Burger King

Lena and Carlos just made my take out experience (in a snow storm) so amazing. They went above and beyond making sure I was set with everything before I left making the transportation of supper for my children as easy as can be. You do NOT see this type of service often now a days. You could tell they take pride in customer care and efficiency in service!

So... ordered 1 triple whopper and 3 bacon kings... The Whopper? Dry as dry could be. I literally had to add my own ketchup because the splat was so sad. And the patties? Burnt to a crisp on the edges and smelled like the gas from the grill. The bacon kings? Since when is 1.5 measly slices of bacon okay? Again, sad splat of ketchup on each, burnt, and... um, where's the mayo? Seriously! All three of them were missing mayo. Barely edible. At least I got them on sale with my Walmart+ perks. This is the only place I've found where I can get burgers for breakfast. I work nights, I don't want breakfast stuff when I get off. So I'm definitely not happy. Will be holding off on going back for awhile. Oh, and guy couldn't find my mobile order even though I was there 1 minute after the requested done by time. It was sleeting/snowing. I wanted to get home before it got too slick, but nope, sitting there waiting. Atmosphere was good though... I love the interior of my car.

Stopped in and ordered breakfast on the kiosk the morning of December 21st. After I noticed no employees were to be found except for one guy back in the kitchen I said hello to get their attention. The lady who walked up to the counter and said ya, what do you need? was very rude. I said I ordered food and she said ya! I know! , then bagged the food and looked very angry. No thank you or anything. I've been coming to this location for years and used to be a loyal customer but stopped coming here after I was treated with similar service the last time I was here. It appears there's been a staff change over the last year, as the old staff was always smiling and very polite. Can't say the same for the new staff. I think I finally learned my lesson this time though. I thought I would give them one more chance, but after today I will continue to take my business elsewhere. Also the hash browns have tasted like old fryer grease the last couple times I have been to this location. Pretty gross.

Honestly people were okay but service was bad. You can tell they don’t give a damn at this location. I ordered my food and it came out so bad make me never wanting to get BK there. I could say a lot more but it’s not like I would get my money back without my receipt so I’m just writing this review. I learned to just go over to B-bop across from there for a burger. Won’t be coming back. I advise all people who live near the Windsor Heights location go elsewhere for burgers. They are bland.

I understand you have a kiosk but that doesn't mean the customer service goes downhill. Stood around for over three minutes with the lady at drive thru staring over at us without a word. No greeting no smile nothing...ordered drinks and there was no Dr pepper no coke....barely anything on the damn machine. Sprite is nasty and watered down...food was mid when breakfast is usually the best part of their menu. Will not return

Working a show in Des Moines over the weekend and had to make a quick stop for breakfast this morning 7:30 am 07Nov2025. I ordered inside, and the woman who waited on me, I think she was manager, her name is Ro, was very nice and patient. She took time to tell me about her store’s charitable donations and how they were able to provide scholarships for several young people last year. This made for a very nice morning for me, thank you. Oh and the breakfast croissant and iced coffee were so good.

Ordered chicken fries and bacon. Cheeseburger. Asked the manager or duty for fresh chicken fries hot out of the fryer. I told him I was more than happy to wait. He pretended he didn't understand me and I repeated myself twice. When the food came the chicken fries were warm at best. The burger was less than warm. Disappointing.

Frequent customer here. I’ve had issues in the past that were easy resolved after reaching out to management. Great food and great service.

I'm not sure what happened a year ago to trigger all the horrible reviews, but I've stopped there half a dozen times over the last four or five months and it's fine. And let's be honest it's a Burger King so it's never going to get four stars or higher. But it's clean the times I've been through. It's been fast, I really can't complain.

I expect perfect food if I'm going to pay for what I ask. Have it your way correct? So my problem was soggy onion rings and no cheese on the whopper when I clearly asked and paid for it. What a shame with this catch-phrase.

I've been coming here the past few days and have been addicted to coming to this location specifically. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. The new interior and upgraded equipment makes this place feel cozy. The service is amazing as well and I give a big round of applause to the whole staff in this location as a whole. I've been recommending others to try to eat at this location. Very deserved 5 stars

If I could give this location ZERO stars I would. And I don't say that lightly. Where do I start? The last time I was there the wait was insanely long, they asked me to pull up to the front, then messed up my order several times before I finally went home with nothing resolved. And the building itself is NASTY. The first window is never used, which isn't that big of a deal but it's covered in this MASSIVE spider web! In fact, the whole building is covered in cobwebs like a haunted house which is incredibly unappetizing to see let alone unsanitary for a food establishment--if it's that bad on the inside and the service is this horrible do you really want to *risk* eating there?? PLEASE power wash your building and retrain your staff!! It's unfortunate because I've gone to this location in the past and it was "okay" but WOW has it gone downhill!!

I ordered from the bk app and went thru drive thru 4/22 about 6:15 pm. The cashier handed me my order and I asked him was it all there? He said yes. When I stopped in the parking lot to check it, only half was there. He didn't tell me the truth. I was pissed. I decided to go inside to get the rest of my items. The counter cashier was very apologetic and gave me the rest of my items. This is not the first time I have had problems at this location. I don't know why I keep going back. McDonald's gets old but at least they get my order correct 90% more times then bk! I don't know how they are still open. Get your act together!!!!!

Just ordered some food in the drive thru. The lady taking the order was so rude. She would leave us hanging after we ordered each food item. It was only four things too. She responded with an attitude and when we came up to the window she kept cussing for who knows why. Horrible customer service. If I could rate this negative I would. Never ever coming back. I'll just go to McDonald's next time.

If I could give it negative stars I would! This Burger King is a mess! Don't come here! Twice in a row I have waited over 15 minutes on the drive through, the staff is rude and inept, and they act as if they don't care. While I was waiting in line (3/31/21 9:10 pm, got here 8:45), I saw angry customers with mixed up orders having to come inside from the drive through. Be warned, avoid this place!

I went to here and I ordered a burger and a slushy and my burger was iced cold nd my slushy was hot

Legit the worst Burger King I've ever been at! They forgot two items that we ordered! We only realized once home. Not usually an issue if it happens once but this has happened over 10 f*ing times. How hard is it to fill a f*ing order correctly. Do your job it's not hard! I'm going to contact corporate!

I was looking for a quick bite to eat but as we entered the drive thru, Burger King had different plans. It seems that there were issues with the drive thru equipment. I couldn't quite hear all that was being asked and said. After the 10 minute wait and 10 counting being served the food and waiting behind the people in front of me, it seems the issues lay in the management there. There were only two people in the whole store! I don't blame the people at the window at all for being severely understaffed. I think management here need to check themselves or see themselves out of business.

Terrible, terrible service. To begin with, some staff was setting on counter with their friends on the other side. One girl was discussing why she married her husband (who was there on the customer side of the counter) and then she remembered. She married him because he had a large sex organ, although that was not the word she used. Additionally, we had to wait 30-35 minutes for 2 orders of chicken nuggets, 3 cheese sticks, 2 burgers and one shake. Received no condiments as in BBQ sauce for the nuggets or marinara for the cheese sticks. However, we were charged for 1 BBQ sauce, which we shouldn't have been charged for to begin with because the nuggets come with sauce. The service at this store has been going down hill for awhile but now has hit rock bottom and we will not be back.

Hi, I'm very disappointed in this Burger King store due to the fact that tonight I ordered and purchased a 20-piece regular nuggets and a medium soft drink. What did I receive? One 10-piece spicy nuggets and no straw for my drink. I had to wait in drive-thru for roughly 12 minutes. I was also told that my order was not being displayed on their monitors even though I payed for it. A few weeks ago, I ordered a chocolate Oreo shake and received a vanilla Oreo shake, also a long waiting period. Terrible service. Very disappointing store.

This spot is usually not to bad of a place to go. Today, it was 6:35 when I went. He said I was not open yet then copped an attitude when I waited for him to open. I won't be going there anymore. Dropped off in service.

My friends and I ordered delivery from this location, and had to wait three and a half hours. We of course tried to call and they responded rudely with "that's not our problem, you need to call the driver". Horrible customer service from the manager. When the food finally arrived it was cold, and incorrect. The driver was very nice and helpful.

They honestly don't have the best service but what really makes me angry is that online it tells us that they are open until midnight but they are always closed hours before that. Just a little disappointing.

Burger King's are Burger King's. Everybody knows what they are and what they have for chow. This BK however really lacks in customer service. I have had multiple times where the employees are either distracted by their own personal conversations or just rude. Last Sunday I stopped at drive through and waited 15 minutes behind the speaker because they were only taking one order at a time and finishing it at the window before taking the next order. Just horrible. If in the area looking for quick burgers go to B-Bops.

Eating lunch at BK and it was fast and they had two registers open so it made it go faster. You know what your getting at BK but they were friendly and eager to help. Food was hot and good.

The breakfast sandwiches were very cold and uncooked. We felt nauseated after eating here.
