"Burgerville, the fast food chain known for its seasonal shakes and groundbreaking fast food union, has confirmed that they do not allow any sort of “Black Lives Matter” or “Justice for George Floyd” buttons or materials in the workplace. "It is Burgerville company policy that employees working in restaurants may only distribute and wear buttons produced by Burgerville, and buttons related to terms and conditions of employment such as wages, benefits, and working conditions," the company said in a statement to OPB. The union, however, sees this policy as silencing its workers and has pushed back against this policy for years." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Had a great meal. The place was clean and quiet, the Northwest Tillamook Cheddar Cheeseburger was delicious and the fries were good too! I instantly regretted going to Wendy's a few days prior and they are pretty good. Found my new place to go when ever I'm in Portland

Classic burger diner, I had their grilled chicken sandwich and my wife got their plant based burger. They also had vegan shakes made with coconut bliss. I highly recommend the Marionberry shake.

I had read that place is vegan and gluten friendly and since I was staying across the street, it seemed worth a try. From the outside and when you walk inside, it seems like nothing fancy and even may feel questionable but the food was honestly delicious. I ordered the Plantville Cheezeburger and it actually tasted so good! Vegan cheese is not easy to nail but they picked the right products for sure. I didn’t realize the bun wasn’t gluten free so had a regular bun but the fries are gluten free so that was comforting. I was impressed with how fresh everything tasted for a fast food restaurant. Would come here again!

I think the app needs to be updated as to when your mobile order will actually be ready… ended up waiting 15 minutes after the order was set to be ready. My shake melted as I waited for the rest of the meal. It was VERY busy and everyone was working super hard and i have no complaints about the actual staff, just frustrated that I spent more than half my lunch break waiting. I would have arrived later had the app told me it would be ready later. Edit: I appreciate the reply, but I think I need to reiterate that it was not that the order wasn’t done quickly that was frustrating- it was that the app told me it would be ready far before it would even be possible for it to be ready given how busy the location was. The issue is not on the staff to “improve”. I’m fine with food taking longer to be made when a place is busy- the problem is that the app did not take into account how busy the store was when it said it would be ready in 6 minutes. Which would have been impossible given how packed the place was. Please don’t put this on the workers to “fix”. It’s not their fault and they truly were doing their absolute best and working their hardest to get orders out promptly. The app just needs to be fixed so it takes into account how long an order takes. I use the app for pickup frequently, and no matter what time of day or how busy a location is the app says 6 minutes.

Do not buy shakes from this location they hand me a shake that isn’t even blended then ask for a tip on the keypad I went to take a drink of this shake and it’s either very very strong or just pure ice cream depending on where you sip from. They didn’t blend it.

I had never visited a Burgerville before, and I've been wanting to try it. So we were nearby in Portland and decided to give it a go. I was let down, and I won't be going back to any location after this. I got the double cheeseburger, which was very small; the size of a McDouble, but it was over 6$ for a tiny kid-sized burger! You know at McDonald's you can get the same sized burger, with fries, nuggets, and a drink all for a dollar less. The patties were DRY, like little hockey pucks, and were completely flavorless. I actually usually love small burgers so the size isn't an issue for me, but the price, the dryness, the lack of flavor... I had to drown the little burger in ketchup to make it edible. The patties were probably old and had been sitting around. I expect a place with "burger" in the name to have decent burgers at the very least, but nope. It sucked. The fries were decent, although soggy, not crispy. I don't much mind a soggy fry myself but I'm sure others would. And 5$ for a "large" fry, but the bag was pretty small, maybe more like a small or medium fry. Very underwhelming. Do you know how many more fries I can get at Five Guys for one or two dollars more? At LEAST quadruple the amount. I will say the shake was delicious. I got a strawberry shake, there were tons of bits of fruit inside and it tasted better than a Sonic shake. The prices were insane here also, completely not worth it. A kid's meal (kids burger came slathered in more sauce than meat, had to wipe it off for my kid), two burgers and two fries and a shake cost about 35$. Not worth it.

The concept is great with local sourced food. The execution, not so much. Cold patty that didn't melt the cheese seemed like it might be normal. Vanilla looking chocolate shake.

Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a strawberry shake was very delicious and on point. Almost went some place else for lunch but glad I stopped here. Everything was freshly prepared as ordered.
