Venessa with Offline - My experience was great. The atmosphere was inviting and clean. Customer service was very pleasant. I had the veggie scramble and it was delicious My personal preference is to have my cheese scrambled into my eggs but as a fellow chef I understand. Will definitely return!

Google
The food was good, but the guy at the cash register where we placed our order was quite rude. We were there mid-morning on a Monday when it was not busy. He snapped at us for asking a few clarifying questions about the menu, was snarky, and unhelpful. Some of the plates and cups we received were also not clean. I used to like coming here but today’s experience was so off-putting.

"Laughter is brightest in the place where the food is." - Irish Proverb This restaurant is a café style with incredible beverages and tasty food. A wonderful breakfast location.

Google
I can't say enough positive things about Bull & Bean. This is by far my most favorite place to eat for so many reasons. I love the food (as does my family), I enjoy the cozy atmosphere, and the staff are wonderful. They're always friendly and given the frequency with which I eat there (somewhat ashamedly) they pretty much know my order. Wendy is an absolute delight. Thank you for always making our experience so delightful!

Michelle Bennett

Google
We loved everything about this place. The coffees, grown-up grilled cheese and the staff were all amazing!

Google
While the ambience of this restaurant is great, my party and I received the wrong food, and an incorrect coffee order. In addition, the kitchen forgot one of the members of my party until we had to remind them. Lastly, the food isn’t good enough to be worth so much forgetfulness. That I would recommend this place to anyone? Absolutely not. That I would ever consider to come back here? Absolutely not!!!

Google
I like Bull and bean bc has a lot of options but I’d like that they don’t put everything in the same plate looks ugly, in spit of this the food is good. Unfortunately I didn’t like the smoothie, the menu is not well explained as regards these. The atmosphere is cool and the service nice.

Google
The food was good and the staff were friendly. It’s was really busy on a Sunday brunch morning but there was this one high-top table that was open. It was open because the chairs were so close to the table that even my 8 year olds legs couldn’t fit under it. Management - lovely table, great chairs, let’s just move that table up several inches so it’s usable and you don’t have to eat your meal at a 90 degree angle.

Yelp
DELICIOUS French toast!! On the sweet side but I couldn't stop eating it. I had the Perfect Big Bull Breakfast which is a meal for 2 but lets you sample the pancake, French toast, hash browns, eggs and protein. Everything was so good - the pancake and hash browns too. I'll be back again and again!

Yelp
Mmm mmm good. Cute little cafe style breakfast/brunch spot. You order at the counter and seat yourself. They'll bring your food out when ready. The eggs Benedict was on point with flavor. Delicious hollandaise sauce though the egg was a little overcooked and not as runny as I usually prefer. The hash browns needed a lot of salt and pepper to get them up to flavor. The grits, however were delicious. Creamy cheesy goodness. Get here early on weekends, seating gets taken pretty quickly and we were stuck with a small table with little elbow room.

Yelp
We came over the weekend to check out this place and I will say, prepare to wait. You order and pay at the counter then hope that there's a table available for you to sit on. I usually don't like places like this because people hold tables while they order or stay too long with no tables to sit at. However, by the time we ordered, there was one table available, so we lucked out! We were a party of four. I will mention there is a sitting bar area for parties of 1 or maybe 2 max, since people leave empty seats in between them. I ordered a latte when I ordered my food, but it unfortunately came towards the end of our meal. So, everyone had to wait for me to finish it, before we could leave. No pressure on this day as the power went out, so people that were waiting on the line or food, had to leave, which was a bummer. Not the restaurants fault, of course. Ok, onto the food review. I will say the food was half good. I will explain. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. The loaded steak and eggs also really good. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same for the French toast which unfortunately was waaay too sweet and sugary and the red velvet table cakes, which were smothered in cream filling and topped with whipped cream. Waaay too much, to the point that we couldn't really enjoy them. I will post pics here, not that you can taste it based on a pic, but you could see it. Not to say that someone might not enjoy all that sweet, but for us, a bit too much. Those red velvet pancakes were on a different menu, and were not on the original menu, in case you try to find them on their site. This is a you do it all restaurant. Once you order, you get your own napkins, drinks (not coffees), silverware, etc. They bring your food and that's it. Not sure I would come back but happy I tried it.

Yelp
Had lunch here today with the bestie. I had never been but she had for breakfast and said she enjoyed it. The parking was a little busy during lunch hour...I had to circle a couple of times to find a spot. It shares a parking lot with a post office a couple of other eateries. The interior was cute but the acoustics made it a bit noisy. You go up to the front to order your food. They ask for a tip but all they do is punch in your order and bring your food. You have to get your own drink, napkins and silverware as well as bus your own dishes. I got half the Roast Beef sandwich with half of the Charleston salad. The sandwich was good...respectable ratio of meat and cheese. The salad was alright but this may sound odd, but it had a bit too much goat cheese. Like, almost made the salad DRY. And the balsamic vinaigrette was thicker than I'm used to. But it was decent for $13. Bestie got the Turkey & Brie with the Chappy. She said it was OK but not as good as their breakfast. An OK option for lunch but I feel there are may more options to try in the area.

Yelp
I was there about 2 months ago , first and last . I have no idea how this place got so many 5 stars but o well for me it was a terrible experience all the way , the staff Was looking miserable and not welcoming at All . The place is very dirty all the way ( omg ) Dirty where ever you can see . That for me is enough to get out , My sandwich had 2 slices of poor little sad cor

Yelp
I treated myself breakfast today and got myself a chai latte and the huevos rancheros! I was there early enough that there was ample seating. There was no line, service was efficient and tasted really good! Thank you for a nice meal!

Yelp
Atmosphere: Bull and Bean is a brunch spot in Durham with a laid-back and relaxed feel. A nice spot to meet up with friends for a casual meal! It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but it may get difficult to find seating during peak brunch hours. Service: We ordered to-go and our food came out relatively quickly. If you're dining in, you order at the counter, and food is brought to your table. Food: We ordered the Grits Bowl with Shrimp and the Cuban Sandwich. We were big fans of the Grits Bowl! It was just cheesy enough and had a great balance of vegetables in addition to the juicy shrimp. The Cuban Sandwich was filling, and the pickles and dijon mustard gave a nice tangy flavor. While the sandwich was a bit salty, it was a solid pick overall. Overall: With great meals both for dine-in and takeout, Bull and Bean is a solid spot for brunch in Durham. We're looking forward to coming back and trying their specials!

Yelp
This places serves some of the best breakfast, you will ever eat, right down to the cheese grits. The food was cooked to perfection, and they had a variety of coffee/ tea, hot or cold, along with wonderful smelling pastries. They also serve lunch, and I tried their steak and cheese. It was delicious. Family friendly, and a great place to meet up for coffee or a little breakfast, or to bring out of town guest.

Yelp
I love discovering new restaurants! This place is so adorable! They have plenty of seating inside and outside. They offer a variety of healthy options! I went for lunch and had the shrimp and kale salad! The wait was a little long but there were a a lot of people inside. Service was decent; however I did not enjoy my salad. It had potential but was very dry and needed more dressing.

Yelp
Make sure if you go in the winter to bundle up. The only thing weaker than their coffee is their furnace. Anyway the food is not great. The people who work there are very nice. And the atmosphere is nice.

Yelp
I wanted to take the time to review this restaurant because I had such a great experience. I got the steak, eggs, hash, peppers, onions , and cheese. While I know this is a simple meal you can mess it up trust me! I got the steak medium well and the eggs are over medium the flavors melded together so well. The steak is just so thick and delicious. I got my food super fast and the staff were so friendly. To state this because this means something in a town with so many restaurant, and places that do breakfast I came back for the first time since 2019 and it's not because it's not really good. I promise I will be back much soon the parking lot is huge as well and special parking for takeout orders only! The restaurant has outside space and the drinks were pouring this morning it's always fun seeing a full restaurant!! Thank you!!!

Yelp
Listen have you ever kissed the forehead of an angel? Yeah it's up there with that... Ok let me back up and simplify what I'm trying to say ... THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! And I'm a foodie. I had the breakfast burrito, i was sad when i finished it ... if I'm not mistaken and small tear may have came in my right eye... my wife had the Loaded Steak And Eggs and listen she's a cooking woman and she enjoyed her meal, enjoyed it so must she ate 99% of the steak before she even offered me a piece of it... we love to try new places and we are glad we chose here...and i only gave it 4 stars because no one is perfect

Yelp
My friend and I came for the first time to try their Sunday brunch. The menu is pretty extensive and they offer and variety of different items. I chose a simple egg and meat sandwich and it came out pretty fast. The sandwich was yummy and not too expensive. I would for sure come back to try out their other items!

Kiva S.

Yelp
I ordered, what I believed, would be a regular breakfast sandwich. I ordered an egg, sausage and cheese on white bread. The sausage seemed to have a unusual amount of spices that were very strong. It seemed to be something more than sage. I was unable to eat the sandwich with the sausage. The egg and cheese were delicious.

Yelp
My friend and I came on a weekday morning for a quick breakfast. I've heard great things about Bull and Bean and have been wanting to visit for a while. I ordered the bull and bean club and my friend ordered the perfect big bull breakfast. The bull and bean club was very yummy and a good portion size - I added a little mayo to suit my taste better. The perfect big bull breakfast seemed to be a great bang-for-your-buck! Overall, we had a great experience and will be back!

Yelp
This is my favorite brunch place in Durham! I always leave thinking this food tastes like it was prepared with real ingredients and not rushed even though it comes out so quickly. I love when it feels like there is a kitchen in the back of the restaurant and you can taste the care of the food. What draws me in are the weekly brunch specials. Each week they have different specials, such a French toast specials, pancake specials, etc. I check Facebook each weekend before I head there. It's small so there's not many places to sit. But it's super cute with little flowers on the table. You order and pay at the front and then they bring the food to your table. They always have a selection of coffee drinks and mimosas as well. It's definitely a place to go with your family. They have outdoor sitting for the warm days. I know I will be back again soon.

Yelp
I've been so excited to try Bull and Bean after hearing great things! Super cute place and I like how it operates as order at the counter then find a seat. It was pretty busy, so the food did take a pretty long time. The breakfast burrito was okay - nothing special, egg was really watery / made the burrito leak, and I wish it could have come with some side or something. The French toast (peaches and blueberry) was delicious though! Everything you'd want in a French toast :)

Yelp
This place is phenomenal!!! The food is outstanding! Fresh baked rolls, the portion sizes and the Price!! The staff is friendly and the food comes out hot and quick! It's a really cute place that also offers a variety of pastries and coffee!! They serve from breakfast to lunch to dinner and there is nothing that has been left of any plate for our party of 14!! The GM Nathan is wonderful!! There is not one thing bad I can say except to run and not walk to come here you will not be disappointed!!

Yelp
The inside is quite cute and well decorated. The service was not great and was quite slow. They lost our order number so we ended up waiting about 30 min for our food. We sat outside with the pup, they have a nice dog friendly patio. They have coffee ice cubes for the iced coffee which was great. My boyfriend loved the French toast. The breakfast sandwich was tasted but the turkey sausage patty was quite small so most of it was just egg and cheese. Overall we would go back, I would probably get something different and order ahead online.
google avatar

Tiff T.

Yelp
The food was amazing and there was plenty of parking availability. We ordered loaded hash browns, steak and eggs, breakfast burrito, BEC croissant, and the big Bull breakfast. They have plenty of seasonal specials as well. The Apple cider sangria was delicious but a small portion for $14 The only thing we were confused about is why we had to tip before paying because we had to grab our own silverware and water/soft drinks and clear our own table. I would return though. We sat inside because we had a large party and we called ahead but they usually do not take reservations.

Alison B.

Yelp
Had a terrific veggie burger, one of today's specials! Please consider putting it on your regular menu

Yelp
This is such a sweet, cute place that I found while searching for lunch. There's plenty of indoor seating with cushions and a rose on the table. There's outdoor seating too. Chicken salad sandwich was fresh with cranberries on ciabatta bread. I ordered a side of chips and energy bar. Energy bar was just OK. The sandwich was excellent! Iced mocha was good. Atmosphere was awesome to sit do you have a phone conversation or a meeting with friends. It is a little pricey but good. I would definitely recommend this place and I would return if ever I'm in town.

Yelp
I came here last minute because they had open space for Sunday brunch. The tables are first come first serve, and you order at the counter. I was pleasantly surprised by the food! The French toast was not too sweet. It had delicious homemade whipped cream and fresh strawberries. I like that it wasn't drowned in syrup, and that it was more lightly sweet. But, you can also get it with the option of Nutella if you fancy a sweeter side . The huevos rancheros were as expected. Nothing out-of-the-box creative, but well cooked eggs and dressings. Overall, it's a decent last minute brunch place, with a cozy coffee house atmosphere. A pretty safe bet for a decent weekend meal.

Tara B.

Yelp
Cute location, good food and incredibly tasty and strong cold brew. They do coffee ice cubes so the iced coffee stays strong. The service is good and it is a hidden gem.
google avatar

Surika A.

Yelp
This is my GO TO brunch spot in the triangle. I love the variety of options they have, the fast-casual style, and the price is not too shabby for a student on a budget. Their bennedicts are always great. I've tried their croissant with nutella and strawberries which was simple but still delicious. I like how they get their bread from Guglhupf. They constantly add specials which is always nice to try other things. They don't have it anymore, but they used to have a belgian waffle with berries and whipped cream... and their whipped cream is sooo tasty! If you don't have a sweet tooth like me, their savory options are great too.
google avatar

Diana D.

Yelp
This is a casual eatery where you seat yourself, order at a counter, and gather your own drinks, silverware, etc. I loved it, and we got our food so fast! I had the French toast with berries. The French toast had good flavor, and the berries and whipped cream on top were fresh. The Turkey sausage was also delicious. The menu had plenty of options and the serving sizes were definitely very generous. Definitely recommend for breakfast/brunch!

Phil G.

Yelp
Hands down the most pathetic excuse for a reuben sandwich I have ever had! The old Wendy's commercial applies to this sandwich. "Where's the beef?" The two very thin slices of grilled corn beef was just enough corn beef to technically qualify this mess as a rueben. Why would you grill corn beef so that it is on its way to jerky? The other sandwich we ordered was the turkey and brie which was just average, but it at least had enough meat that you didn't have to hunt for it. The staff will not win any welcoming and friendly awards either.
google avatar

Smythe R.

Yelp
Very unassuming from the outside, but great ambiance inside. Loads of tables, gifty stuff on shelves dividing seating areas gives some privacy. Only had coffee and tea, but my friend said they do great food, and the lunchtime crowd was huge.

Yelp
This place is so cute I wish I could give a better review, but after a third visit the food just remains unimpressive. On this visit we had the grits bowl with pulled pork and the Meg's Manhattan eggs plate. My first and most consistent criticism about this place is the lack of flavor, seasoning, or salt on anything. The two elements of these dishes that had any flavor at all were the grits (good amount of cheese but no salt or butter at all) and the "herb roasted tomatoes" on the Meg's plate, though even those still could've used salt. Absolutely no salt or seasoning on the eggs or spinach. And the pork was so bland - it's disappointing when places in NC make bad pulled pork. I think the menu would be better without pulled pork at all. Overall I think this menu looks so good but just isn't being executed well. Positives? As I said the atmosphere is really cute. (Okay except I HAVE to mention that when we were there today the High School Musical soundtrack was playing over the speakers?? I don't hate it but it's an interesting choice haha.) Additionally, the croissant was really good - they source from Guglhupf - and Meg's plate came with a ton of smoked salmon, a good chunk of avocado, and plenty of goat cheese. So I do feel the price for that was fair. Ahhh I guess what I'm saying is that anything that doesn't need to be cooked was good! We won't be back again.
google avatar

Arrianna R.

Yelp
The food here was absolutely amazing! I came for lunch and couldn't decide between a salad or a sandwich so I decided on both. The kitchen sink salad today had shrimp on it and it was one of the tastiest salads I've had in a while! So much flavor and texture that I really only barely needed the dressing. The chicken salad sandwich was very good too but the salad was for sure the star for me. I also got an iced chai latte with oatmilk and I only felt it could have been more flavorful. It could be a combo of the oatmilk substitute or the ice melting. I will for sure be back soon!

Toni R.

Yelp
SENSATIONAL! The fact that I ate here 3 times in 5 days show how much I loved it. The first 2 days, I ordered lunch which was the amazing Warm Crab Cake Salad; so delicious, salad tasted fresh, and the homemade rolls were mouthwatering good. The last day, I had brunch and it did not miss. The Perfect Big Bull Breakfast was so full-filling. GM Nathan went over and beyond to accommodate our party of 10+ all 3 times we were there this week. This is truly a beautiful hidden gem.

Yelp
Their Mother's Day special menu was AMAMZING. Their Bennie dish, let me tell you. If beef Wellington and eggs Benedict had a baby. This bad boy was worth the price. The meat was tender, juicy and scrumptious, the eggs were poached perfectly, the croissant crisped just right. I'm not a fan of mushrooms but my husband said they're delicious! And that hollandaise was **chefs kiss ** And the French toast?! The infused mocha in the mascarpone was subtle and left me craving more. The brioche was soaked in just the right amount of whatever heavenly concoction they made and the sprinkle of chocolate shavings made us basically inhale the dish. Don't get me started on the berry sangria and Hibiscus lemonade mimosa. Or on their chai latte. The whole meal was perfect! And the service was impeccable. If you haven't already gone here, then what're you waiting for?

Yelp
So this is in a West Durham shopping area- so already I was a bit hyped to drive out so far. I roll up and see a line, and posted signs with no reservations... Staffwise I'm surprised and underwhelmed that the line was so far to the door in such a small setting, with no one to tell me what the wait really was (not awful 18 mins on the clock). Music was so loud for such a small place, but maybe that's uncommon for the day I was there? I had an offline offer, so I was happy to use that and try a few items on the menu- almond milk cappuccino (nothing to write home about), large GF Peanut Butter cookie for my fam (they loved this cookie dearly), but my main meal was literally the best part. The croissant was toasted lightly, generously topped w/ eggs, smoked salmon and feta. This item was 100% worth it's price. I couldn't finish more than the eggs and a few bits of salmon which was super generously placed on the plate. Overall, I was more disappointed in the finer details, and for the loudness of the music. I'm hard of hearing, and having any conversation without being able to sit outside was embarrassingly hard for me (outside seating was full). My experience is particular so please take that with a grain of salt; and quite possibly I'll convince someone to drive me out here and try again in the future.

Yelp
Bull and Bean is tucked away in a strip mall, but that doesn't detract from its down-to-earth, homey feel. For brunch this morning, I got their "fan favorite" avocado toast and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. On a slice of thick multigrain bread from Guglhupf, the avocado was ripe, spread thickly, and seasoned quite well. I also appreciated B and B's commitment to supporting local vendors- candles, peanut butter, and planners from other small businesses were all on display. There was definitely room for improvement when it came to the coffee, though. They didn't have almond or oat milk so I got an iced vanilla latte with soy milk, which was just okay. I'd come back for breakfast, but probably get coffee somewhere else.

Yelp
EXTREMELY busy on Saturday morning. Had the turkey and brie sandwich... good amount of turkey, but could have used twice as much brie. My wife really enjoyed her smoked salmon bagel and pumpkin latte.
google avatar

Natasha S.

Yelp
I had never heard of this place but saw it after leaving the Shannon Rd post office. I was pleasantly surprised to find they offered more than coffee because I was hungry. I ordered the Grits bowl with shrimp and 2 eggs over medium with regular coffee. My daughter ordered the salmon toast, side of cheesy grits, and a iced lavendar latte. She was satisfied with her order. My food was fine but...bland. I added S&P and still bland. If I ever come back, I will try something else. Maybe a safe choice like bagle and a specialty coffee instead of the regular coffee. It's a nice place though.
google avatar

Sophia N.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised that Bull and Bean was having their 10 year anniversary specials this past weekend. The steak was tender and cooked well and the eggs were yummy, but the hash browns were pretty salty. My friends said theirs was either ok or under-seasoned and potatoes are my favorite part of brunch. The coffee was good but my friend said her matcha didn't taste like matcha at all. Am looking forward to coming back to try other menu items!

Diane K.

Yelp
I was far from impressed. They're not friendly at all . I was at the counter reading the menu when the employee behind the counter grabbed it from me to give to another customer even though there was a pile of menus in front of him. We decided to go somewhere else to eat.

Yelp
What a great find off of Yelp. My wife and I were searching for a new place for breakfast and boy did we hit a home run. Fun, youthful, family atmosphere. The place is not big to be sure so it feels very crowded in a good kind of way. There's a protocol for dining. Go to the register and order and pay. Take your number and find a table inside or out. You fetch your napkins, tableware, soft drinks, water and coffee. If you want a specialty coffee they will bring it to you. After you're finished you bus your own table to a station in the back of the restaurant. Now, for the food. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the Brioche French toast and I had the Italian Breakfast Skillet. The Skillet was incredibly flavorful and generous with all of the fresh ingredients served piping hot. There was nothing left on my wife's plate except a bit of the generous amount of whipped cream on her French toast. Not that there was anything left to take home, but there was I'd go fetch a to-go box. You can bet we'll be back!
google avatar

Cindy B.

Yelp
Had brunch there and really enjoyed it. Realized that it is very self serve. You go up and place your order then go find your drink and silver. Bus your dishes at the end. But the atmosphere is charming and the food was delicious. Be aware that the specials and the daily menu are similar so you need to specify which one you want. Got the wrong one but it was still yummy so lesson learned and no big deal. Nice variety of menu options so everyone will find something they like. Only suggestion is to have more menus available for new patrons!
google avatar

Yelp
This truly is a nice and quant restaurant/diner with friendly staff who pride themselves in a quality product for the customers consumption. This was actually my 3rd time eating here. The Steak Eggs and loaded Hashbrown breakfast is a item to have for brunch. Today my wife and I had Phil's favorite BLT with Avocado. Perfect for someone not wanting to much or too little and my wife ordered the Chicken Philly. The greedy me wished I order that. It was so great and the chicken was so tender. I would definitely recommend this spot. I would advise that tables are first come first serve in a sense you seat yourself. The would be the only downfall if any but service is fast and typically waiting for a table is not long.

Yelp
Food= fair Coffee= awful - basically water Service= good Ambiance= good Doubt I'd return

Yelp
I can't believe I haven eaten here sooner. Everything is exceptional. Great atmosphere. My only complaint is they ran out of a dessert I wanted! Lesson learned--come early!

Yelp
We were passing by and needed to stop by for breakfast. We saw that this place got a great review and ordered the breakfast burrito. Oh how we regretted our choice... 3 eggs, sure but with no salt. Meat? Sure, one piece. It had no flavor... definitely would not go back.

Erin S.

Yelp
I come here several days a week. However today pissed me off and not sure ill be back. I open my emails and there's an email from these people saying i paid for a huge boxed lunch order of almost $1000. Not mine. I was immediately livid so i call and she nonchalantly tells me she billed me instead of another person with my name. It was like no big deal to her when she could've sent me an email telling me there was a mistake instead of me getting so angry i cant breathe. That's what angers me the most she didn't care and acted like its no big deal. She did say sorry but it didn't seem very sincere. None of the people who work there are particularly friendly. Not rude but not friendly either.
google avatar

Jeff F.

Yelp
I decided to give this place a second try and I'm glad I did! I need to revise my previous review as it seems that before I ordered the wrong items. This time I ordered the loaded hash browns and an iced coffee. The hash browns were absolutely delicious and the iced coffee was probably the best I've ever had!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite brunch places. The ambiance is really cool and unique and the service was friendly and fast. The food was AMAZING. Large portions, quick, but clearly freshly made. Ingredients and menu items are creative and clearly there is a focus on health and wellness. I had a delicious breakfast bowl that left me super full and super happy as well as some really good coffee. Although I can't remember what my girlfriend had, I DO remember she really liked it and keeps mentioning she wants to go back. Maybe this weekend! Update: went a second time since they have changed their name and was slightly less impressed with the food quality. My fiancé had the same thing she had last time (loaded hash brown plate with brisket) and the portions were somewhat smaller and not quite as flavorful. I had the hangover cure sandwich and was not impressed, it was fine but would not order it again. Also ordered a mimosa for 6 dollars that really just seemed like a 6 dollar glass of OJ. The positives though? Ambiance was still really cool, coffee was great, and they did give us a free smoothie bowl due to technically difficulties with the register which resulted in a somewhat longer wait time for food, so i thought that was great.

Yelp
I went to the Bull and Bean yesterday for the best pizza I've had in a long time! I had a Margarita pizza with some Bull beer. The beer was very good and refreshing. Check it out for yourself. They have 10 inch pizzas available.

Yelp
Positives: French toast was delicious! Hash browns (shredded) were ok, but needed a bigger plate for the amount of hash browns that were on it. My daughter had blueberry pancakes, which were huge and she said were really good. Bacon was crisp, just like I like it. Negatives: There needs to be signage or something to let new customers know that this is a self-service restaurant. There's a lot going on in this place and a lot to see (pastries/desserts at side of counter, merchandise at front of restaurant, items for purchase in the fridge.) Didn't know where the menus nor silverware were located and had to ask for the table to be cleaned. The food is good and I would like to return to try one of their sandwiches. The cashier was friendly.
