Burg Vital Resort

This resort is incredible. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We did a couple hikes with Georg and he was personable, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. If you’re looking for a place to unplug and enjoy some beautiful scenery this is definitely the place for you!

Everything about the burg vital is truly special. The hotel decor and grounds are amazing. The spa - world class. The rooms, fantastic. The food and wine - are truly top notch - include a 2 Star Michelin restaurant. But most of all, the staff are truly amazing. We had to cut our stay short by a day due to a death in the family. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The staff were also top notch during our stay. Whether it was the front desk, the restaurant staff, or the kids club staff, the staff courtesy and professionalism were spectacular. On the evening we learned we had cut our trip short, we dined at Griggler Stuba - the hotel’s fine dining, 2 star, option. Once we rearranged all our travel plans, we decided to keep the reservation rather than sit in our room all evening being sad and depressed. We had our (very well behaved) 8 year old daughter with us. From experience, some Michelin restaurants can be more accommodating to children than others, and staff member mentioned that they don’t often have young children as guests often, but that didn’t matter. Our daughter had her most enjoyable dining experience of her life. It was a very welcome distraction. She was able to watch the staff make a couple of our dishes and she even got to make a couple of petit four cookies with the pastry chef for herself. It’s possible our dining experience was given special attention as the staff knew of our need to change travel plans, but regardless, it was truly an unforgettable experience. A true congratulations to hotel ownership, management and hotel staff for running such a world class operation.

Burg Vital is a hidden gem! We had no idea what to expect and absolutely loved all of it. The fact it is family owned and managed, makes it so special and personal. After the second day, we felt as though we were part of the family! The food is over the top! From breakfast buffet to Griggerler Stuba (the best dining experience we have ever had). We got engaged during our trip and the team was SO special in sending a congratulatory amenity and everyone wishing us well. They really treat each guest as their own family. We cannot wait to return!

This is our sixth straight summer going to Burg Vital for a holiday. As always it was excellent. Food, wine, hotel, location. wellness, service all perfect. We had good weather as well so could enjoy some hiking as well as the lovely outside pool. ||Look forward to coming back again next year.

This was our second stay at Burg Vital and we enjoyed every moment. It is conveniently located close to the slopes, has all the facilities you would want, the staff are friendly and professional, the food is great and the wine list is extensive. We enjoyed a spacious room with a lovely view and a walk-in wardrobe which was useful. My only complaint about the room is the cramped shower. The spa is very nice and the Burg Hotel offers yoga and other wellness activities. To be recommended.

We spent a wonderful week at Burg Vital. The hotel is extremely well decorated and emanates a very warm, inviting and cozy atmosphere. The food is amazing and a lot of effort is put in to offer a different menu every evening. We really enjoyed spending some time after dinner in the beautiful lounge while listening to live piano music. The rooms are exquisite, well decorated and the beds are excellent. The service is absolutely impeccable, from the super friendly ladies at reception to the restaurant staff to the managers. Nothing was too much and I really appreciate the extra care and service given to us (special dietary requirements for our daughter, late check-out, assisting with walking gear etc.). We certainly will be back as this is truly a very special place!

We have waited many years to get a reservation at this wonderful hotel for our half term ski holiday, and it did not disappoint. Fabulous, spacious rooms, delicious food and, best of all, impeccable service.||||The concierge managed to get us a guide at short notice, despite all the ski schools telling us that there were non available. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. I would particularly thank the sommelier who never put a foot wrong. ||||This is a top class hotel in an amazing ski resort. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent service in fantastic four star hotel. A bit pricey but well worth it. Perfect accommodations for a ski outing. Lifts at hotel door.
