Bun Boy Calicut

Had breakfast at Bun Boy, Balan K Nair Road, Calicut, and it was a pleasant experience overall. We ordered Butter Bun, Korean Bun, Cheese Bun, and Malai Bombaloni, along with tea and coffee. The Malai Bombaloni was outstanding — soft, rich, and easily the highlight of the visit. The tea also stood out, perfectly brewed and very satisfying. The buns were fresh and enjoyable. The ambience is small, and parking space is limited, which can be a bit inconvenient. That said, the place has a nice charm and is good for a quick breakfast stop. Overall, a good experience and worth a visit if you’re around the area.

Buns are great and worth the price, but I had to wait half an hour just to get a tea. The service is very bad; they aren’t even looking at customers or taking orders properly. The staff definitely needs more training, and they should hire enough people to handle the crowd. Food prices are affordable. If you’re looking for good snacks, you might have a different experience, but if you’re more into healthy options, don’t even think about visiting here.

Visited Bunboy, a neat and compact place. Tried katak tea, coffee with almond butter bun, and Nutella berliner. The almond butter bun with coffee was the highlight. Berliner was decent but too sweet for morning. Katak tea was okay. Overall, a good quick pit stop for buns.
