Buranko Cafe is a sister space from Phat Cart cafe located in downtown Portland, serving a blend of modern asian fusion comfort food. Featuring Hawaiian poke, seasonal ramen noodles + Thai, Korean and Japanese inspired street food.
"It’s easy dining with kids at Buranko, an Asian diasporic all-day cafe and restaurant. For the little ones, the restaurant offers a choice of kids meals including fried chicken, tofu, and Hawaiian pork, all served with rice. For the rest of the menu, Buranko offers dishes like Korean galbi, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki fries. There’s even a play area for kids if they get antsy from sitting for too long." - Rebecca Roland
"An Asian fusion cafe with dishes like okonomiyaki fries and linguine pad kee mao, and a family-friendly atmosphere." - Janey Wong
"Compelling cocktails and a terrific (and clean) play area for kids." - Paolo Bicchieri
"There are also places like Buranko Cafe & Bar or Bar Carlo, which feel a little restaurant-y but definitely pull off the all-day cafe thing." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
