Burger 7

Every year we’ve been having a burger & shake after marathon in Burger 7 in Alexandria. This time decided to try this location and the food wasn’t great, unfortunately. Burger was decent at best, fries were soft, tenders were greasy… guys, I know you can do better!

This was my first time trying Burger 7 in Falls Church. You can order everything from a classic burger to their imaginative Levant burger that is made with two beef patties, American cheese, caramelized onions, coleslaw and topped with potato fries. The establishment also offers chicken sandwiches that can be prepared fried or grilled. The stand out for me was the Butter Chicken sandwich which takes those classic Indian flavors and puts them on a bun. So so good!! And no burger meal is complete without a milkshake and the there definitely is a variety to choose from. If you’re interested in trying something different, try the Balklava or Nutella milkshake you will not be disappointed.

I happened to visit this place on recommendaction of a friend. I ordered Buffalo chicken sandwich/burger and she ordered a Jr cheese. Our order came very quickly it was like 6.30 pm and the shop had one other customer besides us. The burgers were reasonably good, spice was next to none in Buffalo but was a nice warm crispy tangy Patti,fries were good but on the salty side.However, the real problem kicked in with the 3 burgers I took home for my family. I ordered 3 fries 2 Buffalo same as mine and one no 6 which was a crispy chicken sandwich on recommendaction of the guy who was serving me. As soon as I reached home ,which is like a 20 min drive, I notice that the burgers are burnt. The patties were litterally like choclate .And husband's pattie was like coal. Fries were not salty but so salty that one had to spit it out. I was hugely disappointed, so rang the shop. I must have rang about 6 times but gave up as didn't have the energy to go back and drive 20 mins as it is past 8 now. Please look at the pictures and decide your self. I spent nearly 50 dollars on burnt burgers. No one deserves this. No one! Avoid bring food home at all costs. Try to eat in the shop so ypu can confront them when they burn your food. The girl who was making my stuff knew she had screwed up because she quickly put my stuff in bag and avoided eye contact. I DONOT RECOMMEND THIS BRANCH IN FALLS CHRUCH FOR TAKE OUT. Although, the dine in experience was otherwise.

Friendly staff, nice seating arrangement. The burger was grilled to perfection. If it’s good enough for Jules Winnfield..

Their burgers are actually decent. The food is just way overpriced. It's better going to a Dave's Hot Chicken or a more known chain. A small chicken sandwich for $11 with no side or drink. That's a whole combo in other restaurants. I'd only recommend if you're in the area and need a bite quick.

I ordered delivery last night of a order of fries, a hot dog, and a B7 cheeseburger. Everything was cold although I paid for my delivery to be first. The fries were overcooked and dry as well as the burger. The hot dog looked horrible and I didn't even eat it or the fries and only half of the burger.

Food is made quick & is very delicious. Only thing I would say is burgers don’t come with fries so make sure you order that separately.

It's alright. There are too many burger places. This could be a good problem, but none of them differentiate. This is why Burger 7 in my opinion, is average and like the others. Their special sauce is ok, but what's truly special about it? Also this is a little on the pricey side. I will give them this, the restaurant is immaculate. Always like a clean eating place. Also I'd like to say thank you to their very friendly staff. Their customer service is A plus. You will feel valued here. My hope is the corporate side has some new ideas. Give it a try to see, and hope they can create new innovations!

Food really great!! People complaining of prices here don't realize what the rent is in falls church. Product is good, people are nice and friendly. Deserves a higher review!

Burger 7 is awful. I went in last night on July 9th because I keep getting ads on Facebook for promotions. One was for a $5 burger on Tuesday's and the other was for a free ice cream with purchase. As you can see from the pictures, the $5 burger was on the website today, and the ice cream special was on their fb page today as well. Yet they refused to honor either promotion. I asked for a manager, but they said none was there. So instead they called someone name Ahmed who said the burger promotion is over. I asked why it was still on the website, and why was I still getting ads for it. He had no answer. So I said, well what about the free ice cream offer that was just posted that morning. Again, he said no. This is deceptive advertising, and someone should look into these practices. Now I know why the place is always empty. I will not return.

I enjoy the changing menu at this Burger 7 which is located in the Idylwood Plaza on Route 7 (which has the Whole Foods Market). The classic is the B7 burger with a special sauce. For 2022, they introduced a new menu with chicken sandwiches (I tried their new spicy chicken which was very good - but not as tasty as Chik-Fil-A). On the plus side, you can easily find a parking spot in the wide lot even on weekends. It's air-conditioned inside with menus that have pictures of the items you are ordering. On the minus side, prices seem too high for the French fries and onion rings. For example, my 14 year old son had a small order of French fries ($4.99 for about 10 fries). We didn't order drinks but my son got an Oreo milkshake for $6.99 and a B7 burger. Overall, I would recommend a visit here to try their burgers and chicken sandwiches. But be prepared to spend $15 for lunch unless you avoid the fries and drinks.

Seven was in this radical strip mall of random businesses and they were open right when I was all for it! The burger was straight up what I needed at that point as it had fries on it that fried egg and some sauce making for part of the breakfast lunch phase of delicious combinations! Their onion rings were also yummy and super hot right when we got them making for crispy goodness with that mixed up burger! Overall this was a mellow spot to grab a burger it was yummy but a little bit expensive for what it all was but either way it was some food that day!

They sent 2 burn hot dogs with no toppings.When I called them they had no resolution and laughed and stuttered crap food

Ever since first trying this place, i've been coming back more and more. The dude is always super friendly, and the food comes out quick. The wraps are always hot, packed with meat, and delicious. And the shakes are some of the best I've had around here. When I asked what falafel was because I've never tried it, he offered to make me one to try so I could get it next time if i liked it. The ambiance is cool, it has a good vibe and is nice to eat in and sit for a bit. It's got a super cool mural on the wall too that looks like a comic book page. I don't understand why this place isn't crowded every time I'm here.

This place used to be really good when the Hispanic girls cooked. Now there's an angry looking guy that burns the burgers and he's always in the back so you have to wait for service.

Don't let the small bun fool you. These are big fat burgers. The crispy chicken sandwich was spot on. Crunchy chicken and caramelized onions, yum! The double cheeseburger ... that one was a mistake ... because it was too big :) . I could only finish half the burger. Should have gotten a single patty. But it reheated the next day surprisingly well. Definitely plan on visiting again. Sorry no photos. Started eating as soon as food arrived. And once you start eating these ... photos are not appealing ... these are messy burgers. Nom nom.

The best burger in the area I love #9 I believe it's called the shroomy, I normally ask them to add barbecue sauce in it. That combo right there is the bomb! Definitely my favorite! Their meat feels very fresh and healthy unlike other greasy burgers in the area! Give them a try for sure there's nothing to regret.

I went to this place when it first opened years back. I recently went back and I am utterly disappointed. I was there on 10/21/2024. I ordered the #1 with fries and a soda. I left and went to a business meeting at Tysons 2. I opened the burger up and took a bite and immediately felt something tasted off. It was an edible burger that was not cooked. Both burger patties were completely pink inside. My friend who I was with is an ER physician and advised me not to eat the burger. I called Burger 7 back up right away and told them that the burger was inedible and I want a refund. I was told I would get a refund but nothing has been refunded. I am so annoyed because this place was a good spot and highly recommended. I will never go back to this spot. The person(s) cooking the burger need to be trained properly on cooking but also asked how they want their burger prepared neither of which was done for my order.

No frills burger spot with great food. I generally always find burgers to be too salty, but this place managed to avoid that. Will be back to try the milkshake/burger combo!

I got a B7 Burger and fries from here one day for lunch. The staff was quick and swiftly had my food ready, it was delicious!

I needed a good burger and I got an amazing one. I don't got the #4 ("Shroomy") which is essentially the patty melt. Delicious! Food came out fast. Place has a charming colorful decor. Chill vibes. One thing I will say: it's Halal, so expect beef bacon instead of pork. Nbd unless you're picky like me. Small price to pay.

I was disappointed in my visit to Burger 7. For the price, the food quality and quantity was not there. When we walked on in at about noon on a sunny Sunday, there was no where there but the staff. The floor was wet and had a bucket there to catch water dripping from the ceiling. We noticed the high price but the kids were hungry, so I caved to them and ordered. I ordered a build your own hamburger. 1 patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, 7 sauce, etc. The burger came out dry, there was barely any lettuce, and it was small in size. I also ordered the small fries. For the same price, I could have enjoyed the burgers and fries at 5 Guys. It would have been tastier, more food, and a better experience. I ordered nuggets for the kids. Again, I would have gotten so much more nuggets elsewhere and tastier ones as well. The men's restroom had no toilet paper and didn't look very clean. I don't think I will be coming back again. It is just not worth it. Not tasty, nor much food.

I ordered delivery through ubereats and was impressed with the food! After a long day at work I wanted something a little greasy and not necessarily good for me, so burgers were my go to! We got onion rings, mac and cheese bites, and a cheeseburger. Everything hit the spot! The mac and cheese bites were pretty basic, i'm sure if they were fresher I would have loved them but that's the price you pay with ordering delivery. The burger sauce was super yummy, I would definitely go back again and try different items!

I ordered a burger and onion rings. The taste was decent but I paid $5.99 for five crazy onion rings. I know prices are going sky ricing but this is ridiculous !

I used to come to Burger 7 when I first moved to NoVa but hadn't come in the past few years with the lockdowns. Was craving burgers and dogs and it really hit the spot for me and my family today. They seem to have done some work and changed up the menu since I was here last.

We came here because everyone was craving some quality and halal burgers. We arrived around dinner time and the we were helped very quickly. The burgers were always delicious in the past. They have many options of burgers, chicken sandwiches and appetizers. The portions are reasonable and the flavor is always great specially with the B7 sauce. The burgers used to be much more juicer many years ago and now since they expanded to many locations they have become more dry. The buns also can not handle the burgers meat and fall apart before the burger is done specially if you put several toppings. I believe they used to be 5 stars about 7 years ago and now they are around 3 1/2 stars.

The grilled cheese was very disappointing. The bread was dry had no oil on it or grilled enough. The other burgers were ok.

My husband is on a low carb diet so that makes burger places an easy restaurant choice as so many offer bunless burgers. We have dined here before and had many good experiences. The fries are amazingly fresh and the milkshakes are also great quality. We like that they offer the lettuce wrap, however there was so much lettuce that my husband said he couldn't really taste the burger. This time my burger tasted very off. It reminded me of ground beef that had been microwaved as it has a very distinct flavor (not good). I have never experienced this before here, but we haven't dined here in awhile so I hope microwaving meat is not a new standard for them. My guess is that the employees defrosted meat in the microwave and left it in a little too long. The staff working were all very young, I advise management to not leave them unattended and to train them better. (And use fresh meat).

We Ordered A lot of food - Jawad didn't put any sauce not even napkins- Sad service - poor execution- Please make sure you state how many sauce you want, Obviously they don't understand- No napkins or sauces will be given unless asked. Pretty sad Jawad, sometimes common sense is needed

My first time visiting this place and I must say the burger did not look anything like the menu on the website, the patty was not as big as the picture and the grilled cheese sandwich cheese was not even melted at all, it is possible the guy cooking was just having a day as it was this evening and he was the only one there. The onion rings were goo i must say.

It was empty and food was not tasty at all! Overpriced burgers. Well located that's all! I will never come back again!

We stopped here on a whim. We were delayed on errands and didn't want to cook our meal, so we were passing by and went here. They are operating during COVID in a "grab and go" mode. Customers can order inside but cannot eat at their tables. They offer various burgers that differ based on their toppings. They also have non-meat options. We ordered a veggie burger and a falafel burger for take away. Both burgers were good. The falafel burger was thick and dry but that is the nature of falafels. I would definitely return.

Placed an order online for pick up. Burgers were overcooked, had no flavor and thin. Add ons were not as ordered. Tater tots and fries were cold. Only one employee present - he was cooking and being cashier...surely that was a contributing factor. Hey management - a one man band is insufficient. Not fair to him and not good for the customers. We are disappointed. BGR is just down the street - B7 just lost this customer.

This was my first time trying this place today and I can say that I will never ever return here. I placed my ordered through Uber eats for pick up. In the notes section I wrote that I wanted my sauce on the side. I also called the place and spoke to the person who picked up the phone and asked him to make sure that the order made for me had the sauce on the side for the burgers. He did not listen to me clearly, he kept repeating back things that I wasn't even saying being super rushed. Why are you so rushed? Not like you have people in the establishment under these circumstances. He just wanted to get me off the phone. Upon arrival my boyfriend walked inside and asked for our order. He noticed that none or the employees or the person at the register were wearing masks. Our order was also incorrect. The sauce was NOT on the side despite all my efforts to make this understood. Least go say this was disappointing and i will never return. They also do not follow any safety precautions as they are not wearing any masks or PPE when cooking. Stay away.

EXPENSIVE! Ordered a burger and onion rings--no drink, and total came to almost $16.00. Four ounce burger, and I must have been lucky because I got six onion rings instead of five like fellow reviewer, for $5.99! Taste wasn't anything special. Won't be back.

I came in with one of my friends for their promotion on Instagram. It was buy a burger with fries and follow them for a free burger. The worker assured us the promotion was valid but we couldn't get a free burger each but one free burger. That is fine and we ordered for dining in. We ended up receiving to go bags while others got a tray. The last problem was the free burger as promised wasn't even in the bag. This was a overall big disappointment.

No complaints. Decent sized burger, good taste, good price what more can you ask for? Would go again.

This is the only spot I go to for burgers! Every time, I have an out of town visitor and they want a burger I take them here. They are always satisfied and love that the meat is kosher! You have to try the wings and napkin fries!!! It is must! Customer service is exceptional and the owner genuinely cares for his customers!

This place is a joke. First time there and it will be my last. I ordered the falafel and it was literally a frisbee. So hard I could have thrown it at the wall and it wouldn't have broken. It shows they don't care about quality at ALL. I wish the place would take some pride in their food, as from other reviews their burgers are awful.

I go here sometimes when I want a veggie burger. Their veggie burgers are really good. I'm not a huge fan of the Tex mex veggie burger but I do like the veggie patty they have here so I build my own burger and it tastes delicious. I also LOVE their French fries and their sweet potato fried, they are my favorites. The lettuce wrap is "healthy" but it can be better, There's way to much lettuce on it. The lettuce isn't dried after they wash it so it makes the wrap really watery!! And it's basically pieces of lettuce topped with your toppings, meat and topped with more lettuce so it technically isn't a "wrap". And it's very messy to eat that it's not enjoyable cause it's watery and falls apart. The Bec burger has a lot of flavor. It's almost overwhelming. It has a beef patty, bacon, eggs, French fries, tomatoes, B7 sauce and whatever other toppings you want. It's not something we would try again- to many different flavors in one burger. The gelato panini- I don't recommend at all. The picture they had posted on the wall for advertisement was completely different from what we got. We basically got gelato on a burger bun. It tasted weird together. Not a good combination. I don't think it was supposed to be on a burger bun and if it was supposed to be they should try to change it. It wasn't something that I would try again or recommend. But If you build your own burger/sandwich here you will probably really like it. And their fries are great!

This is a hidden gem of a burger joint that offers an almost limitless combination of burger ingredients plus really fresh ingredients and quality grass-fed beef. The service is excellent as well! They get to know you by name if you're a regular, and they always get my order right. One of the tastiest burgers I've had in the area, and their napkin zone fries are awesome--a meal in themselves--worth sharing with a friend! I've tried a number of different items and never been disappointed. Plus their prices are pretty reasonable; the other major well-known burger chain (you know which I'm talking about, Guys) has gotten so very pricey that a family of four spends nearly $70 to eat there now, but at Burger 7 you can keep it under $10-12 per person and get a really enjoyable meal. Highly recommend it!

Burger 7 was okay. I ordered the B7 burger with pickled jalapeños, caramelized and mushrooms, along with the napkin fries, which are fries with chili, mac and cheese, grilled onions, and their signature b7 sauce. The burger was pretty good. Better than some places I've been to. The napkin fries were good, but not amazing. They look better than they taste. My girlfriend ordered a grilled cheese and small fries. The grilled cheese was really tiny, but the fries were good. The fries are comparable to that of Five Guys fries. The cashier (who I think was new) wasn't that great. She never really informed us about adding toppings to our sandwiches. I was fortunate enough to ask about the extra toppings for my sandwich before my order was placed. My girlfriend, on the other hand, wasn't as fortunate. Her puny grilled cheese would've probably been better with some of the free toppings we didn't know about until after she placed her order. But I'll give the cashier the benefit of the doubt and say that she was new and didn't know the system to well, or to offer additional toppings to sandwiches. Whatever the case may be, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

I actually ate at Jason's deli next door but after I was eating I went into Burger 7 to sit with the rest of my group. I tried a friends Mac and cheese bite and they were delicious. Burgers smelled good. Sorry, that's all my review is based on. Clean restaurant.

I normally don't leave reviews but this was one of the worst burgers I have eaten. The bun was massive and the patty was so thin and burned all the way through. The soda machine didn't work. The where out of cups. They didn't have sweet potato fries in stock. Shocked the business is operating as a franchise while they don't keep up to franchise standards. We will not be going back.

Are the burgers usually this dry here or did I get the wrong kind? We ordered the shroom burger and the texas burger. Both were very dry, the buns and everything else was very oily. We ordered extra sauce on the side but still... The ingredients didn't seem to go well together or maybe cooked well. We didn't like the milkshakes either. Extra sweet, thick but not like the good kind. We ended up throwing some out, still willing to give it another try because we went at 11pm, so maybe its better during lunch time?

The food is good but it is over priced! I wish there was a meal option instead of having to pay everything separately.

At first I was ambivalent about this place, but the menu item that won me over is not even a burger, it's the grilled cheese. Thick-cut bread, not too greasy, perfect toastiness to compliment the rich gooey cheese. The burgers are okay, while the fries always seem to be overdone and too brown. Pricing seems a bit high, too. In any case, order the grilled cheese.

This was good but I wish I could have tasted the meat more. Our mac and cheese bites were burned and not very flavorful so we traded them in for tator tots which were better. I took a pic of the meat so you can see how thin otherwise it's good though.

I've lived in walking distance from this place for almost a year now and haven't eaten here once. If only they offered either Hebrew National brand hot dogs (so much better, can't switch back) or Impossible / Beyond Burgers.... Until then I'll either make my own hot dogs or buy meatless burgers elsewhere.

You must be crazy if you are not eating here. Tonight was our second visit and the gentleman working the counter was extremely friendly, talked through the menu, and made great recommendations. The milkshakes and chicken wings were amazing. Huge wings. Great selection of burgers and toppings.

Burger 7 has recently updated its menu since I last been back and I'm glad! They have added plenty more options not only can you grab a scoop of gelato after having your burger but now you can grab a side of tater tots or wings or a salad? You bet! Burger 7 isn't your typical burger joint. It's not trying to be a smash burger or a five guys. Burger 7 has its own unique take on fast food burgers. With the new items on the menu Burger 7 has improved the taste of their food too. The fries are fresh and crispy. The tater tots were a wicked surprise fresh crunchy and crisply! The burgers still take great. With more items to custom your burger with there is something for everyone to have their own unique burger. On avg. a meal for one person is about 10.50. It's not too bad for what you pay for. And if you have room they have desert options gelato, milkshakes, oh and this new thing they call a gelato panini. I can't wait to try the panini next! Till next time I can't wait till I have another juicy and savory burger at Burger 7! *also I want to mention that the burgers here are halal! :D

I have to stop here anytime I'm in the area as its one of my favorite burger joints. The beef is organic and grass fed giving it a very earthy fresh taste. You can customize your burger to your liking and they have many toppings to pick from. I usually get a double patty with a bunch of toppings, only problem is that it slips out of the burger. Fries were a little overcooked.

This place used to be so good. Now it's really bad. Soda bachi was is always out of order. We got beef and one chicken sandwich. For crispy check sandwich it was those Mc chicken fake minced chicken patty. They charged $10 for it. For soda can they charged 2.50!!! Are you kidding me? The place is falling apart. I hope the close down soon

Their single burger patties look nothing like the photo on their home page. I got one today. It was flat and crisp around the edges--terrible! Their French fries were spongy, flaccid. I will never go back. I think the two-star rating was generous. I only gave it because they have lots of toppings you can request with your burger.
