Best burger in my life. Perfect smash with juicy steak. The bread is small and soft. Had the Oklahoma which comes with grilled onions, 10 out of 10. Fries were also very good. Place isn't the best but the burger makes it worth it.

Good old classic Oklahoma burger made to perfection right down the crisp, cool dill pickles chips. I loved every bite and the fries are top notch as well. I believe my cook was David and he was very friendly and quick. I just happened to be there to pick up a family member and tried the burger in impulse and I'm very glad I did.

Seriously don't know what all the hype is about. The burgers are $9 for a single and $14 for a double. They were small and so basic. The fries were all small like the bottom of a bag of fries and there's no combo so you have to order everything separate. I let my friend have the fries, its annoying picking at tiny fries, he left them too. Overall its expensive and very basic. There's a smash burger spot nearby thats $3/burger. I should've gone to that instead

I’ve been to the original Burger She Wrote in LA many times, so I tried the new Venice location today. The burger and fries were identical- and delicious! There are only 2 tables at this location, so you may have to take your food over toward the beach and find a place to eat there. But there’s a shave ice place right next door, and an ice cream place three doors down.

bummer. been wanting to try this place for a while because so many people recommend it. it was just ok. an order for 2 people was screwed up multiple ways. ordered 1 double smash and one oklahoman, and got 2 double smash with one being plain? they also gave us fries on accident (but I think they were for another party). nothing was really cooked/prepared with much care. a bottled water was 4 bucks. 4 stars is generous i guess.

I started going to burger she wrote because all the famous people like timothee chalomet and Tyler and Kim Kardashian love it so much. Now I go because it’s the best burger I’ve ever had and I can’t go back to normal burgers. It’s 100% wagyu smash burgers. So crispy and flavorful. I’m addicted! And they have the best fries, better than in n out…

SmashBurger is DAMN good, not gonna lie. And I’m picky with burgers. It was juicy, flavorful and the bun and toppings were on point. Honestly, my new go to spot in Venice. Great price too! 👌🏻

Great burgers! I love it. Can't get enough of it, they are using 100% American wagyu and Kings Hawaiian buns.

Bun was cold like it just came out the fridge, the patty was absolutely flavorless. I don't think this location is getting any love, it didn't even look like they were open. There's a new smash place a few blocks up. Will try that next time, definitely not coming back here. 1 strike you're out in 2025.

Been a consistent patron of their Fairfax location, honestly believe it's one of the best burgers in LA. Went with my guys to grub at this location and when the burger came out I was dumbfounded. Burger had no skirt, and the cheese was as cold as the northern regions of Wisconsin. I was extremely eager to put my guys on this fantastic spot, but after one bite my boys response was "this burger is so mid". Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the burger at this location and the music from the shop next door was unnecessary.

I got a oklahoma smash burger. It was amazing. Its probably the best burger on the boardwalk. Maybe consistency is an issue ive only been once. But the one time i went i had the best burger ever. Seriously. I eat a lot of burgers too. ILL BE BACK. SORRY I DIDNT TIP. IM POOR.
