Found this place on a whim and lucked out. Nestled at the base of some apartment building beside the San Antonio River, this place surpassed my expectations. Burgerteca provides a great atmosphere with art and decorations, and the food holds its own as well. We had a salad, Mac bowls, chicken sandwich, and chili burger. Everything was really good. They have generous portions. They also have coffee, we ordered the cafe de olla and churro iced latte. Both really good.

We had a lunch group of 12 people at this restaurant yesterday. It was my first time eating here. The service was great and superb. Our food came out fast. The decor was on point. They had great seating indoors and patio seating outdoors. This location is great for small get-togethers family or lunch date. They have a delicious menu to choose from and delicious drinks.

The coworkers and I had been trying to make it here for a while. It was so worth the wait. The flavors were innovative and adventurous. The atmosphere was fun and beautiful. I can't wait to go back to try the drinks when I don't have to go back to work.

Google
This place is really big and has a huge coffee and food menu. I had the Pina Colada and even though it took awhile for it to come out (I think they were training the employees) it was really delicious and sweet! I also ordered the chicken burrito bowl. It was absolutely delicious BUT it was very small for the price!! And after looking at other reviews and photos, it's very obvious that we got ripped off because other people's burrito bowls were wayyyyyyy bigger. We got served like HALF of what other people got which is not fair. In total for a drink and the bowl + tip I paid around $40usd! If the portions were bigger I would definitely come back otherwise it's really pricey.

The burger was juicy i ordered a side of fries but the burger doesn't need any sides can eat by itself. The bowl was packed with flavour has bean, rice, chicken. Will be stopping by again.

Our server was as attentive as she could be considering the place seemed under staff. Food and appetizers were good. NOTE to management. Staff for the business you want, not the business that you have.

Cute spot in Southtown to try. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Delicious food! - I tried the Chipotle chicken sandwich and the Burger. Iced coffee and a churro for dessert was ❤️❤️❤️ Will definitely be going back.

Loved the vibe and decor, the waitress was nice but seem like she was over it, as the food was delicious.

Yelp
Came here Sunday morning after a bike ride on the Riverwalk. They're right on the bike path. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space and seems like chill vibes all around. It wasn't too busy when we got there. They have a pretty extensive caffeine menu. I got the churro latte and my wife got the horchata latte. They came in GIANT mugs and was not too sweet so brewed to my liking. Would like to try other drinks in the future. We also got good there at a reasonable price. The burrito bowl was bomb. The al pastor burger was a little too greasy imo but still tasty overall. Service was a bit slow but that's because they only had one wait staff working. She was a champ.

Yelp
What a fun place for a meal; It's large, and bright & decorated with lots of cutesy stuff. I went for lunch but after the rush so the food didn't take long to come out. The food was beautifully presented. Everyone in my party was pleased with their food . I was bummed to hear that they're turning the place into a sports bar. I hope that it doesn't loose it's quaintness in the transition

Yelp
While I do like Chef Hernandez's other concepts, this one just doesn't live up to what I've experienced at his other establishments. It is a convenient spot for me to grab a drink when family comes to visit Southtown, but it's outweighed by the lackluster food and all the other restaurant choices within walking distance of Burgerteca. It just doesn't make sense to eat here to me, not to mention management has been fairly rude. Great ambience though.

Yelp
Enjoyed the foods, drink, and service Burgerteca provided our group. Our server Valeria was all over it. If we needed it, she got it. In the south of Southtown, there is a place... three places actually, depending on what you're hankerin' for. Burgeteca, Maragarita Garden, and Southtown Coffee are all housed under the same roof. So, you can practically stay here from dusk til dawn. On this particular occasion we went down for burgers or margaritas, but we found both were amazing. I ate the chile con queso burger with sweet potato fries. It was good. Liz took down a carne asada burger without even me getting a bite, so it too must have been good. The queso was delicious, but like all heated quesos... you have to eat it while it's hot, or it will harden - fine for burgers, less so for chips. Before and after food, we all enjoyed a variety of the margarita fare. I started with a pineapple paloma... i could have stayed with this one all afternoon, but I'm an adventurer. I had them make me an off the menu spicy margarita, which was pretty good, I should have stayed with the on the menu selections. The hibiscus blossom was refreshing and the Bee Sting was honey-licious - if you're into honey. All the drinks were unique in taste and presentation. The staff were super friendly, there was plenty of street parking closer to the venue, but not much, so make sure to get there during the off hours to secure close parking. All in all great time at the margarita, burger, coffee joint.

Yelp
Had to visit based on what was being offered for restaurant week $20 Lunch First course: Mac and cheese with bacon Second course: BBQ Bacon cheese burger Fried red onions smothers in BBQ sauce Dessert: churros Sandía loca: Titos Vodka Watermelon (keep reading) What's a steal, right?! Mac and cheese w/bacon was cheesy and had bacon for every bite. If you're a bbq sauce fan, expect a finger licking meal (or try to ask for bbq on the side so you could control the amount you'd like in your burger). There was another type sauce on the bottom... a bit sweet but couldn't pinpoint was it was. The churros were perfectly warm, crunchy, but super soft in the center. Unfortunately the drink was not included as their menus had a handwritten $10 on it (I assumed it was the value, but confirmed it was not included with the lunch deal and was an addition $10 charge if we wanted it). Understanding it is still a good cost, and may have been a clerical error when they made the menu. The meal was large and had left overs (but man, I really wanted that drink included lol) Staff was friendly, service was smooth as there were many people. Our server was on point and very professional. The place was clean, and music was popping (but not too loud) $20 was a good value - a very flavorful meal

Yelp
Great service and atmosphere but food is nothing special. Pros: the bright and colorful restaurant creates a fun and family friendly atmosphere. It's welcoming and fresh. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. They're friendly and make sure you're taken care of. Cons: the food is ok but it's nothing special. I think the highlight was the mole fries but the mole was a little one note. I was expecting more complexity. The red onion really helped bring it up a notch! The big disappointment was the chile con queso burger. The beef tasted almost unseasoned. I'm not joking I've had more seasoned patties from Whataburger. The queso was a little plastic like and I couldn't detect even a hint of chile. I was hoping for some spicy rich complexity but it really fell flat. The crunchy tortilla chips took away from the burger and only really added a bland somewhat crunch. The toasted bun was nice but I was hoping for more all around.

Yelp
Can you say yummy! You had me at taco style burger. I'm at a loss of words it's so good! I'll definitely come back

Chris C.

Yelp
Amazing burger place. The menu has just the right number of items. The place is clean and I love that the outside area is mostly shaded. The staff is friendly. The food was amazing. Parking can be confusing since the signs say residents and the restaurant, but there are some spots designated for Butgerteca, you just have to pay attention to the painted signs on the street.

Yelp
My oldest son and his wife came down yesterday to hang out with me for Father's Day. We spent the day going from place to place trying out new breweries, brew pubs, and restaurants. We chose to visit Burgerteca because it was on the Burger Week list. They wanted to eat a couple of the listed burgers at different venues so they could both try them and support the fundraiser. There isn't a lot of parking right at the restaurant, but we got lucky and got one right across the street. That was fortunate, since it was so hot that a hike from parking would have been rough. When we got inside, there weren't any tables available inside. The server told us there would be about a twenty-five minute wait. Fortunately for us, there were exactly four seats available at the bar, so we ordered drinks and settled in for the wait. After a short while she told us that we could eat at the bar, if we wanted. We agreed to do that and ordered our food. About a minute after ordering, the server came back and moved us to a very nice table. The entire restaurant is pretty festive. They have lots of those beautiful Mexican statues. You can't help but feel like you are celebrating something. The food was really good. I had the Oaxaca burger, which was NOT the Burger Week offering. I couldn't settle for a bacon barbecue burger once I saw one with mole negro, black beans, pickled red onions, avocado, and queso fresco. It was a great choice and a great burger. I also ordered some mole french fries. They were amazing. My wife and I both had some of the venue-made ice cream. It was pretty good. They have about ten flavors to choose from. I had Kit-Kat. There were some tables that weren't being used, even though they were super busy. I think it was to make it easier on the two servers who were constantly in motion. This was one of those places where the AC was struggling to keep up. It was hard enough for them to keep up without adding customers. Our particular server seemed to be the boss. She not only greeted customers as they came in, she took orders, served food, helped clean up when guests left, and made drinks at the bar. She was awesome.

Yelp
Great Mexican style hotdog was very tasty and awesome. Served with fries. I drank a delicious lemonade but also has a coffee bar. Wonderful service and great decor

Yelp
I picked up a chicken burger from Burgerteca, after seeing it a couple of times, and I loved it! I'm a big fan of chicken burgers and this went to the top of my list. It was really juicy, it had a chipotle sauce, and the burger bun was perfectly soft. I didn't dine in but I loved the restaurant's vibe and I will be going back to dine in for sure. My burger was ready in 10 minutes and the service was 10/10.

Yelp
After a long day of traveling, I just wanted to go somewhere local for dinner. I want to say maybe a block or so away from our Airbnb was this cute restaurant called Burgerteca. So this restaurant is 3-in-1. In the morning, has a cute coffee show called Southtown Coffee, then in the afternoon and evening there's the bar and restaurant. Even before entering the restaurant, you're greeted with the immense colors of the artwork. You can tell the vibe was going to be so fun. There's seating outside and inside. If you do decide to sit outside, just let the waitress know. As soon as you open the doors, I was captivated by the vibrant colors and the piñatas that were hanging from the ceiling. It was really pretty and my daughter enjoyed counting the piñatas and trying to grab one LOL. Now the food! It's a simple menu, that has everything for your cravings. We ordered the chips and salsa, my daughter got the quesadilla kids meal, my husband got the Big Tex Classic and I gravitated to the Al Pastor burger. Back story.... I stopped eating burgers a couple of years ago because I got sick from eating one and kinda threw me off ever since. So back to the food... it's was amazing. The Salsa *chefs kiss*... not your typical tomatoes salsa. It was SALSA! although my daughter's quesadillas looked plain, I took a bite and the tortilla is knot your typical store bought one. It's as if they made it in house because it had some girth. But a good girth lol my husband loved his burger so much that he didn't even share with me LOL But yo, the Al Pastor burger is to die for. Literally the taco in a burger form! The pineapples were such a nice contrast with the juicy burger! Ah I literally wanna go back to order it and try all the other stuff

Victoria M.

Yelp
Burgers never disappoint when we hit up Burgerteca! Drinks and desserts are perfect for these hot Texas Summers! Homemade ice cream hits the spot every time! While the community dining is different it's a great ambiance overall! Service has been great every time we've visited! Family friendly spot!

Brenda G.

Yelp
Amazing burgers! Came here after watching sis do an Alamo half and I thought it was so thoughtful of her to pick this place since it had vegan options. The burger I got was vegan and was amazing. So flavorful!

Leticia G.

Yelp
We came in during lunch on a Monday. It was fairly empty so service was super quick. Two of us shared the queso fries with tomatillo, little bits of bacon, and of course, queso. Why am I not eating queso fries all the time?! They are so delicious. They are perfect for two to share but anymore people, and I would've just gotten my own. I also ordered the Oaxaca burger. I have a mixed review on that. On one hand, it's was very tasty and I did get pleasantly full from my entire meal. But on the other hand, looking at all of the pics of other burgers, mine seemed small and flat, like a plain burger in a kid's meal. The mole sauce was good but it could've used more queso fresco and maybe some greens added? Not sure, but I felt like it was lacking. My mouth still liked the taste though so I think I'll come back and just try something different. The restaurant itself is like a "muertos" theme. It is very cool, lively and eclectic. There is also a full bar and drinks look amazing, but it was too early to try one. Next time for sure.

Brian F.

Yelp
Place for tourists. Parking in the area isn't great, but they do have a few designated spots for Burgerteca. Food is okay, nothing special at all. It's happy hour-level. Reminds me of food you'd get a fiesta. Happy Hour is the time to come for sure. Staff is friendly, dining room super clean, but I wouldn't come here to eat. Sounds cliche, but there's way better Tex-mex spots workin 5-mins. You come to Burgerteca because it's trendy.

Amanda S.

Yelp
I cannot say enough great things about this place! I have tried many different items and love it all. My usual go to is a huge salad with grilled chicken and I always have to have the chips and queso, but recently I got the best macaroni I have had in my life! They have now started serving coffee as well and it is the best. I am downright addicted to the Nutella Latte now. All coffees also come with a mini churro! Everyone here is super friendly, and the ambiance is amazing with so much beautiful art to look at and the best music!!! 1000/10!

Matt G.

Yelp
Even though my food came out cold. Very cold. I had to return it. I will never take a redo on my order just me. The lady at the bar however was so nice that that is how this review gets all stars. Everyone was great. The other plates were cold too but they chose to eat anyway. The sliders look really good. I will go back to try them another day. The tots were also really good. It's a good place. Go try them. Very festive inside. You will like it.

Krystal D.

Yelp
I have never had "street corn" out of a can. They literally used a can of corn, didn't even drain the juice, and added some lime juice and cheese. No seasoning either. So if you're looking for some good street corn you might want to go somewhere else.

Jennifer V.

Yelp
Food and drinks were good, a little pricy but the atmosphere is nice. The Chipotle chicken sandwich was good but was expecting more.

Karla C.

Yelp
This was a fun find! I really enjoyed the food but the service was a little bit odd. The first waiter we had was awesome, he recommended I try the veggie burger which I really enjoyed. It's different because it's made out of beats, but I liked it. It comes with some slaw and sauce. A second waiter brought me my food asked me how it was and when I said "I like my burger" she replied with "I don't like that one". Her vibe was weird, but overall the location was really nice and the food was good. The star of the meal was the sweet potato fries, they were a 10/10. They have a dog friendly patio and sell ice cream.

Diana G.

Yelp
I was so surprised on how good the burgers were. We shared the tuna burger and the vegetarian burger. We also shared sweet potato fries. The veggie burger was delicious. It had great flavor. It also had little crisp to it. I would definitely get it again. The tuna burger was huge. It had two good sizes of tuna and lots of fresh avocado. They have inside and outside seating. I love that you can bring your dog and they even have puppy ritas. Parking is available on the parking garage next to it and it's free. They do have happy hour on weekdays. Service was a little slow.

Katie D.

Yelp
Wanted to try a burger place I'd never been, this was so disappointing, I wasn't expecting for my bun to be black, the waitress told me it was their Halloween bun, mind you I went a day after Halloween, the bun was dry, beef tasted like it was mixed with breadcrumbs it was so strange, did not taste like beef at all!!My basket of fries were hot, but tasted stale. Strange.I would not recommend this place or ever come back.

Adrian A.

Yelp
Everything was delicious!! Drinks were super good and refreshing the cheese was also good

Ronnie R.

Yelp
I was expecting more execution on the flavor Profile of the burger, in comparison I think the price doesn't justify the product.

Terry P.

Yelp
The restaurant is very well appointed but a bit hard to find. I had the burger with tater tots. The burger was nicely presented and looked good, however most of the presentation was the the adornments (sliced tomatoes, lettuce etc. The burger itself was maybe a quarter pounder and was somewhat tasteless as was the bun. My partner had the dog with jalapenos and other dressing. She ate the dog and accompaniments but as typical she left the bun. Service was prompt (their were few in the restaurant) and the drinks cold. I had the Oktoberfest beer on tap and partner had the margarita. Both were quite good as expected. All in all it is a good place to eat but there are many other better burger places in town. I doubt I will be back

Denisse M.

Yelp
Nice little corner restaurant off of some loft homes. Very colorful when you walk in, the setup is "día de los muertos". They have a little bar when you and have a small gelato post next to the bar. Food was not bad... out of the burgers we tried, the only one that stood out was the chile con queso burger . The al pastor and chilaquiles were so so. Their chile con queso fries were bomb though! Michelada... not the greatest fan, unless you like more of the tomato flavor. I must say and normally don't do this. The customer service can most definitely use some massive improvements. The sign said to wait to be seated, one lady server asked how many and told us to go wherever. I thought ok cool, we get to pick our own table! We sat down and waited a good 15 minutes, I noticed there was a woman (blue eyes I think) she was having an extensive talk with a couple. She finally came and took our drink and food order (I mean, we had all the time to get that ready, no? ) She checked on us but you could see it was brief and didn't care for us really. We then noticed her chattering it up with a pregnant woman. I always believe how you're serviced is a major impact. Which is why I added 3 stars.

Yelp
I stopped by Burgerteca for lunch with my mom. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, we found parking on the street right in front of the restaurant. What initially stood out to me about Burgerteca is that I loved the decor. Starting from the Dia de Los Muertos statue outside, to the bright colors inside, and all of the Mexican trinkets/art around, very cool vibe. After being seated, I ordered the burger sliders which gives you the chance to try three mini versions of three of their most popular burgers. I'm all about the variety so it was an easy choice! Unfortunately, there was a lack of execution. I asked the waitress to not include one or two ingredients for each slider. When my food arrived, two of the sliders came with the ingredients that I had asked them not to include. Our waitress also seemed like she didn't want to be there. She seemed disinterested, didn't check up on us, and I had to approach someone else to ask for our bill. Sub-par service on my visit. While the service was lacking, the food was a little above average. While the sliders had creative ingredients, the burgers were lacking that ooze factor and juiciness that you like in a burger. The fries were fine. Maybe we hit them on an off day.

Marc R.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere is perfect in the Southtown neighborhood in San Antonio. Highly recommend this place and 2 thumbs up on the service and most importantly the juicy burgers.

Zenaida G.

Yelp
My first visit here was not so great at all due to very poor service. However we decided to give it another try bc the food and drinks are very good here. Shockingly we got the same server. I was debating on walking out or not bc we had a larger group this time around. I'm happy to report that the service was great!!! Food and drinks were still amazing!

Frances T.

Yelp
Atmosphere was clean and upbeat. Customer service was great. They have different burgers, I chose the Mexican hotdog. It had a different flavor to it with bacon wrapped around. Jalapeños were not spicy but flavorful. I would try this place again.

Kate S.

Yelp
Go! Go now! A friend told me about this delicious, mouth-watering place and she was SO RIGHT! The Horchata Latte CAME WITH A MINI CHURRO (!) and the Al Pastor Burger with a gluten free bun (they're gluten friendly y'all!!) was one of my favorite burgers EVER. The combo of flavors was chef's kiss. They also have a great staff and it's a peaceful, beautiful environment. GO!

Mia M.

Yelp
I love going to this place ever since my husband introduced this place to me. We've gone here for small date nights, graduation parties, hang outs, or just craving a good burger. The place is spacious and has outdoor seating and patio if you want to enjoy outside or bring your dog! Inside is very colorful and the service is great! The weekends can get packed from games, marketplaces, or other events but trust me the food is good! I ordered the chicken chipotle burger with a side of fries and it is my main go to. The burger isn't too big and it's juicy enough to enjoy all the flavors it comes with! My husband ordered the Oaxaca burger with chips and queso as an appetizer. The queso was nice and hot where we finished our crispy chips. Our waitress was great on checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. She also gave us great recommendations for the next time we stop by. Overall the place is amazing to eat at! I will say mind the parking situation, before the area didn't charge for parking but now it does. Also the weekends can get packed but it's definitely worth eating here!

James S.

Yelp
I came here for the NBA draft watch party. I'd been here before several years ago and didn't love it, but I figured I'd try again. My friend and I sat down and were greeted shortly after. I told the waitress I'd never been here and wanted to know what she thought of the fries. She said "They're not very good". I appreciated her honesty, so I asked about the sweet potato fries, and she said she didn't love those either. I needed something with the burger, so I thought perhaps chips and salsa...? She said "I wouldn't, it's not very spicy". I should have seen her distaste for all of these items as a red flag, but I really wanted to give the place a try. I ended up ordering tots with pico de gallo and an el pastor burger. The burger had many unique ingredients and I thought the cilantro and aioli sounded great on the burger. I got the burger and it looked really nice. Presentation was spot-on. I took a bite and it was just really not what I was expecting. The pastor meat was seasoned really intensely and it overpowered all of the other ingredients. I took a second bite and thought I truly just don't like this burger. If other people like these flavors in a burger that's cool, but I really disliked it. I'm typically the type to lay in the bad that I made and just finish the meal even if I don't love it, but my friend convinced me to let the waitress know I didn't like it. I let my waitress know I was unhappy with the burger and she said nothing could be done. I asked if it could be swapped with a more traditional, normal burger. She said no, there was nothing she could do unless I wanted to pay for it. The burger was not my thing. That's okay. That happens sometimes at restaurants. The solution is typically simple. I should have known that the customer service would be lackluster when the waitress had nothing but bad things to say about the menu.

Jesus C.

Yelp
Came into Burgeteca expecting to get an amazing burger but got the opposite. The burger looked great but had zero flavor. On top of that the bun completely fell apart when I was eating the burger. The tots were the only food item that was good. I was upset that I spent 50$ on what I expected to be great food. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. I won't be back.

Lourdes R.

Yelp
We are new to town and came here in j the recommendation of my partner's co-worker. My kids love burgers so we knew we couldn't go wrong here. The flavor combinations were nothing I would have ever imagined. Margaritas are delicious. Chips and queso...omg...yum! The mole is soooo good! I ordered the sliders so I could try several different burgers. All are amazing. I cannot say enough about these flavor combinations. We dug into our food so fast that we didn't get pictures of anything except the mole fries. Our server, Gabriela, was friendly and helpful in choosing foods. My youngest son said, "if I could give this place 10 stars I would!"

Laura d.

Yelp
My daughter choose this place. The kids meal looked like it came from mc Donald's . Let's just say she was happy with her food. Lol $13 chicken sandwich with no sides. It was good overall. Fresh, clean environment. Daughter also got a Paleta and she loved it. ($3)

Nancy M.

Yelp
Warning: will induce a food coma. Burgers are so juicy and delicious. I love how creative the menu is. Nothing about this place is boring. The combination of flavors and the decor are vibrant. Outdoor seating overlooks the river. Free garage parking available.

Greg D.

Yelp
I really want to like this place and it's not bad but I think has potential for so much more. I come here once a year or so when I get a craving for their chicken chipotle sandwich. A couple of days ago I repeated my trek. It was mid afternoon and only three tables used. The waitress told me to sit wherever I liked and she'd be "right with me". For the next 10 minutes I watched her leisurely visit with other tables and noticed no activity in the kitchen. Then a kitchen person came out and played with a beer tap a long while pouring a little and dumping it. He saw me and she knew I was there. Nothing. The waitress kept going to the register area and back to this one table but I couldn't tell what for. Then another table went to the gelato bar and they waited on them. And 10 minutes turned into more. Finally she brought me a menu but I had already used the scan QR code on table and was ready to order. At least my drink order came fairly quickly. The sandwich was delivered in reasonable time but the chicken was super thin. Not much meat. Mostly bun. Cooked properly and reasonably seasoned. Regular fries were just average but not bad. Overall, I think I will take them off my list as it's just not anything special and I really dislike slow service especially when it's not busy.

Rebecca J.

Yelp
Not overly impressed. We opted to sit outside because it was a gorgeous day; no one came outside to wait on us. So we decided to go in to order at the bar. We ordered the mole fries, a pina colada and a beer. The bill was over $50! The mole tasted out of a can, it was cold; the fries were soggy. For what we paid, I'd expect so much more. We were also sharing the app, so quite expensive, especially for getting it yourself.

Letania S.

Yelp
The service was horrible. Only one waitress on staff and she picked and chooses who she was going to serve next. The food was mediocre. The meat in the burger was not juicy and tasted like a frozen patty. The building is cute.. the inside is cute if you like taking pictures.

Katie B.

Yelp
What a fabulous spot for a quick and delicious bite and a cold drink! Gabriella and the team took amazing care of our family, making us feel right at home! The fun vibe and vibrant decor were on point!

Elle H.

Yelp
NO explanation needed. Waitress recommendation: Chile Con Queso My recommendation: add picó, avacado and lime Chef's kiss.

Celeste A.

Yelp
Hands down amazing place!!! If you like great drinks and food this is a place to go! There food was a mixture of Tex-mex and its delicious! The food pops with flavor! The staff was friendly and atmosphere was great to enjoy after a long work week. The music was on point, We were about to start a karaoke session lol!! Its right next to the river walk. After enjoying a meal you can enjoy a nice walk! I already made plans to go back Friday!!!

Mario E.

Yelp
Been here once, it's okay. Maybe a little over priced and the waitress wasn't all that friendly but it's a nice little stop if your hungry, or need to walk over after a long day at your apartment, or a walk on the riverwalk.

Yelp
It's ok and that's saying something. The water is disgusting and (in my opinion) the tomatillo ketchup is gross, the place is super cold and when you sit down your butt freezes the food gets cold too fast and there aren't even menus which I think is bad because I like pictures and something where I can see all my options instead of having to scroll. The service is nice they seat you pretty quickly and the wait for food is ok. The seats are uncomfortable though! The food is pretty good it's a mix of Mexican food with American food like nothing I've seen before. When they brought the food in it was very unique the but mole on a burger that was amazing! But yeah it was ok.

Yelp
Hola mi gente... another famous review coming your way 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!!!! I chose this spot for my best friend Jorge and I to have dinner before exploring Southtown bars - first stop of many of what ended up as a food hop more than a bar hop. No one can test the body to its limits taking it to the ultimate fullness- beyond reason - more than me and my best friends. Our hope was that our food consumption would honor our best friends Marlen (who was he he he- ha, ha, ha - ho, ho, ho in Nashville) and John (who has been risking his life everyday in the front lines or at home - we are not sure - he doesn't tell us anything. The most mysterious of us). Anyways... Okay so right off the bat we were making a scene but also got a workout out of pulling the heavy iron chairs out from under the table in order to sit - be aware of those heavy chairs! I get it tho- their chairs and tables were definitely handmade and made with quality materials. Overall this place embraces the Mexican culture with its hacienda decor / Dia de Los muertos - A Mexican twist to the American burger. So there's a Mexican superstition that you should not put your purse on the floor- it's bad luck- well this place is putting the minds of all Mexican moms at ease - You never have to worry about your coat and purse again because they have small iron coatracks that you can request at your table to hang your items... haaaayyyyy! We started opening up the appetite with some MOLE FRIES- I like the concept, it's different and goes with this overall theme - Mexican fusion burger place - the mole sauce was really good but the fries get soggy fast from being drenched in the sauce so just a heads up if you're picky about textures. They top them with pickled red onion and white cheese - it was a perfect addition. It's worth the try. Good size for me and another person to Share but also big enough for 2-3 normal people (depends how hungry you are). I ordered the TRIO BURGER SLIDERS - consisted of Al Pastor slider, Queso burger slider, and Big Texas cheeseburger slider. That QUESO BURGER/Slider tho - I was taken back. I absolutely loved everything that was going in here. The yummy queso covering a beef patty with a layer of crispy tortilla chips - this combination of ingredients made sense and this was my favorite burger by far. I definitely recommend!!!!!!! AL PASTOR burger/slider is basically a Mexican spin on the pulled pork sandwich But no BBQ involved - a Al Pastor taco on a burger (if you will). I think it's a great concept - the Al Pastor meat patty, red cabbage- it's very tasty - I recommend!!! BIG TEXAS burger slider - no tiene Chiste meaning don't get it, you've been there - done that everywhere All burger buns had a sweetness to them ( kinda like Hawaiian sweet rolls) so it just added more greatness to every bite! Every rose has its thorn and mine was the alcoholic drinks- i got the pink Cadillac and paid $15 bucks for it- honestly not worth the price knowing Bar 1919 is a short walk around the corner. The drink I got was basic and sugary but I could also taste the alcohol- I wouldn't have paid more than 6 bucks for that. Also the regular order of fries are just okay but nothing out of this world. Free WI-FI Parking is limited - you may want to know how to parallel park well This is nice spot overlooking the river with other bars /shops close by at walking distance. Family-friendly Spanish and English speaking I would definitely come back for a full size queso burger! Definitely recommend this place!
