Burgerville

I only go to Burgerville when I have my car serviced. It’s the closest place to eat, luckily their Plantville Cheezeburger is very tasty. I think it’s the cheese. The fries are delicious too. Free refill on drinks. The dining area was clean, this time. The last time it was very busy and very dirty.

They always have seasonal items that seem to be the highlight of their menu. They never disappoint. I've not had one thing that I disliked. It's a bit more expensive than other fast food places but it's well worth it. Definitely above par. Fried green beans, waffle fries, walla walla onion rings, no.6 burger and chocolate hazelnut shake....Im just going to stop there. Awesome food

Very disappointed in their change from Halibut to cod. $13 for this??? I had 1 small bite of the fish. The fish pieces are even smaller than before. How is that possible. Tastes really bland, also I wasn't given a choice of either 2 included dipping sauces. Waited over 20 minutes for this. Never again.

$9.00 burger on soggy Brioche bun(.83 cents extra) lots of lettuce which had a bad taste mostly brown along the edges. Delivered by door dash. No problem with the delivery. According to the order progress screen dasher got to rest 6 minutes after I placed the order. Waited @ Burgerville 6 minutes. Live .03 miles away. Burger was cold! Precooked patty then condiments added? Mayo slopped on 😝

The chicken slider was perfect. I love that the chicken is big on the little bun. The sweet and spicy dry rub on it is fabulous. And I really like the hot and spicy dipping sauce. I’m hooked. I don’t usually care for or crave fast food but lately when I’m hungry, I’m kinda wanting to get another chicken slider. Just have to be careful which location you go to. This specific location made it perfect. 👌🏼

Was very disappointed in their food, used to be a special treat and we loved thier food. Went there tonight and got some takeout and very disappointed in the food, the frys were soggy some very undercooked and some soaked in grease, also the fish was not fully cooked and had a funny smell.

I used to like Burgerville. The protein in the sandwich was hot and juicy, really good. Everything else was tasteless or poorly executed. The vanilla shake was disgusting. I nearly tossed it across the parking lot after tasting. 6 bucks for disgusting. 20 bucks for this experience is just a ripoff.

Just go to McDonald's for the same thing. First time I've gone here and my double cheeseburger tasted just like a double cheeseburger at McDonald's. The portions are also very small for what you pay. If you want a great burger for an affordable price, go to nancy Joe's.

Butgervile, a Pacific NW staple and possibly the best all around burger chain you can find in the area. They often have seasonal flavor options this time of year is maybe everyone's favorite, PUMPKIN SPICE. This location used to be a regular stop for me but now it is few and far between. Burgers, fish and chips, fish sandwiches, vegetarian burger options and SHAKES, that is what Is top for, them shakes.

Ordered a sandwich and sweet potato fries, simple and basic menu item. There were at least 5 employees in the 'store ' but my fries were burnt and the sandwich bland. Only two cars in the drive through and none inside and such low service ! Not good enough for the prices charged!

What a sad experience. Burgervile used to be a premium experience. Now, the food is no better than Jack In The Box. I was served a cold burger. It's obvious it hadn't been cooked recently, it was freshly melted cheese on a cold patty. The shortcake was fine. Mostly soupy berries and not much ice cream at all. At least the fries were hot. Not. Worth. The. Price. It's a joke they'll serve you up a cold and terrible $9 burger and then ask for a tip. Yikes.

RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE, TINIEST PATTIES ON EARTH, BLAND FOOD. My co-worker just came back with a small sack of 4 cheeseburgers with fries and drinks, and he told us he paid over $40!! He said the regular, itty-bitty cheeseburgers alone were $4 a pop. Is this a joke?? I am stunned at how expensive these TEENY TINY BURGER PATTIES are. These are literally the smallest hamburger patties I have ever laid eyes on. I'm talking less than pencil-thin and no bigger around than a bar coaster. And the only thing on them is a little ketchup, a little mayo stuff, and a single pickle. The fries were limp and flavorless. A colossal rip off. Majestic, even. Arrogantly expensive.

Went to the Gladstone Burgerville last night. Our order consisted of 2 - 5 piece fish and chips, a fish sandwich, a small rosemary fry and 3 milkshakes. The total was an astounding $81 for FAST FOOD!! The pieces of fish were smaller and thinner than a deck of cards, the price for one order was almost $25. This seems ludicrous to me-I can go to a sit down restaurant and have better quality fish with more of it for less money. So disappointing....

This s what you get for $11 off Postmates from burgerville. Probably 3 of these would be filling so $30 dollars on chili for a decent meal

My partner suddenly got sick when ordering in the drive through. This caused me to be slower with ordering cause they needed help. I finished my order and apologized. The person taking my order seemed very try irritated and was short with me. I pulled out of the drive through to park cause my partner was still sick. I made sure they were ok and hurried into the store to grab my food. Ashley C had taken my order and was rude when I came and had explained and she handed me my food and gave me a f*** you look when I said thank you and grabbed it. Upon getting home, I went to grab my burger, it was DRENCHED in mayo. Soaked through the wrapper and bag. My partner ordered the same thing and did not have anything near what mine was. This was obviously on purpose, cause she wasn't having a good day and was impatient. But my partner was sick and I was just doing the best I could to get out of the drive through and didn't wanna ditch our food so I made sure my partner was ok so I could take the time to come pay and pickup. Really disappointed how inconsiderate this was :(

My wife ordered from drive through around 6:15pm tonight and the classic French fries were stale. For fries that are almost $5...

The worst service, worst food and way over priced! Over $9.00 for a tiny dried out burger on a dried stale bun. The cashier charged me for someone else's order, then got snippy with me. All together I paid $22.00 for a crappy burger, small fry (which was their medium) 4 pieces of cauliflower bites and a pop that I never got. I could have gone to a sit down restaurant for that and had delicious food and good service. I will never step foot in a Burgerville again. This was at the Milwaukee location

Overpriced, mediocre quality. Not even in an emergency would I patronize one of these again. There is no value here. Burgers are overpriced for what you get, and frankly, they're not that good. I don't like to leave crushing reviews, but I was so disappointed that I felt thus warranted a comment. I have no comment on the service, which seemed fine and appropriate for fast food. Ambiance- it was fine. Older inside, but relatively clean when we visited.

Burgers are so good along with the milkshakes it's just that the pricing is way too high.

The older woman who works the window is UNBELIEVABLY rude. Every single time I come. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

We ate at Burgerville when we were in the Portland area several years ago and the experience was fairly good. This time it was anything but. Our hamburgers were lukewarm at best, and the bacon was barely cooked. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The Onion Rings were amazing! The staff was fairly friendly and welcoming. Would I go back? No way. I cannot recommend this place after this experience.

Great place to eat - yummy food for sure! Super big shout out to Sam - the most wonderful staff member ever! She was so kind to us while serving us and SO patient! I can't say enough good things about her! Food is great as well! Go eat here!! NOW!!

Ok, this fast food place is the best, we all know McDonald's, Burger King, chic fil a, ETC. but none compete with burgerville. The fresh burgers with many toppings, I would recommend adding the spicy mayo. Their fries are the best as waffles and you need to add the burgerville special sauce with you fries. When I was younger I even went there for my birthday twice!

I visited this drive through three weeks ago when I needed to get dinner in a hurry while visiting car dealerships. I got a burger with a gluten free bun and a milkshake. The food was ready right away. The burger was great. Burgerville's gluten free bun is one of the best I've had. I appreciated that they asked if I wanted it toasted or not and mentioned the risk of cross contamination. Overall, I had a really good experience and would go back.

Its ok... I could have given it another star but the drive thru lady got all pissy with me because I purchased a regular hamburger and wanted to get 5, one dollar bills back in change (because I wanted to use the change to buy girl scout cookies that a mom and her daughter up the road were selling) Then the drive thru lady wouldn't give me the receipt, first she said "its stapled to the bag" then I asked her if it was suppose to have some kind of survey code on it... then she actually gave me the real reciept and slammed the window. The paper stapled to the bag was the custom order tag. For $2 bucks, I got a standard 99 cent burger, slightly larger than a 12 oz soda lid can.

Fantastic! I always have an excellent experience here and the worst I've ever been slighted was forgetting my onions (which i promptly just added myself at home) I am extremely lactose intolerant and they've never accidentally given me a milkshake which is super important to me. Burgers are always hot and delicious and fries always crispy. I enjoy with a beer from my fridge and it's an excellent treat after work!

Exactly like every other burgerville. Nice seasonal ingredients, rotating specials, and a basic chill interior with no frills and no kids play area. It has a very popular drive through. Don't park by it-- your car will get blocked in! I like burgerville's goals with local ingredients, but damn, could you stop overcooking the beef?

My goodness please hire someone, anyone that's competent!!! Ordered fish and chips they brought out 3 tiny flat pieces and no fries?? Ordered onion rings because it's that time of year. Yes they're still 5.99 no you do not get 5 or 4 you get 3 little greasy rings. Yuk!!! I don't ever go to Burgerville because you don't get much for the price but we usually go in the summer for the seasonal items, but no more. You can keep your 3 greasy onion rings!

This place really should have a Negative-review!!! The food is always COLD!!!! Come on COLD FOOD!!! McDonald's is better @ 1/2 the price!!! And I don't think they care!!!! If you want to pay fir OVER PRICED COLD FOOD Well this is the place to go!!!!!

I have enjoyed this burger joint for 40+ years as a local resident. actually worked there in the early 80's after school. Boy o boy has staffing attire changed since pre covid. all frontline employees had long hair and some wore it like they just got out of bed! one staff member did have hair tied back in braids. the cook did have high and tight cut hair and was wearing a hair net. All others did not. And uniform attire appeared to advertise Burgerville, but not in neat appearance? employees were stumbling over each other and crew seemed very dysfunctional as a unit. all while the cook maintained his cool tending to his grill, tidy and clean just cooking away burgers. and no icecream cones... things have sure changed at the gladstone burgerville.

Fast Yummy Slightly Overpriced Food. We wanted a good burger but live in Gladstone Oregon. It was also later in the evening. So we thought.... Hmm. Mc. D's? No! Uh... Bar Burger. Not enough cash. Plus, we wanted to snuggle and be lazy. A Bar meant, Dressing up ish and being around others... Not a snuggle like atmosphere. Uh. Burgerville? Uh. Sure. I haven't been there in a few year's. So we went to the location just down the road from us. The Drive Thru was lined up with cars waiting. We went inside for our order. It was also packed but not too bad. We placed our order. I had the American Colossal Burger with Fries and a Chocolate Milkshake. After a relatively short wait, our order number was called. Everything being checked. We left happily eating fresh fries as we went. We both got shakes. They were delicious and very thick. So tasty. The burgers were decent for fast food. Better than the queen, king or clown. Still need to find a decent burger that's better than 5 guys burgers. The Search Continues...

Not at all impressed with Burgerville after my first visit. The burger was wimpy. There were condiments and stuff on it that weren't advertised anywhere. I had to get another burger and that took two more times to get it right. The service might have been slacking because of the lack of experience but it seemed a manager wasn't nearby to offer assistance. Menu items looked interesting so I might try Burgerville again. I've heard good things and today might not have been usual.

Went here on Easter Sunday to get my favorite fresh strawberry short cake! We only went to the drive up, so I am writing about my experience there. The staff was fast and friendly, there was plenty of parking. We ended up getting some fries, and a cheeseburger with the special sauce. I don't eat fast food much, but I will eat at Burgerville. Oh how I wish-don't wish we had one in Eugene. I would probably make BV my guilty pleasure! Oh those fresh shakes..... My guy asked me how my strawberry short cake was!? My response was, does a fat kid love cake!! I was in hog heaven! I have been to many BV's and most have been great! This is one of them. Very few have disappointed, I don't know if it is mismanagement issues or what. But keep up the great work here.

What did $28 get me at burgerville today you ask? How about an ice cold burger and two of the three piece halibut i ordered. Plus a genuinely lackluster attitude from the staff. All in all a completely subpar experience. Im fine with paying more for a better quality product but not here anymore.

Boyfriend brought home some food, he walked through the door complaining about the line and wishing people didn't pull behind him because he would have backed up and left after the first 5 minutes of not moving an inch. I had a turkey burger, not much complaints there I've always enjoyed those. BUT my boyfriend is extremely disappointed with the first huge bite of his cheeseburger. It was 100% bun and when he pulled the bun off to investigate he touched the sliver of meat that was on there and it was cold. He didn't even bother eating it, just threw it away. Fries were cold too. Lame.

Horrible service, burgers are always cold or pink in the middle. I've given them too many chances because it is our neighborhood Burgerville. Rude employees.

Hands down, the slowest Burgerville I've ever been to. And I've been to them all over Oregon because I love Burgerville food. You could be the only person in the drive through, order one thing, and still be there fifteen to twenty minutes like I was this morning. The only reason I keep going here (and only very occasionally) is I live two blocks away. But they really should stop calling themselves a "fast" food joint.

Stopped in at lunch time to grab food. This isn't the normal one I go to which is in Tigard. When i read the reviews I was a little worried. They were training a new employee at the register and it looked like she was picking up the interface quickly. I ordered the Anasazi with cheese, fries and that delicious coffee milkshake. I didn't have a long wait. Everything tasted delicious and the staff was very friendly.

It wasn't the greatest visit, but we got excellent service. We ordered through the drive-through. One order of fries was forgotten in the bag but they fixed it, no big beal. We got home and without going into detail we had some items wrong. We called and spoke to Monna (I believe that's how you spell it), this kind and understanding woman helped us with getting it fixed and I will be returning solely because of her help. Thank you

The Burgerville chain is not In-N-Out, but it's more than good enough. And they serve Breakfast, which is why I stopped in last Friday on my way to Marylhurst University. This Branch is in a nice woodsy locale and with decent views in various places among the bi-level seating choices. I had some time on my hands before my Parent-Teacher Conference, so I hunkered down with a provided copy of the Oregonian, a Breakfast Sandwich, and a decent cup of black coffee. Folks here were friendly, the food came out quick, and I appreciated the sign-up for their Rewards card. The Dining areas and Restrooms were also clean. It was a solid fast food experience that I wish I would encounter more often.

This is my favorite Burgerville, and it has a fast drive-thru. I love the booth seats, and there is also a nice bar by the window in the main room. This Burgerville even has a jukebox! There is very fast service, and the waiters come right away. Free fountain refills are also included. See? I love this Burgerville, and you will too.

I am a big fan of Burgerville. Their seasonal menu items are fantastic, their sustainable business practices are great, and their employees are friendly and helpful. Some of my favorite seasonal menu items are the Walla Walla Onion Rings, Chocolate Cherry Milkshake/Smoothie, Strawberry Shortcake. Their regular cheeseburgers are small, but super tasty. There's a special spread that they put on the burger that must have something addicting on it. ;) Add one to your meal and you won't be disappointed. The Turkey Club Sandwich and Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich are really good choices too. I'm hungry, going to Burgerville now. See you there.

Never received the giftcard I was promised. To top if off- went through the drive through last week and they gave me the wrong food. Laughable at this point.

Classics Never Die! I haven't been here in years.....then randomly my parents and I decided to stop in for dinner. While it's probably never going to be a "go-to" for me food-wise.....this was a pleasant reminder of good time Burgerville has started some amazing initiatives and been a real leader in using green compostable packaging, sponsoring community charity events, and taking the steps to use sustainable sourced ingredients for their food. All very commendable, and although you will pay more than a traditional fast food place, you know you're getting clean food, local produce, and environmentally friendly products. Luckily they have veggie friendly options for me with their anasazi bean burger patty, salads, and fries not cooked in beef tallow oil. I went with the veggie burger and fries. While it tasted good, and had nice spicy chipotle mayo, it loses steam with the value. The bean patty is so much smaller than the bun buried under lettuce and tomato, there isn't much substance and that's a shame. There also seem to have eliminated their basket options, getting a burger, fries, and a drink for one price. Dropping $12 for all 3 is really pushing it and compared with many pubs and other full service restaurants where you could pay the same amount.......I feel there needs to be some better pricing options here. So there's where it loses a star for me. I'm fine paying for good quality food, but this is pushing it with a bean burger patty that small. Overall this still a great place and they certainly have my respect for being a leader in their industry and I certainly hope you give them a try. I won't be a regular here, but I wouldn't dissuade you from being one!

I'd give a zero if I could. They served me a cold burger I came back asked for a remake even brought back said burger because they acted like I was looking to gain a burger. Get the new burger it's wrapped with five wrappers the first had a smile face the rest of the four wrappers had angry frown faces so I got a refund because they probably spit in my food. So disrespectful one employee even smiled but he wiped that off real quick when I got pissed.

Great food but to call this fast food is a slight to the 30 minutes I spent in the drive through just to get a burger

I went through the drive threw at 9:30 at night(they close at 11) waited 15 minutes for my food and got the worst attitude from the worker named Taylor. Horrible customer service. She made it seem like we were an inconvenience to her job. Won't be returning.

I have always been happy with my Burgerville!! Tonight I waited about 20 min, normally no big deal!! Only about 4 cars, at the most, ahead of me!! I drove 1.5 miles home and served our food! Our burgers and fries are cold!! The cheese, not even close to melted!! With the price you pay, I expect better! First time I am extremely dissatisfied!!

Very poor customer service from the short haired blond. We ordered gluten free and when we had an issue with fries my husband went to get more after I had left. Apparently she said my allergy to wheat(that I need at least benedryl for, and is a true allergy) didn't matter since I don't have celiac. We will be contacting her manager in the morning. This is the lowest rated burgerville on here and it is in my opinion it is due to the poor attitude of the staff.

Terrible place to eat! Never thought I would say that about a Burgerville. Visited today and ordered a Tillamook Cheeseburger without lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. THIS WAS A HUGE DEAL! This is what I regularly order at other Burgervilles. Here, the counter person came back to me four times over the course of 5-7 minutes to ask again how I wanted my burger. Worst of all, the burger came to me with ice cold unmelted cheddar cheese and a room temperature burger. I returned the burger to the counter and the manager never said she was sorry, copped an attitude, and refused to look me in the face. NEVER AGAIN will I visit this Burgerville.

I like Burgerville, but for some inexplicable reason, this particular one is super slow. There could be only two or three cars in front of you at the drive-in, and it could still take like 10+ minutes.

Slow slow slow! 2 people were in front of me in the drive through... made it through 3 songs on the radio. Now I'm making a yelp review waiting for a milkshake. Cmon people!

Other than the seasonal specials this location has the most inconsistent cooking method on their burger & breakfast sandwiches than any other I've been to, this morning the ham $ egg had 2 over cooked pieces of thin ham that looked petrified and totally dry, I only come back occasionally just hoping it will improve.

First off, this review is ONLY for the Gladstone Burgerville location. I am a huge fan of Burgerville since I moved to the Portland area 28 years ago. I have eaten in ALL their locations. Gladstone (where I live) is very special. Why? Because you never know from one visit to the next what kind of service or meal you will get on that day! Might be up to Burgerville standards - might be worse than Burger King! My last visit was the single worst trip there EVER! My Halibut basket (my fave) was a total loss. The Walla Walla onion rings were burned to a lovely shade of "wildfire black". My halibut looked (and tasted) like something that came in a plastic bag from the frozen food section of a supermarket. My milkshake (Whew) was fine. To make matters worse, I took a friend from Indiana there. They have been listening to me rave about Burgerville for YEARS. They ordered the Tillamook Cheeseburger. Mistake! The patty was the size of a silver dollar. It looked lost on the bun! The cheese was cold and not melted. His fries were SOGGY! I emailed headquarters twice, and called once. Nothing. This location has serious management problems: There isn't any management. The kitchen was chaos. This is not the first time I've had problems there, but I promise IT IS THE LAST! AVOID THE GLADSTONE LOCATION! You've been warned!

The Gladstone Burgerville is our "go-to" for delicious fresh hamburgers, hot fries to die for, and shakes? Well, let's just say that the seasonal hazelnut shakes had chunks of nuts and was the yummiest it has ever been this season! Every family member has a different favorite-and that means DH stops by even just for shakes! Natasha, the girl behind the cash register did an awesome job, got the order in quickly and efficiently and was super polite. Good service and delicious food keeps us coming back.

This was my go to for a quick lunch at work.. won't be back after today. Ordered a turkey burger and it had a weird object in it.. called in to let them know and they tried to argue with me about it stating that they have to clean the grill every time they cook a burger otherwise the burgers would stick. Obviously this isn't the case- if they cleaned the grill every time this wouldn't happen. All they said they would do is check to see if the grill needed cleaning.
