The Best Restaurants to Bring Your Kids in Portland | Eater Portland

"It’s easy dining with kids at Buranko, an Asian diasporic all-day cafe and restaurant. For the little ones, the restaurant offers a choice of kids meals including fried chicken, tofu, and Hawaiian pork, all served with rice. For the rest of the menu, Buranko offers dishes like Korean galbi, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki fries. There’s even a play area for kids if they get antsy from sitting for too long." - Rebecca Roland

Google
This restaurant is a real find. The venue is clean and comfortable, while still having personality. The food is exceptional, fresh, tasty, and delicious. The orange chicken is perfect. The rice and zucchini are an added bonus. We had the spring rolls, as well. So good. The meal was prepared perfectly and surprisingly quickly. The owner waited on us, and he is personable and helpful. He was very accommodating to my friend’s dietary restrictions. A family with a small child came in while we were there, and it was impressive to see how welcoming the staff was. The prices are fair for such quality food and atmosphere. This place is a must visit, when in Portland.

Google
One of the best restaurants in downtown Portland! As soon as you walk in, you will notice that the hectic city atmosphere disappears. Calm music plays throughout the restaurant, with spacious seating and comfy chairs/sofas. They have a children's play area off to the side too, which is nice for keeping the children occupied while the food is prepared. They have many different food options and the staff will customize them any way you like to ensure you enjoy your meal. The owner, Kris, is super nice and down to earth. He truly cares about all the customers. And Natcha(?) was very helpful in seating us, and providing our food quickly. Must stop here if you are in town!

Google
Let me just start by saying the ambiance is MUCH NEEDED in the hustle and bustle of our busy city. It’s so calm, inviting, the staff so welcoming!! Photo1: We ordered the poke, 10/10 highly recommend it was delicious!! Photo 2: The oven roasted chicken was soo incredibly tender, juicy and full of flavor! 10/10. Photo 3: kids orange chicken bowl DEVOURED! 10/10 our 4yr old asked for seconds!! Now for the kids play area… every restaurant needs one!!! So amazing and even with this special space the ambiance was still sooo calm and the unwind had by all was needed in our busy day.

Google
Love that we could eat in peace while our toddler played in the cute play area, and our dishes tasted amazing! We especially loved the crispy wings. We wanted to order dessert but were too full, so we'll be back!

Google
Great meal before going to a concert at Roseland Theater. Had the tuna poke, okonomiyaki fries, takoyaki, and ramen. It was all delicious! Cocktails were creative. Service was friendly ands attentive. Music was great (for a 90’s kid!)

Google
Awesome location and vibes. Hosts groups often (we walked by it everyday and saw a group there). Good variety in meals and decent pricing. Something I found super cool was that they have a child play area. I feel like more restaurants should follow suite. There was several alcohol and non alcoholic options. It is right across from a paid parking and lots of street parking. If you are staying in a hotel, I recommend getting some gyozo to go for a late night snack.

Google
We visited Portland and this restaurant was such a great find we even went twice. Amazing food & drinks, great service, and the play area was amazing to have with two little ones.

Google
Nicely decorated cafe! A lot of small details in decoration. They even have a designated area for kids for playing.

Yelp
My son has eaten here once before. He said he really likes this restaurant. and wanted me to come and try the food If I have a chance My son said He also talked with the owner. And he liked him very much. Today I have the opportunity Come try the food here. It's very delicious, just like my son said. I'll definitely come again when I have the chance. Passed through again

Yelp
This place is honestly pretty underrated - we went here on a Saturday dinner around 6:30pm aka supposedly prime dinner time and there were only 2 tables occupied. We got to sit in one of the nice hammock-like chairs and ordered 2 cocktails and 2 entrees to share for the 2 of us. We tried: Kyoto Fog - nice matcha flavor and the alcohol did not taste too strong. It was a nice touch to see Pinkitini - very floral and fruity, light and refreshing drink with lychee but the lychee was not sweet at all (perhaps a bit watered down) for some reason. Million Dollar Shrimp Tom Kha Ramen - sooooo delicious! Coconut lemongrass soup with noodles that were just al dente and fresh shrimp. It is to no surprise this is one of the most popular dishes on the menu Moo Kra Tiem - garlic pepper pork. I do like the grilling of the meat and the spicy sauce, but the rice was way too mushy so that was a miss. This is one of their seasonal specials. Service is good as water refills were apparent and the servers were fairly attentive to take dishes away as needed. I would recommend this place if you want a place that serves good Thai/Korean inspired food and want a casual, not overly crowded dining experience.

Yelp
This is a great family-friendly restaurant for those with little kiddos. They have a play area inside the restaurant for smaller kids which makes it easy for parents to dine and keep the little ones busy. Menu is Asian fusion and pretty good! Their tom yum ramen was delicious and an interesting blend of the two dishes. Giving 4 stars though because of a more recent visit - we came for dinner on a week night and they seemed extremely understaffed. Our server was very kind but only interacted with us to take our orders, otherwise was very busy with all the other tables which was fine I guess cause we're pretty low maintenance anyway. Our food came out, however, and it was cold. At that point we didn't bother letting them know because we couldn't get ahold of our server. Ordered the Chashu bowl and it was ok - good flavor and plated nicely but, again, it did not come out hot. My husband ordered the spicy Seoul chicken bowl and it also came out pretty cold, not even lukewarm. Would still come back regardless because we have a little one and we love a family-friendly establishment!

Yelp
Overall, the restaurant is super cute vibes, the music selection was fun. Cute for photos. The staff were also friendly and checked up on us at least once. The food was decent. The paid Thai was well flavored with the soft shell crabs 7/10. The Kao Mun Gai Kod was good but wished there were more chili sauce. 7/10

Yelp
My absolute new favorite place. Not long was the food so good and there was a perfect variety on the menu. The service was excellent and staff was so nice and they are super kid friendly!! There is even a play area and a fish tank for hours (or minutes for our kids) of mesmerizing staring. The kids area has blocks, trains, play kitchen, vehicles, and more. It was ideal for keeping the kiddos entertained the whole time we were there! Then on top of that the food was so good!! The soft shell crab pad Thai was so unexpected and perfectly chewy noodles with crispy soft shell crab. The chicken bowls were crispy and saucy and comforting. Takoyaki was fresh and good chewy / creamy and octopus ratio. I love that they have a kids menu for little appetites too. Theango sticky rice was also sooo good. Salty sweet balance. I can't wait to go back! It's so hard to find kid friendly places with kind service and delicious food.

Yelp
Really delirious food and a great fun atmosphere, and a really nice kids play area to boot!

Yelp
Very cute cafe with a spacious area for kids to play in! I think it is a very unique idea to have a designated place for kids to play in. Very family friendly! My friends and I did family style when we dined here. Food was decent. It had an Americanized approach to Asian dishes. I thought the okonomiyaki fries were very unique but probably needed just a tad bit more sauce on the fries since it didn't really scream okonomiyaki to me. I think my favorite dish out of everything I tried was the linguine kee mao. They had some very unique and interesting alcoholic drinks on the menu! I went with their nonalcoholic fizz drink though and did enjoy it. We got the mango sticky rice for dessert and the mango was so so sour.... Not a good season to be eating mangos I think. Overall not a bad place. Personally I would come again for the ambiance and letting my child play in the kids area!

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick drink while we waited for our reservation nearby. Staff was friendly and fast. Drinks were tasty. Recommend the ginger lychee soda! The egg chairs were cute!

Yelp
I was initially attracted to this restaurant because of its cute interior design, from the weaved chairs to the lots of greenery that I could see from outside. We came for early dinner on a weekday and the service was quick. My friend and I shared the soft shell crab pad thai, curry, and sticky mango rice. Let me just say that they know how to plate aesthetically. But, unfortunately for us, we thought that was the best part. Everything felt a little over-seasoned. A little too sweet, a little too salty, a little too "much" of everything. I felt the salt a tiny bit when eating, but I was reaching for water all evening. I wonder if it was a one time thing, or if their food tends to be over-seasoned in general. Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed :(

Yelp
Excellent decor, atmosphere, music, service, and flavorful dishes! Was so good went there twice this weekend. We tried the bulgogi beef, teriyaki dumplings, spicy chicken wings, larb tuna poke bowl, mango and sticky rice, and not shown in photos the soft shell crab pad Thai. Everything was so full of flavor and delicious. The mango and sticky rice was the best way to end the meal! Best of all they have a friendly and welcoming kids play area and two tables directly next to it, so the little ones can be entertained while parents and family can enjoy their meal.

Yelp
Buranko's easy online ordering system swayed me into picking this spot for lunch takeout today (well, that and it's super close proximity to our hotel). My order was ready in about 15 minutes from placing it. My husband and I shared two dishes: Spicy Seoul Chicken Bowl and Hawaiian Pork. Both were very good and filling for the price. The spicy chicken is quite spicy! I would've appreciated more of the pickled cucumbers on the side to balance out the heat though. I also ordered the kid's meal with tofu which comes with rice, sauce and avocado (also have a chicken option), which seemed like a good size for kiddos as well. I only spent a moment inside Buranko when grabbing my order, but the space was welcoming and light, with lots of plants and cool bamboo looking chairs along the window. Definitely a cool spot with some yummy eats, and looking at other reviews, sounds like a great happy hour place!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
The food and service were delicious, and the atmosphere with little kids was wonderful. We had a busy day with a 4 year old and under two year old, and they were happy all dinner with the play area, fish, and food. We are here on vacation, and will definitely be back this trip!
google avatar

Deb K.

Yelp
Nice place to get away for a fun time and great service in an interesting atmosphere. Food and drinks were pretty good too. The spicy chicken is really spicy but mixing the sweet sticky rice helped a lot. The only part we couldn't really enjoy was the kid's area because there was a large party that took up 90% of the restaurant but they squeezed us in by the fish tank so that we could eat there. Service was excellent! Be forewarned that they automatically tack on 20% gratuity even though our party was four people.

Yelp
This was such a cool concept! We spontaneously stepped in here as we had some time to spare while downtown. A cafe, bar, and a fusion of all Asian food, we were intruiged! They even have a little playground area for children to hang out. The place is spacious and we were quickly seated for not having a reservation. We ordered a few quick bites to share: -mango sticky rice -okonomiyaki fries -tuna poke -crispy tofu -pork shoulder bowl Food was good and service very accomodating! Just a littleeee on the pricey side.

Yelp
This is my second time visiting this place and like the last time, it was pretty empty- slow day. The service was pleasant and quick so no complaints there! A very family friendly place, as there were kids playing in the kid area. My friend and I tried the Korean Chicken and the tomyum chashu ramen- both were plated nicely. The taste was definitely geared toward a more American palate, nonetheless, still tasty. I do enjoy coming here because of how aesthetically nice it is inside, very cute decor and such. Overall, a fun place to go, especially if you're bringing someone who hasn't been here before!

Yelp
Buranko Cafe is a fusion Asian restaurant and bar serving comfort food from various countries including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and more. We went in because we saw a lot of cool chairs, and it had an "outdoor patio" vibe, although it was inside. They don't turn on the air conditioning, so it may be too warm for most people. There's a children's play area as well, so this could be good for families. [COCKTAILS] +Tamarind Margarita (jalapeño infused tequila, tamarind, serrano, lemon, simple syrup, salt, and chili) for $15 - 4/5 [MOCKTAILS] +Lychee Ginger House-made Fizz for $6 - Although this tasted good with a lot of lychee flavor, it was much too sweet. I personally wouldn't order this. - 3/5 [FOOD] +Galbi (marinated Korean beef short ribs, scallion, roasted sesame, sautéed zucchini, kimchi, and rice) for $17 - 4.5/5 [SIDES] +Okonomiyaki Fries (Japanese mayo, okonomiyaki sauce, furikake, nori, sesame, bonito flakes, and green onion) for $10 - 4/5 +Chicken Gyoza (pan-fried chicken dumplings glazed with homemade gyoza sauce, fried garlic, sesame, scallion, and cilantro) for $9 - 4/5

Yelp
We came here for a group happy hour outing as it was a very convenient location for us. The interior is spacious and well decorated. The service here is quick and attentive. They were able to accommodate our large group and made sure we were all taken care of. I did enjoy my drink and some of the light snacks that we ordered.

Yelp
I just wanted to give a quick update from a girl's night dinner I had a while ago, where we tried the spicy seoul chicken bowl, linguine pad kee mao, kare, and million dollar shrimp tom kha ramen. Once again, the service was very quick and the inside hasn't changed at all--it's so beautiful and a great place for photos. The food this time was also phenomenal and I highly recommend every dish we ordered. They were a great fusion, full of flavor and offered something new to each dish. Absolutely loved it.

Yelp
Just okay. A bit underwhelming from what I was expecting, but I'm glad I gave them a try. They have a beautiful interior with egg-dome(?) rattan chairs, a children's play area, large windows, and string lights - the perfect ambiance for a casual dinner or a cute date. The menu is fusion, with influences from Korean, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisines. Portland is all about fusion, and I was intrigued to see their creative palate. We ordered the chicken katsu, soft shell crab pad thai, and mango sticky rice. Food arrived in a timely manner and portions were big - great for sharing! The pad thai did not taste authentic and had a heavy tomato base. It was saucier than other pad thai's I've had, and it seemed they used premade sauce/spices. The chicken katsu was good, but not memorable. The breading was a bit thick, and the curry tasted like those Japanese curry cubes. The mango sticky rice may have been the redeeming dish of the meal. The sticky rice was warm and cooked perfectly. It wasn't too sweet and the mangoes were perfectly ripe. Not sure if I'd come back, but the ambiance is great for group gatherings!

Yelp
Great aesthetic and ambiance upon entering the restaurant. Lots of greenery, hanging chairs, and a cute fish tank. A great place to take an escape from downtown Portland! We came here on a Saturday evening to enjoy happy hour food and drinks. Service was quick, accommodating, and efficient; however, our large party did have to wave them down a few times for missing table settings and placing additional items. We ordered quite a large variety from the HH menu to share among ourselves. The table favorites were takoyaki and okonomiyaki fries. I also enjoyed the HH Larb Poke tuna but the portion size was a little small and not very filling. I decided to order the Spicy Seoul Chicken Bowl as well. The chicken pieces were breaded similar to their chicken karaage, which I thought was interesting. The sauce was quite flavorful and had a nice spice level, vegetables tasted fresh as well. All their drinks were very creative and the ingredients paired nicely with the cocktail.
google avatar

Jamie C.

Yelp
5 bite size of chicken with the orange chicken dish to-go. Skimp doesn't even describe it. I know inflation is a thing right now but 15$ for 5 bite size chicken pieces is not even right. Was not even good and will not be back.

Yelp
So I stopped by on a Monday night with my friend. We actually intended to meet at the Pine Street Market, but it was super sad...almost all the vendors had closed. So we rallied, and found this place just around the corner. It was also very quiet, and we were seated immediately. The service was friendly and efficient. The interior is well-appointed and large, with several instagrammable spaces. We arrived before 6PM, and they let us know that happy hour was still going. There were several happy hour options, and my friend tried one. Honestly, watch out for spice/heat levels; His food was *super* spicy, and he had a hard time enjoying it. I think he might have given a 2 or 3-star. I had a spicy korean chicken bowl (see photo). It was sort of like bibimbap, although the chicken was sweet and breaded and fried, almost like the consistency of orange chicken at panda express (but, certainly, higher quality). It was good, but not the authentic bibimbap bowl I would have preferred. They had a good selection of beers on tap, and also some cocktails. My friend had a negroni, which was presented well. I had a Pfriem pilsner, which is always a good option. I was on the fence between 3 and 4 stars. Ultimately, their friendly service, good location, and my commitment to that part of downtown, are going to result in a 4-star. I'd like to try some other food there to get a better sense for it.

Yelp
Swing by Buranko for the casual meet up with your buddy. An uncrowded esthetically unique setting unlike your mainstream PDX decor. Spacious to enjoy a conversation on your own without being overheard with others too close. Service was friendly and very well mannered, pairing well with the cafe setting. Food ~ you will leave hungry. Portions are tiny and the prices is not tiny. Additional topping of Soft Shell Crab was almost non existent but not forgotten on the bill. Hawaiian Pork lunch plate was a fusion version that was more a small bite. Toddler playpad area is fun for the toddlers. Buranko an excellent spot for parents who want to enjoy a an upscale atmosphere with a spot for little ones to release their energy. Asian fusion, yes. Yelp categorizes here as Korean (which brought us here) but arguably not really. Howbeit it was a spirited surprise not expecting such a place perfect for drinks another time.

Yelp
Wow, what a dinner. Great play area for the kids, delicious food, highly recommend. Ramen, orange chicken, the pork, teriyaki chicken, and the Seoul chicken bowl were all amazing. We'll be back!

Diane A.

Yelp
The food and drinks were so yummy! The huge topper for this gem is the kid friendly atmosphere wi the play area. Between the play area and the trams going by every few minutes it made our dinning experience superb. They are certainly prepared for children here with the play area and children's dinning-ware. I feel like every food place that has a play area or a play area with food slack on play or food quality. Not this place! Great toys and books and great food and drinks! Best dinning outing since having a baby. The service was great too.

Yelp
The Million Dollar is the closest to heaven I've been in a long time. I've had it in the restaurant and had it delivered, both experiences were astonishing.

Yelp
I love Korean food, but this place has upscale decor and delicious drinks to boot. Wonderful part of town to visit and walking distance to lots of inter fun spots. The next time I'm in Portland, I plan to return here.

Yelp
Yummy food in great ambiance Favorite part: Pinktini drinks + Galbi is my favorite meal. And if you call ahead then you can request the cool basket chairs which I always do ( check out photos) Wish would improve: Parking is difficult to find here near Waterfront so be prepared. I recommend the Public Parking SP+ 95 SW Pine St to pay fee but safeish area. Overall: My literal favorite place to bring friends and family who want a fun Portland dinner spot with cool aesthetic inside and yummy food.

Yelp
Clean, beautiful, great vibe, tasty food, good portions, play area, full bar, street parking, cool spot!

Yelp
I'm in town visiting from Dallas Tx. I walked by this cute place and was like damn dude I'm high, I'm starving let's try it out. I ordered a tamarind Marg 10/10 so much flavor in a drink. I ordered two appetizers the wontons and the teriyaki dumplings I inhaled all of it 10/10 would slam again. I then tried the seasonal spicy Seoul chicken bowl and it was the best thing I've ever eaten. I can't explain how great of a vibe this place is. 10/10 will never forget this meal.
google avatar

Mike E.

Yelp
Great food and awesome play area for kids. Can't recommend it highly enough for parents with a two year old :). Aside from the excellent atmosphere, the food options are varied and tasty. I've leaned more on the Korean side thus far and haven't been disappointed.

James C.

Yelp
Service was great but food was bad. Buranko's Korean soy garlic chicken will make the Korean fried chicken get a bad reputation and soft shell crab pad Thai as well.
google avatar

Sarah N.

Yelp
Yummy and cute place! They even have a kid play corner which is every moms dream. Service is always excellent and food is delicious!
google avatar

Jenni A.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place and it did NOT disappoint! I really enjoyed everything! We ordered pan-fried gyoza, braised pork with basil, beef bulgogi, chicken kare, and mango with sticky rice. The chicken katsu in the kare and the mango with sticky rice (with perfectly-cooked glutinous rice) were especially delicious! I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and thought the service was decent, as well. I will definitely back to try more dishes here!
google avatar

Hannah L.

Yelp
This place was so cute and yummy! The aesthetic was so charming and fun to look at, including a children's play area. I ordered the curry and crab wontons and both were so richly full of flavor and filling. It wasn't busy and the host was very friendly and kind. 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
I've been avid fan of Phat Cart back in PSU college days, and noticed they had another business close to Saturday Market. Decided to stop by to warm up and get some fresh poke. I ordered monochrome (charcoal and cream) which tastes like it looks - Oreo. This sweet beverage saved my tongue, as poke was quite spicy! All the past spicy poke I've had had been mild. So this was a surprising intensity... I couldn't finish. Which is not the fault of the establishments, as I got the happy hour discount, so didn't come with rice to diffuse the heat. It's a spacious dimly lit, many tables for pair or family, and even a play area for little ones. Large window let's in light and plants look very happy, as does the customers. Aquarium by the comfy couch is also very popular. Need to come back and get something that's not spicy for me to enjoy the food next time~

Yelp
Absolutely love this place, I've been twice--ironically enough both for birthdays. Went just the other day with a big group of 9 (this place is great for big groups) and got sat at a nice big table. The restaurant has a nice interior that feels upscale but casual. We ordered a variety of foods, I got the soft shell crab pad Thai special and LOVED it. Best Pad Thai I've had in awhile (and I've tried almost every pad Thai in Portland at this point). During my last visit I had the bulgogi beef bowl, quite good. We also had a number of cocktails on the menu, our favorites were the pinkitini, mojito!!! , and it's all pink drink. All were very unique, super fun, and delicious. I got so many comments on my instagram asking where the cocktails were from! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night and even made a special cocktail for the birthday guest--on the house. Everyone at the table agreed that the food was fantastic and service was amazing!! Top tier atmosphere, food, and service. Will be returning to show more friends how great this spot is!

Anna A.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance with very well executed food presentation and amazing quality. Top that off with very friendly attentive service and you have a fantastic option for an excellent experience. Also, someone posted that there is a kids area - which there is - and apparently it can get pretty kid-loud on the weekends. 100% no toddler vibes while here after 6PM, just delicious food & bev in a lovely atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
They had a decent happy hour. Not the best but food is amazing! Service is so quick but depending on the day Otherwise vibe inside was so so so nice

Yelp
If you like Asian Fusion, this is THE Place! Every one of our dishes was expertly prepared to release all of the flavors of the Asian palette. All of your favorite flavors are here, from the peppers to the lemon grass. We're traveling here for work and were really hoping to find something delicious and Buranko answered. A local nearby recommended it so my impression is that it is a local favorite also.

Yelp
This place is great. I've been 3 times this last month already. The ramen dishes are really tasty, super impressed with the Daikon radish soup as well! Only one menu item comes with it, and it's worth it to order the crispy chicken just so you can have this little cup of goodness on the side.

Blessie V.

Yelp
This is a cool spot! My friend suggested we meet here when I went to visit her in Portland, and first off, it was my aesthetic! I loved the basket chairs and the indoor plants. Their menu was my taste as well. I got to try- *cheesy crab wontons ($8): stuffed well, full of cream cheese flavor, and not too oily at all *tofu larb gai thod ($14): a nice, light, lunch meal. Was expecting a little more flavor, but it still tasted good. *soft shell crab pad Thai ($19): pretty tasty! Overall, I was pleased with my experience here; I'd try other things next time. Street parking is available, as well as a paid lot a block away.

Yelp
Super fun and cute place in a convenient location downtown! They are open for very long hours, making it a fun place to meet up with friends any time of the day. They even have an area for kids to play if you bring your kids. Food: 4.5/5 I tried their vegetarian bibimbap bowl with an egg in it and it was delicious. The tofus were very crispy and I loved all of the toppings. I came here for lunch so I didn't get a drink but I wish I had. They had all kinds of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) that looked really good, including teas and coffees. Decor: 5/5 The decor here makes you want to stay all day. Lots of cute "buranko" style chairs. They also have bar seating as well and large tables if you come with a group. Service: 5/5 Very friendly and fast service. Food came out fast. The cafe was also kept neat and clean. Parking: 3/5 It's right on the Max line. If you come by car, they have a parking lot right next to the cafe, but it costs money. Otherwise, street parking, which also costs money.

Really cute shop with with tasty eats. We didn't stay too long and just ordered to go, but it was a nice and clean space with plenty of string lights, fish tank, and plants to go around to liven up the space. Ordered the galbi bowl and really enjoyed it. The galbi was tender and and had great flavor. The rice was cooked well and the kimchi and zucchini were great palate cleansers and crunch to each bite. Would get the bowl again! The menu is a mixture of Korean/Japanese/Thai cuisine. It was great to see they had vegan and special entrees that seem to rotate - will need to try the fish fries, soft shell pad thai, sweet roti, and bulgogi.

Yelp
Service was great. The atmosphere was nice. The good was just meh. My husband liked his basil pork, but my dish was not great. The kimchee was soggy. The fried chicken was tough and it was just smothered with gochugang sauce. I do not recommend it. I don't think I'm curious enough about their other menu items to come check them out again. Nice place though.

Yelp
The interior is super cute. I normally don't care too much but I actually thought it was worth noting for those who like to eat in pretty places with fish tanks, comfy couches, natural wood and lots of different sized tables for couples or big tables for large groups. Parking as everywhere in Portland is available along the street but there's also a parking lot a single crosswalk away. On to the food: Went there for the Tom kha ramen because I've had a thousand ramens and Tom kha soup countless times but never together and was very curious. It was strange but deliciously comforting with a generous amount of shrimp. Very filling and the chicken gyoza was standard but cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty. My dining partners got the specials, chicken curry and Tom kha ga which they both loved. MOST MEMORABLE DISH: No matter what you do, save room or make room for the roti with condensed milk. I didn't take a picture and it's not photogenic as it looks a bit plain but the dessert needs a new name... Billion dollar sweet roti? Savory, buttery, flaky, sweet and melt in your mouth. One of the best desserts I've ever had hands down. I think everyone should give this place a try. It doesn't seem busy so for those still unsure, it's ideal for a night when you have a last minute night out and don't know where to go.

Yelp
My family and I went there this weekend. The food and the ambience were both great. Service was awesome, and it was very kid friendly. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great value and good portion for a lunch option. Quickly made and delivered via DD on a weekday. Messed up the special instructions though. I ordered delivery via Door Dash. I scheduled for 11:45-12pm but they ended up making and delivering the order by 11:30pm. Normally early would be no problem but I set ahead to give me time to get to the delivery spot. Had to hustle over but driver ended up leaving it at the front desk. I ordered the Larb Poke Tuna. It looked great in the pictures and was labeled gluten-free. I wasn't sure about the vinaigrette, so I asked for it on the side just in case and no onions. The portion was a good size for lunch, and a great deal considering other similar places downtown have bowls or meals at $21+ for lunch. Definitely a great value for the money. (See my picture) Somehow my ask for the dressing on the side turned into dressing on the side AND on the dish. It was flavorful but quite spicy. I like spicy but if you don't, beware. Thankfully no onions though. The Thai Iced Tea was solid but with a lot of ice. I feel like I gulped it in no time. Next time: I'll try a different bowl but with clearer special instructions.

Yelp
Super cute spot for a lunch or dinner date! My friends and I got the shrimp linguine, tuna poke, and fried chicken special - all which were delicious with amazing flavor. Their matcha drink was also solid, might I say even better than some coffee shops I've been to. Overall great service and lovely vibes, I'll definitely be coming back here again to try more off their menu! :)

Yelp
One of my favorite spots during my visit to Portland city area. I love Korean food, and this is certainly one of the better beef bulgogi's that I've had! I highly recommend dining in because the restaurant itself has a super cool interior. 10/10 on chairs if you get the window seats (iykyk). I also would be remiss not to mention their wide drink selection and the lovely service! Gotta give it a try for yourself!
