It's a beautiful spot to enjoy a breathtaking view over Lyon. I'll share my experience having drinks and tapas on the upper terrace with friends and not the Michelin-starred restaurant by Guy Lassausaie downstairs (which I’d love to experience someday).
The nibbles and refreshments were delightful, and we had a great time overall. But the service was unfortunately disappointing. As a former waiter myself, I know how tough a shift can be. Still, from a guest’s perspective, I felt like I was disturbing the staff just by placing an order or asking questions. At one point, I could even hear them complaining inside about other customers, which felt quite unprofessional and really took away from the otherwise pleasant experience.
