Burger King

Employees were nice, but I ordered an Impossible whopper, and they gave me a real meat double cheeseburger. They are different sizes and have different wrappers. Not the first problem I’ve had at this location either, unfortunately. I would’ve waited longer for this to be double checked, because it was the only thing I ordered. I shouldn’t have to rip the big open and inspect the sandwich before I drive away, just for me to get home to realize it’s something I can’t eat.

Been here a couple times now. Decent burger and great fries. Better than them McDonald crap fries. Seems to be a very quite place though inside. Which kinda disappoints. This I guess is due to my childhood memories of Burger King. They have a really cool seating area too. Just wish I had three other friends who liked coffee and games. Cause I could sit there for quite some time sharing stories and playing cards or whatever. Also who in the heck said “let’s promote a SpongeBob movie”. That person should be fired. With current market trends, you want more folks my age in there, bring back the Pokémon. Heck when I was going to Burger King as a kid, they did a Pokémon thing, and my God you think “ Chick-fil-A” had lines…. Those lines are a joke in comparison. You think Black Friday riots were bad…. Bring back them Pokémon gold cards and just watch…. But also make sure them workers have riot shield and batons too….

As I entered, cashier was viewing their phone screen, all while the mess I photographed was right next to them. I told them my order in detail, including that it was "for here", only to be asked if my.order was for here or to go. Food was barely okay. Do BETTER management and team. Do BETTER.

At first I thought it was a one off but been here multiple times on a weekend night 10:30 ish the night crew has been amazing everytime my fries have been perfect and my whopper just made great. I never make reviews for fast food joints but the service has been great here and I saw they had a 3.8 rating which I honestly think is probably from a old crew cause this guys have been awesome the guys who works the counter w a pony tail is a awesome guy just wanted to give some public credit when it’s def deserved because in this day and age the public treats entry level workers like crap and it’s not fair to them !

One Star – Unprofessional and Consistently Terrible Service. Every time I visit this Burger King, the service is awful. I only come back because it’s close to home. The staff act like they’re at home rather than at work—leaning on counters, yelling, and playing around like it’s social hour. I even included a photo to show how unprofessional they are. They look visibly annoyed when you ask for basic things like ketchup or a fresh burger. Today, my onion rings were cold and the fries were burnt. I didn’t bother complaining because I didn’t want to argue or risk something worse happening to my food. To make matters worse, they don’t wear proper hair nets. One of them had on a bonnet,which are for sleeping—not for food service. It’s unsanitary and unprofessional. The only person who ever tries to make things right is the older bald manager. When he’s not around, I already know the experience will be bad. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

This place is amazing! We stopped there right before midnight to pick up food after a concert and the staff there were so accommodating and professional. They all had a smile on their face and got our order right even after we ordered 3 times! I am thankful for their kindness and patience. I love this place!

I usually use this drive through but I said hey what the heck I’ll go in . I waited 5 minutes before someone ever said hello and took my order . While it was 5 people I made eye contact with since standing at the register. Food is good when the food is fresh , unfortunately you have to ask them to make it fresh everytime .

Not sure about the food did not eat just used restroom but the gentleman I spoke to that worked there was a really nice guy

The service was great from one person at the counter , the others just seemed like you bothered them when I asked to get something corrected they seemed annoyed they threw it together quickly it was cold and the bun wasn't toasted the only part of my sandwich that was warm was the burger, it wasn't a great experience... I've never had any issues with any burger king until today... about 30 minutes after I had ate my sandwich and after my daughter had her food we felt really sick as well, I don't think I would come back to this location due to how my experience was.

Pretty good Burger King! Can smell them cooking up good food from a mile away! There never seems to be anyone here even though it's right off the freeway. We have received some pretty good food here. Sometimes are burgers are a bit more than well done which is unfortunate but the fries are always really good. The woman with the blonde hair in the drive thru is really funny and in good spirits when you get your food.

My son and I came into Burger King to eat lunch. It was horrible service three of the employees were arguing about a smokehouse burger quite loudly. After I got my food and was eating I over heard an employee come into the kitchen and say she threw up in the bathroom then continued to make food saying she felt like she was going to pass out. After half of our food was gone. We will definitely not be back. Horrible!

Burger King is doing free delivery this weekend, and my boyfriend and I wanted to try the new Ch'King sandwich, so we took advantage on the app. They also have a TON of coupons on the app, including one we used: $11 for two Ch'King combos, including medium fries and a drink. The verdict: -Food was all mostly lukewarm, even though I live 5 minutes away. They use DoorDash for delivery, and both the BK app and and the DoorDash link I was texted updated when the driver was nearby, which was nice. -Ch'King sandwich was just okay. Maybe 2.5/5 or 3/5 stars. -Orange Fanta was good, I hadn't had orange soda in a while. -Fries were also kinda meh. I'm more of a McD fan though. -Onion rings were good. I've had theirs before and liked them that time too. Overall, everything was just okay/so-so but I appreciated the free delivery.

There is an Asian-faced female manager at your store who is completely incapable of handling problems. I suggest you avoid employing someone who does nothing but argue with customers as a manager. I placed an order online, but the store's system couldn't find it. The manager was unable to handle online order issues. I asked to place a new order and pay on-site, but she refused to allow me to purchase food. This manager refused to let a paying customer buy something at their store, and I think there's something wrong with her.

Awesome offer on app, great food, great service. Gabe Perry was especially on top of things and really pleasant. Had to throw a shout out bc it's the best fast food experience recently!

Yea Burger King is officially over in my book . The burger was thrown together in a haste. The fries were Luke warm and old . I know the new girl up front was trying her best that's the only star that this place is getting

Apathetic, lazy, checked out. Had to repeat my order over and over again as the girl kept interpreting me before I was done giving her each section of the order. Get to the window, no smile, scowl on her face, I ask to add a sandwich she rolls her eyes and says "yeah". Order comes out missing the added sandwich and made wrong and missing sauces. I inform the girl she doesn't say and word just closes the window and goes away, finally comes out with the missing item. Fries taste old, I get tired of dealing and just leave with the crappy busted up ass food. Burger King should kist throw in the f ing towel and close this store.

Whoever was working the drive through speaker today, April 19th 2024 at 12:45pm, at the big beaver and rochester road location, was EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. She literally started talking badly about us right after we ordered and we heard her through the speaker. Like if you hate your job that much then find something else where you don't have to interact with customers as much

French Fries were good, The burger still better than McDonald's, but the new "Royal" crispy chicken should be called fried awhile back, now soggy chicken, the lettuce was a reddish color & the creamy sauce was well disgusting at best.

Ordered a whopper from here. I waited in drive thru for almost 20 minutes and there were not that many cars. The food was just average.

I live in the area. Before the pandemic and up to now, this BK has consistently terrible food. Shame. Moved from a place where the workers still cared. Gave this BK a chance. Big NO GO from me. Spicey chicken sandwich not even dipped in sauce and one pickle? Unacceptable. What the heck is up with the sign? Can't even read it when you order. Just weird. Never had an issue with the actual people working except for the end product which suggests a management problem.

Went into Troy, MI location and initiated my cashier with a smile & "I have a couple questions" I downloaded the app today...and realized that there was a $3 Wednesday Whopper. so I asked could you help me, she said "I don't know", I then asked for someone who could. She had another employee come over to assist who was a bit LOUD and obnoxious (almost like she wanted everyone to hear her making me feel bad for asking a question) She also responded that she didn't know anything about the app, her response was literally "it's your app on your phone, I don't know anything about that!" REALLY???? It's Burger King app. (UGH) Then I asked if their kids meal had the "trick or treat" bucket and she said "NO, we don't have those" Ok, I said, I mentioned that I had seen a commercial, and she was sure to loudly say that it was McDonalds that carried them.....OK!!! nevermind, I'll get the two for $5 whopper jr. After cashing me out, I looked at the receipt and I had been charged for the kids meal. I said, I didn't want the kids meal (without the bucket), and again, she loudly said "You didn't say that!" She called for assistance (now there are three people standing there working on my order) and proceeded to LOUDLY explain the entire transaction to who I think was a manager, (app, whopper, whopper jrs. kids meal.....(bucket) so they talked amongst themselves about giving me a refund, which neither seemed to know how to do. Finally explained that they had to refund my entire order. Then she rang it up and couldn't use my code for the $3 whopper, so the only benefit of this entire exchange was that (and they were sure to let it be known) that the whopper was free. THANK YOU !!!! Bottom line to this (sorry) long review......I will not be returning to this Burger King...It's no wonder they have no lines, and poor reviews.

Generally don't leave bad reviews, and had no idea Burger King even used fresh bacon but they put two pieces of completely RAW uncooked bacon on my burger so glad I checked before taking a bite. Absolutely disgusting.

I can only review what happened in our experience. Perhaps today the stars aligned but we came here to grab a quick bite before another appointment and had a great experience on all points. The location is convenient right off the expressway at Big Beaver Road and Rochester Road. When we came in there was no line and we were able to order immediately. I was given my drink cup and went to fill it and as soon as I was done the food was ready. Service was quick and friendly. I had ordered two onion rings in place of two fries and when only one was substituted they apologized and immediately swapped it for onion rings. They asked if we wanted Zesty Sauce; we did. The food was the usual Burger King fare but it came up quickly and was served hot and the taste we expected; no surprises is what we all hope for when visiting any fast food chain. If the food is served fast and hot, and the staff is quick and friendly, even a fast food is up for a good review in my opinion. And if in addition to all that, they have clean restrooms, and they did, they deserve a top rating. This is only the second time I have rated 5 stars for a fast food restaurant. But they did everything I expected and did it better than most.

Consistently the worst Burger King. Always cold fríes, cold food, messed up orders. Only use this location due to their proximity to my home. Go somewhere else.

Pretty bad. I'm as sweet as Hershey Pie when I'm ordering food because I don't want spit or other unmentionables in my food. I could tell it wasn't going to go well before we even ordered our food. The customer before us had her order messed up three times. She ordered it to go and it as placed on trays. She ordered a soda with the kids meal and was given juice. She ordered a frappe and was charged for a regular coffee. Bonus for her but the manager threw a fit. The customer was given bags to put her order in and she didn't inspect her food so who knows what she found when she got home. Our order consisted of a whopper meal, add cheese and mustard, no mayo, a Hershey pie and a whopper Jr with cheese. I received a whopper without cheese, pickles or mustard but it did have gobs of mayo spewing out. The manager snarled at the girl that we'd need a fork, not a spoon and then just threw a fork on the tray. The whopper Jr had no cheese. The fries were gross and just thrown on the tray. There were only a few in the container, the rest were all over the tray. Plus they were nasty. Brown and tasted like old rancid grease. We sat in the dining room at the only semi clean table available. This was at 8pm on a Monday evening. The manager was continually yelling out instructions and she was so loud it was pretty disruptive to the diners. Just an overall unpleasant experience.

Great customer service!! Came in tonight and they communicated with us that they were a little slammed due to doordash orders, and asked us to be patient as there were only two inside. They did a great job, and we only waited a short time. Definitely worth the wait!

I would give them zero stars if I could. Amidst the Covid19 pandemic, the employees were not wearing their masks nor wearing gloves/ washing their hands. I work in food service and know what kind of precautious should be being taken. On top of that, the staff were so rude and seemed so annoyed and were just shaking their head. They forgot my sauces and my drink and I had to remind her before I left. 5/6 of my items were COLD but they were busy so I don't understand how the food was not fresh? I called and Mike answered and I asked if he was the manager and he said "I am how can I help you?" In the rudest way. I then proceeded to tell him all of my food was cold (I was using "all" in a general sense) and instead of him saying sorry he said "even your fries? That's IMPOSSIBLE" which means he was implying that I WAS LYING. Awful. Just awful. Don't go here.

I was hungry for a flame broiled burger so I stopped in there one afternoon to get a couple of Whoppers with Cheese and one order of small fries. They really seemed unorganized and confused at the drive up window. They handed me the bag of food and I was distracted by the guy at the window offering me a treat for my dog, so I didn't look into the bag like I normally do. I got home and I opened the bag-only two whoppers, no fries, no napkins and no receipt. This is becoming an issue too often at these fast food places-the kids that work there don't know what they are doing, often can't make correct change and don't bother to see if the order is correct, napkins/straws/cream/sugar/etc. are in the order or whatever. I was shortchanged an order of fries and I don't even have the receipt so I can go in and ask for them. Not good.

Good kind people just always forget something. Ive been there 3 times and always forgot something of my order. Whether its sauce or mozzarella sticks ive never gotten anything ive ordered

They have a very bad attitude first of all when you come to the speaker. It's not welcome to Burger King. It's nasty from start. No excuses. So the owner should be proud of the way they handle their business I guess. Run the few that's coming away right? Geesh.

My boyfriend ordered 6 double croissants. They gave him six regular croissants- all old and cold. I called to complain. The manager said that is not what he ordered and hung up on me. I called later to speak to a different manager. He said he was sorry and they'd replace it. Went to have it replaced another day. It was the same manager as the first time. She stood there and told me that I got exactly what I ordered. She said the only reason he said he'd replace it is because I forgot to tell him not to. Wow. So if you go in and there's a meth head looking chick with pink hair id go elsewhere

A Burger King that is unable to make and sell burgers? Okay... I went here on my lunch today and was told by a super lethargic young lady after attempting to order a Whopper that their grills were down and the only thing they can make were Crispy Chicken sandwiches. Don't you think that's a pretty important thing you should inform your customers as they approach to place their order? When I asked if this was something that just happened the girl told me no and that they have been down for over a half hour. Here's a thought, put a sign on the door and in front of the register explaining the issue. Don't waste peoples time standing in line only to find out they cannot order 90% of the menu. At least I wasn't one of the "lucky" ones sitting in the 10 car long drive-thru line without any warning that they weren't going to "have it their way".

Its burger king, good affordable fastfood.. I still always prefer the whopper.. but Ive been getting their 10pc chicken since it us only 1.49.. Service is ok, everyone here seems like they're miserable though.. smile, and I think that will improve customer satisfaction even by 1 star..

Showed up for breakfast..they are supposed to be open at 6:00am. Drive through is closed, doors are locked, worker in side is making no effort to communicate and it quarter after at this point.

Went to get a quick breakfast combo, and pulled up to the speaker and the menu was still for lunch and dinner. The lady on the speaker ask " How can I help you?", I say the board is still for dinner. She replys, " Haven't had time to switch it". Really???? How in the world am I suppose to order if there is no breakfast menu? Am I suppose to have your menu memorized? LMAO, what a joke of a location.

Long wait I was 2nd person in drive through line. Ordered 2 impossible whoppers, one minus tomato, and the other minus onion. When I got home I discovered both whoppers had neither tomato or onion. This wasn't the 1st time they've messed up our order.

Thank God this was open at 7:45pm on New Years Eve. I needed a bathroom break bad and was hungry and miles away from home! So I decided to visit. Went in through the drive thru for the food and then went in to use the loo. Food was 3 chicken strips combo with Dr. Pepper food was hot and good. I have as a Yelper reviewed one other Burger King and that is the one at the Mac/DTW. What a difference of night and day! The service was fast and friendly and the food was hot and great!!! Unlike the one at the Mac/DTW that took over 20 minutes to cook my 3 chicken strips and the food was soggy and I didn't even get a simple "sorry" from the manager!! I will recommend this Burger King to my friends and family any day!!

Fastest service at this BK. No wait time at all, order was ready for me before I even got to the window. Missing a star because the location is always very busy. They always seem to be out of something I order. Be careful driving here, it is a VERY busy area.

Don't know why this location is as bad as it is. I work in the area for years and have gone here several times. Doesn't matter if it's 3,6,12 months in between the food prep is horrible both breakfast and lunch. For comparison I visit one closer to my home and has far better quality.

We were on our way to the freeway and stopped for a burger. Huge mistake. We were not offered cheese. That wouldn't have helped anyway. The Whopper Jr. was cold, over cooked, and dry.It left an aftertaste, as if I just got soap in my mouth. I stopped after two bites. One of the ice dispensers is broken. The lids don't fit on the large cups. The employees are loud and unprofessional. Will. Not. Return.

Awful! I wait 20 minutes in the drive thru when there's not even 4 cars ahead of me, I had one meal, they forget my fries, so I go back in to ask for them and I get to wait another 10 minutes just for some cold fries that taste like plastic. Never again.

At ten this morning I came to this location for vanilla iced coffees for me and my man. We get this often and have never had an issue until today. I have type one diabetes and corrected for the coffee ahead of time and got down about half of it. My man couldn't even drink his after the first sip because we noticed it was very thick and way too sweet. I checked my blood sugar around 12 when I started to feel really sick and my sugar raised nearly to 500. My blood sugars never get that high. I'm upset because now I feel very sick. I'm also hungry and haven't got to have anything else today and now as I'm ready to eat a meal I can't due to my sugar because of the coffee. Correct proportioning is so important to people who have medical conditions that stress the importance of paying close attention to correct nutrition count. I called and spoke to Mike to make him aware that the coffee made me sick and needed to be checked out/ remade so nobody else with sugar problems gets sick and have to feel as I do now. He told me that nothing was wrong with the coffee it's the same as it always is(which I reassured I drink their often and it 100% is not made the same as always) also being diabetic and having that be the only thing I had today is proof because if it were made right I would not have a 500 blood sugar and feel so sick. I was calling for the concern of this happening to other people and I was upset mike did not seem to care about the importance of this matter only to argue with me and tell me I'm wrong. This matter should be cared about if you care about the health of your customers and not taken lightly. I'm very disappointed on the unprofessionalism

Rude untrained staff. Drive thru is always slow. They cant get the order right and half the time the food is cold. This has been happening more lately. Never going here again.

they don't know how to accept their own gift cards. i take back what i said for audrey C with stephanie. They are on a gift card but do not know how to run their own system. A manager should not need to ask a french fry cook how to override bc they can't figure their own system

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! So slow and there's no one here! Food is also somehow over cooked and raw at the same time. Yuck!

I will like to give a shout-out to the Best drive thru service I've ever gotten, Shawn!! Very kind and enthusiastic, especially at 2 am!! I would also like to thank BK for not having their ice cream/ milk shake machine down!

Perpetually understaffed. Perpetually slow. Perpetually inaccurate. Do yourself a favor and keep driving there is a McDonald's across the street.

The nuggets were old, the burger not the best, and the fries were just ok. Nothing struck as fresh within the last 10 minutes. The tables are dirty and the ketchup was empty. There was a gentleman handing out mints. Very cool thing to do, after you get the dining room cleaned. There is a girl cleaning windows, but not tables. I am not very impressed but the staff was friendly.

This review is specifically for the Whopperito. My youngest daughter and I went into the restaurant yesterday to try the Whopperitos since they looked good on the commercials. We both agreed that they were a huge disappointment. They did not taste at all like Whoppers, but instead tasted like they were from Taco Bell (but not as good mainly because there was no cheese and/or sour cream). The commercials make it look like the meat is a Whopper patty that is broken apart, but instead it is finely ground, again like Taco Bell uses. We felt like we should have gone to Taco Bell to eat since the burritos there are much better than the Whopperito. BK should drop this from the menu immediately. Neither of us will order another. As far as the restaurant itself, the store is newer, clean, and pleasant. The staff was friendly except that nobody mentioned the survey on the receipt so we threw it out. I only saw that there was a survey after trying to contact the company to let them know that we found their latest offering to be unsatisfactory.

Took about 15 minutes for a chicken sandwich that nobody seemed to know needed to be made. Won't be coming back to this clueless location ever again. Spent most of my lunch from work waiting for the sandwich.

I would give this burger a negative rating if I could, my son his friends and my daughter went in ordered their whopper meals and kids meal, great fine... They find hairs in most of the food, ok I was at work I come home my children tell me what happened so I call, I ask for the manager they put her on the phone I tell her the problem, immediately she says oh yeah you called the one on van dyke right? WTF trying to trick me into saying it's another Burger King no I said the one on big beaver next to the Nordstrom rack... She insists so you called the one on can dyke right that's the one you went to, I get upset and tell her NO BIG BEAVER IN TROY. So I call her out on that she went from rude and crude to sweet and calm when I did, decides to replace the order BUT does not give the complete order gives the kids stale burgers with nothing on them so we ended up throwing them in the trash. The manager seems like a manipulating mommy dearest type. Horrible people skills would not recommend.

WORST SERVICE I'VE HAD IN A LOOOONG TIME!!!! I ordered a frozen coke. They came to the window after It took 8 minutes to pay and said they didn't have frozen coke did I want Cherry....I said ok. Then they came back saying they don't have cherry either. So I asked for a frozen Lemonade. They brought me two and I thought it was cus they didn't have what I asked for. But then they said ohhh that's the wrong order. And took one of the Lemonades back and threw it in the garbage. Rather then asking if I'd like it. The fries we ordered were so cold my 8 year old daughter wouldn't eat them. I asked for hot fries. They said to pull forward....which we did. We sat waiting for 15 minutes, while we ate the rest of our food. I went inside and they said oh we got busy...we forgot about you. So we'll give you large fries for your smalls!!!!! That's it after all that I was expecting my money back.......horrible customer service. This is all at 8:15 at night after my daughter had dance and I just needed to get her dinner and into bed,

My first and last trip here ever. All i ordered was a grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo... What do i get? A soggy piece of crispy chicken covered in mayo. It was very slow and there was myself and one more car in the drivethru so there definatley wasnt a rush going on...... And these folks want 15/hr. .

I ordered 2 whoppers, 2 small satis fries, 10 piece chicken nuggets, and 2 small coke zeros. Whoppers were ok. Fries were TERRIBLE. This is the second time I ordered the satis fries here. I figured sometimes fast food can have bad days. You can totally tell it was sitting and saturated in oil. This is twice this happened. Now I know for fact, they do not make these fries fresh. I work in Detroit and have ordered these fries plenty of times. These fries taste bomb when fresh. Not only were the fries terrible, nuggets did not seem freshly cooked. Never ever will go to this Burger King location.
