PKL Social, Houston’s Newest Pickleball Sports Bar, Will Open This Fall - Eater Houston

"Though sports bars dedicated to pickleball are seemingly rare in Houston, PKL won’t be the first. The Bumpy Pickle Will Open in Second Ward With Nine Pickleball Courts - Eater Houston

"A quirky new sports bar is set to bring the game of pickleball to the Second Ward later this spring. The Bumpy Pickle, at 554 Lockwood Drive next to Eastwood Park, will have nine courts for the growing sport, plus five sand volleyball courts, and an indoor-outdoor bar area with almost two acres of space for social distancing. The bar is a project from Good Times LLC, who also opened Sports Creek in Eado in 2017, a bar that has soccer and volleyball courts and seasonal league play. Food-wise, the Bumpy Pickle will offer brunch, lunch and dinner, though exact details are scant. The bar will also serve craft beer and cocktails. The space will also eventually host concerts, private parties and corporate events." - Brittanie Shey

It was my first time here and came with a group of pickleball friends on a Friday night. We reserved one court for 2 hours. It would be nice if the courts didn’t have gaps/openings where the ball can go through. Also, it rained the day before so it’s a bit slippery on the court and sandy where the tables were. There other other amenities like volleyball courts, ping pong table, and other games. They have a QR code on the table so they know which table the orders were from. I tried the wings (buffalo and bbq) and nachos. They were delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I don’t mind coming back here.

Google
We had an amazing time yesterday playing pickleball and beach volleyball at this place! The attention from the staff was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Everything was super clean and so well-equipped — perfect for a fun family outing. The restaurant and bar service was excellent; the staff was incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. And the food is absolutely delicious! We had the hummus, pizza, wings, and the margaritas, all on another level. Can’t wait to go back!

It took me a few visits to really fall in love with Bumpy Pickle. I can honestly say it’s a great spot, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly court option on Wednesdays. Once you get the hang of the environment, it’s a solid place to play and enjoy the game without breaking the bank.

We hosted a charity pickleball tournament at Bumpy Pickle, and they were absolutely amazing! Mark and Nirvana were so helpful with the planning process. Nirvana helped advise on menu items to stick within our food budget. Everything ran so smoothly! We got so many compliments on how organized and well run the tournament went. It would not have been possible without their help. It was the perfect venue, and they were so helpful and accommodating! I can’t wait to be back! I absolutely love Bumpy!

Fun place to enjoy the outdoors, play some pickleball, and enjoy some amazing food and drinks! Had the espresso martini made with William price coffee liqueur and it was delicious! The crispy chicken sliders are the best item on the menu! The bartenders are super friendly and outgoing!

Came by with a group of friends and was able to get a last minute pickle ball court session! Everyone was super accommodating the bartenders were on top of service and drinks for everyone they were busy! Luis, Deja, and Daisy were awesome definitely coming back!

My family and I had the best time last night. The entire staff went above and beyond. The food was 5 stars! The vibe was on point! Pickle ballers were fun to watch too. Ask for Daisy she will take care of you! she sure did take care of us. Good Times!

Google
This place is the best—and Daisy is a big reason why. Best bartender around, always friendly and on point. The whole staff at bumpy pickle makes the experience amazing. Tentative and pay attention as much as possible to their customers!

Yelp
My friend had a birthday party here! Loved the covered outdoor seating so you can take a break from the heat/playing pickleball or volleyball. Food was honestly good. We had pizza, wings, fried pickles.. and all of it was good. They have tons of parking, so many pickleball courts and 4 volleyball courts. A great place to come chill, drink, eat and play pickleball. Not sure about pricing since it was already booked for us before we got there.. but definitely a place you can play every once in awhile.

Yelp
We were with a group of about 40 on a Thursday at 630pm, they open at 4pm. Our organizers selected a buffet of bbq chicken nuggets and plain nuggets, several meats to make tacos, salsa, elote, tortillas, guacamole; delicious, soft, warm pretzels, soaked in butter--YUMMM; everything was good. No complaints. I had a Saloon Door Tasty AF beer on draft, it was really good, similar to Guinness. They have lots to choose from on draft, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. Pickleball courts were really nice, they also have equipment you can use there. About 4 sand volleyball courts. They were great! Great exercise! Plenty of parking. You can sit inside or outside and drink and eat, watch the pickleball courts or TV. Very nice and welcoming staff, they were amazing, excellent service. Make reservations. They may be booked up. There was construction on the road, it was down to one lane.

Yelp
This place was so much fun! There were multiple court to play on. I loved the vibes this place gave off as well. I did not have any food here, but it looked good from what I could see. I felt that the menu was a bit limited on options, but again this place is mainly to play pickle ball! I definitely will be back here again!

Yelp
This place is pretty good. Food is yummy and well plated. Although we could have sat inside we were trading off eating and playing so needed to stay court side. Outdoor seating is in full sun which does impact the eating experience. Staff is helpful and available.

Yelp
The food is delicious favorite item is the chicken sliders! I had an espresso martini made with a local distillery's coffee liqueur and it was amazing! The service was fast and fun! Very fun energy and lots of chill spots to hang out if you don't like the out doors!

Yelp
Nice little pickle ball area with various activities to do! Courts were clean and shaded over the picnic table areas next to the courts. Saw a group of people having fun at the volleyball court, too. I do recommend coming in the evening as the sun is too hot during the day. They will light up the courts at night. Free water is available for refills! They serve food and drinks as well. You can formally park in the gas station nearby as the main parking might get filled up quickly.

Yelp
So fun! Came here with my book club and loved the vibe. The staff was so kind and the drinks were super tasty

Yelp
The Bumpy Pickle opened up about a year ago, and has been on our list of places to check out since my wife and I both play pickleball. We finally got a chance to come down thanks to a birthday party invite last weekend. It's a great concept! Parking: Small lot FYI. For the amount of pickleball, sand volleyball, and general bar crowd this place holds, their parking lot is tiny. If it's a busy day, you're more than likely going to have to find street parking nearby, or uber to save yourself the hassle. Indoor bar area: They have a spacious indoors area for those bad weather days, or for those who just want to grab a drink and watch the game. There's about 10 tables inside plus a large bar top area to post up and watch the tv's. Outdoor area: Pickleball is the main focus here, and there's plenty of courts available for reservation. Beyond pickleball, there's also sand volleyball, bean bags/cornhole, an outdoor ping pong table, a huge jumbotron tv, and a turfed area of picnic tables for those wanting to watch the action. Food/Drinks: They offer a full bar. Cocktails range in the $10-$14 range. There's about 20 beers on tap and prices range from $5 Lone Star to a $13 fancy microbrew ale. Plenty of canned beer $6-$7 options too. The food menu offers a little of everything. Appetizers, flatbreads, salads, sandwiches, tacos, and fajitas. If you're hungry, there's something that will work for you. Food prices range from $10 fried pickles on the low end to $24 fajitas at the tippy top. Service was great. We had a friendly server who started with us indoors while waiting on the party to arrive, and she then shifted to walking out to our court once we started playing. No issues. If you're looking for an active outing, with lots of options, The Bumpy Pickle is a solid choice.

Yelp
The drinks were really sweet. I tried two of their mixed drinks, one that featured banana liquor and the other one that some watermelon flavor to it. They were $12 each. The alcohol seemed to burn as it was going down my throat, not just because it was alcohol, but because it was so sickly sweet. I could barely enjoy the rest of the flavors. The food was good. I really liked the chicken sliders. The chicken was juicy, and it also came with micro greens and pickled onions!

Yelp
Great outdoor pickleball venue! Attended a few birthday parties here and had reserved courts during the visit. Ambiance- great vibes and space that offers pickleball, beach volleyball and ping pong. TV's are also available throughout - March madness was on while we were there. Pickleball courts- great well paved, well painted lines and good sturdy nets. Food- pricy as expected but good quality food every time we ordered something.

Yelp
Had a blast playing games. BUT the drinks...not sure if the bar was just having off day or what but even the non-alcoholic drinks were problematic. Will go back for the ambience and bar snacks. Won't order drinks until they get it together.

Yelp
My brother and friends have been going there lately. They said it's really nice and they like it. Maybe I'll try them next week.

Yelp
I play sand volleyball here weekly with a league and it's pretty nice. The only annoying thing is that they have five volleyball courts and a million pickleball courts but only one tiny parking lot. Every single time I've come here I've had to park across the street in kind of a sketchy area.

Yelp
I was skeptical because of all the bad reviews but this place turned out great! I definitely had a lot of trouble scheduling a court over the phone. The person helping me had a lot of communication issues, but we were able to get our court booked. I thought the food was going to be meh (again base on the reviews) but I enjoyed the food a lot. It's definitely not amazing, but your typical bar foods. Overall, I will be back. Everyone there was very nice, very respectful of your reservation time. And there are also sand volleyball courts, and an outdoor ping pong table as well.

Amanda L.

Yelp
Great courts. Great outdoor space. Cold water coolers. Great service. Cheap beers. Good food!

Yelp
Love this place! Played pickle ball and had the corn elote side. Staff were attentive friendly. Place is clean and pretty busy so come prepared or make a reservation. Also, take note that parking can be pretty tough.

Yelp
Nachos and OG Burger is pictured, food was very good and the customer service was spectacular. I enjoyed the venue, next time we will reserve a space , we ended up playing volleyball and it was pretty cool, I didn't play that long I was dressed more for pickleball, nevertheless I had fun. Nachos Nachos OG Burger

Yelp
I was hesitant to write this review because I like coming here for the volleyball/pickle ball. But had a pretty bad experience this time with the food. You can look at the photos and judge for yourself. 1. First off; the oil needed to be changed. When you fry food in old and dirty oil, it will come out soggy and not get fried properly which is why the fried pickles lost all its batter. 2. Nachos were terrible. The cheese looked old and the shredded pork was burnt and black. 3. Truffle fries were so soggy due to dirty old oil. 4. Look at the color of the batter on the wings. It's almost black. 5. Management needs to make sure the cooks are changing out the frying oil consistently Come for a good time. Not the food lol

Yelp
Booked two hour court time and they canceled my reservation!! They canceled it when we called and asked to add 1 person!!! They tried to offer us 30 minutes of free play. Someone needs to fix this dumbass system. What a waste of fucking time.

Yelp
Highly recommend Bumpy Pickle! We took our entire family (husband, wife, 3 kids aged 18, 15, and 11). Earlier in the day the weather was terrible, so Daniel, the Sports Director, sent me a text to ask if our reservation could be moved one hour later. Of course this was absolutely fine, and I really appreciated that he asked instead of just changing it. Thank you! Upon arriving the two employees at the front desk politely greeted us and pointed us in the right direction for eating before our court reservation. We met Daniel in person, who was super friendly and told us about upcoming summer events, so of course our daughters already told us we need to come back for those (sorry girls some of them are for us 21 and older crowd only lol). We had fried pickles (love that panko crust) and chips and queso. My favorite drink was the Tipsy Watermelon with a Tajin rim, and I loved it. The blueberry beer was delish, too. Other food we enjoyed: margherita flatbread (even my picky picky child enjoyed it), the chicken and avocado sandwich, Greek salad (very generous with veggies, feta, and vinaigrette). Next we went outside for to our reserved court and tore it up! As the embarrassing mom I am, I immediately introduced myself to another 5th wheel and began playing singles with her while my family played doubles. Then when I subbed in with my family, another fifth stepped up to practice with our youngest child at the court next to us and gave her lots of tips. We all absolutely loved our experience here and plan to come back as a family very soon. As for my husband and I, we have a court reserved for our date night later this week and are inviting some coworkers to join us, too. Can't wait to go back and share this awesome place with all our friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Daniel and everyone else who was there this evening!

Yelp
Pretty good for outdoor pickleball play but the fence around the property seems to be lower than other outdoor courts so be careful if you tend to hit too high. Plan strategically which court you reserve and don't book adjacent to the street for safety! I do really like that there's an actual metal fence barrier between each court and ample space around the lines because some courts just offer the minimum 5'-0" and it's not always enough or safe to run around for the ball. Food is decent and drink selections are good.

Jasmine P.

Yelp
Service is great & fast! My first experience here & I would definitely come back the food is also a plus!
google avatar

Yelp
The parking lot is incredibly small, but you can park across the street on the Major Rd. The place is new and it's still looks like they haven't finished building everything, so I don't know how it would look, but I don't think there are any restrooms. It's a so-so place and it meets your pickle ball and sand volleyball needs, but it doesn't really have much else to offer. It'll be a different story when they actually finish building everything.
google avatar

Hannah A.

Yelp
The inside is now complete! Cute bar area, but I mostly spent time outside. $40/court/hour, or $15/person for open play (unlimited time). Just call ahead for open play because their website isn't accurate, and bring a friend because we've had the open play court all to ourselves before! Parking is tight but I've always been able to find a spot.

Yelp
Followed the buzz of this fun sport brought to Houston's Eastwood Park area on Navigation Blvd. Sadly, the buzz quickly dissipated shortly after arriving to play this exciting sport phenom called pickle ball. My experience starts even before arriving to the pickleball court, with their online reservation system showing itself as NOT being user friendly. The website offers online reservation of their pickleball and sand volleyball courts, and has tabs (day, month, grid, list, and map). Since I couldn't figure out how to reserve, I had to call them, and the staff member suggested selecting "DAY," so I also recommend this as well, because it auto defaults to the map (which is super confusing). Then you select the date and time, and it will show you what courts are free/open to reserve for the day you want... Excited to see what all the buzz was about, I planned a double date with some friends I hadn't seen in awhile, and we were eager to get started. Service was disappointing to say the least. Staff was super unhelpful, uninterested, and when I asked a staff member at the bar to see if there was anyone to help explain to us about how to play the game, she initially volunteered, but as she was explaining, she stopped midway and said it would probably be better if we looked up a video on how to play the game instead...then there was another staff member who was supposed to show us to our reserved court, but also very unhelpful. For first-timers to the court and to the game, it would be nice to ask if this is our first time, do we need any help with explaining the game, etc. but nothing. He handed us our paddles and walked away. Finally, after ordering some drinks and standing around "looking lost," a manager approached us and explained to us that if we didn't bring our own paddles, there is a rental option (we didn't know we were supposed to bring our own paddles and ball either...) The actual court time was super fun! My friend suggested we reserve a court at 9PM to beat the heat, glad I listened. Pro's: -great workout (can become a fun competition if you wager something before playing) -dog-friendly (we are not fur parents, but for those that are) -A/C luxury porta-potty's Con's: -non-user friendly reservation system -customer service -need real restrooms -advertises on website that there is corn hole, darts, mini golf, and ping pong, but even after two months of opening it is still not setup yet. Limited parking space -unorganized system (no actual process for checking-in patrons, so be sure to have your email handy to remember which court you reserved) PSA: -limited parking spaces, they offer a valet parking option -BYO paddle(s) and pickleball -paddles are available for rent ($5/paddle) (I assume it will be the same for sand volleyball - BYO volleyball??)

Yelp
Feelin' outdoorsy and sporty? My friends and I were feeling active one Saturday morning so we reserved a court to play pickleball. If you've never played pickleball before (it was my first time!), it is similar to tennis and played on a doubles badminton size court. To reserve, it is $30/hour and balls and paddles are available to rent as well. If you are interested in sand volleyball, they also have it! In the future, there will be mini golf, ping pong, darts, and corn hole to play too. Sounds like more sweet, sweaty Saturdays for me! They are still in the process of building, so there is currently only an outdoor bar that sells seltzers and water. It looks like there will be a brunch, lunch, dinner available soon too. Yay and yummy!

Yelp
This place is awesome. I'll definitely come back. Great atmosphere. Allows dogs, it's overall a great place. Really nice staff and the place is very clean. They have pickle ball courts and open volleyball courts. They also have a big TV in the middle by the bar to show sporting events.

Isaiah T.

Yelp
Played in a sand volleyball league held her and the service is great, always have people walking around to take drink and food orders. And huge tvs

Yelp
We love this place! Not only is the atmosphere SO fun, literally everything we have ordered from the food menu has been amazing! Worth the drive from Conroe anytime!

Yelp
The establishment is finally complete and is under new management. Such a fun concept and great place to play pickleball and beach volleyball. Food was delicious!

Yelp
*Update* I spoke with one of the business investors and he assured me this is not what they want for their business. He made it right with me, so I appreciate it. I'll give them another shot and hopefully have an opportunity to play soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Took my coworkers here for a fun social event. No one on my team had played Pickleball before, but we rented a couple of courts, and two hours went by too quickly! We had a ton of fun, and it was easy enough for everyone to pick it up without experience. The food was also yummy, and we had plenty to go around. We had the fajitas and nachos, and some veggies. I believe these were made in the food truck that is there while the restaurant is built. Overall a great experience, can't wait to come back when the restaurant portion is open.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place and fun atmosphere! Wish it was closer to my area in SW Houston, but worth the drive!

Yelp
To preface, It doesn't seem they are quite fully open with their interior not being complete as you can see the work being down in the main indoor area. The bathrooms are decent but there was no soap and could not find anything to replace it. The main bar is outside under a tent like covering. Tables in this area has wait staff to serve and there is plenty of seating. At the time (Friday night), the pickleball courts can be fully reserved for $40/hr or you can choose the pick-up option for $10/hr to play pickup games with others (I'm not quite sure how this works). All the courts were in use when we arrived (7ish pm) and we could see more people sitting in the picnic tables nearby the courts. To my understanding there was one server, one person working the front to get people filling out waivers and pickleball court set ups, and about 2-3 people working at the outside bar. Regardless empty tables the place was busy with people playing and chatting around the courts. A side note, there are volleyball courts on the other side that were not in use. I'm not sure if they were closed or if there wasn't a volleyball crowd to use them. I'd like to come back when the indoor area is fully complete to give this another try as it is a good place to experience pickleball in a social setting.
google avatar

Van N.

Yelp
The courts are completed and super fun. But the indoor facilities are questionably not up to code. The bathroom vents were not covered, no soap, no trash cans, no door knobs. I see they are still building the indoor bar as well. The service was questionable. You can order from the bar and the table service was here and there, not all tables had a server. The drinks were okay, nothing to drive home about. This place has potential. We will definitely be back to see progress.
google avatar

Wendy C.

Yelp
Employees were friendly and kept everything running smoothly with reminders to those playing that the hour was almost up. No food yet, but they had beer. Courts are perfect. I just wish I started playing Pickleball before May as it's getting quite hot. Patrons were very well behaved. Great for all ages, families, etc.

Tom H.

Yelp
Edit: I've now had back to back experiences where I've reserved a court and show up only to be told they have someone else in their system with the court. Even after showing my confirmation email and credit card charge I was met with segueing rather than conceding there was a mistake and trying to find a solution. Do yourself a favor and use the link below to find other locations in the Houston area: https://www.places2play.org

Yelp
I've been coming here since it first opened trying to give it many chances because the facility is nice and the sand volleyball courts are new. But seriously... seems like management gets worse and worse and all they care about is to make as much money as possible regardless if the customer is happy or not. If you rent a VB court, they continuously hassle you to buy drinks then when they interrupt you multiple times and use up your reservation time, they are quick to ask for you to pay for another reservation. If you leave us alone, maybe we can utilize the court time instead of telling you "no we are fine" every 5 minutes interrupting our games! Then for open play, you pay $10 and ONLY can play on one court. EVEN if no one is on the other courts. Does this make sense?! Play on ONE COURT, with random people who also pay $10 for open play on ONE COURT. I get if other courts are reserved but there are other courts empty and you are forced to play on ONE COURT with 10 people. ZERO SENSE. Then parking here sucks, they pretty much want you to valet, why? SO THEY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY. Drinks are expensive. I ordered a bottled water and a beer (Saint Arnold's to be exact) and it came out to $17 plus tip. Who would want to pay for expensive drinks like that when management is horrible and all they do is hound you to buy more and more. Then if you don't, they treat you like you are just taking up space and want you gone. Is it sad because I had high hopes for this place. I tried very hard MULTIPLE times to like it. But seriously, they suck. If you treated people better and were more welcoming, and not act like if you step into this place, you better spend $100 for us to be nice to you, maybe people would want to come more often. You should rethink your business model and customer service because it sucks.

Yelp
So glad Houston has a sports bar with pickleball courts and pickleball paddle rentals for anyone whos looking to try the sport out. They also have sand volleyball courts, ping pong, corn hole, lots of table seating, and a few water stations. If you work up an appetite, they had a food truck in their parking lot when i went Sunday night. I got the barbacoa taco and it was honestly one of the best tacos ive ever had. Will definitely be back to introduce more people to pickleball and if the taco food truck is there ill no doubt be ordering more barbacoa tacos.

Yelp
This is my second time here. This review is consistent across both visits, unfortunately. I just wanted to give them a second chance to get it right in case it was just a bad day, but still very disappointed. The place has so much potential. Don't order cocktail drinks here. They measure the liquor, instead of doing the typical bartender 6 count loose pour like most popular bars with sports fields. To add insult to injury, they don't fill the jigger to the top before pouring it in your cup. It's an over priced weak cocktail. So sad. I dk if it's because they have inexperienced bartenders here or if it's what management actually wants them to be doing, but the bartenders make a very weak drink! Booooo. The pizza is okay - not bad, not fantastic, but tasty enough if you're hungry after playing volleyball or pickle ball! Sports fields are nice and highly trafficked. If you just come to play pickle ball or volleyball, and don't drink cocktails, the place could be 4 stars. Restrooms are in a trailer in the parking lot. Very clean and nice facilities. I believe making weak drinks really hinders their success. Too bad. So much potential if they weren't being excessively cheap at the bar!

Yelp
Pickleball .. not so friendly in Houston. I played racquet sports all over the world ... squash, tennis, table tennis, golf and it has always been a great way to socialize with friends and clients ... We went to visit the Bumpy Pickle club at 4p today.. published open hours are posted 7a-11p ...we wanted to see the club and join. Apparently a rain cloud just passed over the club and Dan (the manager who we were told to see) decided to close the club for an hour ... although he was on the premises, and somebody with access was kind enough to ask, he refused to see us. It took us an hour to get there and he didn't have the courtesy to say hello!
google avatar

Tasfia A.

Yelp
I like this place for pickleball; the game is so fun and there are so many courts! I'm giving it 4 stars because the pickleball facilities are 5 stars and the service is 3 stars.... I'll need to write a new review once this place is fully open; they don't yet have a real kitchen or bathrooms (just a small trailer for the kitchen and trailer for bathrooms). The service was quite slow since everyone there seemed pretty new. Parking situation: on-site

I can't say too much about the drinks/food here since I didn't order any when I went, but I really liked the pickleball aspect of the place! The courts are clean and well-maintained, and there are nice picnic tables to watch matches and hang out with friends after playing.

Yelp
Awesome concept that brings people together! Super friendly staff, pristine establishment, fun vibe! This was our first time in and Michelle, Daniel, and Alexea were super helpful and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
It's hard to separate out the different aspects of this establishment. Very similar to the other reviews, I feel that the pickle ball courts are very nice and I enjoyed my time. To be transparent, I did not make the reservation so I am not sure how the process is but it seems relatively straightforward. The rate was $40/hr, and I believe that is just to reserve the court (doesn't matter how many guests on your reservation). They do have a bar, sand volleyball, cornhole, large connect 4 and a ping pong table. Unsure if you have to reserve for the other amenities, but I didn't see any equipment there. Also, note that the $40 pickle ball reservation does not include ball&rackets. That would be an additional cost, but our friends brought their own. Although on the pricy side, I definitely enjoyed my time there. The main issue I have with Bumpy Pickle and can see the potential for is the state of the rest of the facilities. Based on reviews, they have been open well over 6 months. However, the kitchen is not set up and the bathrooms were not well attended to. They have decorations of frames from IKEA in the bathroom but no photos in it? Also just scattered trash on the ground as if they hadn't had a check off for cleaning all morning. It makes it seem like this is their soft opening or they rushed to open before being prepared. Their indoor bar/dining area (?) is not yet open to the public and it seems like they still have several months until it does. I think that would be valuable in the summer as temperatures rise for some a/c and cold reprieve. During this time, they have a food truck all the way in the back of the parking lot and the workers of BP bring your food out once it's ready. It seems like (at least on the day we were there) the food truck had some personal problems causing a long delay but I'm not sure if it's always like that. For us, we had over an hour wait but I was informed when ordering that they were really backed up. Perhaps once their amenities are in full force it would be worth the $40/hr rate, but right now it makes it hard to justify the cost. I see the potential but management needs to get on top of it. Also, in case you are wondering we went on a Saturday around 2 pm and they were in full operation. The hours posted say they open at 3pm they were definitely open prior.

Yelp
On a separate visit - they do not allow outside drinks, not even water. They make you pour everything out or throw it away. Even when you have reservations. Made a 2 hour reservation to play before their closing hours (which still costs $40/hr). Less than 30 mins later, found out it was going to rain at that time, which was my fault, cause I should've checked the weather before making the reservation. I called them to cancel it and they told us they don't do refunds and only allow us to reschedule to another day/time. This would be our 4th time coming here with a large group (10+ people), but because of this scammy policy and horrible business practice, we are never coming back. Don't waste your time or money here. $80 out the window. Don't let it happen to you! Currently booking our next reservation at PALA Pickleball. I noticed PALA's online booking system doesn't even allow you to reserve their outdoor courts during the times it's going to be raining today. The indoor ones are still available during the rain though! Highly recommend PALA!

Yelp
This place blows. I just booked a reservation tonight but then realized that chances of rain is going to be 71% and so I called them immediately to cancel and then they told me that they don't do cancellations. It doesn't feel nice being shafted with $80 going down the drain. This is going to be the last time I'm booking with them. Also don't buy their drinks, they're extremely weak.

Yelp
Courts are nice but no food available when we went. No indoor areas and port a potty bathrooms. Check in is a folding table and staff not helpful. We are new to pickle ball but no one to even tell you the rules. Suggestion is to maybe type up a one page handout for newbies. We just looked on our phones. Also, dump next door is super loud.
