Burgers@ Manassas

Friday lunch. We came here for lunch on our way to uptown alley for a burger. Then we stopped in for the first time. Very helpful not crowded. We had the bull run burger. With onion rings. What I like about the onion ring was it was actually crispy on the outside. The burger was well done but juicy. I enjoyed the clean tables......

The burger was pretty good, the fried chicken sandwich was a bit greasy but okay. The sweet potatoes fries were better than the regular fries. But the atmosphere of the place is very cool. Recommend to atleast try once!

Present for a Sorority event every 2nd Friday. This was me and my family's first time there. Happy that it's a black owned establishment. There were only 2 servers and seemed quite overwhelmed with the orders and timing of orders. Our server needed frequent reminders for food items and condiments. We had 2 chicken baskets and 1 fish sandwich. Great atmosphere and music.

Great new place in Manassas. The staff was very welcoming and friendly with a great sense of humor and camaraderie. The burgers have great umami and the sweet potato fries are soft inside and crispy outside. BUT the onion rings are a food group. A delicious, fat, crunchy food group. Don't let the "small" menu fool you - there are unlimited options. Nom.

Reserved for a private party. A friend of ours was able to reserve the restaurant for a private going away party. During that time the staff was very attentive. The burger and fries were good. And the atmosphere was fun. Would recommend.

Amazing personal service. Both of my sons couldn’t get enough of the fries and all of us enjoyed the different burgers. Highly recommend going here! We also were allowed to try specialized sauce made that day! A great hot sauce!

I had a bull run burgers so good highly recommend! Loved the artwork on the wall the Playlist was on point and they had a setup for live music. So if your in for great food and people stop on by!

Very good food, good portions, and excellent decor/environment. I've seen the occasional complaint here about service, but I had no problems (granted, I dined here at what seemed to be a slower time where I was the only person for the most part. I'm not sure what service at a busier time would be like). Overall, very happy with my experience. The only real con I can think of is the meal was a bit pricier than I would normally pay for just myself (Roughly $25 for the Bull Run Burger as a meal with fries), but the portion was enough that I wasn't unhappy with the money spent-- I've paid similar prices for less fulfilling meals. I'd definitely consider visiting again on a weekend night with friends, and perhaps trying their bar.

We've been twice and the service was great both times. They have a nice dining room with ample seating. In general the food is good. I do wish we were able to request how we would like our burgers cooked. They're fine but for my personal preference I like burgers cooked closer to medium and these are well done. I also wish they would add more beer and wine options. The beer is essentially what you would find at a gas station (bud, bud lite, Miller, coors, etc.) No IPAs, Belgian style ales or anything craft. They also don't have chardonnay, which is like a staple for many people. But, all in all, its a nice a place.

Friday night, around 7pm, my partner and I finally decide to try this place out while we're in the area. When we walked in all the tables were reserved and there were a few people sitting at the bar. Didn't know there was an event going on because it wasn't displayed on their website on my end, so if you're not a local in the area or just don't use facebook, then there's confusion in that aspect of what's going on like how it was for us. We weren't greeted or told to get out when we were hovering by the entrance so we were just kinda standing in a gray zone of what should we do. Burger and fries were okay, would rather have a spot that has a concentrated menu with good items than a place with more and subpar food. We might come again for lunch rather than dinner next time!

First time going to Burgers at Manassas. We decided to go because they were having live music on Saturday night. It was disappointing because the band was supposed to start playing at 8:00 but didn't start until 9:30. When they did start playing the acoustics were not good, for the size of the restaurant the music was too loud. On top of that if you wanted to order food you could only order at the bar. Service was good. Only ordered a couple drinks and appetizers which were good. Didn't get to order a burger. Maybe I'll go back another time, we'll see

Well this will for sure be the last time I go to this place. As a white woman who was married to black man for 30 plus years, lived in many places, and was the manager of national music artists and bands, I've gotten more than my share of dirty looks and cold shoulders but I can honestly say that I have NEVER experienced the attitude as I did tonight. EVERY table was reserved with no one sitting at them. There were no stools at the bar so there was no where to sit or even stand comfortably. The female bartender TOTALLY ignored me for at least 5 minutes (she was doing nothing, not like she was busy) she only served me when the guy behind the bar, taking out the trash saw me standing there and asked what I wanted, she went over to make the drink and did not say ONE WORD to me, not a thank you or a F U. One lady said I could sit at the one and only high top in the back. By the time I got my drink the table was conveniently gone! I ended up sitting on the outside just so I could drink my drink and got lots of other dirty looks from other females with the band. All I can say is good luck ya'all! Let's say how long you stay in business with this kind of atmosphere! ;)

No complaints whatsoever about this place. Good food, good service, etc. Tried it for the first time and wasn't disappointed. All around good burger place.

$$$$ Overpriced with bad ambiance. Went there today and got just a Double cheeseburger with a coke and fries and it cost $30 (5 dollar tip). The fries were oily and so were the patties. The sad part is that if this place just lowered its prices, turned on its lights and lowered the music so the customers could listen to each others conversation this would be a busy place (And the burgers need kosher/sea salt). But no, it seems the owner is to into their own ego for there vision for the location instead of serving the customer base and to make money. Know your clientele. I bet if they served tacos (affordable) and played some other types of music their bar would also be making money and not sit empty like their restaurant for the last 6 mo. Just okay for crazy prices. Unimpressive menu for the restaurant to be called burgers their burger selection is less than McDonald's. When I think of a burger place I think of fudruckers and this place just doesn't compare. I will never understand why someone invests so much money into a place and then fails on being creative and building a clientele. Good luck staying open unless you change your approach.

Brand new place. Bucky, the manager was extremely friendly as was the rest of staff. Apollo Burger was cooked perfectly and delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

I was looking for a good burger for dinner so I googled and was intrigued by this place. The burger, onion rings and fries were good. The 45 minutes waiting for the food wasn't. The place wasn't very busy and seemed well staffed so the long wait was even more perplexing. The 35 cent up charge for extra pickles and 35 cents for the Mambo sauce on the side instead of on the burger, not extra sauce was crazy when you consider it was close to twenty dollars fir the meal with drink. I will not be back for these reasons. The vibe is a bit odd...DC gogo is the other reviewers take and I will leave it at that.
