The meat is tender and flavorful but it wasn't hot enough. The fat is solidifying already. Rice that was served to us was burnt. We were quite disappointed. We came in at around 7pm. It was ₱210 per serving. Serving size is not meant for sharing just adequate for a single person.

Delicious food. I have enjoyed the Bulca Chong, it was very tasteful and meaty. Perfect temperature as well. The service was also very fast; in less than 5 minutes we had all the food on the table. Outside area available as well.

Had Lunch 😋🍽️ very Lami rich broth soup! Also ordered kinilaw (fresh, cold) plus you get to choose to season and mix sauce for your kilaw.

Bulcachong “Davao Specialty Food” is a Filipino soup dish prepared with carabao meat, a type of water buffalo where it is slowly simmered with spices and lots of ginger until it is fork tender. Bulca Chong (the dish) is truly Davaoeño. Bulca is short for Bulalo, a popular bone-in beef shank soup, and carabao, while Chong is the name (or surname) of the eatery’s owner and master chef. It’s made by boiling carabeef, which is flavored with ginger, green onions, tanglad (lemongrass), and some secret spices. 📍Davao City, Philippines 🇵🇭

The serving can be bigger. The preparation can be cleaner. The price can be cheaper.

Staff are very accomodating. However, I don't think Php 170 will give justice to 3-6 tiny pieces of meat and mostly bones. I don't undermine the effort of the business, but please, don't be biased on your servings. Lots of "vloggers" get a bowl of meat but for the general, it's the other way around. No one complaints because the food is good, though. Will be back for another serving. 👌🏻
