"Calling Burford Garden Centre a garden centre is an understatement. It’s an emporium of tufted Moroccan rugs and chocolate in nice tins, with an all-day cafe that’s set up like a canteen—just one that’s had an extreme glow-up. You might spot the odd minor Cotswolds celebrity next to a serene 60th birthday breakfast, or a Schöffel-clad couple enjoying soup and a catch-up. The seasonal British food at this Burford spot is similarly House & Garden photo shoot-ready: juicy slabs of grilled chicken, tagine humming with cumin and sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, and a dessert fridge that demands a second and third look. The twinkling chandeliers make prosecco with your salad feel like a sensible choice for lunch." - sinead cranna

It’s huge and has an incredible selection of gourmet produce, plants, beauty products, home decor, and more. I could spend hours here, but I really enjoyed my time exploring. Their cafe and seating area are also lovely and airy. Didn't try much of their food, but their gelato was nice and very reasonably priced. A must visit in the area!

Google
One of the best garden centre in the UK, with many rarely found brands and decent stuffs that you couldn’t see in any other garden centres. There’re so many species of flower bulbs that again is quite hard to find outside. This is quite a good point to visit. Cafe is decent and price is reasonable.

This place just keeps going! Plants, kitchen, bath, clothing, patio furniture, books… In the book store area you can even buy genuine ancient bronze and Roman relics. This is a high end shop.

Ive been coming to Burford Garden Centre for over 16 years. Its a beautiful place to escape to and see beautiful things. I’ve spent many £s over the years. Although no recognition for loyalty of customer. Service varies. There are a number of wonderful staff who have been part of BGC for some time and always make the experience worth it. They’ve watched my well behaved children grow into young adults and are always kind. Sometimes its a bit hostile and i would say predominantly in the cafe. Ive had a couple of interactions with the cafe Manager - all of which made me feel like he was talking down to me or didnt value my custom. Today the cafe Manager told me i could not plug my computer in to charge it because its a trip hazard for young children. Im in the corner as you can see with no where for kids to go! Strange. He regularly makes me feel unwanted and im a polite well dressed 51 year old! Such a shame.

Fantastic! 1st visit and too much to appreciate in one session so will return soon with a plan - particularly as there were no dogs and their self entitled owners getting in the way of some proper retail R&R. Not cheap, but some really well curated items across the garden section, Deli and indoor/homewares - I’m a fan…

Amazing place to go and relax - just walking through the indoor plants area is really joy giving, and all the beautiful home decorations and furnishings make you feel like you’re walking through an Interiors magazine. The food hall has carefully curated selections of delicious healthy products - each one a possible gift - and an amazing new Wellness section with natural products for boosting physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Great food and cakes in the cafe.

It's a really big Garden Centre. Infact I was unable to fully cover the length and breadth. So many items on display. It's really beautiful and well put together.

Yelp
If you're from around here, you already know how wonderful it is here. If you're from stateside like me, you don't. If you're spending the day in Burford, take the time to drive a few more minutes to stop by the Burford Garden Company. It is so much more than a plant store (though they do have plants a'plenty). There is an extensive selection of unique clothing items for both men and women--outerwear, fashion items, and footwear are all available. There is a wonderful selection of intriguing decor items from brightly colored candles to gorgeous pottery to beautiful furniture. There's a particularly wonderful Christmas department as well--I found a charming Advent calendar and the cutest little cards to go on Christmas gifts. There's an amazing tea shop at which you can find delicious food items (hot and cold, sweet and savory--you name it!). It was exactly what we needed for lunch. Don't miss the food shops, either--they have an extensive selection of chocolates from around the world, traditional cakes and cookies, and a liquor store with a highly respectable selection of gin. Plenty of parking is available, the service is wonderful, and there really is something for everyone.

Yelp
One of the most amazing places I have ever visited. Perhaps it's because I am from the states and I have never seen a place like this! We loved the diversity and quality of the merchandise and plants. From the food to the garden shop, the party supplies to the toy store, it's a must visit when entering the Cotswolds!

Yelp
The parsnip was not shaved and raw. The beef and pork were cooked well, however the lamb wasn't. The lamb was taken home for the dog to eat. The kale was rubbery. I left the restaurant still hungry because the food wasn't cooked properly. You're much better off going to the Mermaid pub.

Yelp
great pace for variety and choice, but very expensive, lovely place set out wonderfully, fantastic things that unfortunately you don't see anywhere else, so you end up buying it eventhough it seems quite a lot. It has a restaurant and food area to buy produce and kitchen equipment and food. Lovely
