBBA GUMPS!

Yelp
I wish I could give zero stars. Went there last night looking for a nice experience after shopping. Upon entering, there was a horrible smell like sewer or garbage. The greeter could not have been less helpful on seating. We passed a dozen dirty tables and the floor was littered also. The bathroom was filthy with gang graffiti and profanities all over the stalls. I was appalled that I had let my 10 year old grand-daughter go in there. The waitress was "training" so we had to wait for her trainer every time we wanted anything. What a runaround. Took forever to get our food. Was just OK. I could make better at home. Got out of there in the nick of time to run for the exit in Macy's. $52 for horribleness.

Yelp
After reading other reviews I thought how bad could it get? It really wasn't bad. It wasn't amazing, just average I'd say, but still satisfying. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and were helped right away. Other people may have had issues as this is a high traffic area. We came at 11:30 on a Thursday. It took 10 minutes to get our wings. I had traditional and my friend had boneless. He got the 70 cent wing deal. I had honey bbq and parmesan garlic and thought the parmesan ones were a tad spicy but I had ranch to dip them in. I was satisfied. I don't think we were there even an hour.

Yelp
We stopped by the location at the Mall of America and there was a line to have dinner at 6:30 but they informed everyone that they will only be doing to go orders and will not be able to seat anyone. This was disappointing as my kiddos and I wanted chicken wings and it was only 6:30 at night. They missed out on quite a few customers due to their lack of customer service and staff.

Yelp
Off the bat when I arrived at this restaurant we were informed by the hostess that we could get take out or we could be seated but that "the servers don't want to serve" so me and my husband were pretty skeptical about how the service would be. We had an old waitress with short burgundy hair who was very rude to us and only let us order drinks even though we knew what we wanted to eat because "they seated her another table again" she has attitude and would walk away from our table and other tables shaking her head in disbelief. We arrived at 8:30pm and the restaurant closed at 10pm. There was no reason why she should have been complaining and shaking her head for doing her job. Will not be re-visiting this location or tipping her.

Yelp
I like BWW's and make it to a location every few months. The Mall of America location was handling Covid restrictions appropriately and spacing people out nicely. We only ordered tenders and a few drinks, so things were easy to prepare. The reason for the rating was the very nice and friendly server named Olivia. She chatted and suggested a few things and seemed very happy to be there and wanted to be sure we had a pleasant time.

Yelp
Wow. I had a so-so experience at Buffalo Wild Wings last week for lunch in Roseville. So I thought I'd give them another chance and went to the Bloomington/MOA location. Let me tell you the Buffalo Wild Wings experience got worse. The entire restaurant was dirty. Water spills on the floor, the bathroom unclean (big No No for me), and we were sitting in the bar near one of the drink stations. That should have been the sign for me to turn and run. Our server, Lauren, was very nice, but we only saw her four or five times during the entire visit, and only had our drinks refilled once. When the food came out the food runner said, "Who had the salad?" My answer: "We both had salads." When she said, "Who had the wings?" I said, "Which wings?", and she could not identify the Lemon Pepper wings. They were out of fat free Ranch, so I asked what other fat free dressings they had, and she had to ask someone. She never returned with my dressing. Too hungry to wait for Lauren to return, I began to eat my salad, sans dressing. Finally, Lauren came over and I told her about the dressing, and she came back with some. Based on this visit, I would not have to return to a Buffalo Wild Wings ever again. The food wasn't that outstanding, and the lack of service makes me want to spend my consumer dollars elsewhere. If I'm craving wings, I can always go to that other place where they also serve wings. Now what's it called again???

Yelp
I am glad the MOA has a BWW, but it's not my favorite. The Bar area is just too small, the bar itself is extremely small like maybe only 10 stools total, the rest of the "Bar" space is high tops. I understand the dining room takes up most of the space to accommodate families and groups visiting the mall, but damn! This is the closest BWW to me and I like having some beers! The TV set up is decent and for it being in the MOA there are still usually open spaces to sit which is cool. Definitely a good addition to the Mall dining choices. It's consistent with other BWW and provides one of the only "Sports Bar" options other than Hooters. Not a lot to say here, if you're shopping and feel like some wings and beer BWW is a valid option.

Yelp
This was our end of the line restaurant picked. After weighing all th other options down restaurant row, we settled on this one. No wait, immediate seating and less crowded. Pleasantly surprised by the great lunch specials and prices. My dad and I both ordered the traditional bone in wings with fries. I want to say there were about 8 each. For the price it was a great lunch deal. Why do I only seem to ever eat celery with wings. Their celery was thick and crunchy- I ate every last piece of celery. My mom ordered the asian zing salad. She said it was good, but the dressing a little spicy for her. Service was good. Bathrooms were nicer than expected. Needed to be cleaned, but nice and spacious. Decent option for a quick lunch.

Yelp
I don't know if my waitress was high on drugs or just overwhelmed but she consistently messed my order up. She even messed up the order for the couple behind me. The food took almost forever to come out. Idk what's going on with Buffalo Wild Wings but they aren't the same as they were 10 years ago
