Buon Gusto Pizzeria & Grill

This is the best pizza restaurant in Northern Harford County! I ordered an 18 inch pizza with four toppings…the price still came to a quite reasonable $27. My pie came to my table in less than 15 minutes. Generally, I find pizza crust a waste of time. Buon Gusto’s crust proved simultaneously crunchy, flaky, and flavorful. The restaurant stocks a wide range of condiments at each table. My server asked me if I wanted ketchup or Parmesan with my pizza (which arrived chilled). Morgan went to great lengths to provide me with outstanding service throughout my meal. I also liked the fact that this restaurant does not charge extra for tap water. I’d recommend Buon Gusto if you’d like a top-quality pizza combined with great service.

The pizza here is ok...about what you would expect for a place in a rural area with no serious competition around. We went traditional and ordered a large pepperoni pizza, garlic bread, and marinara sauce. I thought the pepperoni could have more of a bite to them, and this was a cheesier pizza than I typically like - much rather prefer a saucier pie. I would certainly come back, but I would like to try other options. I saw a pickle pizza that looked intriguing...

Date night with husband and ordered some light appetizers, a Cesar salad, and chicken nuggets. Everything was wonderful and the best part was THEY HAVE DINO NUGGIES!!! That’s right you can enjoy being just a big kid with your spouse and split a portion of dinosaur nuggets!! Honestly the best highlight of the date so far especially since we usually miss our little one when we go out. But nuggets we don’t have to share is amazing! Thank you for making our night! And for making something available on the menu that you know children will love to eat! Don’t mind the portion on the picture I ate most out of sheer excitement.

Stopped here for the first time today. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is warm and up to date. Very clean. Friendly employees. You order at the counter and the waitress brings your food. We finally found a place to eat where one pizza feeds our family of seven!! Can't wait to try something else on the menu. Highly recommend.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Buen Gusto cater a wedding reception this past weekend, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. The owners are truly wonderful—kind, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. We even made last minute changes and there were no problems. As someone who is Italian and very picky about meatballs (they almost never live up to homemade), Buen Gusto’s meatballs are incredible—so good, in fact, that we ended up ordering three trays of them, along with chicken Parmesan and baked ziti. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food—everyone kept asking where it came from! Also, we were thrilled to find out that Buen Gusto deliver to Falling Branch Brewery. We’ve found our go-to Italian place. Thank you, Buen Gusto, for making our special day even more memorable!

Great subs! Pizza is good but not the best around. The cheese ALWAYS slides off. Every. Single. Time. Maybe some people like that. To each their own

The best customer service I’ve had in a really long time!! Helped bring the food to my car because I had my son with me. And went through my order to make sure nothing was forgotten. WILL be coming back!

Love this place! My daughter and I will be stopping here again in july, I can't wait! The ladies are all so friendly while taking orders and even offered pizza boxes for our heads (it was raining)

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I had not eaten there for years, about a month ago we ordered from there and the cheeseburger sub was the absolute best! We ordered again when family came and again everyone raved about the cheeseburger sub! Great job because the food is amazing!

The food and service were great. This was a stop along the way home for us, heading back to NJ. Since I am from NJ pizza dough is always a point of contention. This was very good. They also had a great deal going on for thursday's an 18" XL Cheese Pizza for $10. What a steal! Highly recommend checking this out. Pizza review - Maybe a little undercooked and very cheesy. Extremely tasty but if I'm building my perfect pizza next time i'd ask for well done.

We go to Buon Gusto all the time because they are close. This area is void of truly good pizza, so there ain't much competition. The staff is really nice and they are fast despite being very busy most of the time. I think the place gets such good reviews for this reason and because it is a local hang out. There's always kids sports teams in there. Cheesesteaks are good here as is the Stromboli and a few other things we've had. The pizza and Stromboli would be better if the crust was more brown. On every pizza we've had, the crust is very white and under done. Maybe I'll ask them to leave it in the oven an extra minute or so the next time we go. Cold subs are only average. The flow in and out of the place could use some additional thought. They do quite the take out business and the counter area is packed most of the time with people picking up, people placing orders, people trying to get to the drinks/refills from the fountains, and people waiting for take out orders to get done.

This is an example of their Greek salad. One slice of salami, three little rolls of ham, two tomatoes, some cheese, onions, and a bunch of lettuce. To top it all off no fork or dressing to go with it. What a waste of time and money. Staff was nice when I placed my order.

Fantastic food, great service and the owners are very friendly. Carry out or dine-in it's always fast and friendly service.

Best pizza around, hands down. Crust is crispy, sauce is sweet and there's plenty of cheese. Note: you take this pie to go and you will lose some crisp but once the pie is reheated on stove top it's like dining in. Really Good pizza. Wish it was closer to home.

I went with the Italian Sub with hots again this time, but also had a slice of pizza too with a family group of 6, 2 pizzas were ordered, so I had a slice with leftover pizza. I got 10 sign-ins now for this location so it's become a nicer location that I enjoy the food from with better food, staff and faster more on the spot food services than other locations offer.

Good food ,especially good service , parking a bit tight and so is the inside. The owner is especially friendly and goes out of his way to please the customers

Best pizza in the area and the prices are budget friendly. Delta pizza has nothing on this place. Staff are sweet and helpful. My mom had a flat and the owner helped her. When my husband was on bedrest with round clock care one of the young ladies personally delivered us pizza. Always busy but the wait is alway 25mins. Love this place and will continue being a loyal customer. I always recommend them over anyone else.​

Leaving a 5 star review because they have been like family to us. We love Lorenzo and family. This establishment is ran by Italian Americans, in a predominantly County white area. Some of the things they do are probably to cater to the people in the area. I would like to see more authentic style Italian. Pies cooked all the way. Sauce with less sugar. I shouldn't have to ask for less doughy pizza from an Italian owned shop. Other than that this place is great. I highly recommend anyone in the area to try them. Especially if you like Americanized Italian food. Try the heart shaped pizza for Vday day.

This is a great counter service Italian spot. I got the chicken parmesan and it was really good. I would definitely get this again and if I came back. Not the very best I have ever had but it's definitely a solid delicious dish. She got the shrimp Caesar salad and it was really good, the shrimp surprised me with how good it tasted. This is not a neighborhood I'm in very often but I'm glad I found it!

Buon Gusto is a little slice of heaven! When my family visits back from Alabama, Katy and Lorenzo always welcome us back with open arms and warm smiles. The pizza is so good, after a 800+ mile road trip, I'm down to eat a few slices and devour the wings. The wings are mouth watering and some of the best in the area. If you're up for a challenge, ask for a "Shaner" sub. It's flipping huge and a true challenge to get it down. If Marc is flipping dough, you'll have to ask for the sensual pizza show. Ladies get ready for mouth watering pizza and a show!

The place is really busy for such lackluster pizza. The staff also has a blasé attitude toward their customers. I can't comment on the ambiance of the place because it's always filled. I just don't get it. People act like it's the only place in town, but there's another pizza joint just over the state line in Delta with much yummier pizza. Better customer relations too.

I wanted to like this so much because I've heard it about locally but never tried it. This was certainly not "Italian style" pizza as some have described. Maybe it was an off day; we went on a Tuesday night. We got one pepperoni pizza and one mushroom pizza. The mushroom pizza looked like it was made in an entirely different pizzeria. The crust was thick, overloaded with cheese and undercooked so eating it was like eating a glob of cheese. And the mushrooms were only put in the very center of the pizza in a clump so when you took a piece of pizza all of the mushrooms came off the entire pizza. The pepperoni was thin and cooked ok but didn't have any flavor. We also got an order of hot wings which had a store bought sauce that was gritty. I love all kinds of pizza but I thought with the hype of this place it would at least be good or even good but maybe not my style pizza. But unfortunately it's one of the few places that I thought was terrible. Good service inside though; friendly when we walked in.

by far the greatest restaurant experience I've had all year! for $35 my wife got a 7" sub, large portion of fries, a a drink and I got the same we also ordered 2 appetizers, we have enough leftovers for another meal too! we were there about 30 minutes, our appetizers were out within 5 minutes of ordering, and our main course was out 10 minutes later. the waitress checked on us 3 times after delivering our food! fantastic service fantastic food fantastic prices! I've not had service like this since before Covid

This place is outstanding!!! We've been here once a week for months now and I've never been disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It has a very hometown feel. The food is delicious!! The wings are always hot and fresh.

Our absolute favorite pizza place around! Their stuffed crust is so good and so is their regular crust pizza! When we get it for friends out of town they rant and rave about it just like we do. Family owned and operated... by the best family around!

Ordered a "Plain White Pizza" & made the mistake of paying for it before seeing it. It looked like someone had puked up a broccoli salad on it. The redneck witch behind the counter had the audacity to argue with me about it. I left it behind and headed up to Ma&Pas. Never try a new place pretending to be something they clearly are not!!!

Just moved to area recently. This place was recommended by a friend. It has become my new favorite place to eat. Everything I have tried so far has been awesome from spaghetti to cheesesteaks to pizza and fish platters. Have not been disappointed at all. Staff is wonderful also. Would highly recommend.

Usually whenever we're in the area we eat at Eats & Sweets but they were closed so we finally decided to give this place a chance. This place seems to really pack them in, from workers on lunch breaks to sports teams, this place was filled the day we stopped but we scored a table out front. FYI this place has outdoor dining in the warmer months which is something we look for because we almost always have our golden retriever with us. Hubby and I shared a whole Pizza Steak and an order of fries, both were really good but I wasn't a big fan of the sauce. The clerk who took our order seemed all business, not very welcoming or personable but in her defense it was a bit hectic

This was a good restaurant. The staff are nice. Over the past year or two the food has not been as good. The pizza is undercooked and floppy. Now tonight we ordered a restaurant week special. It was marketed as pasta, salad and cheesecake for $15. The pasta portion was extremely small and the cheesecake was pumpkin? Ew? It was not advertised as pumpkin. It was still frozen. This makes me think it was left over from the fall . It's now January.

Just ok food. And rarely what you asked for on a carryout sub. They skimp too much on pizza ingredients as well.

The pizza wasn't great. It wasn't the worst but not the best. They also use canned mushrooms instead of fresh. The wings however were really good.

I've been here twice and it is a nice place. Clean and orderly. I had Sicilian slices the other day with a salad and today I had chicken parmigiana. It was very good especially the sauce. I liked it. Would definitely try other things in the coming weeks. Friendly staff too!!

Very nice spot, you wouldnt think you can dine in just by looking at the storefront. I like the wide menu selection and items came out hot and fresh.

Buon Gusto has become a staple for my husband and I! Having lived in Europe for twenty years, I can genuinely say that their pizza is authentic. We love their menu!

So it's been several months since this place was just a discovery. Since then my husband and I have ordered several times. The pizza is perfect. Try the cheese, double cheese. I've ordered the hot wings, not as spicy as I was hoping for but very delicious. Last night I tried the wings in "bang bang" flavor (extra sauce). I have found a new menu favorite. They've mastered the recipe. They have just enough heat in the sauce balanced with the sweet. If your looking for a great cheeseburger, look no further. This is how I discovered them. I still order them because they make it perfectly. An interesting twist, select a toasted ciabata for the bread and add thousand island dressing. (My order recipe also includes cheddar cheese, raw onions, pickles and banana peppers, NO lettuce or tomatoes -out of this world delicious!) Cheesecake or the chocolate chip cookie (it's huge) for dessert is a winner. I have yet to be disappointed with the food. I also like that I can order & pay online to make the pick up so much easier.

I recommend this place to my family and friends. They are the definition of customer service. I wish I'd paid attention to the name of the young lady who served me. She acted like I was the first and only customer and she was delighted to serve me!! Wow!! I plan to go back there just to get her name. But...all other staff appeared to be just as gracious. The food was delicious! What a delight. Very refreshing. I'm a very happy customer. I will drive the half hour to get there every time.!Kudos!!

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is clean and it opens up for plenty of eat-in seating. Pizza is above average - thin, but not so much that it has no chew. The pastas are more than passable. The salads are okay as well. Subs seem to be a favorite and the strombolis looked great and were being enjoyed at other tables. Prices were pretty reasonable. The service was better than most and the owners strive to do good things in and for the community. I would not hesitate to eat here the next time I am in the area.

I've given this place many chances. Once I got food that was black because it was so burnt. Several times I've received my cold sub in the bag w/ steaming hot food. Mayo based foods combined with hot foods-no Bueno. I've ordered the daily special twice now-the first time I Wasn't given a drink at all. The second time I had to ask them for my cup since the special includes the drink. The cook had to go get the cashier to come help me because I had been waiting so long to pick up my order. She comes up, walks right past me, and asks the cook what he needs. Ummmm yeah....if you weren't the only pizzeria in the area you'd be out of business.

Good pizza really good subs. You can carry out or eat in. The can get crowded but will hustle you through in a few minutes. The prices are good for being in the middle of smallsville lol.

Their sweet and spicy wings are delicious. I wish they would make their pizza a little thicker so the crust would be done more and not just the top of the pizza

This is a great dine in/carry out pizza shop. The food is always great, the people that work there are really friendly. Not many pizza shops have decent wings, but theirs are great! The aren't small and fatty at all, and the prices are great. Will definately come here again.

The food is bomb. The prices are amazingly affordable. We ordered our food and within 10 minutes it was brought to our table. Wings are cooked perfectly and don't let me get started with their pizza! It's delish!

I was given the recommendation to go here and get the cheesesteak. I did, and it was no good. The price was cheap but I got what I paid for. The sub was made with Steam-ums. It was disgusting. The fries were obviously frozen, the pizza they compared to Pizza John's but it does not even come close. Very unfortunate. Aviod it possible.

I think this pizza is some if the best around. I'm a Marylander but PA has got the best pizza joints and Buon Gusto in a triangle pie war on the with a few other good pizza joints. Note who I wrote about. My boys hunt near by and at times frequent this place.......consistent good eats!

This has to be one of the best family run businesses I have ever been too! The owner and his staff are super friendly and the food is fantastic. I live in NYC but grew up in Pylesville. I have been going to Buon Guston since it was Delta Pizza. The pizza, calzones, cheesesteaks, wings...everything is great and has not changed. They could rival any NY pizza shop...and that is saying a lot! Keep up the great work and I look forward to visiting next time I'm in town!

Moved to the area a few months ago. We order from BG @ least once a week & always good...2 large cheese pizzas & 24 wings (garlic parmesan & honey bbq). Occasionally, we order cheesesteaks & they're good too! My only complaint would b the online ordering... coupon says you can save $5 if ordering $30/more, but @ checkout it only takes $3 off. So, we've gotten where I just call in & ask 4 the coupon tok b taken off @ pickup.
