Listen this is the most perfect place to get something to eat. You wouldn’t think it would be this amazing but the design of the place is very retro but modern. It’s a great size and always very clean. The bathroom is amazingly clean as well, they take amazing care of this amazing establishment. Now let’s talk about the food, amazing. Quality is phenomenal form the dogs and seasonings to the amazing sides and fries. PLEASE COME HERE AND PLEASE COME THREE MORE TIMES!!

Giving the most honest review. Pics are deceiving and screw Uber eats and their promotions. The chicken strips and fries were burnt and salt less, the “gourmet”cheese fries were no where close to gourmet and were basically cheese less with no salt. The burger was barely ok, it was over powered with a bunch of sweetness, and the chilly dog just tasted off and this is coming from an 11yr old that loves chilly dogs. Highly disappointed because I really wanted the same experience as the positive reviews.

Nos atendió Johan, excelente servicio. Cozy spot with a great vibe. We really liked the boneless wings and I personally loved my hot dog! 😋 Cold beers! Very clean. Many home made sauces. My bf had the Alpine burger and liked it too.

A little burger, hot dogs, wings place out of a modified shipping container on the Navigation esplanade. Great place to grab a quick bite and sit outside and enjoy the neighborhood. I had the bone-in buffalo wings and bacon burger. Wings were on point, crispy and good flavor. Bacon burger comes with crispy onions and a nice sauce. The patty could use some improvement, a little on the small size and not super flavorful, but overall the burger was good. Service was very fast, but it wasn't super busy when I was there. Would definitely go back and loved sitting on the esplanade.

Awesome spot. Dogs are top notch. Nice cold beer. Kids dog was sliced for kids, which I never see at other places. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Youtube minecraft videos on the tv was the icing on the cake for my little guy. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. If you're in Houston and looking for a great hot dog spot look no further and get over to Buns & Drafts.

This place is just down the street from my apartment in East End, so I decided to walk over for a quick and easy dinner. A small operation located inside a shipping container, it 's the first thing you pass on the Esplanade. Food is counter-serve with a patio outside for dining. As the name suggests, there are a variety of burgers and hotdogs on offer in addition to wings. I went with the Diablo burger (traditional burger with house-made spicy sauce) and made it a combo, adding fries and a beer. There was a beer in the refrigerator that I wasn't familiar with - Midnight, an IPA from Danish brewery Jai Ho - which my server said they were currently promoting and so gave to me for free in addition to the Karbach Love Street I had selected with the combo. Upon digging in, I ultimately found the burger to be a bit underwhelming with the patty not being overly juicy and the hyped diablo sauce to not really be anything special. The fries were hot and fresh, but again nothing to really write home about. The aforementioned MIdnight beer did, however, prove to be a decent IPA. As for the restaurant environment, unfortunately while I was seated on the patio, there happened to be a few ants, which made their way on to my legs and left me with a few bites (though not really painful). That minor annoyance, though, was overriden by the overall patio experience. When I first sat down, late 90s and 2000s music was playing over the speakers, which then eventually changed to some great Norteno tracks. A group of Hispanic gentleman in jeans and cowboy hats were seated at another table, speaking in Spanish, and sipping Modelos while enjoying the Friday evening in the glow of the neon sign of the nearby Merida Tex-Mex restaurant. Thus, while the food might have been just okay, I loved the vibe surrounding it which seemed to be perfectly Houston and East End. For these reasons, while I wouldn't recommend one travel specifically to eat at Buns & Drafts, if you are in the East End and looking for a meal that can be enjoyed with some patio sitting on the esplanade, B&D is not a bad choice.

I go the spicy burger and it was great. It had jalapeños grinded with the beef patty. Good flavor, homemade burger. Fries were hot and fresh. Good service. My wife got the hotdog and she liked it. Will be back when we're in the area.

I went here after my maternity photoshoot. I was super hungry afterwards and my husband, son, and mom (grandma) wanted to get something fast to eat and this was the spot! Since I am pregnant I can’t try their hotdogs yet, but next time if we are in the area I would love to try! Burgers tasted great. I got the original not sure what my husband ordered but he liked how the quality of the meat is present. Fries are fresh and delicious. My son got the chicken tenders and fries which he loved. My mom got the hotdog that had the avocados on top, she said it was so amazing! Restrooms are so impressively clean. There’s a little inside booth to eat otherwise outside is nice, too. Thank you so much for the great experience!
