Hidden Burger Gem at High Fives! We had such a great time at High Fives! We came specifically for Burger Schmurger—which isn’t easy to find because it’s tucked inside the bar—but it’s so worth it! We had the Schmurger and the Maverick with French fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. I’m a huge fan of a good smashed patty, and these burgers were perfection! The venue itself has a super cool, laid-back vibe and stays steady with business all day, but the service never missed a beat. Maddie behind the bar was amazing—handling a busy crowd like a pro while still giving top-notch, friendly service. We’ll definitely be back for more burgers, fries, and great vibes. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re in the area!

We finally made it to give this place a try. Alexa was our server and she was great! She recommended the mozzarella sticks and the cheese pull was great! I wish I’d taken better pictures. We had the OG and the Maverick burgers, both delicious and the fries were the best fries I’ve had in a while! Flavor was perfect! Service was quick, friendly and the vibe was perfect for a Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

The burgers are some of the best I’ve ever had, and definitely top tier in all of Texas. The meat is juicy and flavorful, the fries are crispy with a great amount of seasoning. The choices of sauce are plenty and I have to recommend this place to all burger lovers.

I was really excited to finally try Burger Schmurger after seeing so much hype. While this location doesn’t have the same wait times as the new brick and mortar one, the menu is severely limited. When we went, they had the Schmurger but were not offering fries and most of the other menu items. The Schmurger was made really well and one of the better smash burgers I have had; however, it was disappointing not having the whole meal. Because of the menu limitations, I will probably not come back to this location but would be excited to go to the brick and mortar shop.

ame location as High Five bar. There are two other places right there so can be confusing. Burger is amazing. Doesn't have the lettuce tomato, "everything" was cheese onions and pickles. There is an array of sauces including mayo and ketchup plus varying sauces served with our fries. The fries were good and can be a share option. The only cons were the lettuce tomato and I wish the burger was a little bigger. It was very good.

FOR FIRST TIMERS… If you saw the Til Tok videos and you are looking for the place with the “Burger Schmurger” sign on the front of the building, you are looking for the BUCKNER location. If you go to this location, do NOT look for “Burger Schmurger” signs. The bar is called “HIGH-FIVE” and you will enter through THE BAR. You will also order your food at the bar. I’ve yet to glad clarity on how this place is associated with the Buckner location but I will update this review when I find out. The location is confusing to get to (if you have on your mind that you’re looking for a “Burger Schmurger” sign). Again, we figured out that we needed to go to the bar. Parking is a pain because parking in the neighborhood is restricted and valet loves to capitalize and monopolize on the available spaces. So I’d give a ONE STAR for parking. If you find a spot, great! The bar… we went on a Friday night, code to 7pm. Not many people in there. Not sure if this is the norm or an anomaly but it was t packed… which was nice. We felt safe, cool vibes, very clean. We ordered at the bar. The prices are reasonable and the menu is simple. We ordered two “OG’s” and the Schmurger Fries. All great choices for a grand total of $47. The food came out quickly. The order was correct, hot, and plentiful. The overall taste was amazing. Loved it. We have to try the Buckner location but this place was great. Highly recommend!

For my wife, this is the best burger in town, and I think #2 for me (I’m a huge fan of Maple & Motor). But the flavor of the meat is second to none. I’m sure you already know, but it’s a “smash-style” burger, it’s messy, and the menu is very limited, but they’re excellent. The fries are great, too. A basket of fries is big enough for a table and comes with several dipping sauces, which is nice. Plain ranch is not one of them, though, so if that’s your gig, just ask for some on the side. The one less-than-glowing note I’ll add is that the hot dog is just a regular ol’ hot dog. I tried it once and won’t get it again. Oh, one more thing to add - it’s in a bar, High Fives, with sort of a sports bar feel to it, and does have a patio which I *believe* is dog-friendly, but check first. If eating in a bar isn’t your thing, they’re supposedly opening a real restaurant pretty soon.

If it’s one thing I know, it’s burgers and this hands down has to be one of the best in Texas that’s I’ve ever had! It had the perfect amount of cheese and it was the perfect temperature and the perfect bite. Nothing was wrong with this burger! I literally hugged the chef after I took the first bite and wish I could post the video so you guys can see live reactions but it’s hands down worth it and a MUST TRY
