"The Midtown tapas restaurant offers a three-course prix-fixe menu during weekend brunch for $30 per person. Start off with ham croquettas or chickpea and chorizo stew. Move on to braised pork hash or a BEC with a tetilla cheese omelette on multigrain bread. Finally, order coconut flan or churros served with dipping chocolate for dessert. Pair it all with either bottomless mimosas or sangria for an extra $20 per person." - Beth McKibben

We had an incredible meal and much of the magic came from the outstanding service and culinary talent behind the scenes. Our server Rachel was amazing. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire meal. Chef Tony stopped by knowing I was a vegetarian and gave phenomenal recommendations. every dish was beautifully presented. You can tell he puts real heart into his craft. Between Chef Tony’s exceptional cooking and Rachel’s top-tier hospitality, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be asking for Rachel!

Fonzell was an amazing server… sweet, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He explained everything so well and gave us great recommendations. The sangrias were a great (red for my partner, white for me), and the food overall was delicious; especially the flan and the salmon plate. Not the biggest fan of the pancakes, but only because I wasn’t expecting the blueberry compote on top (didn’t know it was a compote thought berries would be mixed in the batter).

I love me some tapas and drove past this one day so I decided to give it a try. The food was delicious, no issues there. Me and my sister shared patatas bravas, albondigas, tuna tartare, and the sautéed garlic shrimp. Also enjoyed my lavender margarita although I wish it had a touch more of lavender. Our server Tristan was great too. Food also came out super quick! The only issue I had with the place was ambiance. I felt like it gave chain restaurant energy which is a shame for such a cute spot. The lighting was just a bit bright and the music was giving Panera. In fact the ambiance in general was giving Panera. I don’t know how else to explain it. The temperature was also very warm — I was sweating by the time we left. No hate to Bulla. I just think it could do with slightly dimmer lighting, more vibey music, and turn the AC up. Maybe some candles to give it more of a mood.

Decided to go outside the box and landed upon Bulla. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. Pat was our server and walked us through the menu and personal/guest favorites. We lived the meatballs and grilled steak were amazing! The potatos bravos were good but definitely need an accompanying protein. We then had the beef and chicken paella. So good! The only thing was we wished the steak that was on the appetizer was the same steak for the paella. Make sure to eat the jalapeno. Added just the right amount of spice. Also. Make sure u use their garage. We parked across the street. The manager ended up getting us discounted parking. Overall we will definitely be back. Thanks Pat!

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Bulla. Nhya was our server and she was AMAZING! She made our experience so special. The food, service and ambiance were on point. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. Nhya went above and beyond including presenting us with a handwritten anniversary card. We will definitely be back!

Google
Visited several times and recent decided to give the brunch a try with a friend, I believe Tristan was super helpful in suggestions and drink orders simply staying on top of us at the table. The food was served hot and most importantly together and hot, the mimosa and patio space just made for an enjoyable end to a great weekend and catching up. While everything was great the brunch combo was even better especially the desert option, often too full for dessert when it’s left as a menu option to complete the deal the coconut flan took us by surprise. Not only lactose free but flavorful and refreshing. A necessary brunch spot to bring all Friends to.

The food and atmosphere was amazing! Everything was nice and hot when it arrived to the table. Our server was Simone. Thank you for providing exceptional customer service.

We had an amazing dining experience at Bulla Gastrobar, and a big part of that was thanks to Tristan, our waitress. She’s not only incredibly beautiful, but also exceptionally helpful and attentive. She constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Her energy and professionalism truly made our evening special. Thank you, Tristan — we’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Christina was our host and she was absolutely amazing! We loved all our suggestions from her and the service was great! We really wanted to come back again but didn't have enough time. Things we ordered: Paella - seafood and Meat - AMAZING Soup - yellow color - forgot what it was but also super good Sauteed Shrimp - really good Chocolate desert with olive oil - amazing We really wanted to try the oreo cheesecake but they ran out! You wont regret coming here and the service is amazing! The restaurant manager was regularly coming to each table and asking how things were going and iv there is anything she can do to help. She was great and really is passionate about her work.

Yelp
Good brunch. Bloody Mary is fresh made, it was refreshing. Bottomless mimosa option is nice. Small plate offerings allow you to food journey. Service is standard, nothing memorable. Sometimes that's a good thing these days (post covid). No parking or validation. Restroom is on second floor (elevator only). Dining room is clean, ambiance is pleasing. Ended up hanging out for 2 hours. Revisit...

Yelp
The food and drinks are delicious (highly recommend the lavender margarita, the grilled octopus, and the garlic shrimp; paella looked amazing and I'm getting that next time). The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive (our server's name was Rachel; she was great). The only reason this is not a five-star review is because Bulla's layout and seating are not very accessible for anyone using a wheelchair or with a significant mobility impairment. All of the tables I saw in the main dining area were elevated, meaning that you have to perch on a barstool or elevated banquette to eat, and the foot rung for the banquette is recessed, which made for an awkward mount and dismount. Not clear how someone using a wheelchair would be able to access the table at all, and someone with mobility impairments would have difficulty getting into the seat to begin with. The bathrooms are two full flights of stairs up (stair wise, it's the third-floor). There's an elevator; if anyone in your party is going to need to use it, just make sure it's working before you go.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my experience at Bulla for happy hour. One thing to note is that it only occurs at the bar so make sure to get there early enough because it does fill up. They specialize in small plates but the price is cheap enough that you can get a whole bunch and indulge or share with friends. The Margherita pizza is a good place to start and easy to share. My favorite was definitely the ham croquettes with the fig jelly!

Yelp
I came here for a weeknight dinner with some friends! I walked over, but there's parking I believe in a deck nearby. Our server was super friendly and generously gave us a lot of time to catch up and read over the EXTENSIVE menu they have! We split a pitcher of sangria which gave each of us about 2 glasses and some change. I really liked their sangria and it had a good buzz to it! We decided to share tapas and ended up splitting the few options that would work for our group's dietary restrictions (some could only have chicken and seafood, so our menu was a little limited and I wish there were some more vegetarian options available). We ordered the calamari, patatas bravas, chicken pinxtos, and chicken croquettes. Pur food came out pretty promptly and I really liked the calamari, especially the sauce it came with! The patatas bravas are a classic for a reason and the chicken pinxtos were our absolute favorite. The meat on these skewers was so tender and just fell off! I do wish there was more than just 2 in an order however, or that it was indicated on the menu. The curry flavor of the chicken croquettes was interesting and not my favorite, so I would skip that. Overall, good tapas spot in Midtown and great for groups.

Yelp
I just got to say was my first time there and I loved it , we order steak and eggs ( the chimichurri was fantastic !!! The salmon tapas the shredded pork over potatoes, garlic shrimp ( very good ) everything was very good , but our waitress NEHA she was outstanding very knowledgeable, very sweet and she told us it was her second week only working there . She definitely elevated the whole experience. My only issue with the place will be that it takes time to get the beverage specially if u having mimosas , I spoke with Celeste the manager ( very personable) and I promised to her I'll come back and we really hope truly that this young girl will be there making everyone experience better with the her great costumer service !!!

Yelp
We came back on a Sunday evening. The service was much better because the place was not packed. We ordered the grill steak and Rojo Sangria. This is a tapas place so the portions are large enough to share but not big enough for a full meal. The steak was extremely flavorful and tender. I did not care much for the potato chips. Next, we tried the flatbread pizza with chorizo, which was a great choice. The crust was crispy and the toppings were flavorful. It was a great option for sharing or enjoying as a main course. They make sure to use large tomato slices on the flatbread which makes it unique. We also had the bulla burger, and it did not disappoint. The patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It was a classic burger done right. I really liked the breakfast potatoes that came with it. Be sure to ask for ketchup. For drinks, the Sangria has quite a nice kick to it. Probably because they put liquor in it. The fresh fruit is also a nice touch. Overall, I highly recommend Bulla Gastrobar for a delicious meal in a fun and vibrant atmosphere. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu offerings.

Yelp
I've eaten here twice now when in Atlanta and really enjoy the food. The crowd is nicer too, as I think it's slightly upscale compared to other parts of the city where we've dined. Service has always been fine - friendly and relatively quick. Today we had a couple of dishes from their choose two for $16.50 menu. I ordered the Patatas Bravas and a Pintxo Platter (chicken skewers with a chimichurri sauce, rice, and salad). It was plenty of food and a very good value I think overall. There much more on the menu to try and I look forward to coming back again when in town.

Yelp
Outside of the gnats/flies/mosquitoes from it being outdoor/indoor... Everything was really good! Highly recommend the smoked salmon montaditos, the burger, ricotta pancakes cannot go wrong! The flatbread had too much sauce causing everything to slide but the mushrooms were delicious. Our server was new, so I would give the service a 7/10. Bottomless mimosas or sangria for $22 or prefix 3 course brunch for $30, can't beat it!!

Yelp
I've become a regular here! There's validated parking in the 60 11th building if you can find a spot. The service is always great and tonight Taylor was our waitress and so amazing. We even got a birthday treat while celebrating my friend. I'll never hesitate to recommend this place for dinner or even brunch!

Yelp
We did a "field trip" tonight to a Spanish Tapas place.... OMG what a treat! Patatas Brava with spicy sauce and aioli Pimientos de Pardon Blistered Shishito Peppers with Sea Salt Ham Croquettes with fig jam (best I've ever tasted) So happy to find out they have a location in Dallas! We need one in Houston!

Yelp
Went here for a bestfriends birthday dinner! The place itself is pretty cute, we were sat at a half booth half table on the right side of the restaurant. The service was okay, our waitress checked on us a few times and all but it was standard service, not really too personable or outstanding. Their appetizers are absolutely delicious! That being said, their main courses are eh. We also got the seafood paella to share between the 5 of us. Maybe it was just us, but the paella just tasted like tomatoes and seemed to be lacking any other flavor, it was pretty bland. Would probably not spend another $50 on it again, would rather have spent that towards more appetizers! I would say yes to coming again but certainly not in a rush towards it.

Yelp
Dinner at Bulla with the girls was amazing ! Our server was incredibly pleasant and accommodating to our requests. I adore the atmosphere and the diverse selection of tapas. We dined upstairs, which was ideal--the noise level was just right, allowing us to converse without shouting over each other. My friends and I cherish a good dining experience, so we began with the charcuterie board. I also indulged in the in-house lavender lemonade, which was delightfully refreshing. Afterward, we ordered the Mediterranean salad and the salmon carpaccio. Which was both delicious, opening up our pallet for the calamari and the steak. The grilled steak was paired with truffle potatoes and mushroom. For desert we had the Cafe Bombon - Sweetened condensed milk, espresso with the Torijjo. The Cafe Bombon was crafted so beautifully and the taste was so good! Quality to say the least. A few additional points to consider: They offer complimentary parking validation for up to three hours in the adjacent parking lot. This restaurant is an ideal choice for any celebratory occasion. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The restroom, located on the second floor, is clean, and there is also an elevator available for convenience. Overall, great experience and I look forward to checking out the brunch menu soon.

Yelp
I stopped in before taking the train to the airport after teaching a class at my office. I love tapas and I am consistent in what I order. Patatas Bravas and Paella. Great meal before leaving town. Service was on par. The restaurant was welcoming and vibrant. All good! Thanks. 5 stars

Yelp
This is my second time visiting Bulla and it was another great experience. Cecil was our server for the evening and he so extremely pleasant, knew the menu well and was very attentive. The food was also fantastic and I literally could have eaten the bread and marinara sauce from the meatballs all evening! My only con with the Lavender Margarita is that I finished it too quickly due to it being so GOOD! That caused me only a couple of them. Lol
google avatar

Briana W.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience, great service from our waiter Cecil, and delicious food. The Spanish margaritas was delicious and one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. The paella and garlic shrimp was delicious and both very flavorful. Everything was great.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Nice ambience and very friendly service. The patatas bravas were a bit starchier than I like but had a nice crisp on the outside and tasty sauce. We also really liked the grilled octopus and the delicious bed of corn it was served on, but were not huge fans of how dry the brisket was in the montaditos. The mushrooms con chorizo were alright but nothing special. Also FYI, if you're using Yelp there's a deal to save $10 if spending $40 or more.

Yelp
I frequently walked by this restaurant for years and it didn't really strike me to visit until a friend invited me for a drink there. Keeping it short, service was Ok. The waitress had a bit of an attitude but I just brushed it off. The Tapa selection was marginal. I've enjoyed Barcelona or even Eclipse De Luna more! IMO you'll notice when you look at the menu. Last, the waitress combined our checks when I had 1 drink and 2 tapas and my friend had 2 shots, 2 drinks and 3 tapas. She actually gave pushback when I brought this to her attention & any common sense waiter/waitress would notice that detail, however I just tapped the card to pay, took a mental note and realized this is why I always had walked by and never came. Sometimes the universe just knows.....

Yelp
I stopped by for their pick two lunch special. Bulla is located in midtown. The area can be really busy, so I'm glad they validate parking for the parking garage off of 11th St NE. The server was nice and attentive. He started us with sparkling and still water, while he gave us a chance to look over the menu. He also gave us his recommendations. We went with the ham croquettes (which were more like cheese balls), salmon carpaccio (was really good), montaditos, truffle carbonara, and Cuban sandwich. The Cuban could've been heftier with more of the ingredients. The drinks were good.
google avatar

Nicole J.

Yelp
My second visit here and I was blown away once again. I love the tapas options since the menu has a lot of selections. I started with the dark rum mojito, and it was beyond refreshing. I tried the tuna tarter for the first time. I was expecting the tuna tarter to be separate from the wonton chips, but the tuna was placed on six chips and sauce drizzled on top. Although I was delicious, I wish the portion was a little larger. I had the sauteed shrimp previously, so I made sure to order it again. Overall, I 5 a great evening. The one issue I had was with the bartender, I don't recall his name. He didn't acknowledge us upon sitting down and ordering with him felt very rushed. Like he didn't want to be at work, basically.
google avatar

Yelp
WOW! One of my new favorite restaurants! To begin, they offer complimentary parking which is always nice in a big city. We walked in and were seated promptly. The ambiance is pretty neat and you do feel like you are in Spain. They have a really cool bar. I had the horchata to drink which was good. We also had: -Patatas Bravas: OMG THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! I cannot get over how good they were. -Grilled Octopus: delicious and on a bed of corn purée which was perfect. -Pan con Tomate with Manchego: soooo good!! -Sautéed Garlic Shrimp: this was recommended by the server and we enjoyed it! The Chef came out to talk to us and he was so nice! I cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
I've been coming here for years.. The drinks here are so deliciously refreshing and the tapas and paella are what's shine here. I've especially enjoyed the brunch menu. There's a salmon on bread that I am obsessed with and they have this brunch paella with eggs. Yummy!! Service is normally very spot on. Though I do remember one time i remember bringing my out of town friends here and we ordered the seafood paella for dinner and it was terrible. No flavor and taste very plain and not like what I remember.. My friends were mildly entertained but I was super embarrassed since I've always raved about Bulla. Now since I live across the street, I'll come here and there. Now I see my self here sometimes for brunch. Overall.. tapas are my favorite so I'll always crave it and the drinks are so special and always hits the spot!

Yelp
Food service and ambiance. Lilly was the sweetest. Blah blah blah so it lets me post this :)

Yelp
My brother picked a spot but I wanted Spanish food so he googled and came upon this spot. I'm sad that I changed his mind. He was going for the 2/$ deal they didn't have 4 of the things he wanted to try so he let the server talk him into Patatas Bravas which we've had before and these were not it! Pretty much roasted potatoes covered in a reddish orange sauce drizzled with an aioli sauce. This was a FAIL! We both tried it and left them untouched. He got the paella which had NO seafood only 3 pieces of chicken. He got an order of calamari which was only OK. He also got a salmon dish that sat on sautéed spinach with chickpeas. He didn't look pleased at all. I got the truffle carbonara and added chicken. It tasted like something from Olive Garden. Would I suggest this place? No! Would I go back? Heck no!

Yelp
Always on the lookout for a good happy hour, wife and I were going to see a show at Fox and this came up as nearby, which it is. They have happy hour drinks Monday through Friday from 3 to 6:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday 4 to 6:30 PM. This applies throughout the restaurant. The happy hour food, however, only applies to the bar, which is very unfortunate. The happy hour food is only from 3 to 6 PM Monday through Friday and 4 to 6 PM Saturday and Sunday. Bar is seat yourself (no reservations) but they take reservations for regular dining tables. They also apparently validate parking, but only in the parking structure around the corner, not the one directly across the street, which is where we unfortunately parked. Fortunately, the sports bar across the street was able to validate us after staff informed us, which was fortuitous. On to the food and drink: all I can say it is it was all excellent. I try not to frivolously hand out five stars, but between the service and food, quality and price (with happy hour) it deserves it. Worst thing first - the hummus was not anything special and the worst thing we ordered, but was not terrible by any means. Comparatively, something has to be the worst. We ordered almost everything off of the food happy hour menu, wife loved the patatas bravas sauce - was dipping everything in it after. Has a nice spice, full of flavor, she wanted to know what was in it. Tuna tartare also excellent, so good we ordered two. Steak Montaditos were excellent, loved the whole pepper - maybe a green chile? Steak cooked perfectly. Chicken skewer also tasty, succulent, would have ordered another one if we weren't so full. Smoked salmon was pretty good as well. The garlic shrimp was delicious, we liked the brandy with pepper flakes. Bartender was very friendly, busy but hard-working and didn't miss a beat on the service. She could use a barback - just saying. We were lucky enough to get 2 seats at the bar but on a busy night, I can see when this would not be feasible. I don't understand why happy hour food is only at the bar. I would also be curious what the portion sizes are compared to the "regular menu". I opted for the red wine on the happy hour menu, which is excellent, I tend to prefer cabernets and by no means am I a sommolier. But I liked enough that I asked to take a picture of the bottle as you can see. Wife liked her Cosmo, but it was a bit on the sweet side depending on your preference. We both ended up going to the red wine. Overall, I'd definitely be back but likely only with the wife for happy hour food. Getting more than two seats at the bar is likely impossible. I would come back with a large group for the happy hour drinks.

Yelp
I came to Bulla about two weekends ago for dinner with my fiancé and two of our other friends. I have been here a few times before, but they've all been for either brunch or lunch, never for dinner. We came here after a cocktail making class, so we were HUNGRY. We had made a reservation, since it was a Friday night, so highly recommend making a reservation if you are going to be going on a busy time for dinner. Bulla is a tapas place, meaning the menu is designed for you to get a few different things to try and share with your group. We all had a drink and shared all of the food. The girls got a Lemongrass Collins, I got a Spanish Margarita, and the other guy grabbed a beer. My margarita was excellent!!! Not too sour, not too strong, the perfect balance of what a margarita should be. The girls loved their drink as well, also had a good balance. It was a gin drink, but it didn't taste so strong like how you would normally think. The beer was a beer, nothing special there. For food we all shared. We got the Chicken Paella, Tuna Tartare, Patatas Bravas, and the Brussels Sprouts. Everything was SO GOOD. The chicken paella did take quite some time, but our server did tell us this ahead of time. We got the chicken one, because some of us didn't eat seafood, but they do have your traditional type of Paellas as well! The Tuna Tartare tasted fresh and flavorful too. We ran out of the chips, but they gave us some more at no charge. The patatas bravas were good, but nothing special. But it came with a nice aioli sauce drizzled on the top. And last, the brussels sprouts. They were really tasty! They were cooked perfectly to still have that crispy element, but still soft too. And the sauce it was served in, was this tangy kind of sauce. SO good! The food was all honestly great. Nothing tasted bad, nothing was inaccurately described, etc. Bulla is an excellent place to go for dinner! They do a brunch menu too, and obviously lunch as well. The staff is all so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server was happy to answer any of the questions we had, and didn't give us any attitude or anything like that at all. The food and drinks are all so good too. I will definitely be back in the future!!

Yelp
Great food, fun vibe, and Iliana was a stellar server. The prices were very fair and portions were generous for tapas.

Yelp
I came here a few weeks ago because I had to wait for my appointment and I see why it's full in here all the time. I came during happy hour and set up the bar. Everyone was so nice! They had good music going on and I was singing along lol I started off with a French 75. It was mixed very well! As for the food I ordered patatas bravas, pintxo muruno, and steak montaditos. The pintxo muruno was sooo good. I loved the yogurt sauce and the pork was tender/moist. I also got churros to go but forgot to take a picture. They were good and come with chocolate and caramel dipping sauce. Overall great experience. The only thing I wish is the happy hour is not just at the bar. It would be nice to have a table since I work around the corner and my coworkers go out often.

Yelp
We loved it. We loved the food. The service was great and the waiter handed us off to a new waiter. I also enjoyed The vibe after lunch- peaceful but still had guests. Highly recommend

Yelp
Happy hour here is super solid, so if you don't go any other time, do it from 3p to 6p. They have some great options. I only looked at drinks but they have plenty of small plate options on the happy hour menu as well. Service was good to me. Everyone that assisted me at the bar was great and super helpful. I would come back and honestly maybe just sit at the bar during happy hour and get some work done perhaps. It was a really good vibe and had some great views and ambience. If you are inside or outside (or even upstairs) it all was a really good look. The only weird thing was that you had to go all the way upstairs to use the bathroom, that isn't their fault but it was just odd lol. The bar is filled with fresh ingredients so you can definitely assume they take time to craft fresh cocktails. I always appreciate it when you can see that they put sometime in the crafting of drinks, starting from the ingredients on up. The Ibiza sangria was decent, and then I got an old fashioned (big surprise).

Yelp
I'm on the hunt for the best chicken & waffles in the city. I would have to give this place a solid B. The chicken was a bit rubbery. Everything else was great. Our waiter was great. Pleasant atmosphere but the waffles was light and fluffy but the chicken could've been better. Also, the drinks were superb. Overall a good spot to lunch at. We went here after church. Check them out and support small businesses

Yelp
Really liked this place! Loved the outside patio and the food and service were really good! The octopus was def the star of the show. Seriously so good. Fun to pick different tapas and share!

Yelp
This was a disappointing birthday brunch. I had this spot on my list for a while and decided this would be a good opportunity to try it. I will say the small plates we tried were pretty good. We had ceviche, brisket, tuna tartare, and grilled shrimp. The drinks also shined! Lavender margarita was delicious! The entrees was where it went down hill. I was so excited about the paella. It was bland and flavorless. The rice was a little mushy as well. To have to wait 30 for this was wild. The manager was very nice about it and took it off. We had the chicken and waffles which was not great. The burger was good and the fry's . They needed salt but the sauce made it good . It was a cute spot but I don't think I will be back.

Yelp
I have always loved this restaurant for any meal including brunch. Came here this past week with some friends who haven't been and they really enjoyed the tapas. I would argue it's better than the more well known tapas restaurants in the city. Our waitress was awesome and so helpful too. She gave us enough time to socialize without leaving us hanging. I always like the atmosphere here as well. It's a cute restaurant, busy but not loud or crowded. I would recommend a reservation for a weekend night though!

Yelp
I came in for a late brunch/early dinner on Thursday. I was seated outdoors at a high top, and the staff were quite respectful of my doing work on my computer at the restaurant. My food came out quickly and everything was delicious as usual! I repeat ordered the croquettes from my last visit, and tried the two others for the first time. I wasn't aware the still water cost a pretty penny ($8) but they let me take it home lol. It also took a while to get noticed by my server but I guess they're not fully staffed before dinner service and there were still quite a few tables.

Yelp
Went to check out Bulla after ACC conference and boy, the food was amazing. We have visited many regions of Spain and love the Spanish cuisine. We found the food at Bulla particularly flavorful, better than Barcelona wine bar and Iberian Pig tbh. We ordered 6 items as in the photos, my personal favorite were the montaditos, recommended by our wonderful server Imram who was extremely spot on with all her recommendations. Will come back here to try their brunch menu someday!

Yelp
I'm proudly what I (and my credit card provider) consider to be a super regular at Bulla. I'm serious. I get withdrawal like shakes if I don't stuff their patatas bravas down my hole at least once a week. Bulla has what I consider to be the best brunch special in Atlanta. I'm personally not a brunch person - and this isn't your typical brunch experience. It's 100x better!! You get to choose from a 3 course prix-fixe menu. I've tried enough combinations that it could probably be a brain teaser question on an entry level probability exam. Every sequence I've had not only works perfectly but exceeds expectations. This place is so much more than brunch though. Try their happy hour bar menu from 3-6pm everyday for a taste of their signature tapas at fractional menu prices. Even though this place is always PACKED, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to either receive food or a libation.

Yelp
Loved our server and ambiance. The space is clean and, fresh. There were nice tunes playing. Outdoor seating was cute. Loved the garlic shrimp and our cocktails! The Collins was refreshing and tasty! One of the best I've had. I enjoyed this visit.

Yelp
Visit: 2022 Review finished: 3/2024 Unfortunately I am attempting to finish this review in 2024, long after visiting this establishment so I do not recall my visit here besides giving it 4/5 stars. Regardless, in my very trusted book of ratings, I enjoyed this spot and the food and/or drinks were great! Despite the -1 star, I'll probs give it a try again one day and do a better job reviewing next time.

Yelp
I visited this establishment after watching the Barbie movie, hoping to enjoy their Barbie cocktails. Unfortunately, they were no longer available. However, despite this minor setback, my overall experience was truly delightful! First and foremost, I would like to give a big shout out to our server, Iram. She mentioned being new to the team, but her warmth, personable nature, and helpfulness throughout our visit were truly exceptional. Iram's presence made us feel completely at ease and added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. Moving on to the food, my friend and I indulged in a variety of dishes, including the Patatas Bravas, Sautéed Garlic Shrimp, Montaditos, and Grilled Octopus. Each dish was a delectable treat, with the Patatas Bravas being an absolute standout. The sauce accompanying it was simply divine. The Montaditos also left a lasting impression, bursting with flavor and satisfying our cravings perfectly. However, I must admit that the Grilled Octopus fell slightly short of expectations. It appeared to be overcooked and had a slightly charred taste, which didn't quite align with my personal preference. To complement my meal, I opted for the Lavender Margarita, and it proved to be a refreshing and delightful choice. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. There are so many other enticing dishes on the menu that I can't wait to try, particularly the Paella. I highly recommend this place for its exceptional service, delicious food, and the promise of exciting culinary adventures yet to come!

Yelp
Look no further for your brunch needs. Because Bulla Gastrobar will satisfy it. Me and my date had reservations for 1245 on a Sunday and were promptly seated. This restaurant has a super great setup. There's the downstairs area with a pretty nice bar and it's pretty lively. Also they have a nice patio for outside sitting. We ate upstairs which seems to be primarily for big parties and the vibe is a little more formal. Also if you are a bird lover, watcher, or ornithologist you might find yourself very pleased with the interior design choice of this restaurants. There's a lot of birds on the walls lmao, randomly. Now the important part of the review! We ordered the patatas bravas, French toast, watermelon salad, Jamón, and tuna tatare. Everything was amazing, the patatas bravas without a doubt carried the show. This was my first time ever having them, and I honestly can't conceptualize them tasting any better than they did here. They were perfect! The only thing that left me unimpressed was the tuna tartare. It was very average. For the quality of food and portion size, the prices here are very fair! Also $30 bottomless mimosas is a must, but do yourself a favor and get the passionfruit. I regretfully got the regular mimosa, although it was pretty good the passionfruit was sensational. Solid bathrooms! There's very little street parking, but there is a parking garages across the street from the restaurant. I think they validate parking, but I complete forgot to ask. S/O to our waitress Caroline, she was great! Solid restaurant I will definitely be back. You're welcome!

Yelp
We went to Bulla for brunch on a Saturday and had Miya as our server. She was new but fantastic! Very detailed and friendly, she went over the menu with us and gave us good recommendations. We went with the brunch menu and preferred the ham croquettes, salmon montaditos, bulla burger, braised pork hash, blueberry ricotta pancakes and hazelnut waffles. They were out of blueberries so the ricotta pancakes had a raspberry compote instead, which were still amazing. The bottomless mimosas/sangria also did not disappoint! My favorite was the white wine sangrias but you know I tried them all! It was pretty empty when we got there at 11am when they opened but it definitely filled up by the time we left. I would definitely recommend for a cute fun brunch place for a date or out with the girls!

Yelp
If there's one thing you need to know about me, it's that I love tapas. I love the ability to order many different things and be able to taste them all. The tapas at Bulla have a good variety, but I've seen almost all the menu options on other tapas menus. We ordered the patatas bravas, montaditos, mushrooms con chorizo, and grilled steak. They were all very good, but I was surprised to find that my favorite dish was actually the grilled steak. It was marinated, cooked perfectly, topped with chimichurri, and served alongside this delicious mushroom foam. If I wasn't full, I would have ordered it a second time. For cocktails, we ordered the bougie palmer, lemongrass collins, mezcal paloma, and Mediterranean negroni. The mediterranean negroni was our favorite. It was topped with campari foam, which I thought was so unique. I had to add extra lime to the paloma, but that's just my preference. The atmosphere was very nice and upscale. We sat at the bar as usual, and all of the bartenders were friendly and helpful. Definitely a staple tapas restaurant!

Yelp
Food was good, but pricey for tapas. Also, for tapas restaurant, really need to revamp the wine list. Service was fast. Will go again.

Yelp
I love tapas so I was really excited to try this place. They do not disappoint. I love their cheese boards, brushetta and smoked salmon. Chris makes awesome cocktails. I also love how walkable the neighborhood is. I look forward to trying more items.

Yelp
Paella was excellent. It is enough food to share. Service was good. Blanco sangria was tasty. Salmon salad was very good. Interestingly, we wanted the salad & paella to come at the same time but they couldn't make that happen.
