Burger King Targets McDonald’s With Anti-Clown Advertising Campaign | Eater

"Over the same week the chain rolled out two attention-grabbing stunts: a Mexico City pilot that promises to deliver burgers to motorists stuck in traffic via motorcyclists — but only when its app determines a vehicle will be stationary for at least 30 minutes and is within roughly two miles, raising concerns that the program could further congest roads — and an ad campaign promoting “clown-free” children’s birthday parties that uses large, unsettling images of kids frightened by clowns. Both moves read as self-conscious publicity ploys aimed at emulating ironically brand-savvy competitors like Wendy’s and Denny’s while needling McDonald’s, though critics have called the parody of McDonald’s Happy Meals tepid and clumsy." - Tim Forster

Your typical burger king with a weird layout. The area where you order your food and pick it up is located at the rear of the establishment. Service was cordial and competent. Clean restaurant. Typical, well prepared Burger King food.

This McDonald’s on Calle Madero is a convenient spot for a quick meal. They serve classics like the Big Mac, fries, and McNuggets, always with good flavor and consistent portions. Its central location is perfect for people shopping or exploring nearby. The self-order kiosks make the process faster, and the service is generally quick, which is ideal for those in a rush. However, the restaurant is small , making it difficult to find a seat, especially during peak hours. There are no restrooms, which can be inconvenient for customers. Additionally, the staff can sometimes seem rushed, and the overall customer service experience could be friendlier. This McDonald’s is a great choice for its location and fast service, but improvements in space, facilities, and customer care would make it even better.

There is a noticeable smell of sewage throughout the place. The location has machines to place your order, but they are in poor condition; some do not accept card payments. One of the people with me had to wait more than 20 minutes to receive their order, even though there were few people, while the other two of us got ours in 5 minutes. Finally, the girl who serves the ice cream took approximately 25 minutes to attend to several customers, including us, because the Icee machine wasn't working.

Self-service machine doesn't have English. The machine should be both English and Spanish. How are tourists supposed to order food? Even in a developed countries like Spain, there are English translations.

Incredibly crowded, but the staff attends you very fast. The food has always been great here, no issues with any orders so far. Get in and move fast since there's always a ton of people here. It's close to the major walkways in the historic center, near the zócalo.
