Came here with my friend who’s vegetarian—I’d been hearing all the buzz about Burger Fiancé, so I had to bring her. And let me tell you: the hype is real.
We kicked things off with the kimchi fries ($11) and cauliflower bites ($9)—so generous that we were already getting full before the burgers even showed up. The fries were hand-cut and loaded with flavor, and I asked for a side of their rayunaise sauce to dip both the fries and the cauliflower in—game changer. Creamy, tangy, and just the right amount of flavor.
For my main, I had the Pulled Pork Ameyoko ($22)—made with shiitake instead of meat. I’ll be honest: the texture was a bit chewy for me since I’m not used to vegetarian meat substitutes, but the flavor? Incredible. Smoky, sweet, and balanced. I got it with a Caesar salad on the side, and the dressing had a slight sweetness to it that I loved. Plus, crispy croutons and fried capers? Yes please.
My friend went for the Truffle Burger ($21)—Impossible patty, onion ring, mushrooms, truffle everything. We split both sandwiches in half, because how else are you supposed to do it?
The terrace was open, so we grabbed a table outside—it was my first terrace of the spring, and the sun was doing its thing. To top it all off, they were playing Afrobeat when we walked in. Vibes? Immaculate.
Vegan or not, this spot is full of flavor, good energy, and worth the visit.
