Went into Troy, MI location and initiated my cashier with a smile & "I have a couple questions" I downloaded the app today...and realized that there was a $3 Wednesday Whopper. so I asked could you help me, she said "I don't know", I then asked for someone who could. She had another employee come over to assist who was a bit LOUD and obnoxious (almost like she wanted everyone to hear her making me feel bad for asking a question) She also responded that she didn't know anything about the app, her response was literally "it's your app on your phone, I don't know anything about that!" REALLY???? It's Burger King app. (UGH) Then I asked if their kids meal had the "trick or treat" bucket and she said "NO, we don't have those" Ok, I said, I mentioned that I had seen a commercial, and she was sure to loudly say that it was McDonalds that carried them.....OK!!! nevermind, I'll get the two for $5 whopper jr. After cashing me out, I looked at the receipt and I had been charged for the kids meal. I said, I didn't want the kids meal (without the bucket), and again, she loudly said "You didn't say that!" She called for assistance (now there are three people standing there working on my order) and proceeded to LOUDLY explain the entire transaction to who I think was a manager, (app, whopper, whopper jrs. kids meal.....(bucket) so they talked amongst themselves about giving me a refund, which neither seemed to know how to do. Finally explained that they had to refund my entire order. Then she rang it up and couldn't use my code for the $3 whopper, so the only benefit of this entire exchange was that (and they were sure to let it be known) that the whopper was free. THANK YOU !!!!
Bottom line to this (sorry) long review......I will not be returning to this Burger King...It's no wonder they have no lines, and poor reviews.
