"Buk Kyung has been a stalwart in the heart of Union Square, offering hearty and delicious Korean bites. The tofu kimchi jaeyook — a spicy pork dish — is reliable, as is the naengmyeon, which is a dish of cold buckwheat noodles served with thinly sliced beef, daikon radish, cucumber, and a boiled egg served in a chilled beef broth. On a cold day, try the mandu soup." - Erika Adams, Nathan Tavares, Valerie Li Stack

Google
A solid Korean-Chinese place with laid back vibes. Tangsuyuk chicken was great with a light sweet sauce. It isn't the best sauce I've had, but the chicken was on point. Bulgogi was a bit too salty, but the flavor was on point. The sundubu (tofu soup) was probably the most lacking. It needed a bit more flavor and we got the beef, but the base tasted like seafood. Overall I would come again but probably stick with the korean Chinese food.

Google
They lost their original intention. I ordered three dishes and they all came out at different times. Since the 간짜장 paste was not stir-fried, it was watery like a soup.check the picture and see the water in the bowl. The taste of the Jjambbong was okay, but the portion was small compared to Seoul Market or Hmart and there was almost no seafood. Service was really bad. Even after the food was served, chopsticks and napkins were not provided, and pickled radish was also brought after requesting it. be careful. I'd rather go to Hmart and eat it

Google
This is the hands down the best Korean place I have ever been in Massachusetts. Their jjajjangmyeon and jjamppong has full of seafoods and the smoky fire taste enhances the flavor. Tangsuyuk’s skin is perfectly crispy and slightly chewy inside!! Yangjangpee had the perfect sauce and portion size was chefs kiss. The server was so nice and definitely recommend this place!!

Google
The food was great! Both the jjambong and jajangmyeon tasted very authentic, and I really enjoyed them! Strongly recommended!

Google
Best jajangmyun in Cambridge! Authentic flavors, not to mention their large plate portion (shareable for 4 people)! Friendly service, will be back again!

Recently tried the jjajjangmyeon at Buk Kyung and was genuinely impressed. It was rich, flavorful, and hit the spot perfectly. The cozy atmosphere and warm service made the meal even better. Can't wait to explore more of their menu!

Google
Decent spot for a hearty Korean meal. Upon entering Buk Kyung, I hoped for an authentic Korean dining experience. The setting felt reminiscent of many traditional establishments in Korea, but the ambiance gave hints of mediocrity. A recent management change should have ideally infused new life, but Buk Kyung unfortunately remained stagnant. The placidity of the restaurant, even during what should be bustling hours, became all too indicative of its static nature, providing quick service merely due to the lack of patronage. The appetizers, specifically the fried dumplings and kimchi pancake, were the saving grace. They delivered an authentic and promising taste, reminiscent of an average Seoul diner. However, that initial promise quickly dwindled as I delved into the entrées. Both the Samsun Ganjajang and Boo Dae Stew left much to be desired. Despite the intriguing components and names, the execution felt tepid at best. The dishes that should've been bursting with flavors ended up falling flat, delivering an uninspiring palate experience. While its price point might be an appealing factor when compared to eateries in Allston, the overall experience at Buk Kyung unfortunately doesn't measure up. The potential for a revamp was there with the management change, but the lack of noticeable improvements was disappointing. I'd hesitate to consider it for future Korean dining excursions.

Google
Perfect food as always! Everything is so tasteful. Bibimbap is hot, yummy, and really balanced with veggie and meat. Seafood scallion pancake has calamari, shrimp and crispy outside and tender inside. I truly love this place

Hae Soo P.

Yelp
First time visiting this place. There weren't too many customers, which is surprising, because the food was GREAT! The size of Jjambbong was so big, Tangsuyuk was crispy, and Jjajangmyun is done right. Definitely recommend getting these when you're there!

Yelp
Super local Korean spot that's been OG of union square for years. It's been a very long time since I've been at this joint and it does not disappoint. We were able to grab a table for two on a random Tuesday evening and were able to order quickly. We got the combo with jjiajang and tansooyuk and a stone pot bibimbap with kalbi The portions are still generous although their dishes have gone up with inflation over the years, still really damn good. tldr; expect tasty and delicious home-cooked style Korean meals, the kind of stuff that fuels childhood dreams

Sara L.

Yelp
Ok Korean food. The set menu of jjajang+tangsuyuk is worth the price and meal but the rest of the items on the menu are just ok

Yerina K.

Yelp
This is the first place where they served half/half option for jjajangmyun and jjambbong like they usually do back home in Korea. I appreciated the option for that because I love both and I would always have to choose! The ttangsuyuk was also pretty good and they gave a good amount too (we already ate a few before taking the pic). The employee was also SUPER friendly even though it was at night and the food came out fast as well. There is a lot of space in the place to sit and is clean as well. I would come back again if I'm in the area!

Yelp
My favorite Chinese Korean place in MA! I believe there was a change of management after the death of previous owner, my condolences to the family :( I think there was a little hiccup with tragedy but I assure you their food tastes great. jjajngmyeon and tangsuyuk are my go-to dish here. I heard people complaining about them not serving many ban chan (side dishes) for meals, however, that's how it is in Chinese Korean restaurants in Korea, people! You usually only get kimchi and danmooji (picked raddish) We paid a visit last weekend and had another great meal. I would recommend getting black noodles (you can also ask them to make it vegetarian!), jjambbong, fried pork with sweet and sour sauce, soon tofu stew, fried rice, and veggie pancake! Portion is also generous, hence giving 5 stars! 대박 강추!

Yelp
My friend and I came around 6h30 on a Saturday. They were very empty at the time but were slightly busier by the time we left. We ordered the jjajangmyeon, the topokki , and the kimchi jjigae. Jjajangmyeon was great - a rather large portion size actually- and the noodles and sauce were so delicious. I will note that there is barely any pork in the sauce though - it is mostly onions. The topokki was good - extremely spicy with a crazy amount of the pepper powder. Kimchi jjigae was also really yummy too - surprisingly less spicy that the topokki, with very well cooked and generous portions of cabbage, pork, tofu, and rice cakes. Price point was also surprisingly low too (especially in this economy?!) Overall super happy with my visit; I had high expectations since I love Chinese Korean food, and fortunately they exceeded all of them! Can't wait to come again and try their tangsuyook and ganjajang, too :)

Christie L.

Yelp
Always quality and tasty Korean food every time I come. They recently changed management so they have an amazing deal for jajangmyun and jambong for half off! Both noodle dishes are so delicious! The noodles are perfectly cooked and chewy. The portion is generous, the flavor and sauce/broth is all on point. I've also tried the tofu soup, tangsuyook beef and ganpoong shrimp. The ganpoong is tangy, sweet and a little spicy. So good! Portions are large and definitely shareable. All highly recommend! The only downside is the location. It's hard to find parking in Union Square.

Allie S.

Yelp
I ordered the pork Tangsuyook (sweet and sour pork) for delivery. The order arrived fast and the pork was still very warm and crispy upon arrival. While I enjoyed the sweet and sour sauce, the pork batter needed some seasoning. It was pretty bland on its own but thankfully the sauce is a good sweet and sour sauce that is flavorful without being overly sweet and syrupy.

Paris K.

Yelp
Good little place to get some quick casual Korean food. My go to for takeout is the seafood sounding

Jessica W.

Yelp
My sister and I decided to stop by here for lunch last weekend. We were seated very quickly as the restaurant just opened. We did notice that the foot traffic increased throughout our meal. We ordered the scallion crepe, rice cakes, and bibim spicy cold noodles. Everything was fairly priced and the food came out relatively fast as well. Each dish tasted very authentic. I would definitely come back to try more dishes and to support a family owned business!

Cam K.

Yelp
I went for the jjajangmyun and ttangsuyuk cuz i had that craving. The food was so good!! I've been eating korean Chinese food since I was a kid and this was up to par. The food took a little while to come out but it was fresh and I think it took a while because it was being cooked to order. Food tasted fresh and was nice and hot. The server was the most attentive waiter I have ever had. Very sweet and took care of every need periodically without us even asking. The place was quiet on a weekday afternoon, which was nice. Would definitely go back when I get that craving again!

Risa K.

Yelp
What I got: - Jambong Noodles ($14.92) - Shrimp Ganpoong ($25.99) - Not pictured but Jjajangmyun ($12.99) This place has a special place in my heart because Id go often when I was a kid but they recently changed ownership and currently have a great promotion going on - jambong and jjajang noodles are both around $8 each for limited time only!! The flavors of the noodles were great but i wish there were more veggies/toppings and the noodles were more chewy. The ganpoong shrimp also had really delicious sauce but I found the batter to be a little thick. If allstons far, i think its worth checking it out if youre craving korean chinese food.

Anna K.

Yelp
We ordered the tangsooyuk and jajangmyun which were alright but the service was pretty poor. We asked for side dishes which usually come with the order but never received it and we were pretty persistent with asking. I think we asked a total of 4 times but it was near the end of our meal and we didn't want to keep bothering the staff. Also there were other tables complaining about not receiving banchan (side dishes) so maybe they ran out? The food was a bit cold and it was clear it wasn't prepared fresh. I don't think we will be visiting this restaurant again sadly.

Robert B.

Yelp
The food is very spicy, the way I like it! Plenty of it too and a reasonable price as well!!!

Yelp
Why did I not come here sooner?! Off to the side of charming Union Square, Buk Kyung is doing its best to stand out amongst the crowd but falls a bit short with the outside decor. However, don't be discouraged, grab that door handle (they provide free parking permits if you want to take your car and park to the side of the restaurant, adjacent to the Axe throwing place) and pop in. The inside is casual, and the atmosphere is typical of an unassuming family-owned restaurants: older guys hanging out, handful of younger, clearly sons or cousins of the older men, milling around and working the tables. The menu boasts pretty much anything you want in the Korean food group. My husband and I have been wanting dolsot bibimbap for a long time so we ordered that, and an appetizer of scallion pancake. We were offered two courses of kimchi in two ways (daikon and the traditional napa cabbage). Getting our food was a pretty quick process, getting our checks afterwards took quite a bit longer but it was also kind of nice to be sitting there in a sort of quietish, chill vibe of the restaurant-- it almost felt like hanging out at your Korean uncle's house. I know where I'm going when I need my Korean food fix next time!

Mark F.

Yelp
Recently got a new owner and much smaller menu. Stone pot bibim bop (had it with tofu) is still delicious. We miss the kimchi pancake, barley tea, and more than two bon chon.

Tony L.

Yelp
We ordered thru Grub Hub and we were pleasantly surprised how awesome the food here was. We had the Tangsuyuk- highly recommend (very similar to Paiks noodle in CA and UT) The Bibimbap was perfectly made and I really enjoyed the Soft tofu stew. The deep flavor was just amazing. The ban chans were tasty too. Kimchi was perfect. We will definitely be ordering here again next time we come visit Boston. 4.5 solid stars for the food!

My-Linh D.

Yelp
I love this place! It's a cute and small restaurant. This was my second time there and I love the food and the staff. The workers are so friendly. I believe it is family owned. You cannot go wrong with any items on the menu but my favorite is the rice cake dumping stew and cold noodles.

Willie R.

Yelp
I was longing for some dolsot bibimbap and started looking for a Korean restaurant that wasn't some sort of "fusion" place. Enter: Buk Kyung. When I walked in, there was a small group of older Korean people watching TV in the shop with the host. They weren't eating or anything, so I think they were just hanging out (this was a good sign as it reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants in my neighborhood when I lived in Korea). The host quickly greeted me and, after scanning the menu, I ordered the vegetable mandu and dolsot bibimbap. Not much time passed before the dishes were delivered. The mandu were less crispy than I would prefer, but still traditional and totally fine. As usual, I lathered the dolsot bibimbap in gochujang and fried the egg right in the bowl. Mmm! I would be happy to return to Buk Kyung!

Luke C.

Yelp
We were recently inspired to try this place on its reopening. The food was authentic and reminded us of home cooking. Of all the dishes we tried, the tangsuyook stood out as a standout favorite. The crispy and tender pieces of pork were perfectly complemented by the sweet and tangy sauce, which had just the right balance of flavors. We also had the jjajangmyun, which was on sale. It sounds weird for a restaurant to have items on sale, but it's more to try to get people in the door. Notably, I think this restaurant shies away from using a ton of salt. The food here was noticeably less salty than other Korean places we've been to. If you have a heavier palette, you may enjoy the food here less. Overall, it's not really instagram story food, but if you want a great meal in a low-key place, this is a great choice. Also, parking is onsite and next to the axe throwing club. You should ask for a validation from the restaurant.

Min Soo P.

Yelp
Food and service wasn't the same since last visit. Came into town and was looking to forward to great meal but unfortunately the opposite.

Khai T.

Yelp
If you're looking for good and home-y Korean food, this is the place! The server was extremely nice and attentive. Would come back again!

Grace D.

Yelp
Good food, casual neighborhood vibes! Restaurant was kinda empty when we got there (Fri 6pm) but became fuller as we ate. Would come again and try the jambong.

Nan K.

Yelp
It's a small and quiet family run place that offers a variety of Korean dishes. We got a bunch of the Korean-Chinese items to share and were relatively satisfied. The highlight was definitely the tangsuyuk- sweet and sour pork. After trying the chicken version, we all agreed that pork is definitely better. The jajangmyun had chewy noodles and a good sauce but it was just ok. We were happy with the service we got and the variety the menu had to cater to everyone's different tastes.

A Y.

Yelp
Excellent food, especially the kimchi tofu soup and noodles in black bean sauce. Place was cozy and clean. Pay cash for a small discount!

Bailey S.

Yelp
I'm sorry but this was the worst Korean food I've ever had in my life :( everything was either SO bland or very very salty. No one in our group ate any of their food. Jajangmyeon was inedible. I'm hoping there's better options for Korean food in Boston as I'm new to the city, but this place is definitely not it

Evan S.

Yelp
If you walk into a korean place and theres no one there and only one person working its either gonna be amazing or appallingly bad. This was the latter.

Ming M.

Yelp
Buk Kyung redemption arc!! I came here and there was no customers there, but it was at a weird in-between time so we felt pretty safe even though there was no outdoor seating. We were asked if we wanted tea or water- we asked for tea but it tasted like they just gave us hot water. Also some of the staffs had their masks below their nose. They brought banchan- most were fine but the bean sprouts just tasted kind of wet and unseasoned. We ordered jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), but our expectations were low. But when the food came out it completely turned everything around. I usually think black bean noodles and just ok but these were the best I've ever had! They were soooo delicious- savory and subtly sweet. Sweet and sour pork was extremely crunchy and moist on the inside. Though we were worried at first the food here was excellent and worth it.

Charlie Y.

Yelp
My wife had a craving for jajangmeun and this place hit the spot! The portions are pretty big for the price and the flavor is deep. If you're used to regular jajangmeun then this might disappoint, since its Korean-Chinese fusion. But as someone who grew up eating jajangmeun made by my mom, who grew up in northern China, I thought it was great. Not sure if why they are rated so low.

Amanda C.

Yelp
This place was alright. Cheaper than most other Korean food places in the area but also more inaccessible because of its location in Union Square (for now! Hurry up MBTA construction!!). Servings were huge (especially if you get the GOP 1.5x portion size). My friend got this egg noodle that I will describe as relatively flavorless, mostly a black pepper taste. I had a bibimbap that was very savory but more...wet texture? than I am used to. Overall decent but didn't taste that authentic.

Heng L.

Yelp
The food was delicious and came out fast. The service was good and reasonably priced. Would recommend for dine in or take out!

Victoria T.

Yelp
We got the jampong and the dok bokki. It came with some sides. The jampong was very very seafoody, and I liked it a lot. It came with a lot of noodles, but the shrimp was very small and not a ton of seafood. But it tasted good and was spicy. The dokbokki was good, it was a bit on the sweet side. It was $8.99, and an appetizer but i ate it as a full meal.

Jo C.

Yelp
This place is packed but a bit dirty and the waiters seemed hectic. The service was bad, no water or utensils served until we asked for them. We ordered Korean seafood pancake but there was hardly any seafood, maybe a small piece of seafood per slice. The tofu stew was mediocre at best. Overall, this would probably the worst Korean restaurant in terms of food, service and quality compared to other ones I've tried in Boston.

Nhung N.

Yelp
Buk Kyung is a Korean restaurant located in Somerville, MA. There is metered street parking in front of the restaurant as well as across the street. There is also an adjacent lot to the right side of the storefront as well. There are three must order items in my opinion. First and foremost, the tangsuyook, which is a deep fried battered pork strips. This is a definite must share item for a large group. The large order is ginormous. It comes with a sweet and sour dipping sauce that you can drizzle on top of leave on the side as a dipping sauce. If you're in a small group of two or even three, a small would do. Goes well with a nice cold beer and they offer quite a variety. Second, I recommend ordering the samsum ganjajang. This is their black bean stir fried vegetables (loaded with cabbage and onions) and seafood with the noodle served on the side. This is my go to place whenever I crave black bean noodle. To enjoy, you mix into the noodle the black bean sauce and eat it while it is warm. The black bean sauce is very rich and slightly sweet combined with the slightly thick and chewy noodle is in my opinion heaven. I would also say this is a good dish to share since the denseness and richness can be a bit much after several bites in. The third must try item is the seafood soft tofu chigae. This is by far their tastiest soup and I have tried three others which I don't recommend and will explain why later. The soft tofu soup is spicy, salty, and seafoody. The broth is the most flavorful in my opinion. Out of all their soups and stew, I feel this is their best. I have also tried the kimchi chigae which I found to not be as good as other Korean restaurants we have been to. Not sour and salty enough. The mandoo soup, which is a vegetable soup with dumpling and rice cake, I find to be rather bland since it is a vegetable broth. I also tried their yuk gae jang, which is a shredded beef, egg, and vegetables soup in a spicy beef broth with noodles. This noodle soup is only okay. I wouldn't order it again. I didn't quite enjoy the vegetables in this soup. I also don't recommend the tofu kimchi jeyook. I have had it at other restaurants and this restaurant version I am sorry to say didn't taste all that good. I wonder if it had to do with the kimchi used. It didn't look appetizing either when served. There you have it, my top three must try and possibly bottom four to maybe skip. See my pictures!

Christina Y.

Yelp
Ordered the Maewoon Ganjajang and loved the pork and onions, but the sauce was a little too spicy for me. It still tasted a bit one note - the base sweetness of the jajangmyeon sauce is still present. I think Seoul Jangteo is notably better. My SO didn't want Korean Chinese so I ordered the Bi Bim Bop and totally missed the fact that it's not served with rice. You must order Dolsot Bi Bim Bop if you want your veggies and egg on rice. So sadly, I lost girlfriend points for ordering the wrong thing and we probably won't get takeout from here again.

Solomon K.

Yelp
Great family run business serving some of the city's best Korean/Chinese food. We dined indoors and the food was served piping hot and fresh. Highly recommend the jjajangmyun and the fried pork (which can also be done with beef) aka tangsooyeok. Side note, you know the food will be good when there's a grandma cooking in the kitchen

cindy s.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst food ever!!! The ambiance is embarrassing and the service is laughable. The ban-Chan ( side dishes) included 2 items total.... Sour kimchi and sliced pickled radish. Seriously, I'm embarrassed for them.

Dillon G.

Yelp
Updates review: I met Philip who was absolutely incredible. The food was incredible as always. My upgrade from 4 to 5 is honestly my fault for not trying the specials. Philip showed us Tang suyook and it was incredible, a great twist on what it usually is by incorporating jalapenos and apparently using very high heat. The bibimbap is fantastic and I literally had to ask if I could take their kimchi home with me. Going to become a regular, the staff and food are worth it!

Casey A.

Yelp
Buk Kyung is easy to overlook in Union Square. The restaurant kind of just blends into the background. It's nothing fancy but pretty decent Korean food in the area. I've only had a couple of their menu items. My favorite is the seafood soft tofu stew. It's such a good, flavorful broth and slightly spicy. I would prefer slightly more spicy but it's good and a HUGE portion. You also get a ton of seafood in here for just $12.99. There are shrimp, octopus, clams, squid. The bibimbap is pretty meh. It's good because it's bibimbap and that's always delicious but I've definitely had better ones in Boston. The service is pretty nice as well. I ordered take out once and realized that they didn't pack my rice. When I called and told them, one of the staff came to deliver rice within 5 mins. Overall, I like this place as a Union Square staple and a dependable spot for a comforting stew in the winter.

Lana K.

Yelp
As a long-standing patron of Buk Kyung since I was a kid (this is the original location before #2 opened up in Allston several years ago), it's unfortunate to say that this place has been going downhill in quality and taste. It's oddly near-impossible to find good Korean-Chinese food in Boston (still) for simple homey dishes like jjajangmyun, jjambong, tangsuyook, ganpoongi, etc. so from time to time, my mom and I visit Buk Kyung to fill this craving. I came by here last night for a quick bite and there weren't many customers (maybe 3-5) so empty tables warranted getting seated quickly. We ordered the beef bokkeumbap (beef fried rice) $9.99 and jjajangmyun $9.99. The food came out surprisingly fast along with their simple banchan (cucumbers, kimchi, mung bean sprouts, danmuji). But the portion size of the fried rice was relatively small, served on a cheap thin white plastic plate, with some sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The shabby amount of thinly-sliced beef in the fried rice was a bit disappointing, but tasted alright overall. The big letdown was the jjajangmyun. A classic that isn't hard to ruin. I noticed they switched over to thinner wheat noodles and the jjajang sauce was wayyy too sweet to our liking with mostly chopped onions. It reminded me of the $3 kind you'd find at a mediocre Korean-Chinese restaurant in Korea. I know this is a family business since the owner changed, but man this was a letdown.

Kate A.

Yelp
This food was absolutely amazing. It was well priced and the staff was really friendly. If you want some good authentic Korean food, please go here. (I ordered the kimchi pork stew and it was the best thing I've eaten in a long time, it went great with the Korean bear)

Leah K.

Yelp
I picked up take-out for us and our neighbors yesterday, a gross rainy day. The dishes were ready in only 15 minutes, and were PIPING hot. Here's what we ordered: A10 - cheese ddok bokghi S1 - tofu kimichi jeyook F2 - beef bokumbop A1 - goon mandoo What I ate, the Cheese Ddok Bokghi, was very good. A spicy tomato based sauce with chewy rice noodles and melted cheese on top. My neighbors LOVED their tofu and beef dishes, though said the mandoo didn't travel as well as the other items. If you're looking for well-priced Korean dishes, this is your place.

Chelsie M.

Yelp
Found this place while walking around one day, I ordered the Bulgogi and it is so delicious! I cannot stop going back!

Kristi T.

Yelp
Buk Kyung is the reason behind my newfound love for Korean food. I've been meaning to review it as my love for Korean food has grown from minor to massive. Their tangsuyuk is massive and oh-so tasty-- I can taste it if I close my eyes and focus hard enough! Their jajangmyeon is standard, pretty good but you can probably get the same thing elsewhere. However what's nice about theirs is that it doesn't taste bad as leftovers. I've had others that tasted weird the next day, but I was fine with this one. Hooray! The place was quite clean and large, and lots of Asians and non-Asians gathering inside. However, it's nice when you see actual Koreans eating at a Korean restaurant, because then you know the food there is up to par and good enough for those people. The staff was very kind and I felt very welcomed. The area isn't exactly great and it's a little difficult for uber/lyft drivers to navigate properly so we ended up running across the street to get from our lyft to the restaurant and back, but that's okay! Overall it was a really great experience. I'm so glad my friend took me here for my first Korean food experience!

Alan S.

Yelp
On a recent visit, I ordered the udon soup, which was rather flavorless - although I keep a vegetarian diet, I made an exception on this cold night for what I expected would be a hearty soup. But the shrimp were tiny and not even worth it, and if there was any flavor, it was the single flavor of noodles. My companion ordered the jjajjangmyeon, which exhibited a uniquely high proportion of onions to sauce compared to every other rendition I have seen. Needless to say, she was not a huge fan. The kimchi pajeon to start was not bad, although it could have been crispier. Despite my grievances, the food is not the worst, and its at least nice to have an option for Korean-Chinese food in the area

Susannah C.

Yelp
The jajungmien is usually pretty consistent, but I am giving 3 stars because they forgot the noodles in one of the other dishes we got and it was just a bowl of broth...think the restaurant should be more diligent in packaging orders.

Beni H.

Yelp
Not a lot of things has been bringing me much joy ever since the pandemic crisis, but today was a good day thanks to Buk Gyung. I studied abroad in Seoul for several years and Korean Chinese food was always a popular go to. The classic combination to order would be jjajangmyeon, jjambong, and tangsuyuk(sweet and sour pork) or gganpoongki(spicy fried chicken). Tried a couple of places around the Boston area, but tbh none of them were that satisfying. It was my first time ordering from here today and wow!!!! Got two jjajangmyeons and one tangsuyuk. They were both extremely delicious. The amount of both the noodles and the meat dish were more than enough for two people. The sauce for the noodles isn't heavy or goopy - it's got a savory sweetness that makes each bite pleasant. The pork has just the right batter and crunch. The sweet and sour sauce is pretty tangy (almost vinegar like tanginess?). If you're into sweeter tanginess like pineapple tanginess this might not be your favorite, but in any case, it's a damn good dish. You have to call the restaurant directly to order your food. The person who took my order and the delivery man were so nice. I definitely plan to order again.

Yelp
I came here with a party of 17 on a Thursday night and the staff was very accommodating! Luckily someone from our party knew what to order. We got a big chicken plate that was amazing and filling! I was told that it was the Chinese infused Korean food. It tasted similar to orange chicken.

Yelp
Kind of disappointed with the jjajangmyun here, which is why we made the trek to Somerville in the first place. The flavor just wasn't there, kind of bland and the noodles were a little over cooked. The spicy tangsuyook(sweet and spicy fried pork) was also just okay, the batter was a bit chewy and I didn't get the best bites of pork that I would have liked. The one thing I did enjoy was the yuk gae jang, although it could've used more meat. Good spicy soup though. Also the spicy radish banchan was great, crunchy and perfectly fermented. No parking, street parking if you're lucky.

Yelp
I ordered tofu soup for Togo then I came back hotel. When I opened bag that I realized no spoon, folk and no side dishes. Only rice and tofu soup. OMG!!! I paid full amount of dishes and tips but no utensils and side dishes. Bad experiences !!!
