We had a booking for an engagement event for approximately 30-40 people at Bukhara grill.
It is my opinion that this is the worst place for any kind of event, and I would never take a second to think about recommending this place to anyone for food.
Firstly, in the main course, we had ordered 5 types of bread, but they provided only 1 type of bread, which was so awful that we couldn't eat a single piece of it. Later on, we requested for another kind of bread. They started making excuses like the kitchen was being cleaned and then they just gave us roti, which was even worse.
Secondly, our function commenced at 11 am, and they started mojito at 12:10. It was a long one hour in which all our guests were waiting for drinks.
Thirdly, initially, they placed a kettle of tea at one side of the hall. The menu included both tea and coffee, but at the beginning, they said that they didn't have coffee and tea was served in plastic cups placed on a counter from which anyone can serve himself. I think if any restaurant is putting plastic cups, then it is embarrassing for the people who are coming as guests.
Fourthly, when we booked the event, they said food would be served at the tables, and today they said it's self-serve. Our guests queuing there found no bowls of vegetables. The quantities of food were not sufficient, and their staff members who were supposedly from the buffet were eating food right in front of our guests. It was an awful situation.
Fifthly, we plan to have our lunch at 3 pm and immediately after our lunch, we requested 12 cups of fresh tea. One of the staff members said that it was the kitchen cleaning time and that they couldn't provide tea for us. The tea that was in the kettle was freshly made at 11 am, so if things are made 4 hours in advance and are still fresh, then I do not have the words to describe the kind of service they are giving.
Sixthly and finally, I can write about them for hours. They did not have clean bowls and knives. Our guests were cleaning all their utensils.
I confronted the guy, Kiran, and he was just apologizing, sorry and sorry. I paid them the full amount and just told him thank you, thereby giving another reason not to remember this place.
