Not a good location if you can skip , go ahead and do that went here and about 8:30 this morning and they had the doors locked and wouldn’t answer the speakers , which sucks because I had a previous experience here where I was picking up two whoppers took the girl with green hair about an hour to gather two whoppers and I personally think she was high 🍃 and her manager on duty was no help at all also , I just hate it for the owners so many fast food chains go down hill when you have the wrong people working for your business . I’m back on 10/06/25 I asked for sweet tea look what I got 😐 let’s not forget he gave me unsweetened the first time and then said we gotta make some how about SAY THAT , food presentation? HORRIBLE

The slowest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to, it literally takes over 30min just to get your food, I have hr lunches and by the time I got my food I had 15min left! And they don’t put napkins in your bag sometimes! They either need a whole new team or more workers because it’s sad at this point..

Both of the sandwiches I got were warm but not hot. They both tasted good as could be expected from Burger King. The restaurant itself was in dis repair old outdated not very kept up or picked up of trash in the bathrooms and parking lot. Staff was doing the job , just took them a minute to acknowledge me.

This place is laughable. This has to be the worst BK in Bham lol. Went to the drive thru, waited 5 minutes, decided to go in … of course all of the workers were standing against the counter, on their phones , get to the counter and they don’t have fries ? Understandable but geez. 10 extra minutes for 1 burger??? If it was up to me I would’ve been left but my brother wanted that burger so bad. And it was hot and fresh but do better. I give it 3-5 months if they don’t get a new crew it’s going to be shut down.

Disgusting. No soap or TP in the women’s bathroom. Bathroom was repulsive. Do the women employees wash their hands here? Order took 20 mins. Fast food? I have to eat this bc I’m in a terrible rush to meet movers otherwise I’d be getting a refund and not risking food poisoning. Health department should shut you down. Laughable. They give you 1/4 the bacon and eggs pictured. A complete ripoff. Eggs hard. Couldn't order from the inside. Two workers went in dumpster area and closed the door. Burger king doesn't care how improper they restaurants being run and they not serving what's on the advertisement. Rip off

I can honestly say that things are improving with this location. The staff was very attentive and worked as fast as they could to get my order out to me. Khrtsmas was also on top of my order.

if you wanna slam your head against your steering wheel while waiting 10 minutes for some terrible food, I couldn't recommend this place anymore. It is so obvious they do not care at all about their jobs, I saw one wearing a pajama style onesie while at the drive-through window hitting her vape. Canned chicken and Mayo would be a better meal than this.

The place really sucks. Slooooooow. Employees seemed PO'd because they are at work and not just at home collecting a check. When I FINALLY got my order, it was handed to me with a stare like she'd rather throw it at me. One whopper cold another was luke warm. Who the hell owns this place??? Is it a franchise or corporate owned?

My husband and I walked into this Burger King and were completely ignored by the staff. The lady behind the counter actually looked directly at us but kept filling orders for the drive thru. Never even said anything to the fact that someone would be with us shortly. Not the way to treat paying customers if you want to keep a job and keep your establishment open.

I loved the service from the young man at the front. His name is Jayden, he's well mannered, very respectful, and energeti. He took care of me and my family in an orderly and respectful manner, I definitely recommend this Burger King if your ever In the Homewood Area!!

With sadness unfortunately I have to repeat a one star rating a year later. At this point, I'm led to believe that the blame sits with the owners of this franchise. Thought that after all this time, and plenty of low low reviews, things would change. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be the case. Curious to see how long this place stays open or profitable.

Talk about SLOW!!!! Don't come here thinking you're getting fast food. The drive thru line moved at a snails pace. Once I got to the window and paid, I was surprised my order was correct. Cold fries, but they took off onions and added extra pickles to my burger. That's what the 2nd star is for... gotta love pickles on a burger!

I went to this location and ordered an impossible whopper with fries and a Diet Coke. The service was kind but slow as I think they lost my order, however, they were very kind in rectifying this matter and gave me my food promptly after that. The whopper was great and it is a favorite of mine and the fries are always crispy. I appreciate having a vegetarian option for on-the-go. As a busy college student, convenience is everything and this tasty vegetarian option gives me exactly what I need for a cheap price.

From start to finish my experience left much to be desired. Between the poor customer service at the order window to the bug found at the bottom of my hash brown bag, this establishment needs a major overhaul. Around 8:00am, I arrived to Burger King at 290 Oxmoor Rd Birmingham, AL to order breakfast and the menus weren't even turned around. I thought it was a minor ask, but was met with hostility from that point on. I get my food and begin to enjoy my hash browns, making my way to work, and I notice at the bottom of the bag and small dead bug. I immediately turn around to take the food back and hope for a refund. The doors of the establishment were locked, and I was instructed to go back through the drive-thru... At the window the cashiers questioned my complaint and o had to show them the picture of the obvious bug in my bag! They processed my refund, but jokingly stated "Crystal said she put the bug in the bag." I was extremely shocked. Burger King, customer service is essential to the success of any business. While I did not frequent your restaurants often, I have family and friends who do. "Decent" service and cleanliness is the least you could offer your patrons.

Menu board never changed so you couldn't see combo #'s 1-7 and when I mentioned it the lady taking my order didn't really seem to care! I order a whopper, no tomato or ketchup, and the bacon cheesy bites. What I got was the whopper loaded with ketchup & tomatoes Luckily I hadn't left the parking lot so I brought it back in. The gentleman asked what was wrong and when I told him his only reaction was that the girl hadn't rung it in right! Honestly I don't care who's to blame, just want it right! They made me a new one. Now the bacon cheesy tots were less than good!! They tasted like they were fried in super old oil and tasted like fish! Yuck!!!!! Best advice I can give anyone is just go down the road and by pass this location!!!!!

I want to be nice....but I am going to be honest. THIS PLACE NEEDS HELP! I waited a couple of days to officially review this location but the dissatisfaction didn't wear off. First the remodeling of the building is really nice and you can tell money was put into this location. Unfortunately throwing money into a remodel doesn't change the lack of training for staff. This is Burger King first of all, but if you put a little attention and detail towards your operation you shouldn't be a 1 star restaurant. First off it took way too long to make a simple big mac combo which is one of their most popular meals. Next the ketchup dispenser was completely out. 12 of the 30 tables were dirty. The other guests were very....skeptical. One couple looking like they just finished coming down off an all nighter sat near the entrance yelling at each other, another guest appeared to have been riding out the day in the same spot for a few hours (probably didn't buy anything), and a variety of other characters... My advice to management: clean your tables and hire a security guard to keep a clean image of your company's brand.

I always come to this fast food and have no problem at all. But this time I experience a discrimination by one of the employees. I walk in and set my order to go for combo then my sister order just burger and fries but no soda ( soda pop). The the front server who take our order is look Latina or Mexican. When after my sis order , she said " I don't understand your order we don't speak Spanish here!". That's remark she said was judgement to customer and very rude to say . She should not be in front server to assist customer if she don't have manner and not polite to customer.I never been discriminated my entire life like this. Im from Philippines originally. And I speak two languages. But never been judgement by Spanish lady . She need to look herself to the mirror first who she is. I will never recommend this fast food for being discrimination.and I don't tolerate this.

Now, I don't have necessarily high standards for fast food restaurants. This Burger King was terrible though. It took longer than expected to get our food. The line was fairly long, but only one cashier was taking orders. Several of the drinks in the drink dispenser were empty. They were out of ketchup in the ketchup dispenser. First, we went up to the counter and asked for ketchup but the employee got distracted by another customer and then walked away from us. Then, we went up again to ask and were told that there was no ketchup. The employee didn't apologize or offer a different dipping sauce. When we were almost done with our meal and about the leave, the cashier approached me and asked me to sign my receipt and gave me my copy of the receipt as well--30 minutes after ordering.

There was black mold in my drink and they forgot my jalapeño poppers. plus my chicken nuggets were cold and hard. Terrible, terrible service and will not be back. I would give no star if possible.

The wait time for "fast food" is literally laughable at this Burger King. Some days you might have to wait 15-20 minutes for a simple whopper meal. The manager/shift leader is not customer friendly. It's almost as if somebody is forcing her to work here so us as customers should not say anything to upset her. She probably thinks that disposition is cute and harmless but there's nothing nice about saying "I KNOW YOU'RE THERE, CAN YOU PLEASE WAIT??" after I said "hello?" twice because nothing was said to me at the drive thru order box. Let's just say, if this place is closed before 2022, I don't think anybody would miss it. Long wait times and rude workers are a no go for me.

Customer service here was not good at all when me and my friend walk in here we noticed that the cashier didn't even speak and make us feel welcomed she seemed like she didn't want to be there at all out of all the Burger Kings that I've been to this had to be the worst one ever. A lot of times I think it might be best to go Thur the drive Thur instead of going inside

Horribly slow service. Like tectonic plate slow. Observe evolution, write a field journal, have it peer reviewed, published in Nature, universally adopted by the scientific community and taught in schools for decades and be posthumously awarded a Nobel prize 10 years after your death slow. Employees actually berated a customer who returned an order that was made incorrectly. Instead of dealing with the problem, they stopped to tell the customer why they didn't follow their special request to not have mayo on a burger.

Customer service was great! There was something going on with the machine to take order through drive through so I had to repeat myself several times. One thing I have always been taught is to respect those who prepare your food when things according to your order goes wrong. As I gave the card something told me to ask what did she have on the register before handling my card but I trusted her and did not. Unfortunately, I looked at the receipt and the whole order was wrong. I still did not get my cup of water which was not a issue, I did get a free meal due to misinterpretations at the drive through mic. But one thing I can say the employees showed me respect through the whole process and I truly thank them for that . Food can be better but I guess it depends on who is in there prepping the food. I will give them a 3 star just because of how they respected me during a difficult time.

I rarely go to fast food places, much less Burger King and today has to be one of the saddest fast food experiences I've had in nearly 20 years with McDonald's not having the beanie baby of my choice in their happy meal! To start, I went to the restroom and there was an employee in there hiding, texting on her phone. Then I ask her in the most Christian way possible if I could come in since there was only one restroom available. She hesitates then finally leaves. After I lock the door, I hear a crashing noise of someone trying to break the door it seems. I look and it's a four year old girl. She managed to break through the lock! Her mom apologizes then I proceed to wash my hands and leave. I saw about three flies in the restaurant in the short amount time I was there. I order two bacon cheeseburgers with fries and a drink. When I go to get my small drink, none of the lids fit! They were for medium and large drinks only so I just went without a lid. I ordered my food to go, and it wasn't till my dad and I were home we realized there was no bacon on the cheeseburgers! Pitiful. Of course on the car ride home, he made a turn which caused a good bit of the drink to spill onto the car floor. Could have easily been avoided had they had the current lids. Also, I live five minutes away. The fries were extremely cold even on the car ride back home. Almost nothing went right with this experience.

Slowest place I have ever been to. I was the first and only person in the drive thru and it took 20 minutes to get my food. Staff was rude and definitely do not care about customers or service in general. Burger King needs to clean house. Avoid this one at 290 Oxmoor Rd.

Zero Rating If that was an option! We arrived at this Burger King along our Road trip at 12:40pm and didn't leave the location until almost 1:30pm waiting for our order! While other people who ordered after us received their food some with similar orders to ours! We approached the counter 3 separate times and not so much as I'm sorry about your wait was given! Just side eye and rude looks like we were bothering the counter worker and the manager also standing there said NOT ONE WORD! While waiting our shoes stuck to the floor! It was so sticky like it had not been mopped in weeks! Everywhere you walked in the location it was sticky! The area with soda was also sticky and there were no napkins or ketchup! They have a small container with ketchup packets on the counter for you to grab what you need but a ketchup packet had exploded in there and all the packets were sticky! When we asked for different packets bc we didn't want to get our hands covered in ketchup we got an eye roll as a response and huff and puff while they grabbed the ketchup! Let's not forget the bathroom! Toilet paper, gum, & you guessed it sticky floors and around the toilet was dried urine! How appetizing! Never have we been so disappointed with all around service and location!!! You NEED to do better!!!!!!!

This isn't my first rodeo with this restaurant. My daughter and pulled into the drivethru and set at the speaker for 4 mind, before we was acknowledged. We finally was greeted we as call we lunch items and she said and proceeded to take our order and then half way through the order she said we couldn't get lunch items because the broiler wasn't ready mind you they say you can purchase lunch items at 9:00 a.m. and it was 9:30a.m. We changed our order and then proceeded in the line. We waited another 8 to 10 mind before we reached the window now if it hadn't been for the kids be hungry and stuck between cars we have left. Once at the window we greeted with an unpleasant face and a attitude. We got our item four sausage biscuits and a burrito they put jelly in bag but no sauce for the burrito and no napkins this was a bad experience considering I just a awesome experience at Burger King in Tarrant. Overall we spend 40 mins in the drivethru so if you press for time this the place for you. Not fast food!

This burger king is hard to get to with traffic been so bad coming in and out. My food was fine the fires were ok they could have been hotter but for the most part a get good service everytime i come here what i like about burger king is that they have a lot of great deals when you use their coupons you can get 2 whopper junior's 2 small fries for only $ 3.99, and lots of other good deals as well

The service here is horrible. The cashiers have the rottenest(if that's a word) attitudes. They look dirty and ghetto as hell. I asked for napkins and ketchup you would've thought I asked for stock in the company. That hood rat was very rude as she slammed the (expletive)!!!! In my hand. I should've dropped it all on the ground and left. But alas my ass was hungry. I asked for no tomatoes or onions. Take a wild guess at what was on my sandwich.... Covered in 10 gallons of mayo... They need to revamp that location big time. Smh... What happened to having it your way at Burger King???
