Tip: go early and hang out at the bar and wait for your table. They do not take reservations! We tried calling and calling, and then we just decided to walk there, and when we arrived, they had somebody standing out front seating parties, and they said they do not take reservations! We have been a couple of times. Once in the evening, once in the middle of the day. Both times were excellent. The food is good and moderately inexpensive for this area, being right on the beach. The cocktails are good but a little bit pricey compared to some of their neighbors. But the atmosphere…aahh, the atmosphere. The DJ was really cooking great music when we were there for lunch, and it provided a perfect backdrop to our meal. In the evening, it is perfectly lit. During the day there’s lots of spots for shade. It’s a very laid-back beachy vibe. And again, the food is very good. My husband loved his Cuban. Was it the best Cuban he’d ever had? No, but it was a solid Cuban. My tacos were solid as well! And you can’t beat the atmosphere!

The food here is quite good! I'd highly recommend starting with the tuna tartare and ceviche--both feature incredibly fresh seafood. The Maine lobster roll was excellent, and the skirt steak was juicy and perfectly complemented by the chimichurri. Overall, a fantastic meal!

Food was great, but the atmosphere and space are even better! I would recommend checking it out even for a quick beach snack and drinks.

The only reason I give the service a 4 is that our server was not informed we were at her table and it took awhile for her to greet us, but she was amazing and the food was fantastic! We had fish tacos and a blackened fish sandwich. Also loved the Mezcal drink special! The tables are around a tiki bar, and adjacent to the boardwalk.

I recently dined at Bungalow Restaurant and had an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the inviting atmosphere and stylish decor. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Angus Beef Cheeseburger. The beef was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, topped with melted cheese that added just the right amount of richness. The quality of the ingredients truly stood out, making every bite delightful. The service at Bungalow was fantastic. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that everything was to my liking. They provided excellent recommendations and made me feel welcomed throughout my meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The combination of great food, superb service, and a comfortable setting made my visit truly memorable. If you’re looking for a place that offers high-quality food and exceptional service, Bungalow Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu offerings. The food is excellent 👌, the ambiance and atmosphere are great! But the service is NOT Great! 1st, we found the napkin dirty with stain, then we asked for a change. After that, we ordered a bottle of wine, the server brought dirty glass with it, u could see the dried orange pulp in the glass. Lack of attention to detail. 20% service charge is automatically there, they should have paid attention to detail for the service if they charge 20% of service charge, at least the basic one.

We had a light dinner salad and the Mahi sandwich. All was good. Our service was great.

Always a relax enviroment and good music place. Servers are super nice and the bar guys too. Ordered Piña Coladas, so good and beautiful. For lunch the fish tacos were amazing. They have an “in the sand” tables too to enjoy the beach experience. Near from the beach you can come, eat and go back to the water. Nice Place.

I love this place for so many reasons. The cheese burger is out of this world, with its red onion jam and secret sauce and the tuna poke bowl is the best in town. We love sitting at the bar and interacting with the staff who are always super friendly and attentive. But the biggest reason we keep coming back is the way Bruno makes us feel like we are part of the family and always remembers our name. Like the series "Cheers" ... a place where you feel comfortable that's full of friendly faces, that's always ready to welcome you! Bruno makes us feel that way. We will continuo coming back. Highly recommend this place!

Delicious food, fast service, and right on the beach. Their warm lobster roll was delicious! The food came out fast, and our waitress was attentive and checked up on us frequently. Highly recommend for a great lunch spot with a view.

The service was really great here! I got a pina colada and the server told me for a few dollars more I can get the large. The larger was def larger, wow! We also ordered a cheeseburger and truffle fries and they were delicious! The burger was juicy and cooked medium just like we asked. This bar definitely had Miami prices but I will say the food, drink, views and service were definitely great!

Traveling from Chicago !! Our very first spot! Bungalow by the sea is a hit!! Vanessa was our server! She was top tier !! Food was great! And the atmosphere was DOPE! Will be our regular spot till we leave!

Pretty good food tbh I'd give it 3.5 stars. We had the shrimp tacos & coconut shrimp for lunch. the shrimp tacos were good but a tad salty & the coconut shrimp was decent although I wish they gave a sweet chili sauce. Traditionally, coconut shrimp has a sweet sauce not spicy mayo or whatever they served with it. To me, it threw off the flavors of it. But it was still not bad. I later got a burger which was probably the best thing I ordered although I did not take a picture. The pina colada is also very creamy! I loved.

Amazing outdoor lounging area next to the pool and beach. Chill vibes with 2010s indie remixes, good new Latin food, good service (when they're not swamped on weekends). Food is pricey and has built-in 20%, but that's par for the course for Miami Beach. This was my office for the week and I loved it!

Probably better to come for just drinks and not food. The atmosphere is great because it's right on the beach (with the pool on the other side), but the food is horrible. I ordered the chicken sandwich and they brought me a fish sandwich. Didn't even get an apology. When they finally brought the correct sandwich, it was barely edible. Tasted like the chicken patty was frozen and just heated up. Fries were cold.

We stayed at the Cadillac the last three days of our vacation. Bungalow by the sea, is the casual pool/beach bar and restaurant. During our stay we ate there twice. Great see is and atmosphere. We had the shrimp tacos, which came with a nice portion of fresh guacamole and salsa, and the grouper sandwich. Both items were very good. Service was fast and friendly.

Great service and very accommodating for 10 of us. Loved the grouper sandwich and came back for the Cuban my husband had so good!

We had a wonderful experience at the Bungalow. Bruno the manager came up and checked on us to make sure our meal was great! Our server was very nice and gave off great vibes! The food was so good! I would highly recommend this spot! My wife and I split the lobster pizza, guac and chips, and the fish tacos! Everything was so good! The Lobster pizza really surprised me, I didn't think it was going to be as good as it was! The guac was so fresh it was perfect! The fish tacos just really hit the spot! The only thing I'd change is the fries, all you have to do is substitute the fries for another side. Overall great beach bar with great service and top notch food! We'll definitely be back!

Our server did her best she could but with a short staffed and inefficient management, the service was super slow and food was not good. What a shame.

Well expected a nice lunch. hubby ordered chicken sandwich with fries. Was brought chicken sandwich and salad, when inquired, told ran out of fries at 1600. Never told this before receiving food. Offered chips and guacamole, received chips, no guac. Manager did come over to apologize and a free strawberry lemonade. Butttt then a waiter walks by with 2 bowls of fries, then our waiter, Lee says they just got some fries, would you like some? For real, Sorry. Won't be back here. Very disappointed. The sandwich and salad were good.

It is not very good. I've been twice in 3 days. The service is way too slow. Takes 15 minutes for them to talk to you. Half the menu doesn't come with sides. I had to leave as it was so bad I felt embarrassed for them.

Loved loved loved LOVED this place! We wanted a nice pool day and decided to come here for lunch and to then hang out by the pool. If you are looking for an upscale pool day, then this is your place. Right on the beach. Two pools - one jacuzzi. And such a cool tiki bar/restaurant. Drinks were ok. The wine/Prosecco is very well priced so we mostly ordered that - or two bottles hehe. The food was really good. We had the margarita pizza and it was amazing. You can tell that it was homemade there - like seriously they make the dough and everything. Totally worth it. We also got the king crab which we thought was extremely well priced - 20 bucks!! Overall - loved!!! I am 100 percent coming back here!!!

This place has been hit and miss. Friday night it was a hit! B Fabricio was our server and was attentive, friendly and helpful. We have been here several times-sometime we have poor service and they are out of everything on the menu- tonight we had great service. We ordered the guacamole with chips and we shared a pizza. My husband started drinking an IPA but it was warm and moved on to a Chameleon- I had the margarita which was a bit watered down and funny that they put salt around a plastic cup rim. You get a glimpse of the ocean from the tables and there is nice music playing.

The bartender Wesley took excellent care of me. I ordered off of the happy hour menu and the food was excellent. The oysters were delicious and fresh. $6 rose and $2 oysters are a great deal + awesome view of the beach.

Bungalow by the sea is a great place for a drink and some appetizers. The location and atmosphere are the best things about the place. The restaurant sits in the back of the Cadillac Hotel, a Marriott Signature property, between the pool and the beach. The food is average, but the drinks were cold. The service was on the slower side on my visit, the bartender seemed back up... but it was friendly. The vibe was chill, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

I've tried a few different pool restaurants at different hotels in Miami Beach, and Bungalow is one of the good ones! We ordered the fried calamari and the asian salad with (sub) grilled chicken instead of fried. Both meals were tasty, and fresh- we would order again. The drinks were tasty and strong, pricey but that aligns with other hotels in the area. Our server was also fantastic at offering suggestions and going above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience (all while running around in the 100 degree August Miami heat).

I was in Miami for a conference this week and decided to rent a convertible and adventure out for some lunch on the beach. Bungalow by the Sea is a secluded beach amid hatch topped cabanas situated right in front of the Cadillac Hotel on Miami Beach. I went for brunch around 2:00, was seated quickly. There was a DJ playing some really fabulous music. I ordered a pina colada that came served in a pineapple decorated with umbrellas and pineapple chunks. Was very tasty. For lunch I ordered the brisket which was served with potato salad and elote. The brisket had a great flavor and the barbecue sauce was tangy. The elote was spicy and delicious. Potato salad had a nice counterbalance to the spice of the elote, garnished with spicy pickles. The environment was laid back and chill and I really enjoyed my time there. I walked through the Cadillac hotel, the bar and lobby are high-end, chic and classic. I highly recommend checking out bungalow by the sea when you are in Miami Beach!

We stayed at the Cadillac Hotel, and having two restaurants to choose from was nice. However, we ended up here two lunches in a row. Service speed was average, our waitress both days was so kind. A great experience. I HIGHLY recommend the lobster rolls, so delicious. (So much so that this is what I got both times we ate here) my husband didn't like the pizza, so he got the lobster rolls day 2 as well!

Ordered food and drinks from Bungalow By The Sea on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Perfect for hotel guests, but not a spot I would visit otherwise. Quality: During my weekend stay at the hotel I ordered drinks numerous times and food once from Bungalow By The Sea. My drinks varied in quality from a terrible iced coffee, an excellent Bloody Mary, and a below average Frozen Pina Colada. This would not be a bar I visited if I was not staying at the hotel, but it is serviceable for drinks around the pool. I also ordered a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was about as good as you can hope for in pool food. The fries were excellent and the slaw on the sandwich really helped it. Quantity: Weak drinks, but a good sized plate of food. Value: $16-$19 for Cocktails. $19 for the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Ambiance: Bungalow By The Sea is a small bar and restaurant located behind the Cadillac Hotel in Miami Beach. They have a bar area under a thatched roof as well as some surrounding tables under the shade of trees and umbrellas. They also offer service to the chairs laid out around the pool and out to the beach area. Service: Ordered from the pool and the service was fantastic. Parking: Hotel valet or limited street parking.

Lobster tempurah for tha win!! Ok it is a starter but with the delicioso yucca fries .....come on it's a meal!!! So so so good. Watermelon mule... yes please! My cohort had the grouper sandwich. He loved it Sat next to Mr Wonderful.... guesss this place is great

Attached to the Cadillac hotel, nice outdoor restaurant. Food isn't anything special but it tasted good and came quickly with very nice wait staff and a beautiful location. We had the blackened fish burger, guac and chips and the homemade popsicles. They didn't have oysters which was disappointing and the guac was definitely not fresh or home made and came with salsa on top which was weird, but we enjoyed our meal.

Really loved the adorable spot steps away from the beach! The service was a little slow, but the yummy frozen drinks and delicious food made up for it! The prices are a little high - but I LOVED the Jerk Chicken Caesar Wrap, so i'd go back! Also good to note: they charge a 20% service fee

This was my favorite beachside bar in Miami. Servers (especially Patrick) were incredibly welcoming and friendly! Had a blast hanging out here. Views are top notch as well

Patrick,Simon,Wesley all went way above and beyond for me and my wife. This really is a top notch establishment. I was telling my wife that they treat you better here than they do at the Fontaine bleau. But at a fraction of the price.

I was hunting for lunch and had literally walked 2 miles from my AirBnB before I found a place that actually had a view of the water and was open to the public. That was how I came to find Bungalow. I nabbed a spot at the bar. Lots of seating options and the vibe was loose and happy. After a few minutes wait, the bartender handed me a menu. When I ordered an ice tea, I detected a moment of disappointment on his part -- "darn, he's probably thinking...she's not going to be a big tab with lotsa cocktails." But, hey, it was lunch and I didn't feel like drinking. Doesn't make me a bad person. After consulting the menu -- and a fellow diner who apparently was a regular at Bungalow -- I decided to order the Jerk Chicken Caesar Wrap...with fries. The meal arrived faster than I expected. The fries were fresh and crispy...as it turned out, by far the best part of the meal. The wrap...eh, not a fan. It arrived looking very appetizing, in a green tortilla, plenty of chicken and veg. But, frankly, if you had told me it was something other than chicken, like, say tuna, I could have believed it. Way to "pre-chewed" in texture and had virtually no flavor. While I questioned what hummus was doing in the wrap when I ordered it, I really didn't like it in the wrap when it arrived. It just made the lack of texture in the sandwich even worse. Originally I had planned to eat half the wrap and take the rest back with me for later. No thanks... The service was disappointing. The bar was not overly busy that I could see and there were two bartenders working it. I had to ask for an ice tea refill twice, and for a lid three times because I wanted to take it to-go. I also worked very hard to close out my tab, but, I guess since I was just an ice-tea drinker and not a boozer, my priority dropped. The two men at the end of the bar, who had three actual drinks in the time it took me to finish my iced tea got great attention. I'd like to think it was just a coincidence, but, it didn't look like it. Bottom line: 4+ stars on the location, 3 on the food, 3 on the service.

As me and my family attend Bungalow By the Sea for the second time now i am ashamed to say this place isn't very good. I've been twice in 4 days, and the service wasn't great, staff were slow and rude to customers. In my personal experience i have never encountered a rude server like this. I was asking for a refill of my water my waiter deiced to roll her eyes and say no. And took 20 minutes to receive my refill. Also, half the menu doesn't come with sides. I had to leave as it was so bad and i felt embarrassed for myself. This place is unprofessional and needs to be looked at to save this place. Would not recommend.

Walked in through the hotel for a beachside dinner. Staff was very sweet and it was nice outside. You can't really see the beach, but you are quite close. Calamari and Guacamole were fine. Saw good reviews for the Lobster Roll, but quite honestly, it was not good. I would not recommend this place for the food, but maybe drinks and appetizers by the beach.

Best bar on the beach! Fun staff!!! Best drinks and food. I love this place!!! Take a stroll a long the beach and stop in and have a cocktail and have a great time with the staff and enjoy the scenery! You'll love it!

So after looking at the food and reviews I figured I'd give this place a try.. not far from where I was staying in middle beach and menu looked good. I love being at the beach sitting outside so the set up at the Cadillac hotel was nice. I ordered shrimp cocktail at first for $19.99 and came with 5 large shrimp.. we got the shrimp tacos which came with a deep fried tortilla, a dab of pineapple salsa, cilantro, and a huge dollop of guacamole. The shrimp was small but the whole thing lacked flavor. Couldn't taste the shrimp or pineapple salsa due to the gauc. I got the skirt steak and fries I love fajita steak and it came with Chimichurri sauce but came out with diced cilantro and onion.. again not much flavor and the meal was $36 Our meal was $100 due to the taxes and gratuity I don't mind paying the price for a great meal but this meal was worth $50 even in tourist towns

Crispy chicken sandwich and grouper sandwich tasted ok only because they were very over sauced and fries tasted a week old. Disappointed as we are guest of the hotel where this is located.

Nice outdoor setting. Too bad the food didn't match the atmosphere. Disappointing for a Marriott Autograph Hotel. The fries served with the grouper sandwich were cold. The grouper was luke warm and very small. The linguine fra daviola was served with small shrimp, where as most places in the area have nice large shrimp. Also the Parmesan cheese was not freshly grated which is a standard for this class of a restaurant. The sauce was very heavy, but a decent flavor. The positive was that the service was very good and it is a nice atmosphere.

There are many notable combinations of food and setting that make memories jointly and the memory makes it rather difficult to set them apart. Afternoon tea delicacies covered in gold at the top of Burj Khalifa, fried fish roadside in a tropical fishing village in Puerto Rico or eating lunch at Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. Interestingly, inside of this storied hotel in Miami and Bungalow By The Sea, there appeared another highly memorable combination. Relaxing by the swimming pool on a sunny Miami afternoon and enjoying some spectacular lobster rolls. As the main poolside and bar option for food inside the Cadillac. bungalow delivers. Wonderfully fried crispy calamari, brioche lobster rolls that get a very good proportion of lobster to bread, fresh salad with crab. The alcohol options are very reasonably priced and spread out also, with some decent wines and Moët for $95, which cuts in at about a fair double of retail value. Service is generally good and waiters are pleasant. There is also a cozy area with tables and a bar. The drinks at the bar are not the highlight and some of the service there is a bit lackluster (one one occasion, 5 employees by the bar and nobody paying attention to the guest). Despite that, for a poolside dining option, Bungalow is an excellent spot. And absolutely, lobster rolls are a must.

Best bartenders ever! Simon and Wesley were the best! They made my mothers and I's stay down the street. We came back twice and both times amazing!! Really really lovely guys and so funny!! We had a blast! Bartender myself living in Nyc and my mom came for my bday from Ireland and was fantastic. Next time we're definitely staying in the hotel!! Thank you!!

I'm between 3 and 4 stars; 3 for service, 4 for food. I'd seen a 'happy hour' menu on Yelp a month ago and it added to decision to go here. My son also really wanted a coconut to drink from and it was the couple places with them. We arrived on a Wednesday and found a table on the elevated dining plaza. It took a second to be greeted by the nice server, who said she'd be bringing waters, but then she disappeared for awhile. I understand things arise but this continued to be the trend for the rest of the meal and I commonly saw the other server. I asked if there was a happy hour menu and was told they don't have it on the weekend. It was clarified that it was Wednesday and was told they don't have one. We ordered the mini lobster rolls, jerk chicken wrap and pepperoni pizza for the kids to share. The rolls and wrap came out shortly. I LOVED the lobster rolls; better than I get in the upper East. The wrap had good flavor but was slightly dry. We'd finished these items before the server checked back, we inquired about the pizza at this time and was told it typically takes longer. The pizza showed a short time later and was hit with a nice wood-fire crust. The 3 entrees, an appetizer, a can of beer and 3 coconut drinks (1 w/ alcohol, 2 w/o) were ~$160 before tip.
