I always look forward to the Walla Walla onion rings every year. I was very disappointed in my order today. They are usually big and beautiful, but that must’ve changed. I went through the drive-thru and drove 2 minutes home. They were tiny, and barely even warm. Would not recommend

Google
Great burger joint next to the St. John bridge. Best chicken tenders I’ve had in a while. Friendly staff, quick turnaround.

It’s been about 10 years since I’ve been to a Burgerville. I’ve always thought they had decent fast food, but I rarely eat fast food, and I’ve been out of Oregon. It’s also been pretty spendy for fast food. Anyway I was craving some fish and chips. That is what you get for $15+. No drink. Small hard fish. Absolutely nothing remarkable and flavorful and barely worth $5. Buy a box of fish sticks instead. Last time at Burgerville.

Google
I was a semi regular at this location, but not going forward. For the last time today they put meat in my meat free order (scramble), also no salsa verde and a fraction of the usual hash brown. I have an actual documented medical issue that prevents me from eating pork, so I always order without bacon/pork etc. This location regularly makes my food incorrectly- I get that it's mostly high school kids and they're perfectly pleasant, just the orders are habitually a problem. Additionally, 80% of the time I'm asked to pull to the side for them to make my order, only for it to often be made incorrectly quite often. At glance it looks correct but then opening it up at home/the office, it's full of what I specifically asked not to have. And I can't go back to get it corrected because I live a bit of a distance and am often going on my lunch break or before work. So it's a waste of my money and time. Disappointing.

Google
What can I say about the most iconic burger chain in the Northwest. Love the burgers and fries and all the seasonal specials. I used to ride the Burgerville train out in St. Helens in the 80's. I remember the bucket of fries 🍟 mmmmm.

Google
Our group of three visited this location for lunch. Immediately upon entering, Ted welcomed us in and took our order. He went above and beyond with his exemplary service, asked if we needed condiments and did so with a smile. Service was quick and above and beyond friendly. As we sat down to eat our lunch, we all talked about the amazing level of service and how much Ted must love his job. It is evident in the way he not only treated us, but a regular customer immediately after us. He knew exactly what the guy was going to order and treated him in the same manner. Kudos to Ted! Burgerville is lucky to have him!

Google
Burgerville is probably the best quality fast food you can get. I have celiac disease, and it’s great being able to go to a drive through fast food restaurant and get a meal. They do gluten free buns, and have lots of vegan options. What really sets them apart is the fact that they use fresh, local ingredients and sustainability and use trans fat free canola oil for all their food. They also power all locations with 100% wind energy which is pretty cool.

Leslie E.

Google
I feel petty leaving this review but I literally left my house for a soft serve ice cream cone tonight. I ordered my ice cream and a burger and shake for someone else. After I ordered and paid, I was handed the shake first. Then told their ice cream machine wasn’t working. Then after a moment of silence the employee told me it would be 15 minutes and did I want a Coconut Bliss one instead? First, they should have told me the machine was out of commission before I paid. Then they lied by saying it wasn’t working which obviously isn’t true if they could produce one in 15 minutes. Then I wasn’t offered a refund or coupon, but ended up paying for something I didn’t want.

Yelp
I've stopped tipping because of the way one individual behaves that always seems to take my order in the drive through. I imagine I'm not the only person who feels this way, but the individual always acts extremely immature in the way they talk to customers in the drive through, like they're trying to be funny by being foolish and overly sarcastic and then calling customers "my friend" over and over. Not that I expect a high level of professionalism or anything, but with the way this person behaves it gives the feeling that I should be concerned with how they are preparing and handling food, which makes the meal kind of unappetizing after I've placed my order. I feel bad for the other employees who might actually stand a better chance of getting decent tips but likely don't because of this one person. This has been consistent over the last few months and I was just hoping it would stop at some point, but it hasn't and I kind of just don't want to go to this specific location any longer. I really enjoy Burgerville and I respect the people working in the service industry and feel they definitely deserve tips, just tired of giving them to individuals who blatantly behave like their job is a joke.

Aaron R.

Yelp
I like the guy who has fun and does silly voices, brightens my day. This is my favorite location because of him.

Jerry C.

Yelp
terrible service. on break. watched those behind the counter putting up signs. no acknowledgment. no can I help you. this place sucks.
google avatar

Craig B.

Yelp
Quit asking for tips when I am paying $72.50 for 5-cheeseburgers 2-double cheeseburger baskets, 1- large classic fry, a bottle of spread, and a strawberry shake! Way too expensive probably will never go there ever again! I did not give a tip!

Madison M.

Yelp
Usually like Burgerville but it's been going downhill. It seems like they always forget an item or two and today I got my burger undercooked and still raw in the middle.
google avatar

Crystal Z.

Yelp
Onion rings are delicious! Food, chocolate and fresh strawberry shakes, all great tasting! Thank you burgerville, been the spot for years this one.

Ethan C.

Yelp
15% starting tip at a DRIVE THROUGH? That's madness. Considering that the average meal for ONE person is around $15-$20, I've gotten my order handed to me wrong way too many times. Whether that's ordering "seasonal fries" and getting normal fries, OR ordering and paying for extra sauce on the side only to not find it in the bag. They won't EVER miss charging you for something, but they'll miss putting it in the bag. For the prices they have you pay, the quality of service is severely lacking.

Yelp
I'm not sure why some of the reviews of this place are so low; my kid lives near here and raves about the burgers here, and I was so hungry tonight, I stopped by here on the way to her place and got a burger to go. And man, it was GREAT. Okay, so the place isn't fancy. And I looked around, and the parking lot grounds weren't clean in areas. And the restaurant interior is dated and looks worn. But the people were friendly enough and the menu was great if you like burgers. And fries. And milkshakes. They had lots of variety of all these. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger to go. I admit, I didn't quite "get" the prompt on the debit machine and from the cashier to tip "for the cooks" (the machine has options to tip 15 or 20% or "no tip", but the cashier kinda prompts you to leave a tip. I always tipped in restaurants where you, as a diner, are served at a table. Never at a fast food place where you get food to go, as there is no table service involved at all. But perhaps the rules have changed, and I did feel a subtle pressure to tip, so I did so. Oh well). I got to my kid's place and had the burger and wow, it was big, it was fresh, it was juicy, and they did not skimp on the ingredients. There was a good amount of bacon, and Tillamook cheese, and some sort of sauce that was delicious, and sweet onion, too. It was so big, I had to share it with my kid (who also swooned over it). Probably one of the best burgers I've had in the past 5 years. Seriously. So perhaps I was lucky with my experience, or some of the other reviewers were unlucky with their experiences, but all I know is, my burger and my experience was terrific.

Chelsea B.

Yelp
i like the food. the locally sourced of it all. shake was delicious. burger felt really fresh. didn't feel heavy. energized me unlike other fast food. really expensive though. i understand with locally sourced and all there would be some price increase but.... bland compared to what i'm paying less for at a food truck. also the manager there was yelling at the employees in front of everyone. it was embarrassing. as someone who works in the industry, i've worked at places that respect their employees and some that don't. respect goes a long way to boost morale and create a workplace environment that promotes growth. yelling at people isn't the way to do that. happy employees, happy life. honestly. probably would've been if it weren't for the yelling. even with the prices being as high as they are.

Frank B.

Yelp
Corporate greed. How is this awful place still in business. The food is always luke warm and the quality has gone so downhill. Wayyyy too expensive now for this garbage. Hopefully this place goes out of business

Pevins W.

Yelp
The best Burgerville they always nice to me and it's clean inside and they got good tunes on 100 stars you guys rock

Yelp
Let me just say I am a Burgerville fan. I have been for decades. And during the trying times of this pandemic, labor shortages, etc. I am trying not to be too harsh. But honestly the last few times I've come here it's been disappointing. With the dining room closed, of course the drive through is a long wait even at not peak meal times. Today for example was about 15 min after order. The results are the food tends to be warm at best and often cold, especially the fries but even the burgers and sandwiches. The best and still consistent are the awesome shakes which stay cold and taste as good as always. I won't rule out coming here again as it is close to home, but I am going to give it a break and hope they can resolve some of the issues they are dealing with.

Yelp
I had really low expectations for Burgerville based on the reviews, but my husband and I were starving last night and all the restaurants in St Johns close early so we reluctantly found ourselves at the drive through. Maybe it was my low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised! The criss cut fries were so good. Perfectly crispy but still soft we also tried a cheese burger, chicken sandwich, and the wawa onion burger. All were great! Wawa was a little saucy for my liking but still good nonetheless. The star of the show was the blueberry milkshake. This may have been the best fast food shake I've ever had. The flavor was fresh and fruity and the blueberry drizzle was so good. Only critique I have is that the drive through line was quite slow, but I give them a pass because their dining room is not open due to COVID. Solid experience!

Rachel W.

Yelp
The crunch breakfast biscuit is so fire. Very friendly morning staff. Drive thru is pretty fast for fresh tasting food.

Emily P.

Yelp
Wanted a milkshake. Ordered milkshakes. Unable to enjoy. Have to wait an hour to be able to suck it up. Still can't suck it up. Thick paste substance 2 inches on the bottom I tried with all my might for an hour to sip, gave up. Bottom of cup is 1/2 cup thick substance, then like 3/4 ice cream, with 2 cups whip cream on top for 6.50. Shouldn't have to work so hard to not be able to drink a milkshake.

Yelp
Dirty not clean inside and outside Some food looked like McDonald's, Burgerville went down the hill.

Virlie B.

Yelp
This is a drive thru fast food burger joint. A little confusing on where the actual drive thru is at (it's not clearly marked and it's a very small parking lot), and I'm not even sure if they're letting people inside yet as there was quite a few people outside milling about near their cars. Just the usual fare until we get to the payment and the cashier asks us "were you planning to tip today?" My friend and I were a little surprised as this place is basically the local northwest McDonald's, and I've never been asked if I was planning to tip at McDonald's. Again, tip is a bonus I usually give after a meal, if the service was good, or the food was exceptional. Did I already say this is a fast food? A place where I go if I'm starving and need to eat now before my blood sugar drops? I sometimes don't even know what the food actually tastes like except that fries are usually salty. Here's the kicker, of course I'm going to say yes, because the kid is right in my face and I was too taken aback to say no, the tipping starts at 15% ! At a fast food, in a drive thru!?! I mean, fast food is also a choice if I (allegedly) smoke weed, but what are these people smoking?? Dudes, I don't know if you think you're a local food cart or something, but if you want to be tipped at a fast food joint in the level of Mickey Dees, at a drive through, at the very least start at 10 %. There's way too many fast food places near this area where I won't get awkward experience, I will not be coming back.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
They had the nerve to ask for a tip in the drive through and then proceeded to give me cold fries!! Way over priced for the quality of product!!
google avatar

Sebastian K.

Yelp
I was already not a fan of this location, but after forgetting my dipping sauces twice in a row (catching it on the third time,) and giving me the wrong burger on my last order I am absolutely done with this location. Is there something wrong with their POS system that sauces don't show up on it or something? Beside that, I was given a single cheeseburger instead of a double as I ordered, and there is limited recourse for getting a refund/remake because only the drive-thru and online pick-up is available. When I've worked and commuted all day, the last thing I want to do is wait even longer for them to fix their mistake. I haven't written off Burgerville completely, but will absolutely avoid this location.
google avatar

Jenelle B.

Yelp
My husband and I are Cali natives & we're also not a fan of I&O but we love our burgers. It's been our thing to come to Burgerville to try out their seasonal products and they kill it every time. *NOVEMBER* Rosemary Sea Salt Fries - I love how they made them shoe string. Kinda gave us the garlic fries vibe but omg, we each had a large and they were devoured immediately. Sauce not needed. Smokey Blue Cheeseburger - This would be a $15 burger in CA. Don't think about it, just order it. Multiple times even. Chai Shake - I didn't realize this was their collaboration with Tea Bar. I love chai so I definitely enjoyed this drink. I get the bliss because lactose yannnnoe?! Will probably stop by multiple times for the month of November.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Peppered bacon burger my butt .. It says PB on the wrapper but there no bacon on this burger. Took a bite and noticed something was wrong. The waffle fries were also flavorless and tasted like straight up oil. Coulda gotten a better burger else where. This is defintly not nop notch fast food. Asked for thach, got honey mustard. Such a mess . Messed up my whole order. Having just moved here I'm very disdappinted with west coat fast food . Hey burgerville how about you redeem yourself .

Laura B.

Yelp
When you ask for no lettuce or pickles and they take the time to write it on the wrapper, and take the extra time to ignore the request and add them anyway
google avatar

Tyler R.

Yelp
Alright, alright, its Burgerville. The quality of food is always good but unfortunately the service.... is not. This location really struggles with times, whether you are in the drive through or sitting inside. It is not uncommon to wait 10-20 minutes in the drive through just to get to the window... With all that time you would think that they would be able to get the order correct eh? nope! Still forgot the fries. Very frustrating because I want to really like Burgerville. Their company values are great, the foods great, but they need to refine a couple things! Bottom line-- If you have the time and patients to wait then I would say go for it! Pepper bacon cheeseburger for the win!
google avatar

Julia A.

Yelp
super nice workers but i ordered 2 burgers, a salad and 2 waters and didn't receive either burger only got one water and got the wrong dressing..
google avatar

Molly V.

Yelp
My sister and I went through the drive thru of this Burgerville and had to wait a few extra minutes in line before we could get our food. Not a big deal at all -- maybe an extra 5 or so minutes of waiting. When we rolled up to the window to pay for our food, the woman told us that our order had already been paid for by the manager due to the "long wait time". We reassured her that the wait time was not an issue and offered to still pay for our food but she insisted that it had already been taken care of. We both really appreciated the stellar customer service -- it made our day! And, of course, our fries and chocolate milkshakes were amazing per usual. Thank you!!
google avatar

John F.

Yelp
My fries were not drained properly and so much grease soaked the bottom of my bag that it not only left a grease spot below the bag, but flowed down the fabric making my front passenger seat unusable. Absolutely unacceptable.
google avatar

Melinda P.

Yelp
Looking forward to the smoky blue cheese burger priced at $6.79. Total.Let.Down. At this price point I expect better than McDonalds, but far under Tilt quality. - Soggy lettuce - Barely ANY blue cheese (that's what I'm paying for here, right?!? The amazing Rogue Blue cheese?!?) - Garlic aoli barely spread making the burger dry and in need of condiments My suggestion? Skip Burgerville and spend the dollars on gas to hit up Mike's drive-in for the Bacon Blues Burger on Dave's Killer Bread. Delicious!
google avatar

Vee V.

Yelp
First off, the customer service here is so good. Employees are SO NICE. I haven't had any issues with my order whenever I go through the drive-thru, just a really pleasant experience. Also the waffles fries are DELICIOUS.
google avatar

Annie C.

Yelp
Disappointed.... Just got home to eat my grilled chicken club salad that I paid $6.99 for... Opened the bag up to find a pathetic looking salad topped with overdone bacon and literally 3 cherry tomatoes and 3 slivers of onion. (See picture I posted). I could have gotten a way better pre-made salad down the street at Safeway, for half the price.
google avatar

Cole B.

Yelp
Came here last night around 7pm order two meals. My Fries tased like fish and chicken strips just like old oil. Stop eating them went to my cheese burger ate it. Not even a hour later we where both throwing up nonstop sick all night. I understand it's a busy time but CLEAN and wash your guys hands. Clean cooking areas something because this was the nasty Burgerville I had in my life...

Gabriel S M.

Yelp
without a fail foods always missing or cold . not sure why I should be tipping for that.

Edith G.

Yelp
They almost always get my order wrong. I usually check it in my car and find that I must go back in and ask them to fix it. Once they gave me my breakfast burrito with no meat, no tomato/onion, and no cheese. They were out of those things and didn't tell me! It was just eggs and hash browns (I had added those in). Today I went through the drive through with my dog. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, both for my dog because she will be put down this afternoon as a result of cancer. Because I was emotional and distracted with this I did not check the order. I'm just really mad that they couldn't get it right this one time. Never ever going back.
google avatar

Erin C.

Yelp
Not sure how you can make a fresh burger and it comes out cold and the fries are like ice. Absolutely a waste of money!!! We will never be back! You charge SO MUCH MONEY for crap food! Better off eating my dogs food! No wonder you only have 2 1/2 stars!!!!

Michael S.

Yelp
I grew up with Burgerville. Not the burgerville of my youth for sure. Fries were barely warm and soggy. customer service was poo, and the wait in drive thru was rediculous. They wanted a tip too!!!! I won't ever go back.
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
The food is normally average at best, but today was terrible. I paid $15 for 3, 2" pieces of fish that were at least warm, a bunch of super cold fries (the mayo from my fridge was warmer than the fries) and a nearly completely melted milk shake, not to mention the tartar was overly warm and gross because if it. I'm a 2min drive (7min walk) from the place. Not even a half hour later, and my tummy is cranky. This place is definitely questionable.
google avatar

Eric M.

Yelp
Another Fast food joint contributing to unhealthy choices. When you have to advertise that you are using real strawberries, what the hell else would you use!? This place is an eye sore right in the heart of St. John's. I wish it would go park next to MacDonalds or follow Starbucks to wherever it went.
google avatar

Kerri L.

Yelp
My manager insisted on taking me and a fellow employee to lunch just because it was Friday. Well, OK then, let's raise the roof, always ready for happy times! Parking after winding through the streets of St. Johns was really not just a trip, but a trippy trip. Wow, phew, wiped my brow after that little excursion. Once in we could relax and order. A shy young lady obviously working her first job helped us out, could almost look us in the eye, so we were nice to her and weren't too fractious even though we were celebrating Friday (do you remember your first job?), and I decided on a spicy Anasazi black bean burger with some gorgeous orange-colored sauce that was nice and spicy and set the bean burger off to a tee. I really wanted a large blackberry shake but backed off because it was my boss (new to me) buying after all and didn't want to show her too quick what a secret piggy I am about ice cream and ice cream products. Bless my boss's heart, however, because she ordered a basket of the Walla Walla sweet onion rings and forced us to eat them. I screamed a lot, but I did manage to get some onion rings down. Yummy, crispy, sweet - all that good stuff one wants for lunch. My fellow employee got a great-looking cheeseburger and fries. If this is a celebration, I'll take it. What great fun and such tasty food. Oh yeah, the company was pretty good too! And remember to be nice to the teens starting their first jobs out this summer!

Yelp
Coming back to the Northwest after college in Southern California - I was pumped to hear that Oregon had this "mythical fast-food chain of goodness" called "BURGERVILLE". People said: "you'll say In-n-WHAT? after trying this place," which was a lofty claim. Yet the more I heard about it, the more intrigued I became. (I'm not a fast food fan - but I'm always looking for a place to prove me wrong. Thus far, only In-N-Out has done so.) The conditions were perfect - fresh, local, sustainable practices, a menu that boasted seasonal selections, (even Turkey burgers! WOW!), a socially conscious business model...and it was a Wednesday. Conditions were perfect. But this "mythical fast-food chain of goodness" turned out to actually be a myth. Yes - the side selections were great, (it's tough to screw up onion rings, but I'm sure it can be done). But for a place that calls themselves BURGERville, I was expecting a dang good burger. I'm sorry. Have you BEEN to an In-n-Out? To my utter dismay, my "burger" resembled something that would come from a #2 at McDonald's...and was a far cry from even the next closest competitor. I'm hurting on the inside. I WANT to be able to say that I love Burgerville. Nothing would make me happier than to be able to announce that this place, in fact, could hold a candle to the famed Burger Joint to the south. But in the end, I just love the IDEA of Burgerville, and I will forevermore stay away from their namesake burger. I'll have to make the drive to Redding to get my fast food burger fix.
google avatar

Ben K.

Yelp
I love Burgerville, but I hate coming to this one. When I was there the first time, a drunk guy came from behind the bushes and demanded I buy him a cheeseburger. I agreed to, bought it, and then, for some reason, I gave it to him. Don't ask me why. I also paid with the wrong card, and it caused me to overdraft. When I tried to bring it up to the person at the window, they refused to help me. When I tried to call back a couple days later and complain, they again refused to help me. Thanks, Burgerville! And of course because they aren't so busy, the meat is always cold.
google avatar

Michael E.

Yelp
I like Burgerville. I even brag about it when out of towners visit. Just don't go to this one. I'll bite my tongue about what I really want to say about this place. So instead, I submitted these comments via BV's website. Let's see what happens: I've visited my local BV more than several times. If your company cares at all about your reputation an intervention is needed here in St. Johns. EVERY time I visit the service is slow, my order is wrong, and the food is cold. What gives? Even if this happened only a few times I wouldn't feel the need to write this, but it's EVERY time day or night. It's clearly a real problem. Visit yelp.com and see that I'm not the only person that has had such experiences. I hope this helps make you aware of a problem that needs some attention. I love eating at BV, but I won't be back here until changes are made. Thanks for your time.
google avatar

Joe G.

Yelp
I've had good luck with other Burgervilles, but stay far away from this one. I went through their drive-through a couple nights ago and ordered a burger with no ketchup. When I got home, I found they'd served me two buns with nothing but ketchup inside. No meat, no veggies, no cheese, just ketchup. Hilarious! The dude who pulled that deserves his terrible life, and the Burgerville who hired him deserves to go out of business. Hit the local McD instead. F this place.

Chase B.

Yelp
Went through the drive threw and waited for a long time just to get the line moving, wasn't even that many people as well. Once I got my food I was excited to finally eat and then I grab my burgers and they're cold and they put mustard on them as well when I asked for ketchup only. Fries are stale and the shake was alright. Been through here a few times and so far this is the worst experience I hope they do better next time.

Yelp
Burgerville in general has been less than stellar of late, not sure what's going on. This location is the bottom of the barrel, IMO. The meat is always bland, the veggies limp, the bread flattened and the FRIES, just terrible. Undercooked, cold and overly greasy. Not sure what's going on here, but I'd rather go to Burger King, TBH. I'm really in the mood for a burger tonight, as happens a couple of times a month, and Burgerville always pops into my mind. Then I remember... I really don't mind the cost, you get what you pay for in my mind, but to be disappointed for $12 makes me upset. Granted St Johns is not known for its culinary acumen, minus Slim's of course, but a chain should be up to snuff. I just don't want to have to get "dressed" to go to a sit down joint, drive-thru should be my saving grace, but no.
google avatar

Claudia G.

Yelp
I love Burgerville over all the fast food places I've been to in the Northwest, but this local in particular is awful. I will not be going back. The local feels dark and lonely, and the service is slow and unfriendly - the complete opposite of all the Burgervilles I've been to on the Washington side. Last month's portobello sandwiches were really sad; cold and with wilted lettuce. I wish I'd had them in a different location; they might actually have been good. Oh well.
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
Burgerville can be pretty tasty, but not this one. I'm disappointed every single time I visit this location, and every time I go I say it's the last chance. Unfortunately, they are right next to my office so it makes a convenient place to drive through when I'm in a hurry. (if you're wondering why I keep going back after countless one-star food experiences.) Their main problem seems to be with the fries. No matter how excruciatingly long I wait in the drive-through line, my fries are always cold or dripping with grease. It's disgusting. I don't know what they're doing with their veggie burgers but they are nowhere near as good as any other burgerville location. If you're in St. Johns and hungry, I'd recommend skipping this place and trying one of the other restaurants in the area. Sorry Burgerville, you need to get it together.

Yelp
Haven't been to a Burgerville since I was a little kid. Mostly because my parents are like religiously opposed to this place. But me and my dad decided to walk across the street and try it. Wasn't really the most pleasant experience. He ordered a pepper bacon burger and a "regular" (take note of that) onion rings, and I got a Tillamook cheeseburger (which was actually pretty great) and a blackberry shake (which was bomb. get one). The onion rings was what was terrible. We sat at a table and got our drinks and the girl comes out and gives us our trays. And she put the onion rings down and there were four. Literally. Exactly FOUR very small onion rings. Those were $3.75. Basically a dollar per onion?? What the actual shit. He ate two and said they were really oily and he asked me if he should go complain about it. And of course I said he should because that is off the charts ridiculous. So he did, and I watched him go up there. The lady (who I'm assuming was a supervisor. but not a good one apparently) didn't even look at him. She just asked why they were bad and he said he wanted his money back for the awful FOUR oily "bite size" rings. She didn't even look at him the whole time, for real. While he was talking, she went on the register to do a refund. How obnoxious is that? Not even "Oh I'm sorry sir, I'll get your money for you." Not even a pretend apology..? So she just shoved his money back and walked away. I would give this place zero stars... but half of the one star is for the burgers which were actually good, and the other half is for that amazing milkshake. Which is all this place is good for is their shakes. Their fresh strawberry ones are really great. And you know what really sucks is that since this place is basically a chain fast food type of place, nobody will even read these reviews and try to improve. But oh well. I feel better knowing that someone might avoid this place because of my review, or someone else's perhaps.

Yelp
I feel the need to defend this great Burgerville against the onslaught of negative reviews I've been reading. I live nearby and stop by with friends pretty frequently. My food has always been excellent, the service has always been personable and friendly, and I've always had a great time here. I once had a small mishap with my order and the manager himself fixed my order, put some cash on my BV card, and sincerely apologized for an admittedly small mixup. I know St. John's is known for some of its smaller, less commercial eateries, but I never hesitate to stop by Burgerville with friends for a bite!

Yelp
I was expecting great quality fast food. I have never eaten at Burgerville so this was the first time. The hamburger was cold and the rosemary shoe strings fries were cold which make them taste aweful since they are little and crispy. Alot of people go to this location. Maybe I just got unlucky.

Yelp
While it may be "fast" food, Burgerville goes way beyond anything you can find at Smackdonalds or Taco Smell. This is top quality stuff. The gold standard of anything quick and greasy you may feel inclined to ingest into the filter that is your GI tract. Burgerville is awesome, great quality, and I trust it with my "needs" like I trust no woman. What's the big deal, you may ask? The freaking food is what's so awesome. It's all local, relatively-organic-ish, but it's all real food constructed and cooked right there in the store! Not dehydrated, not mass produced... it's actual food, and you can taste the quality. Another awesome thing: seasonal menu items. What grow naturally in the area in the summer? Berries. So naturally, they have berry shakes with fresh berries, seeds and all, in season. Other stuff in other seasons, you know how it goes. My only complaints: 1) They do not sell common stock 2) They are only located in the PNW region. We need Burgerville in Maryland! Do yourself a flavor and eat at Burgerville instead of any other fast food place. You will probably live a day longer.
