Burger & Company - East Nashville, TN

Been hearing a lot about this place so I went to check it out. We placed our order and I ordered the luigi burger and cheese curds my partner in grime got the smoked gouda and hot tots. The cashier was friendly and patient. She over heard my partner saying that she didn't like hot tots and wanted the curds and me saying I didn't care but didn't comment on it. Also didn't ask what temp we wanted our burgers so I assumed they were gonna be smash patties. Took about 12 minutes to get the food solid cook time for a craft and scratch kitchen. When we got the food they had replated the order to give my partner the cheese curds she so desired and this moment was worth 5 stars for the service. The burgers were well done 😲 🫨 🫢 So a bit dry luckily for me the Luigi had a ton of jam and sauce on it so it wasn't unbearable and the flavors were good but certainly not a juicy burger like you would get from pharmacy, ml rose or burger republic. Unfortunately the smoked gouda had a thicker aioli on it which made enjoying it truly difficult. The cheese curds were..solid but nothing to write home about the ones at Von El rods, cookout and burger republic are way better. The breading is certainly unique but the flavor wasn't quit there and they should probably cook them longer. The atmosphere was kind of modern hole in the wall esque. You order at the counter take a number and wait for your meal. Not a ton of interaction after you order so if you're feeling antisocial this might be a good spot for you. Also on a low budget date night this could be a good choice with not a ton of alcohol options on the menu you can see if they're just trying to use you for a drink....and you can respond accordingly 😉 All in all a solid burger joint in East Nashville but are these the best burgers In town? If you're only in Nashville for one burger I'd still recomend Pharmacy in East over this spot...so it's hard to say they have the best burger in the city when they don't even have the best burger in 5 points (that would be Emmy squared )or the best burger in East Nashville (that would be pharmacy burger) but if you're a local or trying to feed yo kids in the neighborhood this is a great option. Just don't expect the world.

Great burger place at 5 points. So very clean with a very happy staff that takes a personal interest in the customer. I had the Bot burger with spicy tots and it was served hot 🔥and was amazing. The dirty monkey shake (booze included) was also stellar. They have a selection of local beers in cans to choose from which is great. Support local businesses.

This place recently opened and was a new addition to the food tour we went on, so you know it's good! The sample burger and fries were fantastic! It had bacon, bree cheese and some kind of balsamic jam, along with a few other ingredients. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had! They even treated us to lots of chocolate chip cookies. Oh, and the decorations on the walls were pretty cool. Nice outdoor seating if you prefer. Go check them out!

have some very unique burgers, and are very delicious! got the luigi burger didn’t know if id like because of the strawberry jalapeño jam but it was sooo good! tati (not sure if it’s spelled right) is very nice and helpful. love the upstairs seating. the whole place is a vibe, will be returning!!

Love the layout of the place - Also the extra seating upstairs. Plenty of space to meet up with friends for conversations and nicely prepared meal. Burgers are well made and fresh. Love the Hot Tots - they are delicious. The service is excellent.

The environment is very welcoming and clean. Staff very friendly and attentive. The menu behind the order counter is huge and simple so it’s very easy to order. They do serve beer so you can enjoy a cold one with your meal. I ate the BC Bleu Burger that came with an onion jam and Bleu cheese. I felt like the cheese had more of a Roquefort profile but I love strong and stinky cheeses so it was delightful. The fries are shoestring fries (my favorite) and are seasoned with their house made rosemary seasoning. They have a passport card you can get punched for each of the 12 main items resulting in a reward. I got my first punch so I’ll be going back for the rest.

Loved every bite! We had the smoked gouda burger and the bacon jalapeno burger and both were extremely delicious. The french fries and tater tots are on point. The staff was extremely friendly and the interior is clean and modern with an upstairs that provides some views of 5 points. We will be eating here weekly!

Loved our "Imposter" burgers with fresh Impossible 'meat.' The shoestring fries were perfectly cooked, and the fried cauliflower was delicious. Do make note that their BC Sauce is kinda spicy. Loved the location, the clean & airy vibe, but mostly loved the staff, who go out of their way to help.

Really great addition to the dining scene around Five Points -- hits the mark for a burger that is elevated and unique but not *too* fancy (think along the lines of Shake Shack but better!), and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The basic BC Burger is perfectly portioned and delicious; clearly high-quality beef and a wonderful bun, and BC Sauce adds just a little creamy zip. We also love both the shoestring fries and the fresh fried cheese curds -- as a Wisconsin native, I can honestly say the curds hit the spot! There is a good amount of seating on the main level and upstairs, and a few tables outside with a bigger patio on the way soon!

Very tasty spot - popped in for our Secret Food tour of East Nashville. Great burger with brie, caramelized onions, and spicy sauce. I mean it won a burger award for a reason. You definitely need to check this spot out. Great beer and kombucha selections too with plenty of local brews.

Always great service and the food speaks for itself. The place has 3 tables outside for the pups To rest after a walk around the 5 points area. The restaurant boosts local ingredients which is great and appropriate for the local fellow business owners. The location has several spots for parking and street parking is also available. Another great addition to the 37206!

Stopped here today on a food tour and was very pleasantly surprised by this amazing burger. Despite being well done it was juicy, full of flavor and the cheese, bacon and jalapeño jam pushed it over the edge of amazing. The shoestring fries were salty, crispy and truly finger licking good. A must stop when in east Nashville.

Burger & Company is outstanding! I've been here four times with the family, and it's been consistently excellent on each visit. The fact that it has me coming back again and again speaks volumes! First off, the hamburgers are made with high-quality meat and ingredients. The buns are lightly toasted, which adds a special touch and takes the burger up a notch. The fries are thin and crispy but not greasy. It feels like a talented chef cooked your hamburger, with attention to every little detail. They've got a great selection of beers, milkshakes my son swears by, and premium sodas in many flavors. The restaurant is spick-and-span and has a modern vibe with plenty of seating options - downstairs, upstairs, and outside. They also have a parking lot. The building looks great, and the signage looks great. It doesn't jump out that it's a burger joint, but hopefully, word of mouth is enough to keep it busy. We met one of the owners behind the register and took our order. I learned that it's locally owned by a husband-and-wife duo actively involved in the day-to-day operations. This is very important and evident in the quality and presentation of the food, the customer service, and the consistency of the product. I highly recommend this place if you want great food in East Nashville!

This is probably the saddest news I've heard, my fav place ever has closed but believe me, I've already reached out and I WILL be at y'all's pop ups so please hmu when it's time

I've been coming to burger and company for over a year and it's by far my favorite burger in town. Their food is very consistent and their prices are great for a high quality burger. We love sitting upstairs in one of the booths. It's always clean and inviting. There's a server (don't know her name but she always has long pretty nails) who we normally see and she's always very fast and kind. I've seen her deal with a lot of crappy customers and she always diffuses the tension well. Cannot recommend more

Went for burger week and tried the Luigi, a mushroom & Swiss with a twist that was sooo good and unique. Service was quick and the waitstaff was friendly. They had great soda options too! I sat on the patio where they have live music a few times per week, and had a lovely time. Will return!

We came here today and I ordered BCQ Stuffed Burger (Beef patty stuffed w/bacon, & chives, topped w/BBQ sauce, house-made onion rings, American & Cheddar cheese) and my SO other got the BC Bleu Burger (Beef patty w/bleu cheese crumbles & balsamic onion jam). We both ordered BC Fries (Crispy fries seasoned with rosemary salt). I asked that the BCQ Stuffed Burger be cooked medium and my SO asked that his BC Bleu Burger be cook medium rare. Our patties were exchanged. He mentioned that his burger was slightly overcooked. The balsamic onion jam was more compote in terms of texture. When I bit into mine, the edges were burnt but the insides were slightly raw and uncooked, almost cool if not cold. The BBQ sauce was a bit on the sweet side and had a missing tang to it. As for the fries, we were unable to get a hit of the rosemary. The oil that was used, however, left an aftertaste. We like the partially liked the burgers. However, we did expect the orders to be correct and the meat cooked to the temperature that we asked.

Excellent food!! We ordered the BOT burger, BCQ burger, smoked Gouda burger, fried cheese curds and hot tots (pictured attached) omg everything was so delicious!! Definitely coming back here. This place is also the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to. The employees are very nice.

Walked up on this gem visiting Nashville for a game. The service was A+. We met owner Christy who was very friendly and amazing. The burger was juicy and fresh to be honest I wanted another one lol. They also had one of my favorite beers Kona big wave.

We had the chocolate milkshake and on a warm day it was a yummy treat. Super creamy and chocolatey.

The spot in Old Hickory was PERFECT! We have tried the new location, only 2 or 3 two person seating outside, next to no parking, pan handlers if you choose to sit outside. WOKEVILLE. If ya love WOKE this is the place for you...you will be surrounded by it. We used to frequent the Old Hickory Village location & loved it. No thanks. We will be eating burgers else where.

Finally stopped into Burger & Company and oh boy did it deliver the goods. Absolutely killer meal here, I tried the fried pickle burger which loaded up with toppings and had to be smooshed to fit a bite. Packed with the flavor or the meat and with a great crunch from the pickles this was a top tier burger. Accompanied by the Nashville hot tots which had a great spice but not overwhelming were the perfect side to complete this meal. Absolutely will be returning to try more from the awesome burger spot.

My girlfriend and I went early on a Saturday night and we left very happy. The jalapeño burger and fried pickle burger are next level good. Great meat, great bun, and the meat to bun ratio is perfect. Also, highly recommend the cheese curds. Staff is very cool and welcoming. I hope this place does well.

I got a burger and fries to go and the service was quick and friendly! I would definitely mark down the experience for the fact that my burger was definitely very overcooked. Everything else about it was great, but the meat was pretty flavorless because of how overcooked it was. I got the Gouda burger with fries! Although I got my order to go the shop overall was very cute and clean! I will definitely give it another chance and update my review when I do.

A hidden gem in East Nashville. I passed this establishment regularly on my daily commute. I deliver to these guys. Took me months to realize it was a burger spot. I had the Smoked Gouda burger, the pesto and grilled onions set it off. My lady had the BOT burger, she said the onion jam and brie cheese were the co-stars of the burger. Good quality meat. Hot tots and the cheese curds were also fire. We will definitely be back cause I want to try the BC Burger or the Bacon Jalapeño next. Excellent customer service!

Stopped in this afternoon! Owner is super friendly. Great staff. Fabulous burger. I had the fried pickle burger with lettuce bun - so so so good! My friends loved their meals as well...turkey burger and hot tots and fried cauliflower. We will be back! Great addition to the East Nashville community.

Excellent food, love that it's predominately organic! The owners are the nicest people- every time we've been in they are kind and friendly. Go support this local place--- and can we persuade you to come out to Franklin or Brentwood?!

Super tasty and cute little burger place! The sweet potato burger was so delicious. I would definitely go back just for that burger alone. The staff was also friendly and the place was clean. Overall, great fast casual place!

Delicious jalapeño burger and shoestring french fries. The hot tater tots aren't really hot, just heavily seasoned. Wasn't a huge fan of those. But I've been back multiple times for the burger and fries. Yum!

I don't write that many reviews on yelp but I had to go out of my way to write a review after tasting the burger at Burger & Company. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and it was absolutely Delicous!! I would go as far as saying one of the best I ever had. Great quality meat, juicy, fresh, and the bun was a little crunchy with a hint of buttery flavor. I enjoyed every single bite. This is a must try place if you are in the area. Needless to say, I will be going back again before I leave.

I've been wanting to try this place, and finally got the chance to go today, and I'm so happy I did. My burger was delicious! I had the "Imposter," no meat variety, and it was delightfully good. Tasted just as a burger should. And the skinny fries were spot on. Ate on the patio, which provides a great view for people-watching. I was not expecting the inside to be so cute! A+

I tried B&C unexpectedly in the five points neighborhood on a whim. I was surprised to enjoy one of the best burgers in recent memory. It tasted so homemade and nostalgic, like a culinarily inclined uncle's signature burger work. I had the stuffed bbq burger which was like a backyard bbq in each and every bite. Don't miss this place!

We found our new East Nash burger spot!!! Great service, ambiance, and food! Burgers, cheese curds, and tater tots were top notch! We enjoyed the BC sauce and the BC ranch on both the cheese curds and tater tots. We will be back soon!

After running a Spartan Super (10k) we were in need of some good food. Prior to our trip to Nashville I'd looked for restaurants because I like to be prepared and know my options and places that I can find food that fit my macros and lifestyle, in addition to, being delicious. Burger & Company will not disappoint. I had the smoked Gouda burger, added bacon, and got the hot tots. It was savory and hot the spot. Staff was so friendly and explained anything we wanted to know about the menu and house made sauces. Great atmosphere as well. The hot tots definitely have a kick to them but pair well with the BC ranch that comes with them. The house made pesto on my burger was nut free and flavorful. I'd definitely recommend this place over any chain restaurant. I love finding local spots. I'd read reviews that it can get crowded however we must have timed it just right midday as there was plenty of seating.

We were jonesing for turkey burgers and stumbled upon this relatively new East Nashville eatery yesterday. The menu was so extensive, and looked so good that I couldn't make up my mind. I asked the owner, Christy, what her favorite non-beef burger was. First she asked me if I preferred savory, or if I liked more of a blend of savory and sweet. I prefer savory, so she told me to get the Smoked Gouda Burger with Impossible Burger rather than beef. The bun was fresh and soft and the hand-formed burger was lovingly topped with smoked gouda, smoked nutless pesto and caramelized onions. It was love at first bite, and so delicious that after I shared a bite with my husband, we vowed to come back the very next day and get the same thing (his first was a turkey burger, but he got the smoked gouda the 2nd time around.) Joy! I should also make mention of the shoestring fries made with salt and fresh, crushed rosemary. Every bite of this meal was sublime, and the burger was the very best one I have ever tasted. Darse at the counter was extremely friendly, kind, and attentive. Christie, knowing we were visiting from out of town, gave us insider recommendations for other cool establishments to visit while we are here. Super nice people! If you want best burger of your life (I'm not hyping you!) make your next burger this one. You're welcome!

Delicious, affordable, and quick service with really nice owners and staff. We've been twice--first for beef burgers, and more recently for their vegetarian options. Burgers (and fries and tots) were amazing. We can't wait to go back!!

My wife and I tried burger & co for the first time last night. The fried pickle burger was great and the double cheeseburger had enough meat on it to feed me twice. Shoestring fries aren't either of our favorites so we'll try the tater tots next time. Another great spot to grab a bite in East Nashville.

Fan freakin tastic. Killer burgers, great staff and a sleek, nice layout inside. I felt like I was at a super nice coffee house but eating a great burger with tons of room for hanging out or even setting up your laptop and working. My new meet up spot for sure.

The sweet potato and guacamole burger was delicious! It's always hit or miss with vegetarian "burgers" but this one was great! The gluten free bun was good too! My friend had the Gouda burger and she said it was delicious. BC is a great addition to Five Points!

Wow!!! I got the bacon stuffed burger and was blown away. The burger was amazing and I sent a picture to a few friends and I have never had friends get so jealous of a good picture I sent. The fries were great too! They are very thin. I think this is the only place in the 5 points area I've gotten thin fries at which is nice. If you don't like thin fries, they have tator tots! I didn't try the meatless options, but noticed on the menu they offer veggie/vegan options for only a slight up charge, much less than I've seen other burger places charge. I think this is my new favorite burger place in the 5 points area! I highly recommend.

This was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Super fresh, high quality, delicious! You will not be disappointed. Vey friendly staff that make you feel welcome and appreciated. So happy to have them in the neighborhood.

If you wanna have a different take on burgers, this is the place to go! Off to the side from all the hustle and bustle. Quiet enough to eat great food and have good conversation with friends. I had the turkey burger.... Chef's kiss. My friend had the chick jagger with tater tots with tzatziki sauce, different yet surprising combination.

Burgers & fries were VERY tasty! Good selection of beer & drinks. Staff was friendly & helpful. Dining room was clean & tidy with many seating options. I recommend to anyone looking for a yummy burger!

As a burger critic - this place hits the mark. Gourmet but not too gourmet. Could be a hangover burger or a regular burger. Fries are excellent as are the cheese curds. Meant to take a pic but was too hungry and forgot. Will definitely be returning.

Our group of 4 retired teachers ventured in to B&Co and had the best lunch!! Simple decor, ordered at counter, but service was tops! Clean, cordial, and delicious! I had Blue Cheese burger w caramelized onions and hot tots. Just perfect. Please do not over look this burger gem!!!

Very nice and very East Nashville! Our waiter was great and our food came out very quickly. I think his name was Sully. Hands down the best milkshake I've ever had! The burgers were great, the burger (Sully?) recommended was great! I would recommend it too. It is called the fried pickle burger. 10/10 recommend going if you're in East Nashville.
