It's Restaurant Week again, so I went to Bullvinos with my two son-in-laws.
Pricing: This year (February 2023), the price for the complete meal, excluding 4 or 5 "special" meats is $40. That includes a wide variety of meats, the salad bar, hot sides, and a free dessert. Right now the regular price is $56 (but with the addirion of a few special meats, but without dessert). So $40 is a great price, and I recommend coming here during the twice yearly Restaurant Weeks.
Food: Excellent. The meats are outstanding, the salad bar is excellent, and the hot sides are great. And, of course, it's all you can eat. Everyone in my group was pleased by the quality and taste of the food.
Service and friendliness: Consistently excellent. Anyone will help and everyone was cheerful and helpful.
Pro-tip: You will be offered shots out of a bull by pulling on his testicles (thankfully the bull, not the waiter). This seems sexist and unnecessary, and the drinks are not free. There was another person offering you shrimp cocktail, as if this was included. It's not. Except for the meat, always ask if it's included. I would be pissed to find out when the bill came something was not included. I think this is deceptive and a black eye for an otherwise excellent restaurant.
Is it worth the price I paid ($40). Absolutely. Is it worth the regular price of $56, frankly, not to me. But given restaurant prices lately perhaps. At least they don't include a mandatory service charge, employee benefits charge, supply chain surcharge, employee retention charge, etc.
