The 14 Best Restaurants In Polanco

"Bulla isn’t just the best Spanish spot in Polanco—it’s the best Spanish restaurant in all of Mexico City. This place is unpretentious (with prices that are even less so), and its the kind of laid-back spot where you might come for lunch and end up drinking cañas till 7pm. You’ll be impressed by their perfectly runny tortilla de patatas, which you should combine with a pan con tomate and Mahou. For the main event, go in on the tapas-style dishes, like the tender pulpo a la gallega, and the croquetas de jamón serrano that are semi-crunchy outside and gooey inside. Head to the restaurant on Sundays when a shrimp-packed paella is served from a massive paellera. There are three Bulla locations, but we like this one for the corner terrace and lively energy." - guillaume guevara

Good service but could be better for a restaurant with this tradition. There seems to be a tendency for removing your cup before you finish your drink. Superb Tortilla de patatas. Great Papas Bravas. Do not order the Asturian Breaded steak with cheese. Too dry. Love the pintxos.

The food was delicious and tasty, the service was spotty at most for this price we’d have expected it to be fantastic

Stopped by for lunch without a reservation and got seated no problem. We were there just after they opened, though, so it might've been pre-lunch rush. For best results, make a reservation. Great food. The tuna was excellently cooked and delicious. Decent sangria, too. The atmosphere is a bit loud, but it wasn't too bad for an informal lunch. In all, good place for tasty Spanish food!

Great place for Spanish tapas, the food had authentic flavors, and a few basque options in the menu. I tried 2 of the pintxos and they were well prepared. I also liked the lechon confitado, it's like they press a portion of carnitas on a very hot pan, and it comes out with a really crispy crust. Low lighting and amenable music, suitable for a work event as well as a date. It can get busy, make a reservation.

Had a wonderful time here at the restaurant. Great food and so many choices. The staff is wonderful here, especially Pedro. He made sure my mom and aunt were attended to and comfortable in their seats. Had some fantastic dishes that took me back to Spain.

Utterly overrated. This is by far the mediocrity at its finest. Ordered a bunch of different dishes from beet salad, lamb chops, fries and a bunch of drinks. Food was badly presented, badly seasoned, cold and left a lot of food u eaten came home and ordered some food to be delivered. As a resident of this city, are much better offerings in the city at this price point, higher and lower. But this Bulla is probably an Instagram type of restaurant and for tourist but not for proper foodies inCDMX. Overall Blaaaa

I enjoyed my meal. The Spanish tortilla was delicious and the sangria was perfect (especially because it was such a hot and sunny day). It was very busy but the service was impeccable and fast. I didn’t like the calamari but everything else was fine. Maybe a little bit expensive.
