"Throughout October Bay Street Burger Dive is conjuring spooky vibes with four Halloween-y cocktails — notably a sour apple “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and a spiced sangria — plus themed menu items like deviled egg “eyeballs” and chicken wings rubbed with a midnight-black dry rub; keep an eye on their Instagram for announcements on themed trivia nights." - Justine Jones

"Opening its second permanent location and first full restaurant on Friday, August 21, Burger Dive — the burger spot that began in a dive bar kitchen by Josh Thoma, Kevin Fitzgerald, and Nick O’Leary — lands in the West 7th neighborhood in the heart of Twin Cities burger country. Fashioned as a new dive bar in a neighborhood rich with dive bars, the spot will feature pull tabs, meat raffles, and trivia on various nights. In addition to burgers, the menu includes fried sides such as cheese curds, totchos, wings, and onion rings, and the new location will serve breakfast with biscuits provided by Betty & Earl’s. The concept began as an extended pop-up inside Tony Jaro’s bar in Northeast Minneapolis before moving to a full-time operation inside Rosedale Mall, and construction delays pushed the anticipated opening from Wednesday to Friday this week." - Joy Summers
