We’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at the beautiful The Builders Building in Chicago a few times now, and it is stunning every single time. The architecture gives you clean lines and incredible light that photographs perfectly. The staff is polished and professional, which helps the day move smoothly for everyone. As a wedding florist I visit and design at many venues. Builders BLDG has inspired me to write my first venue review 🤗 From the minute I met Makayla (Event Sales Manager) I knew it was going to be a great experience ! She was SO helpful and so pleasant to work with. As for the catering team (Prime & Provisions), there was such a great energy with that team. The way they vibed and worked together was really nice to see. Even the security guards were kind and helpful. A gorgeous venue overall ! Thanks for such a wonderful experience ! ☺️

Being part of the Lilies of Hope Fundraising Gala 2025 at Builders BLDG as Captured Moments Collective Photo Booth vendor was an incredible experience!✨ The venue is modern, spacious, and perfect for elegant events. The team was professional and great to work with. Our burgundy backdrop and custom photo designs complemented the event beautifully. Guests loved capturing joyful moments all night and taking home printed keepsakes. We’d be happy to return for future events!

We hosted our company's holiday party here and were blown away all the way around. From the very first stages of planning, Makayla was amazing to work with and made all my visions come to life. The food and drinks the night of were delicious, and the service was great. We were able to setup a space that catered to both kids and adults, and everyone had the best time thanks to Makayla and her team.

My company hosted our 2023 holiday party at Builders BLDG and had a blast! The space was beautiful and large enough for our 500+ attendees to mingle comfortably. We had access to a nice lounge/bar space adjacent to the main hall area, which provided a relaxing space to chat away from music and dancing. Would love to host another party here in the future!

We recently hosted a Peer Group event in Chicago and selected Prime & Provisions for our large group dinner of 45, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, Michele, our event sales managers, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She guided us seamlessly through the planning process and made sure every detail was thoughtfully executed. Michele went above and beyond: coordinating our table layout in the beautiful private space, pre-placing custom spice gift sets with our logo at each setting, recommending wines for bar pre-selection, and helping us fine-tune our menu. She even gave us a tour of the space months in advance to ensure we felt confident in our choice, and then stayed late the night of the event to make sure everything was absolutely perfect for us. The service from her team was equally exceptional the night of our event! From the appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour to the salads, entrees, desserts, and wine service, every element was executed with care and excellence! Our entire group raved about the food, the ambiance, and the overall experience. It was truly a night to remember, and we’re so grateful to Michele and the entire Prime & Provisions staff for making it flawless. Highly recommend this location for any special event or large group dinner in Chicago!

We hosted a business dinner in the provisional room and it was absolutely fantastic! The room was perfect for our group of 12 and the food and service was EXCELLENT!! We will be back!

I attended a wedding here last night and the venue was perfect for the wedding reception. All of the employees were very nice and helpful. The endless stream (appetizers, dinner, after dinner small bites, & gelato/doughnut station) of food was delicious. I could be wrong, but I believe that the food was catered by the restaurant next door. The filet and chicken vesuvio dinner was very, very good, as were the side mashed potatoes, rissotto and creamed spinach. Prior to the main meal, we were served a delicious salad with fresh rolls and chunks of delicious pork belly. Woo hoo on the pork belly which put the salad over the top! The room itself is beautiful and any additional decorating is just a huge plus. The wedding reception was beautiful and everyone had a great time!

What a beaut! I love it that YOU can rent any impressive architecturally-worthy spaces. Go, Chicago! No unused space left behind. My kind of Beaux-Arts style architecture: - Focus on symmetry - Hierarchy of interior spaces - Classical details, including columns and pediments - Highly decorative surfaces - Statues and figures embedded within the façade - Raised first story - Stone or stone-like materials Beaux-Arts is common in Chicago "due to it being the style of choice for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition."
