Yelp
I'd been to the Laurel location a number of times years ago and was pleased to learn one had opened much closer to me!
I've been to the Rockville location twice now and service is fast and friendly. Both times we ordered a basic cheeseburger, hotdog, chicken tenders, onion rings, fries, and chocolate shakes. The quality was good both times, so consistency between experiences is off to a good start.
The first time the app and website could not get an order to go through, even with our account logged in. But we were able to order in store and use the rewards in our app without any trouble. Our second order, the website cooperated and we were able to order ahead. The food was ready at the quoted time, including the milkshakes*
*Milkshake detour: they were unfortunately missing the whip cream and chocolate toppings, we didn't know until we got home as they were sealed in a bag. Also they have open lids to accommodate where the whip cream would usually be, so this makes the journey a little treacherous if you don't know this and the bag tips at all FYI)
The burgers are good, for a reference point they kind of make me think of Shake Shack in style. The downside as I see it, is that they don't offer meal combos, so the fries, onion rings, and drinks are all a la carte, so it adds up a little. Especially because, not unlike 5 guys, the smallest fry serving is still too much for me and fries just don't save or reheat well. I'd be happier paying for a smaller portion of fries or onion rings (huge, tasty rings, but too much for me alone) to come with my burger, dog, or tenders.
The hot dogs (wagyu beef) are also generously portioned. Chicken tenders come as 3 or 5 and are delicious- still juicy, not overly breaded or soggy.
Located in Pike and Rose, the interior of the store has plenty of seating, is clean, and lots of great fresh air with accordion glass doors they can open on nice days. There is also dedicated patio seating, at least a few tables right out front. The only issue is, of course, parking, but these designed centers like Pike and Rose, Downtown Crown, Rockville Square, all have that issue.
We will definitely be frequenting this location now that we know it's here :)
