This was quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. And the curry fries were out of this world; the seasoning on them is just amazingggg. And the two sauces? Christ on the cross; outstanding. The ranch is perfect and the other one is the perfect amount of spice and a gorgeous spice combination…. I was so surprised by how amazing the food was because the place is very unassuming and kind of visually empty. I think if the place was “camped up” a little more “tacky” (for lack of a better term) and over the top like the rest of the little Tok restaurants there would be a line down the block. The food is beyond amazing and a culinary vision. It’s special and unique and accessible.

Came here after a flight to LA and let me say this is a unique place. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Let get to the food ! The FOOD was very good and one of a kind. The burger patty aside from being juicy and full of flavor was in a flatbread which gave it a different texture than an original bun. The fries were also top notch, really crispy (we got Garlic Parmesan flavor). Also recommend their house sauces! When I comeback to LA I will definitely stop in again and try more of the menu 😭 PS: they have two arcade games (mortal kombat and Pac-Man) so you can play while waiting for your order 😂

Taste :4.6/5 Environment: 4.2/5 Service:4.1/5 ( self service ) If you’re bored of the usual burger routine, Bungraze in Little Tokyo is here to shake things up. They ditch the classic bun and serve their burgers on handmade flatbread, blending flavors from Japan, Mexico, America, and India. It’s a creative twist that totally resets your expectations of what a burger can be. ✨ What I recommend: • Carnitas Burger – Chargrilled 100% grass-fed beef with tender carnitas. Honestly, it tastes even better on flatbread than in a taco. Juicy, savory, and totally satisfying. • BBQ Burger – Two thick grass-fed patties, grilled American-style. This one’s for the serious meat lovers. 🍟 Don’t skip the Truffle Curry Fries. Lightly seasoned with Indian-style curry and a hint of truffle oil, they’re crispy and super addictive. One bite turns into ten. 💸 Best part? You can enjoy this flavor adventure for under $20. Fun, bold, and flavorful – Bungraze is the burger remix you didn’t know you needed. Perfect for a casual bite in the heart of Little Tokyo.

Tried this spot for the first time and was blown away. Both the burger and the carnitas sandwich were absolutely outstanding—packed with bold, delicious flavor. What really sets them apart is the fresh-baked flatbread bun, made to order. It’s soft, warm, and has a unique flavor that takes everything up a notch—seriously, it’s to die for. The prices are very reasonable given the quality, and the service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and fast. This place is bursting with flavor and personality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something memorable without breaking the bank.

I have had many burgers of different qualities, some good, some bad and even some amazing . But very rarely you get a taste of a burger that hits all spots of flavor, size an price. It was my first time going and it surely wont be my last. This spot has became one of my all time favs . The meat is perfectly seasoned. The portions are great and the fries paired with the amazing sauces compliment the dish .on top the customer service was beyond amazing as well. It felt very comforting and welcoming to come ans dine in. Over all this experience was amazing , my only regret was I didn't have room for more. If you love great tasting burgers and fries this is a spot I highly recommend .

We visited Little Tokyo and BunGraze and were blown away! Had a super delicious and unique BBQ Burger with tallow fries. Sarita went above and beyond to be inviting and friendly in addition to explaining that everything is made in-house. Fantastic place and we will recommend it!

Delicious!!! Will be back for sure. Unique Indian flavors. The fries are so flavorful and have crispy curry leaves in them. The burger was yummy and I loved the savory flatbread style. The sauces are zesty and fresh. Kind service. Good quality food for fair price.

Google
Best Burgers in LA. It doesn’t get any fresher than this family run joint. Grass fed beef, homemade bread / sauces, cage free eggs, curry leaves, tallow fried. Does it get any healthier? This the best around. Sarita (Mother) Neil (Son/Owner) are the kindest people I ever met at a burger restaurant. Great service, food, highly recommend stopping in asap! I will be dreaming of my return

Yelp
It was pretty good but I had it when I got back home which was just about 30 minutes the bread got a little stale. While the style of flat bread instead of hamburger buns is interesting, the burger at least for me got dry really quick. The flavor was there and really good maybe if I have it there when it's freshly made I'll have a different review. The staff were great and welcoming, ordering something new felt more comfortable.

Yelp
I must say. I am not a burger person at all. I actually dislike In N Out very much (sorry, don't hate). My aunt wanted something simple so I obliged and found this place. At first I was hesitant because there was no one inside as it was an odd hour on a Thursday afternoon/evening. The woman working the front was very warm and welcoming. She didn't need to butter me up with the food because as soon as I saw beef tallow I knew it had to be somewhat good. We both got the smash burger combo. I got regular fries and my aunt got the garlic parmesan fries. Wow, is all I can really say. You just have to try it for yourself. I vastly prefer the plain fries to the seasoned fries. The burger was amazing. Everything was portioned perfectly. Definitely would go back. Only thing going against this place is parking. I hope it survives.

Yelp
I always loved this place! I work nearby and I stopped by for lunch today. When I was eating my food I didn't notice until halfway through, that my burger was really pink. I ended up throwing it up. :( Like I said this place is usually REALLY amazing, but I'm writing this review in hopes that maybe they change their cook? Or something?

Yelp
First time here. Had the cheeseburger combo. The cheese burger was very good. Beef was juicy and flavorful, and I really liked the flatbread "bun". Original and it worked. Nice texture and good bun to burger ratio. I did need more pickles and onion jam. I'll do that next time The fries were okay. Shoestring with a light crispy coating Tallow frying is good but I prefer fries from potatoes like 5Guys not frozen Price was very fair for the quality of the burger Staff were very helpful and friendly I'll be back but I might just get a burger next time

Yelp
What stands out here is the exceptional service. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming, a great feeling hiding here. They are extremely hard-working, the buns are made to order and unlike any other. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious. High-quality ingredients and an extremely fair price. Some of the unique flavors that you won't find elsewhere. Highly recommend recommended if you are looking for an affordable lunch in the area, I also love that they are open early if you're looking for a hearty breakfast.

Yelp
Bungraze will put your tastebuds in a daze with its exquisite tazste and a smile on yo faze after you leave this plaze. So let me tell ya what I got at this burger spot! The Smashed burger, and it came with two juicy beef grass fed patties on a fresh baked flatbread bun. To go along with it I had a side order of Curry fries and that leveled up my combo and my tastebuds agreed. So the burger had something interesting smeared all up inside, onion jam. Now either they weren't telling me everything that was mixed in it but it definitely made the taste extra special. So the burger may take awhile to come out but that's only because they are baking the flatbread on the spot. The service is good and the vibe here is old school Hip Hop so I was down with that. Meter parking available or you can pay a little extra for the structure. Overall a Mouthgasm experience and I'll definitely be coming back to this burger joint. And that's my take, Peace out.

Yelp
Definitely not your typical smash burger and I say that as a positive! I ordered the hamburger combo and the burger itself is pretty big for $10 in this economy. The flatbread makes it soooo much less messy and the texture is on point. The burger is seasoned, juicy and meshes well with the included condiments making me think less and less of my go to burger spots. The beef tallow fries are decent but not my favorite as they lean more towards well done which after a few bites gives a kind of dry mouth feel so I went after the sauces given. They either need to lessen the cook time on the fries or add some banger seasoning to make them worth it imo. This places needs more attention even at the cost of my convenience of getting my food right away. Definitely recommend and a much needed category in the little Tokyo area. No photos this time as I couldn't wait once I had my food

Yelp
Bungraze was probably my last Dine LA victim of the season! The bread is SO good!! It's soft and fluffy and not dry at all. Not quite sure if it's considered more of focaccia or flatbread but I dig it. The loaded patties are both juicy and saucy, so make sure you don't let eat of them sit for too long, or otherwise the bread will get soggy! The truffle curry fries reminded me of popcorn chicken seasoning and the basil is the perfect touch.
google avatar

Bonnie S.

Yelp
Replacing your burger with a soft fresh baked flat bread is what Bungraze is all about. They are taking a well seasoned burger combinations and inserting it into fluffy bread. I am all for it! The fries are crispy. You can either order on their kiosk or up front. As for ambiance, it appears a little disorganized but at least the seating area is clear.

Yelp
Came for dineLA $15 special and it was very delicious! I got the smash burger and it came with Parmesan fries and a fountain soda. The burger was very good but I wouldn't consider it a smash burger. The staff was super friendly too!! However the store did look a bit run down... the decor could use a bit of help.

Yelp
Tucked away in a cozy corner in Little Tokyo, Bungraze doesn't just serve burgers--it serves culinary ingenuity sandwiched between slices of house-made focaccia. Yes, you read that right. These aren't your average buns. They're fluffy, herby focaccia masterpieces that elevate the entire burger experience to something truly special. Inside it's a quaint vibe like a solid burger spot. Great to find the great burgers you're looking for and still feel a bit of old school vibe. One recommendation I'd make is to change all of the white lights in the interior. It's cheap and it will make these burger pictures look MUCH BETTER. During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting Sarita, the matriarch, who proudly shared stories of her son--the mastermind behind this burger haven. Owner-operators always win my heart, and the dynamic duo running Bun Graze are no exception. Their passion for quality and community shines through every bite. Now, let's talk fries, because these aren't mere sidekicks. The Truffle Curry Fries were a highlight with their crisp, golden edges and bold seasoning featuring curry leaves. While I didn't pick up much of the truffle, I didn't mind one bit--they were utterly delicious and paired perfectly with everything else on the table. As for the stars of the show: The OMG Burger: This was a tower of indulgence, crowned with jalapeños, crispy onion rings, and a generous drizzle of creamy sauce. It hit all the right notes with a fiery kick balanced by rich, savory goodness. The Sungraze Burger: This beauty was a classic-with-a-twist masterpiece. Juicy patties, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato, all hugged by that glorious focaccia bun. Every bite was pure comfort food bliss. Oh, and here's the kicker: Bungraze serves breakfast all day long. That's right--burgers and breakfast in one go. It's like they read my foodie dreams and turned them into reality. Whether you're in the mood for something bold and creative or just want to indulge in a feast that'll leave you planning your next visit before you've even left, Bungraze is the spot. Trust me, once you go focaccia, you'll never go back.

Yelp
New item: Loaded flatbreads! Try the Buffalo Mac and bacon loaded flatbread $16. Love burgers? Try the BBQ burger $12. Features 2 juicy grass-fed beef patties. Don't forget to add truffle fries and a drink to complete your meals. Parking is free for an hour with validation. It is lots adjacent from the restaurant.

Yelp
Homemade dough & fresh bread made with each order!! I usually throw the bread, but not this time.. fresh, soft, light, chewy with a slight crisp and it didn't inflame my gut. I had an egg and cheese, which was delicious. Hubby had the grass-fed burger and he said it was tasty and so much easier to eat the way Bungraze bread-bun folds around the burger. The fries were skinny and crispy goodness. Also enjoyed the light garlic white sauce and spicy sauce that comes with each sandwich! The restaurant was really clean. Owner and staff were very nice and helpful.
google avatar

Maria E.

Yelp
So the bread for these burgers are flatbreads which is a unique texture and flavor experience from a regular bun burger. The meat is thick and depending on the type of burger you order (loaded or simple), it is quite flavorful. I have to say, be prepared to be full because these burgers are hearty, and frankly I appreciate that. The fries are seasoned, delicious and large in portion. It's located in Little Tokyo and there are many options for dining in that area, but I do recommend this place if you're in the mood for a filling satisfying burger that is not completely unreasonable in price. They have a comfortable indoor and outdoor dining area. Restrooms for customers only. Service is friendly and hospitable.

Yelp
A nice burger spot in little tokyo. They have all day breakfast and a few types of burgers. The burger is good and they use grass fed meat. Bread is great. Hash browns were quite damped with oil. They were short off staff when I went so the wait time is pretty long. Servers are very nice. The parking lot is next to Starbucks and get validation for 1hr free parking.

Yelp
Fantastic burgers! Came here on a Sunday night after seeing the great reviews for this 4.5 month old addition to Little Tokyo. I wasn't sure what to expect, but walked away full and satisfied. I met Sarita, the super wonderful owner who explained that the family business would not tolerate low quality ingredients. Boy, did it show. The grass fed beef was so fresh and flavorful. The fries cooked in beef tallow were unbelievably crispy. And the flat bread bun was amazing! Not too dense, but able to hold the weight of the beef and still remain soft and chewy - each bun is baked to order. To top it all off are delicious house made garlic ranch and chipotle sauces. The recipes are the mastermind of Raj, the husband owner who is an internationally trained chef. After enjoying their special meal for two for $25, I didn't feel gross or heavy. This place is amazing and is run by the sweetest family. I'm definitely a repeat customer!

Yelp
Bun? What bun? That's what you'll be saying after a smashburger at Bungraze -- they've tossed the buns for folded flatbread instead. The taste is amazing. You're not exactly thinking about hamburgers in Little Tokyo, but why not go off the grid and give family-owned Bungraze a try. There's a burger-fries-drink combo special going on that cannot be beat. I went for the Sungraze -- burger with fried egg on top -- messy and delicious. Move over, ramen.

Yelp
Yummmmm! I was looking for another Treat o'clock spot and the menu had me intrigued. I wanted the carnitas burger but it also seemed spicy w the pepper jack, jalapeño jam, etc. I couldn't find a way to modify the cheese & jam online. Tried to call, so then I figured I'd try to swing by before class. No parking and I had to go. In class I drooled over the menu and read about Neil, Raj & Serita. I figured I'd try one more time after class. As I turned the corner I said, it's not meant to be if I don't find a spot. Street was full but when I u turned a spot just opened up! I walked in and was surprised there was no one there. I saw Neil outside when I came up and appreciated that he's still involved in the business. I subbed the pepper jack for a shredded cheddar and had no jalapeños added. Neil ended up ringing me up and he told me the truffle fries weren't spicy bc of curry. I ran to the loo while waiting. You need a key if you have to go. Restaurants clean, good tunes and my food came out quick. I like trying food like this when it's hot. The fries did NOT disappoint! I haven't eaten any in a long time but they were how fries should always taste, but I couldn't really taste the truffle. Or curry for that matter but they're flavorful and yummy. The sauce is a nice addition. Both that I got. The burger. The carnitas is very tasty! The whole thing is flavorful. I read about Raj and the bread and it didn't disappoint! It just all worked really well. I don't eat burgs & fries much these days but this wasn't the ordinary. Def some diff/special touches that would have me coming back (provided I find parking!) Thanks Neil & team!

Yelp
This unassuming little burger shop gets lost in the mix of delicious Japanese restaurants that surrounds it. But oh my gosh it is good!! Who would have thought a burger in a flatbread would be so tasty. I loved the flavorful burger sauce, the size hefty of the burger, plus the flatbread was fresh and warm. Their truffle fries are a bit oily, but super crispy. Also, I didn't pick up any truffle but they were well-seasoned. This place deserves more attention and customers. Lots of seating inside.

Yelp
Just had this a second time and remembered how good it was! It's a unique concept that's well executed--a well seasoned juicy burger between fresh warm flatbread that has flavor and some fluffiness and chewiness to it, and it tastes good by itself. It's not just something to hold everything in. All the elements taste good and work well together. Proportions are right IMO. The chipotle sauce and garlic ranch are so good individually and also together. Veggies taste fresh. Nothing is overpowering and it's all complementary. It's actually a little surprising how good it is, and the other thing that's surprising is the friendly service where everyone I've encountered seems happy to serve and help you, which is refreshing when I'm used to apathy and mediocre customer service around LA. I've had many of the top burgers in LA, and after this second time I think I'd include this among my top burgers (with Amboy, FTW, Love Hour, Heavy Handed, Goldburger, Moo's, etc). Check it out! You might or might not agree, but you won't regret it and might love it!

Yelp
Checked out Bungraze as part of the TreatO'Clock promo. Bungraze is a new concept of Indian style of hamburgers. Very interesting concept using flatbread which is stuffed with goodies and folded like a taco. I saw the carnitas burger on the menu and it kept calling my name. A great selection full of great ingredients and packed with exploding taste (carnitas, quac, onions, bacon........yummy). Flatbread was soft and provided a good alternative to a traditional bun. The venue is easy to get to and located in Little Tokyo. Street metered parking is light but no worries as to the south there is a lot and up to one hour you get free parking (be sure to get your parking ticket validated). Staff was very friendly and order was prepared within a reasonable time. Plenty of indoor seating plus there is outdoor seating. I was going to give them 5 stars but being true I moved it to 4. My visit was motivated from the Yelp promo, however the cashier didn't seem to be up to speed regarding the process. He was very courteous. The promo indicated 25% off your order, however I was provided an order of fries or $4 value, instead of the $7 from my $29 order. No big deal as Yelpers we do not expect something for nothing.......but a promo is a promo and hopefully from my experience they can tighten things up. Either way, I will be returning as they have a great location and some interesting menu offerings.

Yelp
I hate to leave this review because I want to gatekeep this place! The other reviews perfectly describe Bungraze. I have had a lot of burgers in LA, and I truly think this is one of the best burgers in LA. It could easily be a top 3 burger in LA, really in the country. The bread is amazing. It's warm, it's soft. The meat is juicy. The sauces they have are both wonderful. This place is so good it should be illegal. It's very affordable. Staff here is extremely helpful and very, very friendly. The space is clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. This is one of the best kept secrets in LA. I am in awe.

Yelp
I love this place!! I wanted to try something new in Little Tokyo so I tried this place out. Luckily their menu is outside so I didn't have to go in, in case I didn't want to try this place out. They also have a sign on the sidewalk, and they attached coupons on the sign for 20% off. I grabbed one of the coupons that are taped on the sign. I walked in and ordered. I handed the coupon and Neal, the cashier, took 20% off. Wow amazing. I ordered the sungraze burger ($13) and a side of fries ($4). The sungraze burger has egg and bacon. This burger so delicious. The bread was soft and flavorful. Everything was so good! But would have loved a little bit more bacon. The fries are probably the best tasting fries I ever had. Even the burger, I can't name a better tasting burger than this place. After I ordered my food, it took about 10-15 min. It's not fast food and they make to order. Neal was very helpful and was explaining to me about lots of stuff. He is such a nice, happy guy. Also showed me the kiosk sitting in the corner of the store and how they're going to start using it soon. I could tell he's a very good worker. Interior is nice and modern, they have seatings inside as well as outside. I like the vibe of the interior and it's clean. I would definitely stop by again! Food is so mouth watering!

Yelp
*HYPE ALERT* This new burger spot in the heart of Little Tokyo is the best thing you will put in your mouth. I'm not sure how something so simple as a burger can be so satisfying. Each layer of this burger is something special. Starting off with their artisan flatbread: it's made to order, has a nice crunch on the outside & perfectly chewy on the inside. ( For my brownies, this basically tastes like Naan, so you know I'll be calling this a naan burger) Mind blowing! They use grass fed beef only, their fries are fried in beef tallow (No seed oils). The seasoning on the fries is incredible -- paired with some garlic ranch & chipotle aioli is also MIND BLOWING. (I tried the veggie patty burger during their soft opening but I'm not sure that's on their regular menu yet) Regardless, all you need is one bite & you'll be hooked. The prices are impressively affordable for the quality. They have a great lunch special package and just came out with a breakfast menu too so you know I'll be back to try that! Customer service is above & beyond. It's a family owned spot & you can tell they truly care about the business. Food exceeds expectations. Atmosphere is casual & parking is street & lot. Looking forward to be back!

Yelp
what a place. located in little tokyo, this burger place is simply so amazing. upon walking in, i was greeted by the owner and when i asked him what he would recommend, he confidently said the regular hamburger. with that much confidence, anyone could tell that he took pride in nailing the essential. the establishment itself is clean and provides both indoor and outdoor seating. i loved that the menu wasn't too much; just simple burgers and combos. i tried the hamburger and made it a combo, upgrading the fries to the truffle curry fries. the food came out in around 5-10 minutes and the presentation looked great. when i took a first bite of the food, i was in AWE. the flatbread really was so fresh and the burger itself? scrumptious. the meat was juicy and the cheese was perfectly melted. the fries paired with the sauces were also just chef's kiss. i wasn't expecting much here but i will DEFINITELY be coming back to try the other menus on this list.

Yelp
Wow. So delicious. I can taste the quality of the ingredients. It's in Little Tokyo but it's a fusion of American and Indian. The bread is different from a normal hamburger, and it was so good! It is honestly pretty heavy and filling.

Yelp
Yummy new smash burger spot with delicious flat bread pizza! The curry, truffle fries were perfectly crispy! Staff really friendly and free parking for a hour in south lot behind restaurant.

Yelp
We were participating in the cicLAvia bicycle event and this restaurant was on the closed route. I ordered the ten dollar special which includes a breakfast burger and two hash browns. The egg and bacon flat bread burger was delicious and with a bit of sriracha sauce added tasted even better. I ordered at the counter but they offer a order yourself kiosk machine.

Yelp
Definitely a must-try in Little Tokyo in LA! Service was over the top. Super nice lady at the front and food came out fresh. The flatbread with the garlic ranch and spicy chipotle sauce was delicious! I got the BBQ Burger, buffalo mac and bacon flatbread, garlic parmesan fries, and truffle curry fries. They were honestly all so good and would recommend. Love that they use grass fed beef, no preservatives, and the business is family owned!
google avatar

Irene Y.

Yelp
Interesting take on burger by using flatbread buns! Really enjoyed the delicious food, but it was a bit pricey since I was hoping for a quick and easy on the wallet meal. We spent more than $45 bucks for two people getting 2 burgers and 2 fries without any drinks. I know they do have dinner specials so definitely try to take advantage of that if you can. The staff working there were very nice and friendly. Food is definitely made with love and care.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
The garlic fries are top tier especially with the ranch sauce they bring out on the side! I could eat those all day and never get tired of them. The burger was also good but I don't think the flatbread bun was for me. My friends loved it though so I think it is definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Charlie M.

Yelp
Definitely a different spin to a smashburger but the actual flatbread (with herb notes) was phenomenal. The owner was super attentive and sweet. Would come back to try their carbonara flatbread or chorizo flatbread !
google avatar

Seth W.

Yelp
Amazing burgers. BBQ burger, smash burger and even just the classic hamburger. These burgers are perfection. The meat is flavorful and cooked perfectly. The sauce is top notch. The bread. Wow! The buns are made fresh in house! Check it out. Right next to a large parking lot as well as the Japanese Village Plaza parking structure.
google avatar

Yelp
Omg the food was so amazing! The owner was really nice he hooked me up with extra French fries after I told him my love for beef tallow Fried ingredients. The sauces need to be sold by the gallon.
google avatar

Stacee S.

Yelp
Loved the concept of a freshly made flatbread burger! The smashburger was delicious, particularly because of that bread. The fries were also superb; I love this particular kind of fry that has some texture to it. Good location because it's close to boba and somisomi for dessert.

Yelp
Bungraze has delicious food. Their ingredients are fresh and tasty. Their buns are made to order. If you like homemade bread you'll love their bun! They fry in tallow so their french fries taste better than the average fry, they're super crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The burgers are made with fresh not frozen meat and are prepared well. All of this together made for a tasty lunch at a super reasonable price...get the combo...it's a great deal! Aside from the food one of the best things about Bungraze is the owner, Sarita. She was so friendly and welcoming. She really believes in her food and wants to share it with the community. So if you live/work in or visit Little Tokyo you should for sure stop by Bungraze for a meal...and say hi to Sarita!

Angela S.

Yelp
I fell in love at first bite! These burgers are amazing! Definitely better than In-N-Out!!! You have to try this cute little spot! The BBQ burger was to die for! Great service and cute spot!

If you're looking for something unique to try in Little Tokyo, look no further! This place offers an Indian fusion twist to a typical burger joint by using flatbread for the buns. And the flatbreads are made fresh too! I got the OMG Burger and it was so so good!! That burger includes onion rings, sautéed mushrooms, fresh jalapeños, pickles, and a bunch of other stuff. The flatbread really elevates the burger because it's flavored on its own and soaks up the sauces really well. The mushrooms were also really flavorful. I also got the truffle curry fries and they were super crispy and perfectly seasoned. They were even still crispy many hours later after I took them home! The two sauces they give with the fries were also delicious, especially mixed together! The restaurant was pretty empty when I went, but the woman behind the counter was so sweet and it was nice chatting with her! This place deserves a lot of hype and I really want them to succeed, so I'll definitely be back to try more items. :) If you love burgers, you should not miss this place! They also validate parking too!!

Yelp
Our neighborhood friends recommended this place, and I'm so glad we went! The team was very nice to us and helped us decide on what to get, which was a delightful dinner special that comes with fries and fountain drinks! We were solely missing a local burger place in Little Tokyo after Johnny Rocket's closed many moons ago. So with the arrival of Bungraze, I was curious! I've never had this type of bun before but it's delicious! I think the dinner special is great to share, with a generous portion of fries. You gotta try the yummy ranch and chipotle sauce with it too! Definitely will come back when I'm craving a burger.

Yelp
THIS is one of the very best burgers anyone could ever ask for! The fries and the in house made bun on the burger, amazing, so good! In Little Tokyo, on Central. Be sure and go, you will not be disappointed! Sareta is so nice and the service is great. We look forward to meeting the chef next visit. Leslie, suggested Bungraze, and she was so right! Aileen and Nancy suggests everyone try Bungraze too!

Yelp
I came here for lunch and the deal was incredible! There was a $11 lunch special for a hambuger with cheese, fries, and a fountain drink. I'm not a burger person but I was actually impressed by this one! They use a flatbread instead of traditional buns, and the meat quantity was solid (not like tiny In-N-Out patties). The fries were excellent and of the battered variety, which made them very crispy. I also liked how they provided an aioli that you can spread on your burger or eat with fries. I would definitely come back. The other burgers look very good with the specialty toppings but idk if I could resist the lunch special deal. My only gripe was that they took a while to cook the food which isn't ideal if you're on your limited-time lunch break. Hopefully they smoothed out the issues now so the food comes out quicker.

Yelp
Bungraze is amazing. You will never have another burger like it. The meat is wonderful, all cooked to order and the way you want it cooked and best of all it comes on this flatbread that is made right there, hot for you. It is sort of like Nann, but not. It is just the best. Inside the place is clean and cute. The service is wonderful. Everyone that works there is happy and ready to help you. It is comfort food at its best with great employees. We got burgers. We tried the Sungraze Burger, which had a wonderful bacon jam, bacon and egg on top. It was so so good. We also tried their regular burger, which has all the topping you want and is made with care. It is so good. We shared truffle curry fries that were made fresh for us and were just amazing. You have to try this place.

Yelp
I ordered their $11 hamburger lunch special which includes fries and a drink. The flatbread was nice and crispy, and the meat patties were very flavorful and fresh. The fries were also very crispy. The cashier was very friendly and checked in on me while I was eating. The service was great, and I would come back to try their other burgers.

Yelp
Crazy good breakfast burger. Fresh made flatbread bun is just the tip of the iceberg.

Yelp
This is your next FAVORITE burger spot! Have you ever tried a flatbread hamburger? Now is your chance at Bungraze in Little Tokyo. Not only are their burgers juicy, but their flatbread buns are freshly made in-house! The flatbread has a nice crunch on the exterior and perfectly chewy inside. Their fries were so crispy, garlicky, and the seasoning was impeccable. But wait.. it gets better.. Their garlic ranch & chipotle aioli they serve is AMAZING! Their ranch is the best hands down. The customer service was great as well. Shout out to Neil! What we ordered: --The Smashedburger (w/ cheese, pickles, spread, & onion jam) --The B.B.Q. Burger (w/ bacon, bacon jam, onion rings, & bbq sauce) --Garlic Parmesan Fries

Yelp
Very unique experience having a flatbread as a burger bun. Enjoyed every last bite ooooh and the garlic ranch was out this world along with the chipotle house sauce they make . This is a place you travel to

Yelp
Good price for a full lunch. Fries were good and I think their sauces are like a chutney and white sauce or something I'm not sure but not your basic ketchup. I do wish that there was a little more volume with the tomato and lettuce but that's just a personal preference. Seems like very nice people who care about their business. It's set up like a very traditional American diner but with some Indian? influence in their food I think. They took over a spot that used to be a yogurtland.

Yelp
Great idea with the flatbread hamburgers! They're located in Little Tokyo, around the corner of the Little Tokyo Metro. I tried the hamburger, and yesterday I tried the Smashburger. They're both excellent, but it depends on what you're in the mood for. It's a family business, and I met some of the family members, and they're very friendly. The other day, I picked up an order and didn't get the drink, and yesterday, my order was in the house. I'll get through the menu in the next month or two since it's just burgers, fries, drinks, and shakes.
