From the moment we arrived at The Bull in Burford, it felt like something special. The place has this perfect mix of cozy countryside charm and modern touches that make you feel instantly at home. Our room was honestly stunning. It was spacious, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully styled. Still, the real highlight of our stay was the food. But the real star of the stay was the food. Every single dish was packed with flavor and clearly made with love by an incredible team of chefs. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the menu. Whether you’re just popping in for a bite or staying the night, The Bull is the kind of place you’ll be talking about long after you leave. We’re already planning our next visit.

I have genuinely never slept so well. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the showers are amazing. Plus, every room comes with a Dyson hairdryer - a lovely touch. Every detail has been very well thought out, and the moment you walk through the door, you feel instantly relaxed. The food was exceptional, and the staff made me feel so well taken care of. We loved our Poker night too!! Can’t wait to return very soon!

The Sunday lunch is superb. The quality of the meats were top notch and portions are big. We had a carrot tart for starter which was outstanding. Service is excellent, attentive and friendly. A lovely atmosphere with beautiful surroundings. There is an optional 20% tip on the bill which was deserved.

Gorgeous hotel. Husband had booked as a surprise wedding anniversary night away (no children yay). The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated with a lovely walk-in shower and huge super kingsize bed. My husband had also booked a table for dinner in the restaurant which was also a lovely surprise and we really enjoyed our food. Staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of downsides which would have made our stay that little bit more special is the fact our wedding anniversary wasn’t acknowledged even though my husband had taken time to email (as mentioned in booking if you have a special request). We weren’t expecting champagne/chocolates but it would have been nice even the wine glasses were missing in the room (I know I should have phoned room service) and no tea bags which we did ask for. I know the room he paid for wasn’t the cheapest and It’s just little touches which make a stay more personable and makes you want to return for another stay and feel a little bit of luxury.

This was by far our favorite stay in our trip to England. The hotel is beautiful, well decorated, cozy. The photos on the website reflect everything perfectly. We loved our room, shower and bed were great, everything so comfortable and very clean. The room was spacious and was made as requested. The location was a great base for multiple short day trips. The food on the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) were delicious. The bar was cozy and had different sitting areas. Staff was so nice and welcoming. The pantry is a really nice touch. Seriously, I'm so glad I found this hotel, everything was perfect.

The Bull is a beautiful Hotel, the decor has been well thought out and the Artwork which can be found in the hotels various nooks and crannies perfectly adds to the aesthetics. We loved the earthy tones of our room and the bed was so comfy. ||Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, set us up nicely for a day in the Cotswold's. Burford itself is a beautiful village with lots of coffee shops to relax in and antique shops to spend time finding a bargain. It is also perfectly situated to explore the area.||Wild was an exceptional experience, the food was amazingly tasty, Chef Ben made the night as he was engaging with incredible food knowledge.||Whilst a stay at the Bull isn't cheap, the old saying "you get what you pay for" rings true.

Beautifully and thoughtfully renovated, The Bull in Burford is nothing short of outstanding. Whether you're seeking a luxurious overnight stay or simply an unforgettable culinary experience, this destination delivers on every level.||For something truly unique, I highly recommend the WILD Experience with Chef Ben Chamberlain. Whether you're booking as a group for a private evening or joining as an individual or couple alongside other fortunate guests, this immersive dining event is not to be missed.||The standout? The Ex-Dairy Steak, expertly cooked over an open flame right before your eyes. It's a masterclass in flavour and technique—unforgettable from the first bite.||This is one of those rare places that lingers in your memory long after you've left. Thank me later!

Yelp
We had dinner here to thank some relatives for their hospitality. We had been staying just down the road, so it was very easy to get to. However, if you are traveling to Burford just for lunch or dinner, parking in the high Street can be quite a challenge. This is a very cozy establishment that features dining and bar areas and strikes the perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort. There is a bit of rustic, a lot of classy, and a general sense of warmth that is amplified by the very welcoming service. The menu is small but mighty and offers the bounty of the season. The vegetarian options are fairly limited, but the gnocchi was extra delicious--rich and creamy with heaps of umami from a variety of mushrooms, it was a hug in a bowl. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding, which was amazing. (I specifically requested a single spoon.) The toffee sauce was the perfect balance of bitter and sweet with a touch of salt, and it hit exactly right. I definitely recommend dining here if you are staying in Burford.

Yelp
We've been doing a trip and we started off in London, in Guildford. It was a 3-starred hotel with great conditions and normal breakfast. We expected this hotel would be much better for the huge price (almost the double of the price) and didn't deliver it... £170 for TILTED FLOOR, POOR ATTEMPT TO BALANCE and horrible beds, come on...a sofa-bed...really...for a pricey hotel?? Poor safety conditions with horrible noise in the background. I honestly would sleep better in a £50 hotel...! The bathroom is mediocre and the water takes a while to heat and the only thing giving those 2 stars rating from me are the little village which is cute and the Wi-Fi! I was in this place for 2 nights and tried to cancel a night because of the horrible conditions and the owner was too lazy to do it, horrible excuses. Strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND
