Bullitt Hotel | Best places to stay in Belfast

"With an arty, industrial-chic vibe, Bullitt is a budget hotel with style well beyond its rates. There’s an easygoing sense of cool throughout, from the sculptures outside to the graphic artwork hanging in every room. Downstairs, the open-plan lobby, bar and restaurant space draws in the locals looking to socialise over a cocktail or brunch. The resident DJ keeps things buzzing in the lobby and courtyard, too. There’s also Babel, the jazzy rooftop bar and garden, where you can escape the city with a glass of wine and a wood-fired pizza. Be sure to book a table, as it fills up quickly. You couldn’t ask for a more central location – a few steps from the entrance and you’re right in the heart of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter. A word of caution, though – the ‘dinky’ room categories are only suitable for one person; go for ‘roomy’ if you’re travelling as a pair or a couple. " - Nicola Brady

My wife and I stayed at Bullitt for 3 nights in October 2025. We loved this hotel! Great location in central Belfast. Good room and excellent restaurant. The very best thing was the staff. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. They could not have done more to assist us. If we ever go back to Belfast again, we would definitely stay at Bullitt.

The Bullitt Hotel proved to be a good choice in a central area of Belfast adjacent to SSE Arena (10 minutes walk) and Grand Central Station (15 minutes walk). It has a hipster (rather than holster) vibe and very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a little on the small side but spotlessly clean and having all essential features. It has its own bar and catering facilities both of which seemed bustling. It adjoins several lively pubs, restaurants, a jazz bar and a major shopping centre. Overall a great place to base oneself on a leisure trip to Belfast.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Belfast with plenty of bars and shops close by. Our room was lovey and spacious, the bathroom facilities were excellent. We loved the roof top bar. The Bullit is a lovely clean hotel and would definitely recommend

Perfect location for everything. We were there for a gig and it was a 4 minute walk away. All staff were friendly and had a professional demeanor whilst still having a good bit of banter/craic. If you're in Belfast to enjoy yourself then this is the place to start/finish. Rooms spotless and management is well on top of maintaining the place. Cross generational clientele. You don't need to dodge this bullitt 😉

Great hotel for a Belfast virgin but wouldn’t stay here again. We discovered other great areas and hotel locations during our trip but wouldn’t have a bad word said against the Bullit. If you stay at a weekend expect plenty of bass and drum to vibrate through your room which stopped at 2am ish. Super comfortable beds, beautiful walk in showers and ultra friendly staff. It was a pleasure to stay here for a first visit to Belfast but next time we’ll go for somewhere out of the main city mixer

This hotel is excellent from the beginning to the end of your stay. Lovely bars and 2 great restaurants serving excellent cuisine. It is a great location right in the heart of the City Centre and to top it all off the staff are fantastic. Very helpful, very efficient and very friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are going to Belfast.

We had a great stay at this hotel on the night of 6 September 2025. Perfect location and lovely rooms. A special mention for Leah who both checked us in and out. Such a lovely girl and a wonderful ambassador for the brand. See you next time we're in this amazing city!
