It's a Burger King nothing special, right? Well this Burger King is unique in it's decor. Old movie posters like Back to the Future 3, Jaws, a large shark bursting out of the wall, ET and his crew floating over you as you wait to order. They plan to remodel and probably won't keep the movie theme. The decor does need to be cleaned up but it's sad that they might remove it all. There is also a drive-thru. The service was fair, nothing special. I got in, and I got out with no problems.

This place is heart breaking. I used to love to come here as a kid. All the movie posters, Rock memorabilia, and the fake 1950's car table on the second floor were SO cool! Now however, the entire display is covered with a thick layer of dust, the car table on the second floor is gone, the wallpaper is peeling, and the place is generally disgusting and blighted. I added pictures of the ET display that is genuinely very cool, but also filthy. These are suspended above where you order your food. These need to be taken down and dusted or cleaned more than every 5 years! The love that went into the remodel so many years ago clearly has dwindled. I don't think this would pass a food inspection in it's current state.

Burger King in DC I guess has a different system than the others where they select which coupons are valid on the Burger King app. NO KING DEALS HERE WOW. It’s kind of strange that the app is fo all Burger Kong’s but not this one. Please explain why ???? Update I asked server from drive through window of why the coupon on Burger King wasn’t honored she stated the manager told not today WOW without any reasonable explanation. Please check your coupon at the Connecticut Avenue NW location before you order they come up with their own rules for the consumer.

Amazing that this place exists! Frozen in time. The 90's are alive and well in this extraordinary Burger King. The Impossible Whopper was good. The fries were delicious and definitely beat out McDonald's fries.

One of the worst BKs that I've ever experienced. Repeated service issues over time, attitude issues and outright false statements sometimes made here. Example: completed a mobile order, to be picked up via Drive Thru. Order included a large sized light lemonade. When I pickup the order, I was asked to confirm the drink I chose (huh? mobile order would tell you, no?). I mentioned that large light lemonade. In a less than pleasant voice and body language, sorry we don't carry lemonade. Ummm okay, it's available in the app but fine. What do you have in soft drinks? Response: Coke products. Okay, Diet Coke please. I proceed to be handed a small diet coke. I asked but I order a large soft drink, why am I getting a small sized drink? Response: lemonade is not the same price as soda. Uh? How would you know, given that you don't carry lemonade? Plus aren't all soft drinks typically priced the same at BK (all the same price for the same size)? I get a dismissive eyeroll and they leave. Another employee, more formally dressed (perhaps a manager) provides me a large sized Diet Coke. I do mention that I don't appreciate lying. They don't acknowledge nor state anything, simply hand the drink over and leave. As for the food ordered with that drink. Barely warm. Food inspectors should spot check this place. Some serious retraining needs to be done here, else find new staff. NW DC deserves better.

I gave it one star because I wouldn't be able to rate it otherwise. Went there tonight at 11:30. Wanted to order at the cash register and they refused with the explanation: this is only possible with an EC card with a chip swipe, unfortunately my card does not have this function. And by the way, the toilets are closed at 11 pm. I don't know why the shop is still open. At other branches, the order was also accepted politely at the checkout. The staff should be trained on customer friendliness. I would advise against a visit. Kind regards

Website and signs all say they close at 12:30am. We arrived at midnight and the employees had already locked the doors and refused to serve us.
