Bun Boy is legitimate my current favorite food truck in Austin. I know it can look suspicious when you see a restaurant with all 5 starts but I promise, this is legit. It's the mix of passion, talent, and consistency from Chef Donald who prepares and cooks some of the best food I've had. He's worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in NYC and it's evident once you try his food. You'll eat these dishes and not believe they came from a food truck! Not to mention, he makes his own bao buns each morning, which is wildly impressive. some of the incredible dishes he's made me: 〰 oysters & pearls (yes, like the one from French Laundry) - insanely good 〰 cubano bao - SO tasty and just like a cuban sandwich but on a bao bun 〰 pancetta arancini 〰 pork belly bao 〰 lobster bao 〰 chicken fried steak bao - a great mix of comfort and Asian 〰 watermelon salad - such a refreshing bowl during the heat of the summer 〰 tuna tartare 〰 duck l'orange egg rolls 〰 lucky charms creme brûlée He was originally at Oskar Blues Brewing but they randomly closed near the end of 2023 so now he's opening over at Wanderlust downtown. Don't miss out on his talent and delicious food!

The pork belly bao is quite delicious and very reasonable prices. This is the second time I been there and it was just as awesome as before.

Absolutely fabulous! We tried today for the first time while visiting Oskar Blues and had to order extra food to take home! The pork belly Bao and watermelon jicama salad were the perfect combination of fresh, light, deliciousness. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent little bao! Nice thick cut of pork belly with some great fresh crunchy elements and a unique aioli-like hot sauce to add some heat and another dimension of flavor. Gonna try the arancini next time, it looked amazing!

Great idea and execution! We got one of everything of the menu and were delighted with everything. The food was a bit on the saltier side, but that's all good to me. Recommended for anyone that loves a good bao (but all the sides slapped too).

Visited Austin and fell upon this AMAZING food truck at Oscar Blues. Had the shrimp, pork belly and chicken and waffles bun along with the Arancini. Everything was delicious and Next Level. Highly recommend!
